Abstract

In the contemporary era, technological advancements have significantly impacted various aspects of human life, offering increased efficiency and convenience. Indonesia, aiming to enhance international competitiveness, recognizes the importance of integrating technological innovation across economic sectors. Despite its abundant natural resources, Indonesia's vital agricultural sector faces challenges, including the limited adoption of modern technology, resulting in suboptimal productivity. This study focuses on addressing these challenges by developing the MyHydro mobile application, utilizing IoT and Progressive Web App (PWA) technology to enable remote monitoring and control of hydroponic systems. The research methodology includes literature review, user requirement analysis, system design, and black-box testing. Results show that MyHydro successfully bridges the gap between traditional farming practices and modern technology. Users can efficiently monitor and control hydroponic systems, enhancing crop yields and promoting sustainability in Indonesian agriculture. In conclusion, MyHydro offers a valuable solution to modernize Indonesian farming, aligning with global trends in smart agriculture. It empowers farmers and contributes to the nation's agricultural growth.

Abstract

Rose of Sharon Church (ROSC) Salatiga, as a rapidly growing spiritual community, faces challenges in managing the increasing number of congregants, especially during events and compliance with health protocols. This significant growth necessitates more effective attendance management to avoid overcrowding. This research addresses this need by developing the ROSC Worship Reservation application based on Progressive Web Apps (PWA) using the Flutter Framework. The application aims to simplify congregants' worship reservations, reduce crowds, and support church administrative tasks. The use of Flutter as the primary framework provides advantages in rapid development and a user-friendly interface. The results of the User Acceptance Test (UAT) show a high satisfaction rate, reaching 92%, regarding the application's functionality and user interface. Additionally, 84% of respondents state that the seating layout displayed by the application significantly aids in effectively choosing seats. It is hoped that the application will continue to provide benefits in managing congregational attendance systematically, efficiently, and in compliance with health protocols. The conclusion of this research emphasizes that the ROSC Salatiga Worship Reservation has successfully created an innovative solution to support church management amid the dynamic growth of congregational attendance.

Abstract

This research addresses the pressing need to enhance healthcare accessibility and efficiency, particularly in the context of increasing demands and challenges in the healthcare sector. The background problem lies in the limited accessibility and inefficiencies present in traditional healthcare systems, exacerbated by factors such as geographical constraints and resource limitations. To overcome these challenges, this study introduces MyClinic, an innovative application designed to streamline healthcare processes and improve access to clinic service. Utilizing structured methodologies including BPMN, ERD, Use Case Diagram, and Class Diagram, MyClinic is systematically developed to offer clear functionality. Through Black Box Testing, the application's functionality is rigorously validated, demonstrating compliance with specifications and ensuring user satisfaction. By addressing these issues, MyClinic aims to revolutionize healthcare delivery, offering a solution that is efficient, accessible, and user-friendly. This research highlights the critical role of technology in addressing healthcare challenges and underscores the potential of innovative solutions like MyClinic to transform healthcare delivery in the digital age

Abstract

Kebiasaan pelajar yang lebih banyak menghabiskan waktunya untuk bermain gadget bisa berdampak pada menurunnya kreativitas. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa-siswi di SMAK 7 Penabur Jakarta dengan menggelar kegiatan pelatihan desain grafis. Tim dosen dari program studi Sistem Informasi Universitas Katolik Indonesia Atma Jaya memberikan pelatihan kepada 27 orang pelajar dari kelas X, XI, dan XII untuk membuat karya desain grafis berupa poster dan flyer yang diselenggarakan selama 2 hari pada Kamis dan Jumat, 09-10 November 2023. Pelatihan tersebut menggunakan aplikasi desain grafis berbasis web yang dapat diakses secara online dan gratis yaitu Canva dan Photopea. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kreativitas siswa dimana nilai rata-rata hasil karya mereka berada pada skor 86,5 dengan kategori baik sekali, hal ini mengartikan bahwa hasil karya yang dibuat para peserta telah menerapkan tiga aspek penting seperti kreativitas, kombinasi elemen desain grafis, dan kelengkapan informasi 5W+1H. Para pelajar juga secara kreatif dapat menerapkan prinsip dasar desain grafis dan kombinasi elemen dasar desain grafis pada setiap hasil karya mereka.

