Abstract

Seiring dengan peningkatan pertumbuhan ekonomi pasca bencana gempa dan tsunami aceh tahun 2004 mempengaruhi tingkat pertumbuhan warung kopi di kota Meulaboh. Hal ini juga menjadi pendorong meningkatnya jumlah konsumen dan berbagai karakter serta sejumlah latar belakang konsumen penikmat kopi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengelompokan konsumen ke dalam beberapa kategori yang didasari faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan konsumen dalam memilih warung kopi arabika. Penggunaan teknik analisis multivariate dari Principle Component Analysis (PCA) dalam analisis data penelitian dengan tahapan seperti perhitungan matriks korelasi, analisis faktor dan mengestimasi muatan setiap faktor dengan metode estimasi maksimum. Hasil penelitian menunjukan persentase kelima kelompok konsumen warung kopi arabika di Kota Meulaboh ialah penikmat kopi 17,1%, konsumen umum/konvensional 14,2%, konsumen sosialita 13,4%, konsumen trendi 12,8%, konsumen gaya hidup 12,2%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa banyak konsumen memilih warung kopi arabika dikarenakan cita rasa dan kualitas dari kopi yang disajikan, kelompok ini termasuk kedalam orang yang mengerti kopi. Selain kelompok penikmat kopi, warung kopi arabika di Kota Meulaboh juga dikunjungi dari 4 kelompok lainnya seperti konsumen umum yang memilih warung kopi arabika dikarenakan rekan kerja, konsumen sosialita karena hubungan sosial, konsumen trendi karena gengsi dan konsumen gaya hidup dengan alasan brand dan status sosial.

Abstract

Mahasiswa merupakan salah satu komponen penting dalam proses belajar mengajar di dalam sebuah perguruan tinggi. Selain melaksanakan proses belajar, aktivitas lain mahasiswa juga sangat penting dalam berkontribusi untuk meningkatkan mutu akreditasi program studi. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa saja yang dapat dijadikan point-point kontribusi mahasiswa dalam akreditasi program studi. Metode yang digunakan dalam artikel ini berupa ceramah. Dari hasil ceramah tersebut didapatkan hasil yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap mahasiswa yang langsung merealisasikannya berupa kegiatan sosialisasi promosi program studi ke sekolah menengah atas, dan minat mahasiswa dalam mengikuti kompetisi di luar kampus. Maka dari itu, penyampaian sosialisasi kotribusi apa saja yang perlu dilakukan mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan mutu akreditasi program studi merupakan hal yang sangat penting. Hal-hal yang perlu dilakukan mahasiswa yaitu (1) meningkatkan prestasi mahasiswa dalam bidang apapun, (2) memahami visi misi program studi, CPL, CPMK, fasilitas kampus, aturan kampus, (3) Profil lulusan yang bekerja sesuai bidang dan masa tunggu yang tidak lama, (4) Meningkatkan peminat program studi, dan (5) Adanya ikatan keluarga alumnni yang mendukung kinerja program studi.

Abstract

Vertical Clarifier Tank (VCT) has a very crucial role to separate oil, water and sludge by gravity, where oil with a smaller specific gravity of 0.8 grams / cm3 will be in the uppermost layer, while water whose specific gravity is 1 gram / cm3 will be in the middle layer, and sludge with a density of 1.3 grams / cm3 from the Vertical Clarifier Tank (VCT). The experimental design of this study was to determine the appropriate depth of the inlet pipe to obtain low levels of impurities during oil extraction. The results of the study obtained from variations in the depth of 25 cm, 40 cm, 55 cm, and 70 cm inlet pipes used as the inflow of crude oil from Crude Palm Oil with variations in sedimentation time of 100 minutes, 120 minutes, 140 minutes, 160 minutes, 180 minutes, and 200 minutes, obtained the least level of impurities in the Inlet Pipe which has a length of 55 cm with a variable sedimentation time of 200 minutes.

Abstract

PT. Aceh Lampulo Jaya Bahari is a nautical product manufacturer based in the Lampulo fishing port, Banda Aceh, Indonesia. Productivity is a comparison of input and output that indicates how effectively resources are managed and exploited to obtain the best results. High production means there is less likelihood of delays. PT. Aceh Lampulo Jaya Bahari's productivity achievement indicator values fluctuate annually, with some years seeing low or high production.  The purpose of this study is to identify productivity-influencing elements, as well as to estimate the level of labor productivity, production amount, total productivity, and the difference in production amount when processing tuna cubes at PT. Aceh Lampulo Jaya Bahari. This study examines monthly production data from 2023 to determine worker productivity and output. The method is to measure partial and total productivity and then launch monthly productivity changes. The study's findings demonstrate that labor productivity and tuna cube output are higher than number one, indicating productive performance. PT. Aceh Lampulo Jaya Bahari met its production objective of 350 kg per month, with an average total labour productivity of 2.6%. This study advises that firms maintain production consistency and form a network of collaborating partners to ensure raw material availability.

