Abstract

ABSTRACT Gambier is one commodity that is worth people's plantation economy and prospective for higher developed commercially in the future. Riau Province gambir Subdistrict where producers including the Gambier plantation had the most extensive is a subdistrict of Koto Kampar Kampar Regency acres 4,104 Upstream Research entitled "analysis ofthe Phenotypic variability of Gambir Plant in the village of Tanjung, Kec. Koto Kampar, Kampar Regency of Hulu "has been conducted in March - April 2018, research method using the method of purposive sampling, the samples taken 30 accession later analysis of similarity using the ntsys program ver 2.02. Obtained Results narrow Variability on all character observations. Similarity coefficient gambir accessions ranged from 0.33-0.93. Keywords: Gambir, Variability ,Germplasm, Phenotypic Characterization

Abstract

Red Yellow Podsolic Soil (FMD) is a type of soil that dominates soil conditions in Pekanbaru, PMK soil with low fertility will be a limiting factor in increasing crop production. Melon is a horticultural plant that requires fertile and loose soil. Herbafarm is one of the bioorganic fertilizers that can cover the shortage of PMK land to increase its productivity. The treatment design tested was Herbafarm concentration consisting of H1 = without herbaceous; H1 = herb 2 ml liter-1 water; H2 = 4 ml liter-1 water; H3 = 6 ml liter-1 water; and H4 = 8 ml liter-1 water. The environmental design used is a completely randomized design. Data analysis uses a polynomial regression. Bio Organic Concentration Herbafarm which gives growth and melon yield is 6.8 ml liter-1 water, with an optimal fruit weight of 1683.08 grams.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect and get the best dose of guano fertilizer on the growth of oil palm seedlings in Pre Nursery conducted experimentally with a Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with 5 levels of treatment, 4 replications and 3 plants / plots with observational parameters are seed height, girth and number and leaf area. Observation data were analyzed statistically with variance and continued with Duncan test of 5% level. The application of guano fertilizer has a significant effect on plant height and leaf area, while the number of leaves and stem diameter has no significant effect. The 0.5 kg / polybag guano fertilizer treatment gave the best results to the growth of oil palm seedlings (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) in the pre-nursery.

Abstract

In this study, the inoculation effect of earthworms Pontoscolex corethrurus on celery growth (Apium graveolens L.) has been carried out in red-yellow podzolic (RYP) soils. The research studied in a pot experiment using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 6 (six) treatments and 3 (three) replications. One-pot consists of 4 (four) plants. The treatments carried out were as follows: I0 (without inoculum of earthworm), I1 (inoculum of 5 earthworms pot-1), I2 (inoculum of 10 earthworms pot-1), I3 (inoculum of 15 earthworms pot-1), I4 (inoculum of 10 earthworms pot-1) and I5 (inoculum of 25 earthworms pot-1). Observation parameters were the number of tillers clumps-1, fresh biomass clumps-1 (g clump-1), and root volume (mL). The observations were statistically analyzed using variance (one-way ANOVA) and followed by the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) with a level of 5%. Treatment I5 gave the best results on celery crop in all parameters, i.e., 20.33 tillers per hill; fresh biomass per clump 113.93 g; and a root volume of 10 mL. The results showed that earthworms' inoculation into RYP soils significantly affected all parameters. There was also an increase in pH in each treatment that was inoculated with earthworms.

Abstract

Gambir (Uncaria gambir Hunter Roxb) merupakan salah satu komoditi pertanian yang penting, karena mempunyai nilai ekonomi yang cukup tinggi. Provinsi Riau termasuk penghasil gambir dimana Kecamatan yang memiliki perkebunan gambir paling luas adalah Kecamatan Koto Kampar Hulu Kabupaten Kampar seluas 4.104 Hektar. Petani gambir saat ini belum memanfaatkan secara optimal ampas kempaan daun gambir, padahal ampas kempaan daun gambir dapat diolah menjadi pupuk kompos. Pemahaman tentang pembuatan kompos dari ampas kempaan daun gambir di Desa Tanjung masih sangat minim begitu juga dengan pengetahuan tentang penggunaan pupuk yang mudah, murah dan ramah lingkungan serta kurangnya ketrampilan dalam pembuatan pupuk organik (kompos). Terkait dengan permasalahan tersebut penulis ingin memberikan pemahaman tentang pengolahan ampas kempaan daun gambir, Memberikan ilmu dan pengetahuan tentang pupuk alami yang mudah dibuat, murah dan ramah lingkungan, Memberikan keterampilan dalam pembuatan pupuk organik (kompos) khususnya dari ampas kempaan daun gambir. Pemanfaatan ampas kempaan daun gambir menjadi produk yang bernilai tinggi yaitu pupuk organik (kompos). Diharapkan teknologi ini dapat meningkatkan produksi gambir dan usaha dalam rangka peningkatan ekonomi petani gambir ataupun pengguna teknologi di Desa Tanjung, Kec.Koto Kampar Hulu, Kab. Kampar. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan antara lain penyuluhan pengelolaan ampas kempaan daun gambir, pelatihan pembuatan kompos, pemberian paket teknologi dan evaluasi.

