Abstract

This article explores a new model of Islamic boarding schools in the modern era. Various innovations appear to be made as an urgent change to Indonesia’s educational system. “Pesantren entrepreneur” is, among other, a new way (manhaj) of Indonesia’s contemporary education to reduce unemployment and overcome poverty. The concept is that students (santri) are not merely taught such religious lesson (tafaqquh fî al-dîn) but they also trained to be able to understand and possess ability within economics aspect (tafaqquh fî al-tijârah). It is assumed that the more pesantren entrepreneur are established the stronger the nation’s economy will be. It has been undeniable fact that Indonesia’s independent and its development have been strongly supported by Islamic educational system, namely Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) which widely spread across Nusantara. The implementation of pesantren entrepreneur has been initiated from a strong desire to develop pesantren through active, creative, productive and innovative actions which will subsequently provide pesantren chance to independently maintain its existence. The author argues that such an effort will be able to create better future for our next generation.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine how Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning strategies contribute to the instillation of moderation values, particularly in light of the numerous social and religious conflicts in Indonesia. Teaching moderation is a crucial approach to addressing these issues, as it plays a fundamental role in integrating Pancasila values into society. This journal explored PAI teaching methods, their impact on moderation values, and the supporting and inhibiting factors influencing PAI learning strategies. The study was conducted using a qualitative approach with a descriptive study design, utilizing key informant interviews, documentation, and observations for data collection. The findings of this study are expected to provide a comprehensive analysis and practical recommendations to enhance education, particularly in instilling moderation values among students.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate and analyze Jalaluddin Rumi's teachings on religious moderation and Islamic education within his Sufi tradition. A qualitative method was utilized in this study, including library study, field observations, and interviews with individuals involved in Islamic education at Pesantren. The findings revealed that Jalaluddin Rumi did not explicitly discuss the concept of religious moderation. Instead, he devoted his life to propagating Sufi values and attitudes closely aligned with Islamic beliefs, mystical knowledge (marifat), and sharia as elements of religious moderation. The values of religious moderation conveyed in Rumi's works include compassion (rahmat), humility (tawadhu), excellence (ihsan), forgiveness, mutual respect, tolerance, and peace. This study, conducted at Pesantren Raudhatul Mutta'alamin in Lamongan, illustrated the significant relevance of Jalaluddin Rumi's Sufi teachings to advancing Islamic education and promoting religious moderation in Indonesia.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang relefansi Reward dan Punishment dalam proses Pembelajaran. Fokus yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini ialah; 1) bagaimana proses penggunaan Reward and Punishment di sekolah, 2) sejauh mana relevansi penggunaan reward an punishment dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini ialah; 1) Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa proses penggunaan Reward and Punishment di MTs Nurul Jadid Sidayu Gresk sudah tergolong sudah baik dan rutin terprogram dalam penggunaanya siswa maupun siswi meraa termotivasi dan tertarik dengan menggunakan Reward and Punishment dalam kegiatan proses belajar mengajar. 2) Penggunaan reward dan punishment saat ini masih tergolong relefan dan sangat dibutuhkan dalam proses pembelajaran, namun perlu diketahui tidak semua permasalahan yang terjadi di sekolah/kelas haris diberikan melalui punishment, melainkan melalui kegiatan positif yang lain seperti membaca qur’an dan sholawat

Abstract

This study aims to test how much influence parental attention has on the ability to memorize the Qur'an of students at SMK Ar-Rahma Mandiri Indonesia Pasuruan. In addition, this study aims to identify and create new media, and is expected to provide input and evaluation for the learning process of the Qur'an both in schools and other Qur'anic institutions. And add a new discourse to be able to develop the scientific repertoire of Islam. This research is a type of experiment research with a quantitative approach with true experimental design research. The results obtained by the researcher that there is a significant difference in the level of influence of parental attention and BTQ strategy on the memorization ability of the students of SMK Ar-Rahma Mandiri Indonesia Pasuruan with a value of Sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05, i.e. 0.002 < 0.05, which means that there is a significant difference between the level of influence of parental attention and the BTQ strategy on the memorization ability of the students of SMK Ar-Rahma Mandiri Indonesia Pasuruan. And the magnitude of the effect based on the R Squared value of 0.739 lies at (0.71 0.90) with a "strong" interpretation.

