Abstract

Di era Internet of Things (IoT) yang semakin berkembang, Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) berperan penting dalam menghubungkan perangkat, memfasilitasi pertukaran data, dan menghemat sumber daya. Namun, WSN masih menghadapi tantangan operasional, seperti pengumpulan data sensor yang luas, operasional dengan energi terbatas, dan adaptasi dengan dinamika lingkungan yang berubah. Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi protokol Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector (AODV) bersama ESP-NOW pada mikrokontroler ESP32, dengan tujuan utama meningkatkan efisiensi operasional WSN. Metode pengujian yang digunakan melibatkan pengujian dalam berbagai kondisi WSN, baik untuk node statis maupun dinamis, di lingkungan dengan dan tanpa hambatan fisik, untuk mengevaluasi kinerja AODV secara menyeluruh. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan komunikasi antar-node sebesar 86,6%, menandakan potensi signifikan dari integrasi ESP32 dan ESP-NOW dalam implementasi AODV di WSN. Penelitian ini penting karena membantu dalam mengatasi tantangan operasional dalam Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) yang merupakan bagian integral dari IoT, dan kontribusinya terletak pada pengembangan dan implementasi protokol AODV dengan ESP-NOW pada ESP32, yang berpotensi meningkatkan efisiensi dan adaptabilitas WSN, sehingga mendukung perkembangan dan peningkatan aplikasi IoT di masa depan.   Abstract   In the rapidly evolving era of the Internet of Things (IoT), Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) play a crucial role in connecting devices, facilitating data exchange, and conserving resources. However, WSNs continue to face operational challenges, such as extensive sensor data collection, limited energy operation, and adaptation to changing environmental dynamics. This study examines the implementation of the Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector (AODV) protocol in conjunction with ESP-NOW on the ESP32 microcontroller, primarily aiming to enhance the operational efficiency of WSNs. The testing methodology employed involves trials under various WSN conditions, for both static and dynamic nodes, in environments with and without physical obstacles, to comprehensively evaluate the performance of AODV. The results show a successful inter-node communication rate of 86.6%, indicating the significant potential of integrating ESP32 and ESP-NOW in the AODV implementation within WSNs. This research is important as it helps in addressing the operational challenges in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN), which are an integral part of IoT, and its contribution lies in the development and implementation of the AODV protocol with ESP-NOW on ESP32, which has the potential to enhance the efficiency and adaptability of WSNs, thereby supporting the development and improvement of IoT applications in the future.

Abstract

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), one of the United Nations' bodies tasked with evaluating climate change science, has reported that humans have experienced temperatures 1.2 degrees Celsius higher than usual, and in the past decade, sea levels have risen almost three times. One of the solutions to this issue is to implement environmentally friendly construction. Asrama Al-Hikam Depok is one of the ongoing construction projects, and this research will examine whether this project applies environmentally friendly construction in its planning. Therefore, it is necessary to identify green building criteria for this dormitory's construction. The method used to identify green building criteria is the Greenship New Building Ver 1.2 method, and the cost estimate is calculated using the latest AHSP method. The results of the criteria achieved by the Asrama Al-Hikam Depok project received a score of 36 out of 101 points, or 36% of the criteria achieved. There are several criteria that can be recommended to increase the rating, provided that the criteria are applied to the building, and of course, there is an additional cost from the initial building budget. The conclusion of this research is that the Greenship rating achieved at the Asrama Al-Hikam Depok project is a bronze rating and can be raised to a silver rating by applying six criteria: Make a statement for temperature and humidity surveys; have a solid construction waste management SOP; have a liquid construction waste management SOP; add lux sensors to workspaces; install CO2 and exhaust sensors in the multipurpose room; install solar panels. The additional cost that can raise the rating of this building by one level above the achieved rating is Rp. 12,298,330.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the k-value on K nearest neighbor classification. k-value is the distance used to find the closest data to label the class from the testing data. Each k-value can produce a different class label against the same testing data. The variants of k-value that we use are k=3, k=5 and k=7 to find the best k-value. There are 2 classes that are used in this research. Both classes are stairs descent and floor classes. The gray level co-occurrence matrix method is used to extract features. The data we use comes from videos obtained from the camera on the smart wheelchair taken by the frame. Refer to the results of our tests, the best k-value is obtained when using k=7 and angle 0° with accuracy is 92.5%. The stairs descent detection system will be implemented in a smart wheelchair