Abstract

The problem faced by partners is limited knowledge about areca nut cultivation technology. Regarding partner problems, a solution to the problem is needed, including improving partners' knowledge and skills regarding areca palm cultivation technology. The method of implementation includes several stages: socialization of var.betara betel nut cultivation, provision of betara areca nut plants, cultivation practices, evaluation and for the sustainability of this program the PKM team will monitor and provide assistance during the activity. Based on the results of the team's monitoring and evaluation, the following conclusions can be drawn: Participants' attendance in the socialization activities adjusted to government regulations during the Pandemic by following health protocols where participants were limited to only a few people. Participants were very active during the activity, where participants showed good enthusiasm and enthusiasm during the discussion about the material provided related to areca var.betara cultivation and the high interest of partners in planting areca nut, indicated by the number of requests for var.betara areca seeds, after the activities of the partners had been carried out. have very satisfying knowledge and understanding to carry out betel nut cultivation activities independently in the future in their respective homes

Abstract

Gambir merupakan salah satu komoditas perkebunan rakyat yang bernilai ekonomi tinggi dan prospektif untuk dikembangkan secara komersial pada masa yang akan datang. Provinsi Riau termasuk penghasil gambir dimana Kecamatan yang memiliki perkebunan gambir paling luas adalah Kecamatan Koto Kampar Hulu Kabupaten Kampar seluas 4.104 Ha. Penelitian sebelumnya terkait variabilitas gambir oleh lidar et al di Desa Tanjung diperoleh hasil keragaman rendah dan variabilitas fenotipik juga rendah. Penelitian lanjutan ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan total sampel 20 aksesi tanaman gambir di Desa Bandur Picak dan Gunung Malelo, analisis kemiripan menggunakan program ntsys ver 2.02, dari hasil analisis diperoleh koefisien kemiripan 0.22-0.89. Penelitian eksplorasi merupakan penelitian dasar yang sangat berguna sebagai database dalam kegiatan pemuliaan tanaman. Kata Kunci : Gambir, Karakterisasi, Keragaman, Plasma Nutfah

Abstract

Plastic bottle waste is one type of inorganic waste that is difficult to decompose naturally. The use of this bottle is increasing and most of it comes from households. This waste if not managed properly will have an impact on the environment, but if used properly it will have added value. This was requested by head mother of RW 01 Bambu Kuning Village, utilizing plastic bottle waste into useful and value-added products. The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of housewives about recycling plastic bottle waste as a planting medium for hydroponic cultivation so that it can contribute to environmental cleanliness. This community service activity is carried out by (ABCD) Asset Based Community Development. This activity involved the Lecturer Team of the Faculty of Agriculture, Lancang Kuning University, hydroponic practitioners and administrators of the women's group in the neighborhood in RW 01, Bambu Kuning Village. This activity succeeded in increasing the knowledge and skills of hoisewives in hydroponic cultivation using bottle waste.

Abstract

Ponpes Darul Mukhlasin Palas- Pekanbaru, Ponpes ini mempunyai lahan kosong yang cukup luas sekitar ±0,5 ha yang merupakan potensi untuk bisa dikembangkan, melalui peningkatan kemandirian pangan. Strategi untuk mewujudkan kemandirian pangan adalah pengembangan penganekaragam pangan. Terkait permasalahan mitra maka dibutuhkan solusi pemecahan masalahnya antara lain : memberikan pembekalan materi dan ketrampilan mitra tentang beternak ayam , Mengolah lahan tidak produktif menjadi lahan produktif untuk beternak. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi praktek praktek beternak ayam, pendampingan. Untuk keberlanjutan program ini tim PKM akan melakukan : Monitoring dan Evaluasi pelaksanaan program. Kesimpulan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Ponpes Darul Mukhlasin untuk beternak ayam 100% didapatkan pencapaian hasil produksi dan tingkat pengetahuan santri akan beternak ayam.Peningkatan ketahanan pangan pondok pesantren perlu dilakukan secara kontinew, beternak ayam kampung menjadi sangat produktif berkelanjutan jika system pertanian terpadu integrasi dengan ikan atau kebutuhan lauk pauk.
