Abstract

This article explores the role of interfaith collaboration in shaping social harmony through moderate Islamic education practices in Malang City, Indonesia. Focusing on the Forum for Religious Harmony (FKAUB), this qualitative case study investigates the strategic use of social action and conflict resolution to build religious harmony in a multicultural urban society. Drawing on data collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis, the study reveals that FKAUB’s approach is grounded in inclusivity, active listening, and educational outreach. These strategies not only mitigate religious tensions but also foster long-term interfaith understanding. Findings show that religious moderation, when translated into concrete social actions, can be an effective model for peacebuilding. The study concludes that FKAUB’s initiatives represent a replicable model for other pluralistic communities seeking to navigate religious diversity through collaborative and educational means.

Abstract

This study examines Moderate Islamic Education in a multicultural society in Banjar Jematang, Dauh Puri Kauh Village, West Denpasar, Denpasar City. Using a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach and data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation, this study deeply analyzes the conditions and construction of moderate Islamic education in responding to religious and cultural diversity. The results of the study indicate that the conditions of community acceptance are very positive, where moderate Islamic education is considered essential for fulfilling spiritual-moral needs and developing a tolerant character. Furthermore, this educational construction has been proven to be effective in forming a balanced and inclusive mindset, which is a fundamental foundation for the creation of a harmonious, integrated social environment that respects pluralism. This indicates that moderate Islamic Education is considered vital and appreciated by the community because it is effective in forming a tolerant character and an inclusive mindset, which is the foundation for social harmony and pluralism

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve children's understanding of Islamic law through demonstration as a practical and applicable learning approach. The background of this activity stems from the low ability of children to understand and practice worship in accordance with Islamic law, especially in aspects of fiqh such as wudhu, prayer, and tayamum. The method used is Service Learning (SL) with stages of planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up. In the planning stage, a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) was held with the community to identify needs and design an appropriate form of assistance. The activity was carried out every day (except Sunday) with a lecture, discussion, and demonstration approach so that participants were active, effective, and enthusiastic in learning. The results of the activities showed significant improvements in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects of the participants. Based on the evaluation data, the average score of the participants increased from 75.37 in the pre-test to 89.21 in the post-test. The children showed high motivation to learn, active participation, and improved practical worship skills. Full support from the community and parents reinforced the success of this program and encouraged the formation of a collective awareness of the importance of early Islamic legal education. This activity contributed significantly to building a knowledgeable, skilled, and Islamic-minded young generation. This success became the basis for developing similar programs on an ongoing basis and forming religious learning communities at the community level.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the competence and innovation of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers in order to develop professional teachers who are adaptable to developments in modern education. The main challenges faced by PAI teachers today are limitations in utilizing learning technology, low innovation in teaching methods, and the need to adapt to the Merdeka Curriculum paradigm, which demands active and student-centered learning. The activity was carried out using a service learning approach, which is a learning-based community service model that integrates academic activities with direct community service. The activity was carried out in five stages: identification of partner needs, program planning, training and mentoring, reflection-evaluation, and follow-up. The participants were seven PAI teachers from partner schools who took part in a series of workshops, coaching clinics, and hands-on practice in creating digital technology-based learning media. The results of the activity showed a significant improvement in the pedagogical and professional competencies of teachers, especially in their ability to design interactive media and apply creative learning models such as Project-Based Learning. Teachers became more confident and motivated to innovate in religious education in the classroom. In addition, a community of innovative PAI teachers was formed as a forum for collaboration and continuous professional development. This activity proved that the service-learning approach is effective in connecting academic theory with educational practice in the field. Through this training, PAI teachers were able to transform themselves into reflective, creative, and professional educators, while strengthening the role of universities in empowering the educational community.

Abstract

This research article aims to describe the poem "Aku Manusia" by KH. Musthofa Bisri and its implications for Islamic education. The research method used is literature research by reviewing several literature and analyzing substantively with experts. The results of this study show that the poetry collection book entitled "I am Human" has Islamic educational values that can be applied in everyday life, namely the value of piety, social values, and moral education values. This book of poetry collection I am Human shows that literary works can also be used as a medium for da'wah and learning media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyelidiki internalisasi nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam moderat untuk menumbuhkan kerukunan sosial dalam komunitas sekolah yang beragam di SMA Negeri 1 Porong, Indonesia. Dalam masyarakat multikultural, pendekatan moderat sangat penting untuk mengatasi potensi konflik. Studi ini mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai kunci—tawwāssuth (kesederhanaan), ta'adul (keadilan), dan tawāzzun (keseimbangan)—yang tertanam dalam pendidikan agama, menggunakan tahapan transformasi nilai Muhaimin: transinformasi, transaksi, dan transinternalisasi. Pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Para pemangku kepentingan, termasuk pemimpin sekolah, guru, siswa, orang tua, dan masyarakat, secara kolaboratif menciptakan lingkungan yang inklusif, dengan inisiatif seperti Literasi Jumat yang mempromosikan nilai-nilai ini. Temuan ini menawarkan wawasan teoretis dan panduan praktis untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam moderat dalam pendidikan, yang berfungsi sebagai model untuk menumbuhkan kerukunan dalam masyarakat yang beragam.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate and analyze Jalaluddin Rumi's teachings on religious moderation and Islamic education within his Sufi tradition. A qualitative method was utilized in this study, including library study, field observations, and interviews with individuals involved in Islamic education at Pesantren. The findings revealed that Jalaluddin Rumi did not explicitly discuss the concept of religious moderation. Instead, he devoted his life to propagating Sufi values and attitudes closely aligned with Islamic beliefs, mystical knowledge (marifat), and sharia as elements of religious moderation. The values of religious moderation conveyed in Rumi's works include compassion (rahmat), humility (tawadhu), excellence (ihsan), forgiveness, mutual respect, tolerance, and peace. This study, conducted at Pesantren Raudhatul Mutta'alamin in Lamongan, illustrated the significant relevance of Jalaluddin Rumi's Sufi teachings to advancing Islamic education and promoting religious moderation in Indonesia.