Abstract

The implementation of this training was themed Utilization of Information and Communication Technology-Based Learning Media in Elementary Schools. The purpose of this training is to increase students' awareness of the importance of information and communication technology-based learning media in elementary schools. The training participants were students of SDN Ujong Patihah. The training participants took part in socialization in the form of lectures, discussions, and questions and answers regarding technology-based learning media. The output of this training is to open students' insights as the younger generation who live in the millennial era and in facing the industrial revolution 4.0, it is hoped that this will further improve technology-based learning media. In addition, the younger generation must also have qualified skills or abilities so that they can easily adapt to various technological developments, and not be increasingly left behind and lost in local and global competition. Technological developments have made it easier for the younger generation to learn both online and offline.

Abstract

Community service activities are a medium for delivering science and technology to the community. This community service is carried out by a lecturer in the Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Teuku Umar University. The theme of this community service is the importance of promoting schools in order to increase the number of students during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this community service is to provide an overview to the foundation about the importance of introducing the profile of the foundation to the surrounding community, and as an effort to increase the number of new students at the Makmue Raya Foundation. Participants in this community service are foundation administrators, teachers and students of Madrasah Aliyah (MA) and Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) under the auspices of the Makmue Raya foundation, totaling 83 people. Community service participants participated in the socialization in the form of lectures, discussions and questions and answers about the importance of school promotion during the COVID-19 pandemic. The output of this community service is as basic knowledge about school promotion to foundations, and can introduce school promotion methods during the covid-19 pandemic to foundations.

Abstract

Landslides frequently occur on the Subulussalam Lipat Kajang road segment as a result of heavy rain that lasts for a long time. In addition to landslides, the Subulussalam area is vulnerable to earthquakes because it was once the site of a tectonic earthquake with a magnitude of 6.7 on the Richter scale. The extent of the destruction, as well as the number of victims, was caused by a lack of emergency planning. This research aims to see if the slope conditions are safe when subjected to an earthquake load and if appropriate handling methods can be found based on the soil characteristics at the research site. The slope is considered dangerous after being given an earthquake load of 1.044; according to the results of the safety factor value in the existing condition, sheet pile strengthening is required. The slope has been reinforced with sheet piles and is now in a safe state of 1,940.

Abstract

CV. Rezeki Bersama is a producer of crude coconut oil (CCO) based in Alus-alus Village, Teupah Selatan District, Simeulue Regency, Aceh. CV. Rezeki Bersama employs 15 people at various production stations, including press machines. In practice, this research uses the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method to determine the damage that occurred at the press station of the joint rezeki factory. The FMEA approach is used to assess the likelihood of failure in a manufacturing process, determining its severity, frequency of occurrence, and detectability. This study focuses on collecting machine damage data from January 3 to February 3 2024 and evaluating it to determine the Risk Priority Number (RPN) value which will be used to indicate the priority of repairs needed. This research aims to provide recommendations for repair and prevention of damage in the future, as well as increasing the reliability and efficiency of the company's operations.

Abstract

The existence of a Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) is very important in maintaining the continuity of the clean water treatment process running smoothly and well. Maintenance of clean water distribution machines and equipment is a matter that requires attention because damage to one of the machines or equipment can cause a cessation of processing activities which results in losses for companies and services. Damage to the water distribution machine in PDAM Tirta Mountala is unavoidable and this happens frequently. This happens because the damage is not properly identified, either in preventive maintenance or in anticipating appropriate action. The purpose of this study is to identify the cause of the damage and propose maintenance actions on the clean water distribution pump machine in PDAM Tirta Montala Aceh Besar. The failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) and logic tree analysis (LTA) approaches are used to anticipate this. FMEA is an approach used to identify and analyze potential failures and their consequences. Meanwhile, LTA aims to prioritize each damage mode and carry out reviews and functions, malfunctions so that the damage mode status is not the same. There are eighteen water distribution pump components with the highest damage frequency. Based on the results of the FMEA, five components with the highest RPN or the highest risk were obtained, namely the vane, stuffing box, bearing bracket support, shaft and bearing components. The five components were then analyzed through LTA and maintenance tasks with several proposed actions including repair, component replacement, welding, thermography, and re-measurement with a vibration meter.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the sources of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) hazards at PT. PLN (Persero) Transmisi dan Gardu Induk Meulaboh and to control the risks of OSH hazards at PT. PLN (Persero) Transmisi dan Gardu Induk Meulaboh. Focusing on power transmission, PT. PLN (Persero) Transmisi dan Gardu Induk Meulaboh is always committed to improving the quality and continuity of service to customers. However, considering the high inherent risks in electrical activities, the company realizes the importance of prioritizing safety and health at work (OSH) as an integral part of its operations. Given the high risks associated with electrical activities, this company needs to proactively identify and manage potential hazards that could threaten the safety of workers. Hazard identification, risk assessment, and determining control (HIRADC) are used to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and determine appropriate control measures for those hazards. HIRADC consists of three main stages, namely hazard identification, risk assessment, and hazard control. The results of the hazard and risk identification show that work activities at PT. PLN (Persero) Transmisi dan Gardu Induk Meulaboh contain a number of significant potential hazards including the risk of electric shock, exposure to hazardous chemicals, high noise levels, the potential to be struck by equipment, the risk of leaks, and the danger of fire. The consequences of exposure to these hazards can vary, ranging from minor injuries to fatal injuries. Some control measures that can be taken include the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), the installation of hazard warning signs, and the implementation of safe work procedures.
