Abstract

Mengenal konsep warna merupakan bagian penting dari perkembangan kognitif anak, terutama pada usia empat tahun. Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi “Bunga Pelangi” sebagai media pembelajaran dalam mengenalkan konsep warna kepada anak-anak di PAUD YALC Pasuruan. “Bunga Pelangi” adalah alat bantu visual berbentuk bunga dengan kelopak berwarna-warni yang dirancang untuk menarik perhatian dan memudahkan anak memahami warna dasar. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi, yang dilakukan dalam tiga siklus. Sepuluh siswa PAUD YALC Pasuruan dipilih sebagai subjek penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara dengan guru, dan penilaian kinerja anak selama proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman konsep warna pada setiap siklus pertandingan, dengan peningkatan rata-rata pemahaman sebesar 25% pada siklus pertama, 45% pada siklus kedua, dan 65% pada siklus ketiga. Berdasarkan skor penilaian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan perangkat pembelajaran “Bunga Pelangi” efektif dalam membantu anak-anak mengenal konsep warna secara umum. Keterbatasan penelitian ini adalah ukuran sampel yang kecil dan pengamatan yang terbatas pada satu PAUD, yang mungkin mempengaruhi generalisasi hasil. Implikasi praktis dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa media “Bunga Pelangi” dapat diadopsi oleh lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini lainnya untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep warna pada anak

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' mathematical problem-solving based on APOS theory on Kolb's learning styles. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The subjects of this study were four students who represented each of Kolb's learning styles. This study's data collection techniques used Kolb's learning styles questionnaire, APOS theory-based problem-solving aptitude test, and unstructured interviews. Data analysis of this research is to reduce data, present data, and draw conclusions. The study results concluded that the subject of assimilator and convergent learning styles could work on problems correctly starting from the action stage, process stage, object stage, and schema stage, although with different problem-solving steps. Subjects with the type of accommodator and diverger learning styles can only solve problems correctly at the action, process, and object stages, while for the schema stage, they have not been able to provide the right solution.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the ability of mathematical representation by utilizing YouTube as a source of learning mathematics. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects were 3 students of class VIII SMPN 1 Bluto who were chosen as research subjects by considering the similarity of mathematical abilities and the results of recommendations from the teacher. Data collection techniques and instruments in this study were tests of mathematical representation abilities and interviews. The data analysis in this study is reduction in the form of processed mathematical representation ability test data, data presentation in the form of mathematical representation ability test data results, and conclusions to describe students' representation abilities using learning resources in the form of youtube and linked to the results of interviews. The results showed that the high-ability representation ability met the three indicators, namely verbal representation, mathematical expression, and visuals. Students who have moderate ability meet the two indicators of mathematical representation ability, namely verbal representation, mathematical expression, but visual representation has not been able to describe.