Abstract

Pelayanan merupakan bagian penting dalam dunia usaha restoran. Dalam pemesanan makanan memiliki permasalahan pembeli harus memesan makanan secara manual dengan menulis pesanan dan palayan harus berjalan untuk mengantarkan makanan. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut dibuatlah alat yang dapat memesan dan mengantarkan makanan menuju meja pelanggan secara otomatis dengan menggunakan mikrokontroler arduino. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development yang dimulai study literature, perancangan dan pembuatan alat, pengujian alat, dan pengambilan data. robot line follower sebagai pengantar pesanan dan pemesanan menggunakan LCD 20x4 kemudian menggunakan arduino untuk mengendalikan alat tersebut. Penelitian ini menghasilkan robot yang dapat mengantarkan menu makanan dan pesanan menuju 4 meja tujuan dengan mengikuti lintasan berupa garis berwarna hitam. Waktu yang ditempuh untuk menuju ke meja 2, 3 dan 4 lebih lama dibandingkan menuju ke meja pertama karena perbedaan panjang lintasan dan prototipe robot pemesan dan pengantar makanan dapat berjalan sebanyak 267 putaran dalam waktu 1 jam dengan membutuhkan tegangan sebesar 0.13 volt dilintasan melingkar denangan panjang garis 200 cm.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the increase and comparison of students ` learning outcomes through the use of mobile learning-based recitation methods. We know that mobile learning is an online medium that can be used all the time. This method of study used quasi for using test paired sample t-test. The results showed that there was influence of learning methods based on mobile learning recitation of the student learning outcomes where the value of Thitung 8.913 is greater than the level of significance 5% (2.778) and 1% (3.435), the value of probability 0.000 < 0.05, of these values, show that the influence of the learning method of a mobile learning Recitation is based on the "huge" learning outcomes.

Abstract

Transformative learning based on andragogy is an approach that focuses on learners' independence in understanding and applying knowledge contextually. This study aims to analyze the concept, implementation, supporting and inhibiting factors, as well as the impact of transformative learning based on andragogy at Pondok Pesantren Tarbiyatul Muthathowi’in. The research method used is a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document studies. The results indicate that the andragogical approach in this pesantren has successfully enhanced students' intellectual ability in critical and analytical thinking, strengthened their character in terms of independence and leadership, and increased their spiritual awareness through reflective and applicative learning experiences. The main supporting factors in implementing this model include a conducive pesantren environment, support from kyai and Ustadz, and the integration of technology in learning. However, several challenges remain, such as limited facilities and resistance to changes in teaching methods. Therefore, a more systematic strategy is needed to enhance the effectiveness of this learning model, including teacher training, provision of adequate learning facilities, and the integration of pesantren curriculum with the formal education system. Abstrak Pembelajaran transformatif berbasis andragogi merupakan pendekatan yang berfokus pada kemandirian peserta didik dalam memahami dan menerapkan ilmu pengetahuan secara kontekstual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep, implementasi, faktor pendukung dan penghambat, serta dampak penerapan pembelajaran transformatif berbasis andragogi di Pondok Pesantren Tarbiyatul Muthathowi’in. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, serta studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan andragogi di pesantren ini telah berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan intelektual santri dalam berpikir kritis dan analitis, memperkuat karakter santri dalam aspek kemandirian dan kepemimpinan, serta meningkatkan kesadaran spiritual melalui pengalaman belajar yang reflektif dan aplikatif. Faktor pendukung utama dalam penerapan model ini meliputi lingkungan pesantren yang kondusif, dukungan kiai dan Ustadz, serta integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Namun, masih terdapat beberapa hambatan, seperti keterbatasan fasilitas dan resistensi terhadap perubahan metode pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi yang lebih sistematis untuk meningkatkan efektivitas model pembelajaran ini, baik melalui pelatihan pengajar, penyediaan sarana yang memadai, maupun integrasi kurikulum pesantren dengan sistem pendidikan formal.
