Abstract

Ibn Khaldun discovered many basic economic ideas in the centuriesbefore his birth “officially". He discovered the benefits and necessity ofthe division of labor before Smith and the principle of the value of laborbefore Ricardo. He outlines population theory before Malthus andstresses the role of the state in the economy before Keynes.Ibn Khaldun used concepts to build a dynamic and coherent system. Inthis system, economic mechanisms must bring economic activity tolong-term fluctuations. Because of the coherence of the system,criticisms that can be made against most economic concepts using thesame idea cannot be applied at this time.We must revise the terms of the founding fathers of economic theoriesin the history of economic thought, Ibn Khaldun is claimed to be apioneer for many European scholars, mostly sociologists, historians andphilosophers. However, although his ideas have been known in Europesince the nineteenth century, it seems that his successors were notfamiliar with his economic thinking.

Abstract

General Background in this context, the Village Consultative Body (BPD) serves as a key institution supporting the development planning process. Specific Background however, understanding the specific role of the BPD in development remains limited. Knowledge Gap this research aims to analyze and describe the role of the BPD in village development planning. Aims data collection methods used include observation, interviews, and documentation, with data analysis through collection, reduction, presentation, and verification. Results findings show that the BPD plays a crucial role in formulating and agreeing on village regulations and as a channel for community aspirations. An adaptive organizational structure of the BPD and the involvement of community elements make this process more efficient. Success the assessment of the BPD’s role in village development received positive responses from the community. Implications however, challenges remain regarding the passivity of BPD members, which can affect the optimization of village regulation formulation. This study highlights the importance of strengthening the BPD's capacity to be more responsive to community needs. Highlights: The BPD is essential for channeling community aspirations into development plans. Positive community feedback indicates effective BPD involvement in village governance. Challenges include passive member engagement, hindering optimal regulation processing. Abstract

This research aims at the pattern of community social interaction that exists between the Islamic organizations Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah in Karangdawa village, Margasari district, Tegal district. This research uses a qualitative research method that uses a field approach (field research) and this research design uses a descriptive design. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research are 1) the Islamic organizations Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah in Karangdawa village which are structured and clear regarding their composition or order as evidenced by the running of the programs. 2) the pattern of social interaction of the people from the Islamic organization Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah in Karangdawa village can be seen in everyday life, the interaction between the two is also seen when they are synergizing and working together in society, thus the social interaction between them forms a social process that is closer and then brings relationships. harmony in Karangdawa village. 3) The interaction of the two organizations is also influenced by driving factors including imitation, suggestion, identification, sympathy and self-introspection. And then the factors inhibiting social interaction are competition, contradiction and conflict.

Abstract

Kawasan pesisir Pasir Sakti, Lampung Timur, merupakan wilayah yang rentan terhadap perubahan garis pantai akibat abrasi dan akresi. Faktor utama yang memengaruhi perubahan ini meliputi aktivitas hidrodinamika laut, dampak manusia, serta perubahan iklim. Penurunan luas hutan mangrove sejak 1980-an mengakibatkan tingginya tingkat abrasi, yang mengancam kelestarian ekosistem pesisir serta aktivitas masyarakat lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perubahan garis pantai selama periode 2003–2022 menggunakan metode Digital Shoreline Analysis System (DSAS) dengan indikator Net Shoreline Movement (NSM) dan End Point Rate (EPR). Analisis perubahan luasan mangrove dilakukan menggunakan citra satelit Landsat melalui perhitungan indeks NDVI. Uji korelasi Spearman digunakan untuk mengevaluasi hubungan antara perubahan luasan mangrove dan dinamika garis pantai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebelum restorasi, garis pantai didominasi oleh abrasi dengan rata-rata NSM sebesar −65,128 m pada 2003–2004. Setelah restorasi, khususnya pada periode 2015–2022, akresi mulai mendominasi dengan rata-rata NSM mencapai +496,682 m. Luasan mangrove meningkat signifikan dari 27,45 hektar pada 2004 menjadi 1510,02 hektar pada 2022. Uji korelasi menunjukkan hubungan positif signifikan antara luasan mangrove dan stabilitas garis pantai, meskipun faktor lain seperti dinamika arus dan gelombang juga turut memengaruhi.

Abstract

The rapid transformation in the agribusiness sector, driven by globalization and digitalization, necessitates the adoption of intelligent systems to enhance performance, market accessibility, and decision-making processes. Despite the growing use of personalized recommender systems in e-commerce, geographical context remains insufficiently integrated into recommendation processes. This lack of geolocation awareness diminishes recommendation relevance and accuracy by overlooking geographical factors that influence user preferences. To address this limitation, this work aims to enhance the performance of recommendation systems in agricultural e-commerce by incorporating geolocation context through the integration of the Geo-Mod Neuro Collaborative Filtering (GMNCF) model into an Android-based application for agricultural products. The GMNCF model improves collaborative filtering by incorporating geographical region data to capture spatial user preferences and reduce data sparsity. Using Graph Neural Networks (GNNs), the model captures complex relationships among users, items, and geographic regions to generate more accurate recommendations. Experimental results reveal that GMNCF consistently delivers substantial performance improvements over baseline models such as NGCF, GC-MC, ASMG, and GCZRec. Compared to the strongest baselines, GMNCF demonstrates relative gains of approximately 4.9% in Precision, 5.9% in Recall, 5.6% in F1-Score, and 5.7% in Hit Rate. These improvements underscore the model’s effectiveness in capturing spatially influenced user preferences and strengthening the relevance of recommendations in the agribusiness e-commerce system. Furthermore, user testing with diverse respondents indicates high levels of satisfaction, particularly regarding location-based recommendation features and accessibility. These findings highlight the effectiveness of incorporating geographical region data into recommendation systems, which is particularly beneficial for geographically fragmented agribusiness markets.

