Abstract

This research were conducted using the plant growth regulator treatment plan consists of three threatments (without ZPT, ZPT superior plant growth (hantu), and ZPT gibgrow). Environmental design used was a complete randomized design with six replications. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance and multiple range test DMRT level of 5%. The results obtained are given ZPT hydroponic growing media to improve the growth and yield pakcoy, and ZPT hantu is best to plant growth substances.

Abstract

Well managed waste will improve the quality of the environment and the health of the community, recycling plastic waste by itself helps the government in managing waste, especially management is done professionally and commercially, so that it becomes a profitable business. The solutions offered from the problems faced by partners include providing training in managing waste plastic bottles into imitation flowers, and providing motivation to partners that the products will be marketed by UP2K. through the UP2K, the Unilak leadership policy will be realized to open a market monopoly to sell imitation flower bouquets and souvenirs from plastic bottles of mineral water. Output targets are articles in journals, exposure to activities in online media, increasing partner skills. The method of implementing this PKM activity is among others: Counseling, demonstration, training, mentoring, and evaluation. The results of the activities obtained were counseling about inorganic waste increasing the knowledge of participants 17% - 33%, knowledge of the benefits of used plastic bottles, after activities increased by 17% -25%, and knowledge about changing the shape of used plastic bottles to imitation flowers increased by 67% -83%.

Abstract

This study aims to know effect and find the best concentrate of Hormonik growing regulatory substances the growth and production of plants Pakcoy. The research was carried out in Complete Random design experiments (RAL) with 5 degrees of treatment with 4 replicates with parameters of observation is the height of plants, number of leaves, leaf width and heavy consumption. The data were analyzed statistically observations with prints, when F Count greater than or equal to F table 5%, followed by the test distance double Duncan in standard of 5%. The giving substance to a regulator grew Hormonikcan increase the growth and production of plants Pakcoy, with the best concentration is 4 cc/l water, it is advisable to further research with increased concentrations of Hormonik growing regulatory substances.

Abstract

Research conducted an experiment using a completely randomized design environment with four replications, and the design of treatment used is six varieties of sweet corn. Analysis of data using polynomial regression, the parameters measured were plant height, leaf number, leaf length, leaf width, and sugar beans, followed by analyzing the relationship between the growth of plants with a sugar content of sweet corn kernels. The results showed that leaf width gives a weak relationship to the sugar content of sweet corn seed, and leaf length, number of leaves and plant height had a close relationship to the sugar content of sweet corn kernels.

Abstract

Oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) is one of Indonesia's mainstay plantation commodities and plays an important role for the national economy. Oil palm and plantations managed by state-owned enterprises, this is due to the increasing demand for palm oil in the industrial market. With the continuous development of oil palm plantations so that the provision of seeds should be considered because the success of planting in the field and the production of production is highly dependent on the quality of the seeds of oil palm plants used. Efforts that can be done to accelerate the growth of seeds Main Nursery is to provide NPK fertilizer and growth regulatory substances (ZPT) Hantu that can help the absorption of nutrients and accelerate the growth of vegetative plants. The aim of this research is to get the interaction of ZPT Hantu concentration and NPK fertilizer dosage which give the best influence to the growth of oil palm seed (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) in Main-nursery. The experiment was conducted experimentally with factorial Randomized Design (RAL), consisting of 2 factors ie H factor is ZPT Hantu and N factor is NPK fertilizer (16:16:16) which each consist of 3 levels. Thus obtained 9 treatment combinations with 3 replications. The observed data were analyzed by Duncan's multipoint test and Duncan's multiplexed test of 5%. Test of ZPT Hantu and NPK fertilizer significantly affect the growth of oil palm seedlings in Main Nursery that is on the parameters of seed height, stem diameter, leaf number and leaf area, whereas the combination of both only on bar diameter parameters that gives a real effect, with best treatment is combination giving ZPT Hantu 2 cc / l water and NPK 20 grams / plant.

