Abstract

Perilaku konsumtif merupakan perilaku dimana jika seseorang mengalami perilaku konsumtif, mereka mungkin membeli sesuatu hanya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pribadi mereka tanpa mempertimbangkan pentingnya atau manfaatnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat konsumtif mahasiswa Sosiologi FISIP Universitas Riau serta untuk mengetahui gaya hidup hedonis berhubungan dengan perilaku konsumtif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dan teori Konsumsi Jean Baudrillard. Observasi, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data ini. Penelitian ini melibatkan 691 siswa, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel acak sederhana. Dengan menggunakan rumus slovin yang diperoleh sebanyak 87 responden. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa 18 responden (20,7%) memiliki gaya hidup hedonis tinggi, 37 responden (42,5%) memiliki gaya hidup hedonis sedang, dan 32 responden (36,8%) memiliki gaya hidup hedonis rendah. Lebih lanjut, 42 responden (48,3%) memiliki perilaku konsumtif tinggi, tujuh responden (8%) memiliki perilaku konsumtif sedang, dan 38 responden (43,7%) memiliki perilaku konsumtif rendah. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa nilai Sig. (2-Tailed) adalah sebesar 0,000 (0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa gaya hidup hedonis memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan perilaku konsumtif. Ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin hedonis gaya hidup seseorang, semakin konsumtif mereka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi metode pengukuran dan pengendalian suhu dalam furnace yang digunakan untuk proses pemanasan baja mentah, dengan tujuan memastikan suhu yang diukur di setiap zona furnace dapat dikontrol dan dipertahankan pada tingkat yang optimal untuk pembakaran. Pengukuran suhu dilakukan dengan menggunakan sensor termokopel tipe K yang ditempatkan di tiga zona utama furnace, yaitu zone 1, zone 2A, dan zone 2B. Sensor termokopel dipilih karena memiliki kemampuan untuk mengukur suhu dalam rentang yang luas, dari -200 °C hingga 1250 °C, serta ketahanannya terhadap suhu tinggi, respon cepat, dan akurasi pengukuran yang tinggi dengan kesalahan kurang dari 1 °C. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa suhu di zone 1 mencapai 746,7 °C, di zone 2A mencapai 937,0 °C, dan di zone 2B mencapai 877,4 °C. Meskipun sensor termokopel mampu memberikan hasil yang akurat, suhu yang terukur belum mencapai standar yang dibutuhkan untuk pembakaran baja yang optimal, yaitu 1150 °C di zone 1 dan 1250 °C di zone 2A dan 2B. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penyesuaian lebih lanjut dalam pengaturan furnace untuk mencapai suhu yang diinginkan. Untuk memfasilitasi pengendalian suhu, penelitian ini juga menggunakan sistem kontrol PID yang terintegrasi dengan Human Machine Interface (HMI). Sistem ini memungkinkan pemantauan suhu secara real-time dan memberikan kemudahan dalam melakukan penyesuaian suhu sesuai kebutuhan. Dengan kontrol yang tepat, proses pembakaran dalam furnace dapat dilakukan secara maksimal, yang berpotensi meningkatkan efisiensi energi dan kualitas produk baja yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam pengembangan metode pengukuran dan kontrol suhu yang lebih efektif dalam industri metalurgi.

Abstract

Jaringan distribusi merupakan jalur pembagi energi listrik yang umum di pakai terutama di Indonesia. Dengan zaman yang terus berkembang maka pasokan listrik semakin meningkat, maka perlu adanya pembangunan jaringan distribusi baru untuk menunjang banyaknya konsumen, kemudian dalam pembuatan jaringan distribusi tentu aspek pengaman dalam pembangunan perlu diperhatikan seperti tahanan isolasi dari material yang dipakai, banyak sekali alat yang dibuat untuk menunjang bagian proteksi jaringan distribusi dan salah satunya adalah FCO (Fuse Cut Out). Dengan pengujian secara langsung dari beberapa sampel, terdata nilai resistansi dari FCO dan dengan standar PUIL hasil dari pengujian tersebut dibandingkan untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakannya, lalu terbukti dari nilai minimum sampel yaitu 259 G?, dan data tersebut 897 kali lebih layak dari yang seharusnya standarisasi PUIL yaitu 0,288 G?.

