Abstract

The increasing demand for sustainable construction materials has encouraged the utilization of alternative materials, such as rice husk ash (RHA), and the use of chemical admixtures like superplasticizers in self-compacting concrete (SCC). This study aims to evaluate the effects of RHA and superplasticizer incorporation on the fresh and hardened properties of SCC, focusing on flowability, segregation resistance, and compressive strength. The experimental program involved three SCC mixtures: normal concrete, and SCC with 4% and 8% RHA and superplasticizer by cement weight. Fresh concrete properties were assessed using the slump flow, V-Funnel, and L-Box tests, while compressive strength tests were conducted on cube specimens after 28 days of curing. The results indicated that the addition of 4% RHA and superplasticizer enhanced the compressive strength to 34.02 MPa and maintained flowability within the specified limits, with an average slump flow diameter of 675–697 mm, V-Funnel time of 7.35–8.72 seconds, and L-Box ratio of 0.84–0.85. However, the 8% RHA mixture exhibited a decline in compressive strength (28.51 MPa), highlighting the detrimental effects of excessive superplasticizers on particle cohesion. Furthermore, the use of RHA reduced concrete density, showcasing its potential for lightweight construction applications. These findings confirm that a 4% RHA and superplasticizer dosage optimizes SCC performance, supporting sustainable construction through resource-efficient and durable materials. The study underscores the need for precise mix designs and suggests broader applications of RHA and chemical admixtures in advancing green concrete technologies.

Abstract

Abstrak: Analisis Dan Evaluasi Kinerja Bundaran Saronde Kota Gorontalo. Dengan semakin banyaknya pembangunan yang terjadi di Kota Gorontalo, maka perlu adanya tinjauan ulang atau evaluasi terhadap prasarana transportasi sebagai penunjang mobilisasi masyarakat Gorontalo. Evaluasi tersebut dilakukan di bundaran Saronde yang merupakan penghubung Pusat Kota Gorontalo, area kampus Universitas Negeri Gorontalo, pusat perbelanjaan Gorontalo Mall, lapangan Taruna Remaja Gorontalo, serta Rumah Dinas Gubernur Gorontalo. Padahal keberadaan dan peran bundaran Saronde Kota Gorontalo sangat penting bagi dinamisasi lalu lintas masyarakat sekitar yang menggunakan akses bundaran tersebut. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini yaitu adalah menganalisis hal apa saja yang mempengaruhi kemacetan lalu lintas di Bundaran Saronde kota Gorontalo. Metode pengujian menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dimana pengumpulan datanya dilakukan dengan cara survei volume kendaraan, survei kecepatan kendaraan, serta survei geometri jalan yang kemudian dianalisa dengan menggunakan metode perhitungan dari Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI, 1997). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa kondisi arus lalu lintas atau kinerja yang terjadi pada Bundaran Saronde Kota Gorontalo pada kondisi existing atau tahun 2020 ini sudah melebihi kapasitas yang ada yaitu nilai derajat kejenuhan = 0.974 dan tundaan bundaran rata-rata = 18.06 det/smp. Kondisi existing geometri Bundaran Saronde Kota Gorontalo tidak sesuai dengan peraturan Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia 1997, yaitu dengan diameter bundaran 5.50 meter. With the increasing number of developments taking place in the City of Gorontalo, it is necessary to review or evaluate the transportation infrastructure as a support for the mobilization of the Gorontalo community. The evaluation was carried out at the Saronde roundabout, which is the link to Gorontalo City Center, the Gorontalo State University campus area, the Gorontalo Mall shopping center, the Gorontalo Youth Youth field, and the Gorontalo Governor's Office House. In fact, the existence and role of the Gorontalo City Saronde roundabout is very important for the traffic dynamics of the surrounding community who use the roundabout access. The main purpose of this study is to analyze what things affect traffic congestion at the Saronde roundabout, Gorontalo city. The test method uses qualitative research where data collection is carried out by means of vehicle volume surveys, vehicle speed surveys, and road geometry surveys, which are then, analyzed using the calculation method from the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI, 1997). Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the traffic flow conditions or performance that occurred at the Saronde Roundabout in Gorontalo City in existing conditions or in 2020 have exceeded the existing capacity, namely the degree of saturation = 0.974 and the average roundabout delay = 18.06 sec/ junior high school. The existing geometry of the Saronde Roundabout in Gorontalo City is not in accordance with the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual, which is 5.50 meters in diameter.