Abstract

Purpose: This training for social media content creators and professional video production techniques is conducted with the aim of providing motivation and insights into the tricks and techniques needed to become a content creator. The goal is for the participants, who are high school students, to utilize their gadgets and time more constructively rather than for consumptive purposes. Methodology: Organized by the Information Systems Department of Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia, this training will be held at Campus 3 BSD Unika Atma Jaya on Saturday, November 25, 2023. Targeting 60 to 100 high school students from Banten, the activity will be evaluated using pre-tests and post-tests, calculated manually using the average formula. Results: The result of the training activity went smoothly and achieved the initial target of being attended by 90 active participants. The selection of speakers for the training was also appropriate, matching their expertise, and they were able to deliver the material clearly using various real-life examples. The evaluation results of the activity showed that the post-test scores increased by 43.7% compared to the pre-test scores. Therefore, it can be concluded that the participants understood what was conveyed by the speakers. Conclusions: The right resource persons and interactive learning methods contributed to the effectiveness of the training. The success of this activity shows a positive impact in increasing the creativity and productivity of the younger generation in utilizing gadgets constructively. Limitations: Due to time and budget constraints, the activity was not conducted with direct hands-on practice in the form of a workshop. Additionally, the target participants were limited to the surrounding area, specifically high school students in the Banten region. Contribution: This training gives high school students broader insights, enabling them to use their gadgets and time positively. It also equips them to become content creators by learning professional video production and social media management skills.

Abstract

Batik Besurek is an Indonesian cultural heritage that presents a variety of motifs reflecting the richness of creativity and symbolic meanings. A significant challenge in this field is accurately and efficiently identifying and classifying batik Besurek motifs, known for their intricate designs and cultural significance. In efforts towards cultural preservation and development, a combination of modern technology and local wisdom is required. One technology that can be utilized is object detection technology using You Only Look Once (YOLO), specifically the latest version, YOLOv8, for the classification of batik Besurek motifs. The dataset collected consists of 1,656 images taken from the Roboflow public repository, containing various motifs such as Burung Kuau, Kaligrafi, Kembang Melati, Rafflesia, and Rembulan. The dataset is divided into 1,324 images (80%) for the training set, 166 images (10%) for the validation set, and 166 images (10%) for the test set. Model training is conducted with hyperparameter values: learning rate of 0.01, batch size of 16, and 100 epochs. The application of the YOLOv8 model as a training model for the batik Besurek motif dataset yields an accurate final model with an average precision value for each motif class of 96%, and an average recall value for each motif class of 93%. This study aims to assist communities in recognizing and distinguishing batik Besurek motifs, contributing to the preservation of Indonesia’s cultural heritage.

Abstract

Keterampilan pemrograman menjadi kebutuhan penting di era digital, terutama untuk mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi tantangan dalam kompetisi sains, seperti Olimpiade Sains Nasional tingkat Kota (OSN-K). Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk membimbing siswa SMA Tarakanita 2 Jakarta, khususnya 5 siswa dari kelas 10 dan 11 dalam mempersiapkan diri mengikuti OSN-K 2024 bidang informatika melalui pelatihan intensif pemrograman C++. Peserta siswa yang mengikuti pelatihan disini memiliki pengetahuan dasar pemrograman yang bervariasi, mulai dari siswa yang belum memahami dasar pemrograman, dan ada yang sudah mengenal dasar pemrograman di mata pelajaran kelas yang diberikan oleh guru. Metode yang digunakan mengombinasikan pembelajaran teori dan praktik dengan memanfaatkan platform pembelajaran interaktif, seperti TOKI, W3Schools, dan Kattis, serta alat pengembangan Visual Studio Code dan OnlineGDB. Pelatihan dilaksanakan secara hybrid (daring dan luring) selama 6 hari. Berdasarkan evaluasi yang dilakukan, terdapat peningkatan signifikan dalam skor ketepatan jawaban dan algoritma, serta kecepatan waktu pengerjaan soal oleh siswa. Rata-rata peningkatan skor mencapai 11,3 atau 27,8%, sementara waktu penyelesaian soal lebih cepat sebesar 17 detik atau 6,8%. Kegiatan pelatihan ini berhasil memperkuat kesiapan siswa dalam menghadapi OSN-K dan membekali mereka dengan keterampilan pemrograman yang lebih baik untuk masa depan

