Abstract

This study is a development research that aims to produce a STEM-based Chemical Bonds SSP devices. The development model used in this study refers to the 4D development model by Thiagarajan, et al, which consists of the definition stage, design stage, development stage, and dissemination stage. The learning device developed are lesson plan, students’ learning materials, LKPD, and THB. The systematic preparation of each component of the SSP device is in accordance with the standard process in Permendikbud Number 22 of 2016. The learning scenario adopts the Problem Based Learning (PBL) syntax on Chemical Bonds materials. The trial of the SSP device was conductedt UPT SMKN 2 Barru with a total of 35 students. The result of expert validation shows that the developed SSP devices are in very valid category with an average value of 3.50. The developed SSP devices meet the very practical criteria with an average value of 90.44. The increase in learning outcomes as evidenced by class completeness which reached 85.71% indicates that these SSP devices are in effective category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the developed STEM-based SSP device products are valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

Student Worksheets are student guides that are used to carry out investigation or problem solving activities. LKPD can be form of a guide to train the development of cognitive aspects or a guide to develop all aspects of learning in the form of an experimental or forced guide. The aim of this research is to identify improvements in student learning outcomes after going through the teaching and learning process using Experiment-based LKPD on acid-base titration material. This research is a quasi-experimental type research with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design research design. The pretest and posttest results are then analyzed to identify improvements in learning outcomes. Apart from that, a t test and n-gain analysis were carried out to see the significance of this increase. The results of this analysis prove that there is a significant increase in the learning outcomes of students majoring in Fishing Ship Nauticals at SMK Negeri 2 Barru

Abstract

High unemployment is a complex problem that requires multidimensional solutions. One potential solution is to encourage entrepreneurial spirit among students. By creating new jobs, students can not only improve their welfare but also make a positive contribution to society. The purpose of this study was to assess the impact of entrepreneurship education and adversity intelligence on entrepreneurial intention, with self-efficacy as a mediating variable. This study used a questionnaire compiled based on the indicators of each variable as an instrument and distributed through Google Forms. A total of 210 participants were obtained from sampling through a non-probability sampling method with a purposive sampling technique. The data obtained were then processed using SmartPLS version 4.0. The results showed that there was a positive and significant effect of entrepreneurship education and adversity intelligence on self-efficacy. In addition, entrepreneurship education and self-efficacy also had a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial intention. Adversity intelligence was shown to have a positive but not significant effect on entrepreneurial intention.

Abstract

These days, artificial intelligence (AI) is regarded as one of the most revolutionary technologies and consequently, its application is evident in various industries, education inclusive. The investigative design in this research utilizes review of literature. The analysis demonstrates that there are aspects that make it more reasonable to integrate artificial intelligence into the learning process, such as increased content diversity and student engagement, deep learning capabilities, and better organizational assistance. Fast and effective adaptive learning systems based on AI can provide appropriate materials and the required level of difficulty to each learner individually, while evaluation systems can automatically assess the knowledge and learning speed of students and relieve cut down the efforts needed by teachers. However, the study also suggests a number of barriers and possible risks, such as privacy issues or lack of privacy regarding students’ data, unfair treatment in AI algorithms, the gap of technology in society, and lack of human beings in the education process. The main point of this particular article is that AI as an ordinary classroom tool is both a source of creativity and a source of problems. The potential of technology to change the educational landscape is immense, but steps on how to achieve it should be gradual and ethical.

Abstract

In an era increasingly dominated by digital technology, the education sector faces the challenge of adapting and utilizing technology to enrich the learning process. This study aims to analyze how madrasahs in Indonesia respond to and implement digital transformation in their educational activities. The research method used is a literature study, where data and information are collected from various sources such as relevant journals, articles, and research reports to find out the best practices and challenges in digital transformation in madrasahs. The results show that madrasahs have adapted technology in their curriculum and teaching methodology, including the use of digital tools in the teaching and learning process, the development of digital competencies for teachers and students, and the implementation of online learning management systems. However, significant challenges were observed in terms of resource availability, such as limited access to adequate technological devices and digital learning materials, as well as the need for teacher training to maximize the use of technology in education.

Abstract

The use of ChatGPT provides new opportunities for students to deepen their understanding of the course materials and overcome the obstacles they may encounter. The study of astronomy itself includes material that studies the universe, but students tend to minimize the related knowledge. The emergence of open AI products is considered a good solution to address the acceleration of specialized student learning in tasks. This research aims to find out whether ChatGPT has benefits for students in completing astronomy lecture assignments at the Muhammadiyah University of Maumere. This is seen from how often students use ChatGPT. The research method used is a mixed method that combines quantitative and qualitative analysis. Quantitative data is obtained from questionnaires which are presented in the form of numerical data, while qualitative data is additional information obtained through conversations between researchers and research sources. Data collection is carried out using an app that is shared with students through Google Forms after ChatGPT is applied to complete college tasks. This type of activity is considered to have excellent benefits for the completion of tasks in education. Based on the research results, it was found that 13 or 65% of the total respondents stated that ChatGPT was very good to use in completing tasks. Apart from that, using ChatGPT was also considered effective in completing astronomy lecture assignments because 50% of students stated that using ChatGPT was very effective in solving astronomy problems, while the other 50% chose only effective. Based on these findings, it is fundamental that ChatGPT has benefits for students to help solve lecture problems and can be a recommendation for other users provided they always pay attention to the ethics of its use.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has brought fundamental changes to the world of education, particularly through the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR/AR). This literature study aims to examine the role and impact of these three technologies in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of learning. The findings reveal that AI enables personalised learning materials, automated assessment, and real-time analysis of students' achievements, making the learning process more responsive and adaptive to individual needs. IoT creates an integrated learning environment, enabling monitoring of learning conditions, optimisation of resources, and improved access and inclusivity. Meanwhile, VR/AR provides immersive learning experiences that strengthen the understanding of abstract concepts, increase learning motivation, and support the development of students' practical skills without real risk. Despite their many potential benefits, the adoption of these three technologies also faces challenges related to infrastructure, digital literacy, data security, and human resource readiness. The integration of AI, IoT, and VR/AR has proven to be a key driver of educational innovation, but a comprehensive implementation strategy is necessary to maximise their impact on improving the quality of education in the digital age.