Abstract

The establishment of online Islamic religious e-learning with a focus on religious moderation in educational institutions is an endeavor aimed at broadening the availability of well-rounded and balanced Islamic religious education through digital learning platforms. This research aimed to create an e-learning system that specifically emphasizes the principles of religious moderation within schools. The research adopted a developmental approach (R&D), by utilizing the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). After conducting an analysis, the e-learning system was designed and developed using cutting-edge technology that enables active student interaction and engagement. Subsequently, the e-learning system was introduced as a pilot project in the school setting. Students and teachers actively participated in utilizing this system to access Islamic religious content that was customized to their individual needs and comprehension level. Throughout the implementation phase, an assessment was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the e-learning system in enhancing comprehension of the Islamic faith and fostering a moderate religious mindset. The findings of this research demonstrated a significant demand for Islamic religious education focused on religious moderation. There was a pressing need for the development of efficient learning tools to facilitate successful comprehension of Islamic Studies materials, particularly among junior high school students. This conclusion is supported by the analysis of data using the Wilcoxon test, which yielded a t-value of -4.878 and a p-value of 0.00, indicating statistical significance (p < 0.05).

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji Implementasi Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dalam meningkatkan pemahaman mata pelajaran Fiqih Kelas VII di MTs Mambaus Sholihin Gresik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan (field Research) yang akan dilaksanakan di MTs Mambaus Sholihin, Sedangkan pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini data yang dihasilkan berupa data deskriptif yang diperoleh dari data-data berupa tulisan, kata-kata dan dokumen yang berasal dari sumber atau informan yang diteliti dan dapat dipercaya. Sedangkan teknis analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasli penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran PBL yang di terapkan di MTs Mambaus Sholihin telah berjalan sesuai teori dan definisi meski agak sedikit berbeda dalam langkah-langkah. Namun begitu, esensi dari langkah-langkah PBL yang di lakukan para guru Fiqih MTs Mambaus Sholihin tetaplah sama dengan esensi yang di rumuskan para ahli yakni bisa melakukan proses pembelajaran berdasarkan masalah dan menuntut peserta didik lebih aktif dalam berpartisipasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Suatu proses pembelajaran apapun modelnya, para guru di tuntut harus lebih kreatif, inovatif dan sebisa mungkin membuat siswa bahagia dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Begitu juga dalam menerapkan model pembelajaram PBL ini, selain harus kreatif, inovatif dan sabar, guru juga harus menyiapkan materi seringkas mungkin dan menyiapkan masalah-masalah yang dapat merangsamg siswa agar semangat dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam berubah seiring dengan perkembangan zaman, hal ini dapat disebut dengan pendidikan Islam kontemporer. Pendidikan Islam di era globalisasi menghadapi beberapa tantangan dan masalah yang perlu diatasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan tujuan mendeskripsikan serta menguraikan problematika pendidikan Islam beserta solusinya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan (library research). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa problematika pendidikan Islam mencakup: problematika yang berada di lingkungan sekolah, rumah, maupun masyarakat. Seperti: perilaku yang bertentangan dengan pendidikan karakter dalam lembaga pendidikan, tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan yang kurang professional, kurangnya perhatian orang tua terhadap pendidikan anak, kurangnya kesadaran menjalankan ajaran agama dan peran setiap individu dengan baik. Adapun solusi dari problematika, di antaranya adalah: Melakukan pendekatan edukatif yang tepat dan didukung oleh keteladanan nyata dari pendidik, menanamkan nilai-nilai agama dalam keluarga, serta menjalin komunikasi yang baik serta saling menasihati dalam kebaikan dan kesabaran.