Abstract

The issue of organic farming lately indeed began to grow back more and more people will realize the importance of health and quality of food consumed. In addition to health reasons, organic farming is also believed to be environmentally friendly because it can minimize the use of chemicals in the production process, due to the use of chemical fertilizers continuously with increasing doses it can cause the soil to be loud and disturbed soil nutrient balance. Market demand for vegetable crops, especially lettuce is usually consumed raw continue to rise, especially lettuce plants are fertilized with organic fertilizer. Land in the city of Pekanbaru classified as land Podsolid Red Yellow (FMD) is organic matter content and nutrient relatively low, then one attempt to overcome this problem is by fertilizing safe for plants and soil is fertilizer bokhasi hyacinth that contains nutrients N , P and K, also take advantage of in the environment that would otherwise be used will cause pollution in the waters. From research conducted bokhasi provision of water hyacinth significantly affect the growth and production of lettuce plants with the best dose is 2000 g / m2.

Abstract

Lettuce plants is one of the vegetables that have commercial value and goodprospects for development, because demand for lettuce plants continues to increasein line with population growth and awareness of nutritional needs and thedevelopment of such culinary business. Red lettuce new red fire red to black curlyleaves, the red if given full sun. This type of lettuce is not widely grown in Riau,when environmental conditions allow, the problem is the type of Ultisol, then toovercome it is to the development of good farming such as the provision of plantgrowth regulator (PGR) Hantu. Hantu PGR containing gibberellic acid, IndolAcetic Acid, Kinetin and Zeatin. The research objective was to determine the effectand get the best Hantu PGR concentration on the growth and production of redlettuce. Research conducted experiments with completely randomized design with 5 level of treatment that is without giving PGR Hantu (H0), the provision of 1 ml / l of water (H1), administration of 2 ml / l of water (H2), giving 3 ml / l water (H3) and the provision of 4 ml / l of water (H4) to four (4) replicates. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance followed by a further test DMRT level of 5%. The results showed that the Hantu PGR can promote the growth and production of red lettuce plants, with the best concentration was 2 ml / l of water.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Caisim merupakan komoditi tanaman sayuran yang dibutuhkan sebagai sumber protein dan vitamin bagi manusia, dan akhir-akhir ini semakin meningkat pula permintaan pasarnya. Berbagai usaha telah dilakukan untuk meningkatkan produksi caisim. Salah satu usaha dalam meningkatkan produksi caisim adalah penggunaan beberapa jenis pupuk organik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan mendapatkan jenis pupuk organik yang terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman caisim. Penelitan dilaksanakan secara eksperimen dengan pola Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan (tanpa pupuk organik, pemberian pupuk organik Herbafarm, BioSugih,Hantudan pupuk organik Elang Biru) dengan 4 kali ulangan, sehingga diperoleh 20 unit percobaan. Sedangkan parameter yang diuji yaitu tinggi tanaman, panjang daun, jumlah daun, berat Konsumsi dan berat layak jual. Ujibeberapa jenis pupuk organik berpengaruh nyata terhadap rata-rata tinggi tanaman, panjang daun, jumlah daun, berat produksi dan berat layak jual tanaman caisim. Pupuk Hantu adalah yang terbaik, kemudian diikuti oleh pupuk organik Elang Biru, Bio Sugih dan Herbafarm. Untuk budidaya caisimdisarankan menggunakan pupuk organik Hantu 2 cc/l air.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian Pengaruh zat pengatur tumbuh (ZPT) telah dilakukan dengan tujuanuntuk mendapatkan ZPT yang baik terhadap pertumbuhan bibit karet stump mata tidur.Penelitian dilaksanakan secara eksperimen dengan memakai Rancangan Acak Lengkap.Perlakuan adalah jenis ZPT yaitu tanpa ZPT, Rootone F, Atonik dan Hormonik dengan5 kali ulangan sehingga diperoleh 20 plot percobaan. Setiap plot percobaan terdiri dari4 tanaman dimana 2 tanaman dijadikan sampel. Data hasil pengamatan dianalisa secarastatistik dengan sidik ragam dan dilanjutkan dengan uji jarak berganda Duncan taraf 5%. Adapun parameter yang diamati adalah panjang tunas, lilit batang, jumlah payung,panjang akar dan jumlah akar.Dari hasil sidik ragam menunjukkan bahwa pemberian ZPT berpengaruh nyatahanya terhadap parameter panjang tunas dan jumlah akar, sedangkan untuk lilit batang,jumlah payung dan panjang akar hasilnya berpengaruh tetapi tidak nyata. Respon bibitkaret stump mata tidur baik terhadap ketiga ZPT (Rootone F, Atonik dan Hormonik)yang digunakan. Disarankan untuk memilih dari salah satu ZPT yang digunakan untukpembibitan karet stump mata tidur.
