Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research was to investigate the effect of learning models on learning achievement viewed from self regulated learning. The learning models compared were cooperative learning model of the TAI type with the snowball drilling method, model of the TAI and the direct learning model. This research used the quasi experimental research method with the factorial design of 3 x 3. Its population was all of the students in Grade VII of State Junior Secondary Schools of North Lampung regency. The samples of the research were taken by using the stratified cluster random sampling technique. They consisted of 326 students from State Junior Secondary School 1 of South Abung, State Junior Secondary School 2 of South Abung, and State Junior Secondary School 2 of Abung Semuli. The samples were divided into three classes, namely: 109 in Experimental Class 1, 107 in Experimental Class 2, and 110 in Control Class. The instruments to gather the data of the research were test of learning achievement in Mathematics and questionnaire of self regulated learning. The proposed hypotheses of the research were tested by using the two-way analysis of variance with unbalanced cells. The conclutions of this research were as follows. (1) The cooperative learning model of the TAI type with the snowball drilling method resulted in a better learning achievement in Mathematics than TAI type and the direct learning model, and the cooperative learning model of the TAI type resulted in a better learning achievement in Mathematics than the direct learning model. (2) The students with the high self regulated learning had a better learning achievement in Mathematics than those with the moderate and low self regulated learning categories, and the students with the moderate self regulated learning had a better learning achievement in Mathematics than those with the low self regulated learning. (3) There was an interaction among learning models and the categories of self regulated learning on learning achievement in Mathematics.Keywords : TAI, snowball drilling, self regulated learning.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian diantaranya adalah untuk mengembangkan Buku Saku matematika berbasis Mind Mapping pada pokok bahasan Statistika dan untuk mengetahui respon pendidik dan peserta didik terhadap Buku Saku matematika berbasis Mind Mapping dengan pada pokok bahasan Statistika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian dan Pengembangan (Research and Development). Sebagai hasil penelitian, pengembangan Buku Saku Berbasis Mind Mapping melalui beberapa tahap yaitu menemukan masalah dan potensi dengan melakukan wawancara kepada guru Matematika kelas IX SMP Sains Qur’an Minhajuth Thullab Pekalongan. Respon guru pengampu Matematika kelas IX SMP Sains Qur’an Minhajuth Thullab Pekalongan terhadap media pembelajaran buku saku berbasis Mind Mapping memperoleh rata-rata persentase 89,29% dengan kategori sangat layak. Respon siswa kelas IX SMP Sains Qur’an Minhajuth Thullab Pekalongan untuk uji coba produk media pembelajaran buku saku berbasis Mind Mapping menunjukkan perolehan rata-rata persentase sebesar 95% dengan kategori sangat layak. Abstract

Abstrak:Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan belajar yang dihadapi siswa tunagrahita dalam menyelesaikan operasi penjumlahan. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Harapan Ibu (SLB) pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 3 siswa tunagrahita kelas III SLB Harapan Ibu Metro yang hanya mengalami kesulitan belajar matematika (diskalkulia). Metode penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif, pendekatan dalam penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pemilihan subjek penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling. Analisis data yang mengacu pada pendapat Miles dan Huberman adalah reduksi data, pemaparan data, analisis data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa tunagrahita sebagai berikut: (1) perhitungan, (2) kesulitan menunjukkan angka, dan (3) penggunaan proses yang keliru dalam penjumlahan.Abstract:The purpose of this study is to describe the learning difficulties faced by mental retardation students in solving the problem of addition operation. The research was conducted at Harapan Ibu Metro Special School (SLB) in the even semester of the academic year 2016/2017. Research subjects consisted of 3 mental retardation students class III SDLB Harapan Ibu Metro who only experienced difficulty learning mathematics (diskalkulia). This research method is qualitative method, approach in research use approach descriptive. The technique of choosing the subject of this research is purposive sampling. Data analysis that refers to Miles and Huberman's opinion such as data reduction, data exposure, data analysis, and conclusion. The results showed that the difficulties faced by students tunagrahita as follows: (1) calculation, (2) difficulty showing numbers, dan (3) the use of erroreous processes in the summing.

Abstract

Sebagai negara yang kaya dengan budaya penting mengintegrasikan budaya dengan pembelajaran matematika di kelas. Pembelajaran matematika yang selama ini digunakan cenderung terpisah antara matematika praktik dan teori sehingga kebermaknaannya tidak ada. Penelitian termasuk penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Pada penelitian ini mengkaji tentang pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan etnomatematika pada permainan tradisional gotri nogosari. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa matematika yang terkandung dalam permainan ini adalah tentang pembagian dan pecahan. Selain pada ranah koginitif pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan budaya dapat mengembangkan ranah afektif yaitu kedisiplinan.