Abstract

Abstrak : Analisis Pengaruh Keselamatan Dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) Terhadap Kinerja Pekerja Konstruksi. Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3) merupakan upaya untuk menciptakan suasana bekerja yang aman, nyaman dan mencapai tujuan yaitu produktivitas setinggi – tingginya. Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja sangat penting untuk dilaksanakan pada semua bidang pekerjaan tanpa terkecuali. Tujuan Umum, Untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (k3), terhadap kinerja pekerja konstruksi bangunan Masjid Blok Plan Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara Tahun 2021. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner dengan responden sebanyak 30 orang. Berdasarkan Uji Reliabilitas nilai Cronbach alpha sebesar 0,610, hal ini membuktikan bahwa penelitian dapat dilanjutkan. Berdasarkan nilai mean terdapat 9 faktor yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pekerja konstruksi. Dari kesembilan faktor tersebut dilakukan korelasi dengan uji regresi terdapat 7 (tujuh) faktor yang diterima yaitu : saya merasa takut terhadap sanksi diberikan bagi pelanggar peraturan keselamatan, perusahaan memberikan asuransi kecelakaan kerja kepada karyawan, saya selalu bekerja sesuai standar mutu yang telah ditetapkan perusahaan, saya merasa aman dan nyaman saat bekerja karena menggunakan APD, semua bagian dari peralatan yang berbahaya telah diberi suatu tanda-tanda, perusahaan memberikan jam istirahat yang cukup untuk memulihkan stamina karyawan sehabis kerja, perusahaan memberikan metode atau petunjuk kerja serta metode penggunaan peralatan keamanan yang dapat mempermudah pekerjaan saya. Kata kunci : K3; Keselamatan dan Kesehatan kerja; pekerja konstruksi Abstract : Analysis of the Effect of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) on the Performance of Construction Workers. Occupational Health and Safety (K3) is an effort to create a safe, comfortable working atmosphere and achieve the goal of high productivity. Occupational Health and Safety is very important to be implemented in all fields of work without exception. General Purpose, To find out and analyse the effect of occupational safety and health (K3) on the performance of construction workers in the Blok Plan Mosque building, North Gorontalo Regency in 2021. The type of research used in this study is a quantitative descriptive type of research. Data was collected using a questionnaire with 30 respondents. Based on the reliability test, the Cronbach alpha value is 0.610, this proves that the research can be continued. Based on the mean value, there are 9 factors that greatly affect the performance of construction workers. Of the nine factors, correlation with the regression test, there are 7 (seven) accepted factors, namely : I am afraid of sanctions given to violators of safety regulations, the company provides work accident insurance to employees, I always work according to the quality standards set by the company, I feel safe and comfortable when working because they use PPE, all parts of dangerous equipment have been given a sign, the company provides adequate rest hours to restore employee stamina after work, the company provides methods or work instructions as well as methods of using safety equipment that can make it easier my job. Abstract