Abstract

This research is included in a quantitative research that aims to determine the relationship between intelligence and the learning outcomes of Basic Electronic Engineering (DTE) majoring in Electronic Engineering (TE) at SMKN 1 Cikande. The type of research used is correlation with data collection methods including questionnaires, observations and learning outcome tests. The stages in the study consist of 3 stages. The first stage of testing questionnaire items and learning outcome tests involved 3 experts, the second stage was a trial conducted on grade X students majoring in Electronics Engineering (TE) at SMKN 4 Kota Serang and the third stage of direct research of 36 respondents in grade X students majoring in Electronics Engineering (TE) at SMKN 1 Cikande. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The conditional analysis test consists of a normality test and a linearity test. Then the hypothesis test carried out consisted of a simple regression analysis. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that there was a relationship between spiritual intelligence and learning outcomes with a significance value of 0 < 0.05 and a relationship level of 32%.

Abstract

Motivation for studetns in learning is due to the lack of attractive interactive learning media that makes students easy to underatand the material in class so that students have difficulty understanding the material presented by the teacher. The purpose of the study is to develop educational games as media on basic subjects of electricity and electronics and proxy tests on learning media based on student responses. The subjects of this study is an X class of electrical engineering at SMK public school of 4 serang cities of 21 people as responders. Research and development (RD) and use the waterfall model as a stage for developing the software. The development model consists of 5 stages, whoch are (1) analyses and rems, (2) system design and software, (3) implementation and testing of units, (4) integration and testing of system, (5) operations and maintenance. Studies show that an average value of 48,8 from student responses. Where as the results of the material worthiness show an average value of 51,7 with a range of scores x ≥ 45 “most appropriate”, 45 x ≥ 37,5 “appropriate” and x 30 “not appropriate”. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that android based educational games are based on basic subjects of electricity and electronics can be made into interactive learning media in the classroom with the “Most Appropriate” category of student responses as well as material tests and media

Abstract

This study investigates energy efficiency challenges during laboratory activities. Inefficient energy use in the practicum phase remains a critical issue, prompting the exploration of innovative forecasting models. This research employs artificial neural network (ANN) models integrated with principal component analysis (PCA) to predict energy consumption and optimize usage. The findings reveal that PCA components, including eigenvalues, eigenvectors, and matrix covariance values, significantly influence the ANN model's performance in forecasting energy production. The ANN training achieved a high correlation coefficient (R=1) with a mean squared error (MSE) of 0.045931 after 200,000 epochs, demonstrating the model's robustness. While testing results showed a moderate correlation (R=0.46169), the models demonstrated potential for refinement and scalability. This integration of ANN and PCA models provides a reliable framework for accurately forecasting energy usage, offering an effective strategy to enhance energy efficiency in laboratory settings. By optimizing energy consumption, this approach has the potential to reduce operational costs and environmental impact. The strong performance metrics highlight the practical utility of these models in educational contexts, contributing to sustainable energy management and better resource allocation. Furthermore, the reduction in energy-related environmental impacts underscores the broader applicability of these models for fostering sustainable development in similar contexts.

Abstract

Fire is a disaster that cannot be predicted and often has a significant impact on human life, both materially and non-materially. Fires are usually detected only after they have grown large, resulting in unavoidable losses. Various factors, such as short circuits in electrical networks, LPG gas leaks, and human negligence, are the main causes of fires. In this situation, an early detection system that provides real-time information is needed to minimize the impact of the fire. This study aims to design a prototype of a Multisensor Fire Detection System Based on the Internet of Things (IoT) that integrates a flame sensor, MQ-2 gas sensor, and DHT22 temperature sensor with the Blynk application to provide real-time notifications. This system is also equipped with an LCD for warning display and a buzzer as an alarm. The prototype has been tested in a controlled environment that simulates fire conditions, including gas leaks and high temperatures, with several trials conducted to verify its reliability. The results showed that the system could detect fire at a maximum distance of 100 cm, hazardous gas concentrations starting from 600 ppm, and temperatures exceeding 35°C as the threshold for fire detection. However, its performance may be affected in environments with high humidity levels or areas with poor network connectivity. With effective integration of hardware and software, this prototype helps users detect potential fires at an early stage and minimize the risk of fire-related losses

