Abstract

Currently, mangrove restoration and rehabilitation efforts are rampant through planting, but monitoring of these efforts has not been carried out properly because there is a major problem, namely the lack of monitoring methods. One of the monitoring methods that can be done is through biomass estimation as an indicator of mangrove growth. This study aims to develop an allometric model to estimate the biomass of Bruguiera gymnorrhiza mangrove seedlings as one of the mangrove species often used in planting. The method used in this study was the measurement of diameter and height of mangrove seedlings in the mangrove restoration area of Budeng Village, Jembrana. The data obtained were analyzed using regression analysis to produce an allometric model. The results showed that the resulting polynomial allometric model has a high level of accuracy in estimating mangrove vegetation biomass, by having a high coefficient of determination and a very small percentage error value. Therefore, the resulting polynomial allometric model with predictors of tip diameter and height diameter can be used as a tool to estimate mangrove seedling biomass in mangrove restoration areas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang proses pembelajaran mata kuliah Pengantar Teknologi Informasi, faktor kendala dengan menerapkan media Edmodo. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentai. Observasi digunakan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang penerapan media Edmodo dengan cara mengamati secara langsung jalannya proses perkuliahan Pengantar Teknologi Informasi. Wawancara digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dari narasumber yaitu dosen Pengantar Teknologi Informasi maupun mahasiswa semester 1. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian dosen menyampaikan kontrak perkuliahan yang akan dijalani selama satu semester, selanjutnya memberikan pengarahan kepada mahasiswa tentang media Edmodo. kendala masalah jaringan dan apabila ada mahasiswa yang kurang mampu memanfaatkan atau mengoperasikan laptop/komputer, maupun pengoperasian Edmodo, maka akan menghambat proses pemanfaatan media Edmodo sebagai media dalampembelajaran mata kuliah tersebut

Abstract

Permasalahan pemanasan global dan tingginya emisi karbon dari sektor transportasi menjadi perhatian utama di Indonesia. Kebutuhan akan kendaraan listrik yang efisien dan berkelanjutan mendorong pengembangan sistem manajemen energi yang adaptif dan cerdas. Perancangan sistem kontrol daya berbasis Fuzzy Logic pada kendaraan listrik multi-sumber yang mengintegrasikan fuel cell, baterai, superkapasitor, dan plug-in charger menjadi salah satu solusi untuk mengoptimalkan distribusi energi secara dinamis. Sistem ini memanfaatkan kombinasi antara Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) dan Proportional-Integral (PI) controller untuk menyesuaikan suplai daya antar sumber energi sesuai dengan kondisi beban kendaraan yang berubah-ubah. Simulasi dilakukan dalam dua skenario utama, yaitu mode discharging (pengosongan daya) dan charging (pengisian daya). Pada mode discharging, fuel cell dan baterai berperan menjaga kestabilan suplai daya dalam kondisi steady state, sementara superkapasitor menyediakan respons cepat terhadap lonjakan beban. Sedangkan pada mode charging, fokus pengisian diarahkan ke baterai melalui plug-in charger dengan dukungan fuel cell, sementara superkapasitor tidak aktif. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dirancang mampu menjaga kestabilan tegangan bus dan meningkatkan efisiensi distribusi energi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of community leaders in promoting quality political participation in Kertasari Village, Suradadi District, Tegal Regency. The research focuses on: (1) the forms of roles carried out by community leaders, (2) the political communication strategies employed, and (3) the challenges faced in building citizens’ political awareness. This study adopts a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study design. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation, analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The findings reveal that: (1) community leaders serve as educators, mediators, and moral role models through informal spaces such as religious gatherings, community meetings, and personal communication; (2) the strategies applied are persuasive and contextual, considering citizens’ social backgrounds and levels of political literacy; and (3) participation challenges include political apathy, transactional influences, and limited access to information. To address these issues, community leaders employ cultural approaches and exemplary conduct. These findings reinforce the strategic position of community leaders in fostering political participation that is not merely formal, but also substantive and reflective

Abstract

Shoreline change is one of the most visible and measurable indicators of coastal dynamics, reflecting the complex interactions among waves, currents, sediment transport, and coastal morphology. Understanding and predicting shoreline evolution are increasingly important for environmental sustainability, coastal infrastructure planning, hazard mitigation, and integrated coastal zone management, particularly in sedimentary, low-lying coastal environments that are vulnerable to erosion and flooding. This study applies a One-Line numerical model to analyze shoreline evolution at Plentong Beach, Indramayu Regency, Indonesia, over a one-year simulation period from 2026 to 2027. Shoreline displacement was computed along an 1150 m stretch of coastline using transects spaced at approximately 50 m intervals, allowing for detailed spatial assessment of shoreline response. The results reveal pronounced spatial variability in shoreline behavior, characterized by significant erosion at both ends of the coastline and marked accretion in the central segment. This pattern indicates the dominant influence of gradients in longshore sediment transport, suggesting that shoreline change at Plentong Beach is primarily governed by alongshore sediment redistribution rather than uniform coastal retreat or advance. The central accretion zone likely represents a sediment convergence area, while the eroding segments function as sediment source zones within the coastal system. Overall, the study demonstrates the applicability and usefulness of the One-Line numerical approach for short-term shoreline prediction on sedimentary, low-lying coasts. The findings contribute to a better understanding of coastal morphodynamic processes at Plentong Beach and provide valuable insights that can support evidence-based coastal management, erosion mitigation strategies, and sustainable planning along the northern coast of Java.