Abstract

on maps. In general, the map can only be used by users who are can see visually and blind people have difficulty reading the map because there is no map for the visual impairment in 3D. This map has the advantage of being printable so that it is easy to understand and use for blind users. Amid the development of the map, the authors developed a 3D interactive map design that can accommodate the needs of blind users. This development is generated from DSM data through aerial surveys using drones altered to produce a smoother surface so that it can be reconstructed into a 3D design and analysis of the level of texture density and the level of conformity to the real or original shape and reconstruction using aims to improve and model. Shape to fit the 3-dimensional printing process. The voice module is installed using the RFID Tag identification that is embedded in the 3D map and the RFID Reader in the user's hand, with voice data processing. This innovation that has been developed has the advantage of having a 3-dimensional shape that can be felt, texture, shape, and height equipped with braille-shaped markings that are specially made using Riglet for easy reading and sound as a support to improve the blind's people spatial understanding and spatial literacy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis empat berita terkait larangan permintaan Tunjangan Hari Raya (THR) kepada pemerintah dan pengusaha oleh Gubernur Jawa Barat, Dedi Mulyadi, menggunakan analisis wacana kritis model Teun A. Van Dijk. Model ini mengkaji struktur makro, superstruktur, dan struktur mikro dalam teks berita. Struktur makro menyoroti tema utama tentang pencegahan pungutan liar dan penegakan integritas pemerintahan. Superstruktur menunjukkan pola penyajian berita yang sistematis, dari pemaparan larangan hingga urgensi kebijakan. Struktur mikro menyoroti pemilihan kata dan kalimat yang memperkuat sikap tegas pemerintah terhadap praktik permintaan THR yang tidak sah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis wacana. Data diperoleh dari empat berita yang dianalisis berdasarkan model Van Dijk untuk memahami bagaimana teks berita dikonstruksi serta dipengaruhi oleh konteks sosial dan ideologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keempat berita membangun narasi yang memperkuat legitimasi kebijakan Dedi Mulyadi dalam menegakkan pemerintahan yang bersih. Penyajian fakta yang jelas, kutipan langsung, serta gaya bahasa tegas menunjukkan bagaimana media membentuk persepsi publik terhadap isu ini. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan lebih dalam tentang bagaimana teks berita diproduksi dan mempengaruhi pemahaman masyarakat terhadap fenomena sosial yang diberitakan. Abstract

Catfish (Clarias batrachus) is a widely consumed food source in Indonesia, making its cultivation an essential aspect of the aquaculture industry. During the cultivation phase, catfish seeds, typically ranging from 2 to 10 cm in length, are sorted by size and counted. Conventional methods employed by seed sellers, including manual hand-counting, measuring cups, and weighing scales, are often labor-intensive and prone to inaccuracies. To enhance efficiency and reduce counting errors, this study proposes an automated catfish seed counting system. The system is designed to rapidly and accurately classify catfish seeds into three size-based categories while simultaneously counting them. A Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) is implemented to ensure concurrent processing, enabling the detection of seeds passing through three independent sensor lines. The proposed system utilizes three infrared sensors for seed detection, an LCD for real-time result display, and an RTOS deployed on an Arduino Uno platform. RTOS executes four tasks: three sensor reading tasks corresponding to each detection line and an idle task for displaying results. Experimental validation, conducted using 40 catfish seeds across 15 trials, demonstrates the system’s effectiveness, achieving an average counting accuracy of 97%. These findings indicate the potential of the proposed system to improve the precision and efficiency of catfish seed counting in aquaculture operations.

Abstract

Latihan angkat beban memerlukan teknik dan postur yang tepat untuk mencegah cedera, terutama bagi pemula. Salah satu solusi untuk memantau kualitas gerakan adalah penggunaan wearable device dengan sensor dan model machine learning. Namun, keterbatasan data pelatihan dapat menurunkan kemampuan generalisasi model. Penelitian ini mengusulkan pendekatan Federated Learning (FL) untuk melatih model secara kolaboratif di beberapa client dengan data lokal yang bervariasi. Komunikasi antara edge device dan client didukung oleh protokol MQTT, sementara simulasi federated learning dilakukan menggunakan framework Flower dengan Virtual Client Engine (VCE). Fokus penelitian meliputi perbandingan performa model FL dan model lokal, evaluasi klasifikasi gerakan standing bicep curl, serta pengujian performa protokol MQTT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model FL memiliki akurasi rata-rata lebih tinggi dibanding model lokal, yaitu 92,013%, sedangkan sistem klasifikasi gerakan real-time mencapai 95% akurasi. MQTT menunjukkan keandalan tinggi tanpa packet loss, namun memiliki latensi sebesar 580 ms, yang dapat memengaruhi responsivitas sistem. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar pengembangan sistem pemantauan kebugaran yang lebih akurat, efisien, dan adaptif.
