Abstract

Analysis of DNA sequences is the main thing in the process of classification of amphibians at the family level. One method in sequence analysis is sequence alignment but it requires a large amount of time and cost. The problem of adding gaps and how long gaps are also a problem in the sequence alignment. The amphibian classification process uses genetic algorithms for inserting gaps with several modifications at each stage so that the DNA structure does not change. This study uses two cut point crossover and reciprocal exchange mutation. Fitness scores are used for the classification process by calculating proportions and then convert to evolutionary distance values. The data used were 363 amphibian DNA with 16s rRNA genes divided into five families namely Bufonidae, Dicroglossidae, Megophyridae, Ranidae, Rhacophoridae. Testing the accuracy of the system using the parameters crossover rate = 0.7, mutation rate = 0.3, popsize = 700, number of generations = 900, and multiplier factor = 1.2. System accuracy testing for five families was done 10 times each and got an average accuracy of 94%. With an average accuracy of the system, the genetic algorithm can carry out the sequence alignment process for amphibian classification.

Abstract

The popularity of coffee-based dishes is now being favored by many people, especially Indonesians. Not a few people also want to try to make coffee dishes (roasted coffee beans) with their own flavors but are constrained by such expensive equipment for cooking coffee beans with sophisticated systems purchased in the market. With so many color standards for the level of ripeness of coffee beans available, an innovation has emerged to determine the ripeness level of the coffee bean roast automatically, more efficiently, and as desired. However, in taking pictures there are constraints on excessive light intensity so that the resulting image looks biased. From these problems, an approach can be made using the Hue and Saturation color features which are able to detect and reduce excess light intensity from the outside and become the main focus of this research. The features used are the Hue and Saturation color spaces using the values ​​from the normalization results of the Red, Green, and Blue (RGB) color features, and using 500 coffee roast images. This study uses two methods, the first uses RGB values ​​without normalizing them by using the features Hue and Saturation which are able to get 76% accuracy with 3 classes of data matching results (Green Roast, Yellow Roast, and Dark Roast), and the second feature Hue and Saturation normalization are able to get an accuracy of 70% with data matching results of 4 classes (Green Roast, Yellow Roast, Light Roast, and Dark Roast).

Abstract

The growth in the number of cinema audiences is increasing in line with the large number of films being produced. Various films with plot stories, genres, and film themes that are similar or different have enlivened the industrial market from overseas to domestic film. Of the many films produced, it makes potential viewers confused and difficult to find and determine what film to watch next so that they spend more time looking for films. Some people use the features provided on some sites to search for movies to decide which movie to watch. Everyone has different tastes and tends to choose to watch movies that are similar to the movies he likes. One way to get the right information about a film is a recommendation system. Each film has some information in the form of different genre films and synopsis films. In this study, to obtain the recommendation results using a content based filtering algorithm by looking for the similarity in weight of the terms in the bag of words result of pre-processing film synopsis and film title. The weighting is carried out using the TF-IDF method which has been normalized. Then the weighting results will go through the cosine similarity stage to look for similarities based on weights and end with filtering based on genre. Based on the results of tests carried out by involving three participants with a total number of films as many as 4000 film titles, the accuracy value is obtained using the mean average precision @K (MAP @ K) is 0.823254 for the single query type and 0.7500556 for the multiple seed query type. From these results, it is found that the single query type produces better recommendations than the multiple seed query type.

Abstract

Coffee cultivation in Indonesia is still done by very traditional methods, like wise in determination of its quality level by sorting it out still done by human operators by considering its size and density, which means determination of coffee bean's quality level is very depended on the operator's ability, so that is susceptible to mistakes and non-technical factors that accompany it. The quality level of coffee bean itself is divided to 6 grades that is grade 1 to grade 6 for each variant. One of the methods that can be done to ease determination of the quality of coffee beans is by processing its image by extracting texture feature by using Local Ternary Patterns(LTP) method, color feature with HSV and RGB Color Moment, and utilizing classification algorithm Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ). This method is considered as a breakthrough in coffee bean's grade determination because the cost is cheaper but still gives decent results considered in a relatively short time. In this study, the image data used is as many as 150 data with 30 data on grade 1 through 5 because the data availability was not up to grade 6. This study results a system that was able to classify the quality of coffee beans with an accuracy rate of 84,4%. Two of the entered quality cases were successfully predicted with 100% correctness, namely grade 1 and 5.

Abstract

The high consumption of native chickens by people in Indonesia indirectly demands the field of native chicken farming so that the need for the amount of meat can be met. In the initial stage, namely breeding, breeders need to produce chicken eggs to be used as seeds, where the success of hatching eggs can be identified by monitoring at the age of 8 days of the incubation period. These eggs can be identified earlier at the age of 5 days of incubation but require good eye ability because the chicken embryos that are formed are still small. A fertility classification system is needed so that eggs can be identified whether they are capable of hatching or not. The system in this study uses the Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM) method for the feature extraction process from an egg image. The extraction results are reprocessed using the Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ) method so that the results of the classification of the egg image classification are fertile or infertile. The data used are images of eggs that have gone through an incubation period of 5 days and are photographed with the aid of a flashlight. The results of this study, the GLCM method was able to extract features from the image of native chicken eggs, either fertile or infertile, with a significant value. Whereas for the LVQ method, the best test results are using learning rate of 0.05 and for GLCM using 5 features with 0 degree for angle orientation, with an accuracy value of 88.13%.