Abstract

This study presents a comprehensive analysis of benthic habitat distribution and public infrastructure on Tunda Island, aimed at developing effective tourism zoning strategies. By integrating high-resolution spatial data derived from field surveys and remote sensing technologies, including multispectral imagery and Geographic Information System (GIS) methodologies, the research delineates distinct zones optimal for diverse tourism activities. The findings indicate that the southern and southeastern parts of the island, characterized by sandy substrates and proximity to resorts and docks, are well-suited for intensive tourism. Conversely, the northern and northwestern regions, dominated by coral and rocky substrates, are proposed for conservation-oriented educational tourism due to their rich biodiversity. The research also highlights the potential of community-based tourism facilitated by existing public infrastructure such as schools and mosques, which supports local engagement in tourism development. The resultant zoning map serves as a vital tool for local authorities and stakeholders in Tunda Island, guiding sustainable tourism management practices that value ecological integrity and community involvement. This study underscores the importance of interdisciplinary approaches in ecological monitoring and tourism planning, contributing to the broader discourse on sustainable practices in small island contexts

Abstract

Kebutuhan akan kendaraan listrik (Electric Vehicle/EV) yang efisien menghadapi tantangan seperti keterbatasan jangkauan, penurunan performa, dan degradasi baterai akibat beban berkendara yang dinamis. Sistem multisumber yang mengintegrasikan Fuel cell, baterai, dan superkapasitor menjadi solusi menjanjikan untuk mengatasi keterbatasan tersebut karena mampu menyinergikan keunggulan masing-masing komponen. Namun, perbedaan karakteristik dinamis dari setiap sumber energi menuntut adanya sistem manajemen energi (Energy Management System/EMS) yang cerdas dan adaptif untuk mengoordinasikan aliran daya secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan menyimulasikan EMS berbasis kombinasi Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) dan Proportional-Integral (PI) Controller pada kendaraan listrik multisumber. FLC digunakan untuk menentukan daya referensi bagi Fuel cell dan superkapasitor berdasarkan permintaan beban (Preq) dan status State of Charge (SoC), sedangkan PI Controller digunakan untuk menstabilkan tegangan bus DC melalui pengaturan daya baterai. Model sistem dibangun dan diuji menggunakan MATLAB/Simulink, dengan skenario beban dinamis, termasuk kondisi akselerasi dan pengereman. Pada kondisi pengereman dengan SOC tinggi, sistem diasumsikan dilengkapi dengan braking resistor untuk menyerap kelebihan daya. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa EMS mampu membagi daya sesuai karakteristik masing-masing sumber, menjaga kestabilan tegangan bus DC, serta merespons perubahan beban secara efektif. Fuel cell berperan sebagai sumber daya dasar yang stabil, superkapasitor menyuplai dan menyerap daya puncak secara cepat, sedangkan baterai berfungsi menjaga kestabilan sistem secara keseluruhan. Strategi kontrol FLC-PI yang diusulkan menunjukkan performa yang adaptif, efisien, dan stabil, sehingga berpotensi meningkatkan efisiensi dan durabilitas kendaraan listrik multisumber.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze shoreline changes numerically in the Batu Karas Beach area, Pangandaran, using the one-line model approach. This model is used to predict shoreline shifts resulting from abrasion and sedimentation processes influenced by wave and current dynamics. The simulation method employed is the finite difference method, which simplifies the problem of shoreline movement into a dominant one-dimensional form. Simulation results show that in several segments of the beach, abrasion occurs at an average rate of 35.94 meters per year, while in other segments, accretion occurs at a rate of 34.32 meters per year. These findings provide important insights into coastal dynamics that can be used to support sustainable coastal management and protection planning.

Abstract

This article discusses the prospect of coco fibre industry in Indonesia as an effort of increasing added value of coconut product. Supported by the abundance and less utilization of raw materials (coco fibre) throughout the country and increasing price and demand for coco fibre products, domestically as well as internationally, Indonesia has a potential chance for promoting coco fibre based industries. The simple industry that produces coir fibre and coir dust is recommended to be built by using selected technology. Various characteristics of supporting technologies and the financial feasibility of coco fibre based industry have been the concluding remark of the discussion in this article. The industry that use the MTM1 and Bandung type machines in its process is found financially feasible.

Abstract

Sedimentasi yang terjadi di Pelabuhan Patimban menyebabkan pendangkalan pada alur pelayaran dan kolam labuh kapal, sehingga mengganggu aktivitas yang terjadi pada pelabuhan. Untuk mendukung kegiatan tersebut, diperlukan kegiatan pemeliharaan dengan cara melakukan pengerukan sedimen yang mengendap secara berkala. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pola transpor sedimen yang terjadi selama satu bulan dalam mempengaruhi kedalaman di kolam labuh kapal yang diakibatkan oleh sedimen yang terbawa dari Sungai Sewu menuju kolam labuh kapal di Pelabuhan Patimban. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode numerik dengan pemodelan hidrodinamika dan transpor sedimen menggunakan MIKE. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pada area labuh kapal terjadi erosi dan sedimentasi yang tergolong sangat kecil yaitu erosi maksimal -0,0000754 meter dan sedimentasi maksimal sebesar 0,000026 meter. Sedangkan pada area alur pelayaran kapal juga terjadi erosi dan sedimentasi yang tergolong sangat kecil yaitu erosi maksimal sebesar -0,00006 meter dan sedimentasi maksimal sebesar 0,00000833 meter.