Abstract

The effort to keep customers is one of the important CRM strategies in each business that can increase profits for the company. The XYZ workshop which became the case study in this study focused more on attracting customers than implementing customer retention strategies. The aim of this research was to analyze customer transaction data in the XYZ workshop using the K-Means clustering method with RFM attributes to classify customers and determine appropriate strategies to retain customers. This research was conducted using a descriptive research method with a quantitative approach, whereas data analysis was carried out through the stages of data selection, preprocessing, transformation, processing and continued with RFM strategy analysis. The results of this study obtained 5 clusters with different strategies according to the RFM score obtained. This strategy can be used by XYZ workshop as a strategy to retain customers to provide more benefits.

Abstract

Sebagian besar lembaga pendidikan telah melakukan upaya nyata untuk memajukan kecerdasan bangsa dengan menerapkan penggunaan teknologi khususnya komputer dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Salah satu sekolah ternama yaitu SMAK 7 Penabur Jakarta telah menerapkan teknologi dalam proses pengajarannya sesuai dengan visi dan misi sekolah. Pada tanggal 9 dan 10 November 2023 sekolah tersebut menggelar kegiatan Workshop IT Camp yang dimana salah satu dosen dari prodi Sistem Informasi Universitas Katolik Indonesia Atma Jaya (Unika Atma Jaya) ikut berpartisipasi sebagai narasumber. Melihat latarbelakang para peserta kegiatan yang tidak rata tentang pengetahuan komputer khususnya kemampuan dalam pembuatan program yang masih cukup rendah, maka narasumber memilih materi pengenalan dasar web design, karena materi ini bersifat fundamental dan tidak terlalu terkait dengan kode program. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan memberikan pengetahuan baru terkait pembuatan web sederhana dengan memperhatikan unsur-unsur dari web design dan dapat melatih meningkatkan imajinasi dan kreativitas dalam membuat tampilan aplikasi web yang baik bagi peserta didik di SMAK 7 Penabur Jakarta. Seluruh rangkaian kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Narasumber berhasil melaksanakan kegiatan edukasi pengenalan dasar web design di SMAK 7 Penabur Jakarta yang dihadiri oleh 21 peserta siswa-siswi SMA dari kelas X, XI, dan XII dengan baik dan tanpa kendala yang serius. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan menunjukkan nilai post-test mengalami peningkatan sebesar 26,7% dibanding nilai pre-test, sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa peserta masih dapat memahami materi yang diberikan oleh narasumber

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah memberikan dampak signifikan bagi berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk sektor keagamaan. Gereja Bethany Lampung menghadapi tantangan dalam memfasilitasi kebutuhan rohani jemaat yang semakin kompleks di era digital. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan melatih jemaat menggunakan aplikasi berbasis Android, Bethany Lampung App, yang dirancang untuk mempermudah akses pada layanan doa, konseling, dan pendaftaran sakramen. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada 11 Agustus 2024 yang dihadiri oleh 19 peserta jemaat Gereja Bethany Lampung. Metode yang diterapkan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan aplikasi, implementasi, pelatihan, serta evaluasi dengan System Usability Scale (SUS). Dari hasil evaluasi, aplikasi ini memperoleh skor rata-rata SUS sebesar 74,7%, menunjukkan penerimaan yang baik di kalangan jemaat. Melalui pelatihan yang interaktif, jemaat Gereja Bethany Lampung mampu memahami dan menggunakan aplikasi dengan efektif. Kegiatan ini berhasil memberikan solusi berbasis teknologi yang relevan dan memperkuat ikatan komunitas gereja, sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan jemaat dalam berbagai aktivitas rohani.