Abstract

The development of technology increasingly influences every aspect in the life of modern society today, which can be felt. Basically, technology is presented to facilitate the activities that have been done so as to increase the efficiency of time which is quite significant. One technology that is very familiar is the website. And the website itself is not only limited to providing the information sought but can also be used to manage existing data so that it can produce information. When we discuss about data processing it must be very closely related to Systems Information Management (SIM), a lot of data that we can process on SIM as in business and health aspects. In the aspect of health that can take care of patient data, patient history data, drug inventory data, as well as the most inherent in processing health data is medical data record. In the case study of the Independent Clinic Doctor Lina, which is a clinic that serves general problems and there are also beauty problems. In carrying out the activity of registration, patient queuing system, examination and management of products and clinical medicine, this method still uses conventional methods or by writing it down in a paper which is stored as book archives for each type of activity. This problem can greatly slow down the performance of the clinic because the number of patients visiting will continue to increase in proportion to the running time so the data that needs to be stored will also increase and become more complex. So that from the problems that arise from the clinic will be built a system that is capable of processing data contained in the clinic such as patient personal data, patient medical record data, patient visit data, disease data, as well as logistical data such as beauty products and medicines. Where later all the data stored in this system will be able to occur integrated in every part of the activities in the clinic as well as data accessed by many actors in the same place and time by creating a website-based of clinical management information system.

Abstract

The management of the futsal field affects the success of this business. In handling business activities, it often experiences obstacles in the order process, transaction management, transaction recapitulation, and transaction reports. This problem occurs in the futsal field at Zona SM Malang , in the organization of transactions still using the offline system by recording orders, making proofs with paper, making a data recap that the manager has difficulty because there is a lot of paper to be collected and also unorganized storage of ordering data for field use. Futsal properly and correctly so that the data will be lost. For the ordering system, tenants must come to Zona Malang SM location to place an order. As a futsal court, ZONA SM requires an order system to manage transaction data and ordering systems. Based on these problems, it is to improve the effectiveness of the field ordering process and data management in Zona SM Malang Futsal. The system development in this study uses the SDLC waterfall with an object oriented approach, the design stage uses UML modeling which can be used to make implementations, the system is built using the programming language PHP, HTML, and CSS. For databases using MySQL. The testing phase on functional requirements uses blackbox testing and whitebox testing and shows 100% valid results on both tests. Testing for non-functional requirements uses browser compatibility testing and shows the results that the system is compatible in various browsers.

Abstract

The distribution process at CV Forward Kediri involves more than one sales for the product delivery process. In this case, the route determination management from the distributor is very important so that the distribution process can be more optimal. The problem experienced by many salespeople in finding the closest route is known as the Multiple Traveling Salesman Problem. One of the optimization algorithms to solve the closest route-finding problem is the Ant Colony Optimization algorithm. This algorithm is algorithm that is inspired by groups of ant colonies in finding a path to get food. In this study, to determine the resulting solution from the Ant Colony Optimization algorithm, a comparison of the initial conditions with the system was carried out. By testing the parameters of Ant Colony Optimization, the optimal parameters are obtained, namely the iteration of 2000, the alpha value, the beta value of 0.1, the rho value of 0.3, and the tau value of 0.03. Based on the results of the comparison of the system using the Ant Colony Optimization algorithm, with an average fitness of 121.27 with the original condition of 179.42, it turns out that the results obtained by the system are much shorter than the original condition so that it can provide more optimal results.

Abstract

Efficient work is a profitable job because it is free from certain problems, such as distance problems in the distribution process. Therefore, optimization is one of the solutions that can be relied on as an efficient way to solve a problem, such as the Ant Colony Optimization's algorithm (ACO) in optimizing the distribution route of goods or basic needs products at the Sasana Bonafide store. The optimization problem in this study utilized the concept of the Multi Traveling Salesman Problem (M-TSP) because it involved more than one distributor and had a single depot, which was the Sasana Bonafide store. This study utilized data on customers who lived in 34 different addresses. In this study, ACO succeeded in producing the best solution by combining parameter values to solve the distance optimization problem. The combination of the ACO parameter values utilized in this study, namely the control constant for the intensity of the ant pheromone trail was 1, the visibility control constant was 1, the evaporation constant for the ant pheromone trail was 0.1, and the number of iterations was 500. These parameters were utilized in system testing that tested four times using four different actual data and produced the best solution with each percentage, which was 31.56% produced a distance of 39.4 km, 23.25% produced a distance of 43.52 km, 23.66% produced a distance of 44.14 km, and 25.97% produced a distance of 39.97 km.