This study aims to identify the factors that influence the performance of operational and maintenance costs in the DI irrigation network. Paguyaman. To achieve this goal, the researchers used a survey method by distributing questionnaires to a number of respondents who were involved in the implementation and monitoring of DI irrigation networks. Paguyaman. Data collection was carried out by way of a direct survey to the location and a list of questions in the questionnaire for primary data. As for the secondary data obtained from the literature and data from related agencies. Based on the results of the questionnaire from the respondents, a ranking was made of the causal factors that affect the performance of operational and maintenance costs in the DI irrigation network. Paguyaman. From the ranking results, there are 15 factors that are categorized as influential. The conclusions that can be drawn after statistical tests are that there are seven factors that influence the performance of operational costs and maintenance of irrigation networks in D.I Paguyaman. These factors are unexpected conditions and events (floods, earthquakes and others), general information and methods in carrying out operations and maintenance for field officers are inadequate, there is still a lack of responsibility for officers in carrying out irrigation operations and maintenance, changes in areas that encouraging the conversion of paddy fields to other users, the number of operational and maintenance officers is still lacking, the equipment is of poor quality and there is no training for P3A, and the most dominant factors affecting the performance of operational costs and maintenance of irrigation networks in D.I Paguyaman are conditions and events that unexpected events (floods, earthquakes, etc.).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the age of the road pavement that is passed by overloaded vehicles and the factors that influence road pavement damage to the design life using the Bina Marga 2022 component analysis method. Data collection techniques are carried out by collecting primary data and secondary data. Primary data collection was carried out by observing directly in the field, while secondary data collection was road geometric data and existing road pavement thickness obtained from the relevant agencies/agencies, in this case the Land Transportation Management Center for Region XXI Gorontalo Province and the PUPR Service for Highways. To be able to determine the age of the pavement and the factors that influence the damage to the pavement, an analysis of the data is carried out, including: average daily traffic data, vehicle axle load configurations, comparison between the damaged power by standard axle loads, design traffic values on lanes. cross section, cumulative ESAL value and pavement life. Based on the results of research on road damage analysis due to road overload loads on the Botu Office Access Road Section, it can be concluded that based on the traffic design analysis (ESAL) under normal conditions, the remaining life of the pavement is estimated to end in the 10th year since the research. traffic of 5% there is a reduction in the age of 1 year from the design age of 10 years, as well as with an increase in traffic of 10% and at a traffic increase of 15% there is a reduction of 2 years from the design age of 10 years

Abstract

Pengabdian dalam rangka melakukan monitoring dan evaluasi ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan kenyataan fisik dilapangan bahwa pekerjaan konstruksi yang dilaksanakan pada 4 (empat) dinas/instansi, yaitu Provinsi Gorontalo, Kota Gorontalo, Kabupaten Bone Bolango dan Kabupaten Pohuwato sudah tercapainya target tepat waktu, tepat mutu, tepat anggaran dan tepat sasaran serta untuk meminimalisir kesalahan–kesalahan yang terjadi pada pelaksanaan proyek konstruksi. Permasalahan yang sering dihadapi yaitu ketidaksesuaian kuantitas dan kualitas serta spesifikasi sebagaimana yang tertuang dalam kontrak serta kelengkapan administrasi yaitu dokumentasi dan nota pembelian. Metode yang digunakan adalah melakukan pengukuran kembali untuk kuantitasnya dan pengambilan sampel data untuk pengujian kualitasnya. Berdasarkan hasil temuan dilapangan ini memberikan pelajaran dan pengalaman yang penting bagi penyedia jasa agar dalam pelaksanaan pekerjaan harus memperhatikan spesifikasi yang tertuang dalam kontrak.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the age of the road pavement that is passed by overloaded vehicles and the factors that influence road pavement damage to the design life using the Bina Marga 2022 component analysis method. Data collection techniques are carried out by collecting primary data and secondary data. Primary data collection was carried out by observing directly in the field, while secondary data collection was road geometric data and existing road pavement thickness obtained from the relevant agencies/agencies, in this case the Land Transportation Management Center for Region XXI Gorontalo Province and the PUPR Service for Highways. To be able to determine the age of the pavement and the factors that influence the damage to the pavement, an analysis of the data is carried out, including: average daily traffic data, vehicle axle load configurations, comparison between the damaged power by standard axle loads, design traffic values on lanes. cross section, cumulative ESAL value and pavement life. Based on the results of research on road damage analysis due to road overload loads on the Botu Office Access Road Section, it can be concluded that based on the traffic design analysis (ESAL) under normal conditions, the remaining life of the pavement is estimated to end in the 10th year since the research. traffic of 5% there is a reduction in the age of 1 year from the design age of 10 years, as well as with an increase in traffic of 10% and at a traffic increase of 15% there is a reduction of 2 years from the design age of 10 years