Abstract

The integration of digital technology in higher education has accelerated the need for innovative pedagogical approaches that foster active learning and digital competence. Project-Based Learning (PjBL) supported by e-learning provides authentic, technology-driven experiences that are particularly valuable in vocational education, where students must connect theory with practice. This study examined the effect of PjBL using e-learning on student learning outcomes in vocational education courses at the Department of Information Technology Education, Universitas Negeri Surabaya. A quasi-experimental pretest–posttest control group design was employed with 64 purposively selected undergraduate students from the 2024/2025 academic cohort. Participants were assigned equally to an experimental group (n = 32), which received PjBL integrated with e-learning, and a control group (n = 32), which received conventional lecture-based instruction. Data were collected through pretests and posttests and analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent samples t-test, and effect size calculations. Findings revealed that the experimental group achieved significantly higher posttest scores (M = 84.63, SD = 5.21) compared to the control group (M = 76.88, SD = 6.02). The independent samples t-test confirmed the significance of the difference (t = 5.67, p < 0.001), while Cohen’s d (d = 1.32) indicated a large effect size. These results demonstrate that integrating PjBL with e-learning substantially improves learning outcomes in vocational education. In conclusion, PjBL supported by e-learning offers an effective instructional strategy for enhancing problem-solving, higher-order thinking, and active student engagement. The findings suggest that aligning pedagogy with digital platforms can optimize learning effectiveness and strengthen students’ readiness for professional challenges.

Banten Tour Mandiri is a tour and travel service provider, the need for internet use in companies is very much needed so that services in the service sector can be carried out comfortably and effectively. This study aims 1. To design a remote system using port knocking to monitor and supervise internet network access at PT. Banten Tour Mandiri. 2. Overseeing the internet network at PT. Banten Tour Mandiri. 3. Make it easier for companies to manage, supervise when using the existing internet network in the corporate environment. To develop the stability of the existing internet network, but there are several things that have not been considered and implemented, namely security and supervision of the internet network, it is necessary to have a network security system that simplifies security and supervision, by performing the Secure Shell (SSH) Port Security Design Port Knocking Method At PT. Banten Tour Mandiri. The results of this study show that the administrator has successfully performed remote access to the internet network server using the SSH port. Monitoring and management of internet network security can be done using a different PC located in the PT. Banten Tour Mandiri

Abstract

Diera digitalisasi pemanfaatan teknologi sangat memegang peran penting dalam penyampain informasi kepada masyarakat. Pengabdian pada masyarakat merupakan salah satu kegiatan tridarma perguruan tinggi yang merupakan salah satu bentuk pengabdian dosen dan mahasiswa kepada masyarakat kegiatan ini dilaksanakan didesa padarincang dan pabuaran. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dengan mengkalaborasikan kegiatan yang diadakan oleh dosen dengan kelompok KKM 18 Untirta. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah bagaimana memanfaatkan teknologi sebagai edukasi dan inofasi pengembangan masyarakat di masa pandemi covid 19. Ada 5 kegiatan yang dilaksanakan diantaranya Membagikan masker dan poster tentang protokol kesehatan, Video Tubing, Pembuatan Konten Inovasi Tanaman Hidroponik, Webinar dan Pemasangan Banner ,dari 5 kegiatan tersebut Video Konten Inovasi tanaman hidroponik lebih diminati dimasyarakat sekitarnya. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian di padarincang dan pabuaran adalah mengetahui minat dari masyarakat sekitar tentang pemanfaatan teknologi dimasa pandemic covid 19. Metode yang diterapkan dalam pemanfaatan teknologi sebagai edukasi dan inovasi pengembangan masyarakat di masa pandemi covid 19, observasi ( dilakukan sebelum kegiatan dilaksanan), wawancara ( dilakukan dengan perangkat desa dan masyarakat sekitarnya), pemanfaatan teknologi dengan melakukan penyuluhan secara daring (YouTube, Twitter, Instagram dan Facebook.). Dari 5 kegiatan tersebut pembuatan Video Konten Inovasi tanaman hidroponik memiliki nilai lebih tinggi yaitu 97% dari kegiatan yang dilaksanakan tingkat keberhasilan lebih tinggi dari kegiatan yang lain
