Abstract

Boarding house is temporary house rent by a settled foreigner or someone who stays a way from home. Someof unhasy students from outside the city find some difficulties to get information about the boarding house, they haveto come and compare it. It makes them confused to select the best boarding house. Therefore, it is necesssary to presenta system on selecting a boarding house in order to help the students. The system implements MAUT method with several criteria related to finding the best boarding house. Thesuperiority of the MAUT method is able to process data from multiple criteria which have different attributes. Asanother DSS method, MAUT is only able to solve the problem of semi-structured and non-structured.The system work by searching the result of total evaluation on every boarding house based on the determinedcriteria and alternative clasification. As the result, the system shows the best boarding house to be recomended. the comparison between system and manual calculation gets 100 % accuration. This proves that the MAUT method hasbeen successfully applied to the system, and able to give recomendation the best boarding house based on the specificcriteria above.Keyword : boarding house, decision supporting system, MAUT, Information System

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus can have a long-term impact in the form of disorders in blood vessels, both macrovascular and microvascular, which can result in a decrease in quality of life encompassing physical, psychological, social, and environmental aspects. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Diabetes foot management education using audiovisual media on the quality of life of Diabetes Mellitus patients. This study employs a quantitative research method, specifically a pre-experimental design, utilizing the one-group pretest-posttest design (pretest-posttest in one group). Samples were obtained using a purposive sampling technique, totaling 50 patients with Diabetes Mellitus at the Internal Medicine Polyclinic of Fatmawati Hospital. The results of the study found that the average value of the respondents' quality of life before treatment was 91.44, with a variation of 6.689. The average value of the respondents' quality of life after treatment was 92.62, with a variation of 6.661. Based on the results of the paired t-test, this study showed an improvement in the quality of life of the respondents after being given education through audiovisual media, with a value of p=0.002. It is hoped that the educational video on diabetes foot management in this study can be used as an educational medium in providing nursing interventions related to efforts to improve the quality of life of Diabetes Mellitus patients.

Abstract

This study intends to explore the concept and implementation of beyond budgeting in an era where environmental change is happening rapidly. The study adopts a systematic literature review from various articles and information from Internet sites. This study states that the dynamics of rapid environmental change have caused the traditional budget function to become suboptimal, so alternative budgeting methods with other methods have been implemented, for example, through the concept of better budgeting and beyond budgeting. Furthermore, the new concept developed is beyond budgeting because this concept provides freedom for capable people from top-down performance contracts with certain restrictions to obtain adequate resources to consistently increase the company's profitability.

Abstract

Candi Tinggi is an archaeological site located in Jambi, Indonesia, and is an important part of the cultural heritage of the Jambi Malay Kingdom which has a long history. This temple, which is estimated to date from the 7th to 9th centuries AD, is a silent witness to the development of Hindu-Buddhist culture in the Sumatra region. Research on Candi Tinggi not only focuses on archaeological and historical aspects, but also on its influence on the development of culture and identity of the Jambi community to this day. Candi Tinggi was built with a stone structure that is still clearly visible and has carvings that show Indian influences in its design and architecture, reflecting the relationship between the local kingdom and foreign cultures. This study aims to examine in depth the architectural structure, symbolism in the temple reliefs, and its historical context in relation to the Srivijaya Kingdom and surrounding kingdoms. Using qualitative research methods, this study collected data from primary sources in the form of direct observations at the location, as well as secondary data from relevant literature. The results of the study indicate that Candi Tinggi has great significance in the context of religion, politics, and culture during the heyday of Srivijaya. This discovery provides broader insight into Jambi's role as a center of trade and civilization in the past. In addition, this study also identified challenges in the preservation of Candi Tinggi, including threats from urbanization and lack of public awareness of the importance of the historical site. Therefore, more serious conservation efforts are needed to maintain this cultural heritage so that it can be enjoyed by future generations.