Abstract

Pembelajaran kooperatif Tipe Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFE) adalah suatu model pembelajaran dimana siswa belajar mempresentasikan ide atau pendapatnya pada rekan yang lain, sedangkan alat peraga kotak imajinasi merupakan salah satu jenis alat peraga tiga dimensi yang berbentuk kubus dan balok. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasy experiment) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran SFE berbantuan alat peraga kotak imajinasi dan pembelajaran langsung sekaligus mengetahui kecerdasan spasial. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Ma’arif 1 Metro Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas VIII yang terdiri dari 3 kelas, pengambilan sampel dengan cara cluster random sampling. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji analisis variansi dua jalan sel tak sama dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 diperoleh nilai Fobs 5,89 yang merupakan anggota Daerah Kritis {F│F >4,028} sehingga H0 ditolak. Hal ini berarti bahwa terdapat perbedaan prestasi  belajar antara siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran  SFE berbantuan alat peraga kotak imajinasi dan model  pembelajaran langsung. Kemudian dalam perhitungan hipotesis dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 diperoleh nilai Fobs 74,88 yang merupakan anggota daerah kritis{F│F>3,178}sehingga H0  ditolak. Ini berarti semua kategori kecerdasan spasial siswa tinggi, sedang dan rendah memberikan efek yang berbeda terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui: pengaruh model pembelajaran pair check pada materi pokok segitiga ditinjau dari gaya belajar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental semu dengan desain faktorial 2×3. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP N 3 Batanghari. Melalui Cluster Random Sampling diperoleh sampel penelitian adalah kelas VII 6 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII 5 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes prestasi belajar matematika dan angket gaya belajar. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan analisis variansi dua jalan dengan sel tak sama. Hasil penelitian adalah: (1) Model Pembelajaran pair check menghasilkan prestasi belajar yang lebih baik daripada model pembelajaran konvensional. (2) Prestasi belajar matematika peserta didik yang memiliki gaya belajar visual lebih baik daripada gaya belajar auditorial dan kinestetis, sedangkan prestasi belajar peserta didik yang memiliki gaya belajar auditorial lebih baik daripada gaya belajar kinestetik. (3) Tidak ada interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan gaya belajar terhadap prestasi belajar peserta didik pada materi pokok segitiga.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe : 1) the thinking process of mathematic students with high and low math anxiety in understand the problem “integral application”; 2) the thinking process of mathematic students with high and low math anxiety in making a plan to solve problems “integral application”; 3) the thinking process of mathematic students with high and low math anxiety in carry out the plan to solve problems “integral application”; 4) the thinking process of mathematic students with high and low math anxiety in look back the answer “integral application”. This type of research was a qualitative research case study method. There are fourth subjects in this research: two students with high math anxiety and two students with low anxiety. Sampling was done by purposive sampling. The data was validated using a time triangulation test. The results of this research showed that (1) when attempting to understand the problem, planning an approach to solving the problem, carry out the planning, look back the answer the students with high math anxiety used convergent thinking process; (2) when attempting to understand the problem, planning an approach to solving the problem, carry out the planning the students with low math anxiety used divergent thinking process while look back the answer used convergent thinking. Abstract

Development of worksheets looks like the beginning of the problems found in schools, students have difficulty to understanding mathematical material both calculation concepts and moral values that have not been well organized. Worksheet designed with using a contextual approach which contains collaboration between material and verses relating to the used material, so that moral values related to the material are obtained and equipped with the application of moral values in the form of problem examples. After being designed, product is developed to be LKPD. The study objectives include: To develop a Mathematics LKPD based on Islamic values on the subject of algebraic. As a result of the study, the development of Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on Islamic values using a contextual approach to the subject of algebraic in class VII of the Qur'an Science Junior High School Minhajuth Thullab Pekalongan. The research uses the 4D development model consists of 4 main stages: Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The response of teachers to LKPD based on Islamic values with using a contextual approach on the subject of the algebra score 82% with very interesting criteria. The responses of students to LKPD obtained a score of 80 % with very decent criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Mathematics learning media using ethnomathematics based Powtoon applications. This study is using the Borg and Gall development model. Media development is carried out on the material of a flat triangle and quadrilateral of Class VII Junior High School. Data collection instruments used were media expert questionnaires, material experts used to test the quality of mathematics-based Powtoon learning media, and student response questionnaires to test interest in the developed media. Data collection methods used the form of interviews, documentation and questionnaires. This research resulted in ethnomathematics based Powtoon learning media. The results of the assessment by media experts scored 88% in the very feasible category, the assessment of the material experts obtained a score of 87% in the very feasible category, while based on trials in class VII students of Ma'arif 1 Metro SMP which amounted to 22 students obtained a score of 80% with the eligible category. The development of ethnomathematics based Powtoon learning media is feasible and can be used by teachers and students as learning media.
