Abstract

Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic is a big problem for people's lives in the world. The purpose of this study is to find out ips learning in the covid 19 period. One of the highlights in the world of education, where learning activities are carried out online. This learning activity automatically involves teachers and students, as well as parents because learning is done at home. Implementation of learning in rural areas with facilities. This also happened in SD Negeri Ciawi District Banjarharjo Brebes Regency. The method used is a qualitative descriptive survey. Instruments used in the form of interviews are given to learners, teachers and primary school principals. Observations can be used as support in data retrieval. The focus of this study is on learning IPS covid 19. Data analysis techniques use source triangulation. Analyze data by subtracting, viewing and verifying data. The results showed that the covid-19 pandemic had an impact and there were constraints on learning for learners, teachers, and principals. Where learning is done online and offline. With this pandemic all remain vigilant and keep themselves in accordance with health protocols recommended by the government to avoid the coronavirus.

Abstract

A person's readiness to engage in peer counseling is strongly influenced by mental health and well-being. Peer counseling conducted by people with disabilities will greatly affect the self-esteem of people with disabilities in the community. This research method uses quantitative with 40 respondents who filled out a mental health and well-being questionnaire. The selection of respondents used non-probability sampling techniques. The result of this study is an index analysis consisting of the respondent's mental health index value of 79.25 categorized as Good and the index value of the well-being indicator of 71.93 categorized as Good. The researcher concluded that peer counseling needs to be prepared for mental health and well-being. Mental health consists of 4 indicators including depression or anxiety, dementia, mental (psychiatric) or behavioral disorders, and sleep problems. On well-being consists of 24 indicators including assessing the quality of life, assessing overall health, ability to do activities, satisfied with oneself, satisfied with a relationship, living conditions, having enough energy, having enough money to meet needs, perceived loneliness, feeling a lack of friendship, feeling abandoned, feeling isolated from others, yesterday feeling happy, yesterday feeling enthusiastic, yesterday feeling satisfied, yesterday feeling angry, yesterday feeling frustrated, yesterday feeling tired, yesterday feeling sad, yesterday feeling stressed, yesterday feeling lonely, yesterday feeling happy, yesterday feeling enthusiastic, yesterday feeling satisfied, yesterday feeling angry, yesterday feeling frustrated.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the snowball throwing learning model on the interest of class III SDN Prapag Kidul 03 in Maths material theme 7 subtheme 2 "technology development" in the material of folding symmetry and rotational symmetry. The method used in this research is by experiment. The technique of taking cluster random sampling and the data for interest in learning is carried out with a self-assessment sheet in the form of a questionnaire for students. The materials used are folding symmetry and rotational symmetry materials. This study was analyzed using the t test. The results obtained were (1) The results of the pre-test of interest in learning mathematics on rotational symmetry and folding symmetry in the experimental class obtained an average value of 43.35 greater than the average value of the control class, namely 39.87. This t-test uses SPSS 24 software assistance. The results obtained using the t-test obtained a significance of 0.081 <0.05, which means that there is an effect of the snowball throwing model on learning interest, the hypothesis (Ha) is accepted (Ho) is rejected.

Abstract

Social Studies (IPS) education plays a crucial role in understanding local wisdom as a cultural resource that supports sustainable development and is responsive to social contexts. This study explores the integration of local wisdom into elementary school curricula and learning practices using ethnographic qualitative methods, including in-depth interviews with teachers, classroom observations, and document analysis. The results indicate that local wisdom is embedded in local languages and dialects, in folklore, and in arts and crafts. However, challenges such as a lack of teacher training and limited resources were also identified. This study emphasizes the importance of well-planned pedagogical strategies to develop students' character and social attitudes.

Abstract

This study aims to design an inquiry-based learning model that integrates local wisdom about mangroves into primary school Social Studies to foster students' social attitudes. Employing a Research and Development approach with the 4D model (define, design, develop, disseminate), this research involved 6 primary school teachers and 60 fifth-grade students from coastal schools in Brebes Regency, Indonesia. Data were collected through needs analysis, expert validation, observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The resulting model systematically integrates seven-stage inquiry syntax with mangrove socio-ecological contexts, explicitly oriented toward developing cooperation, empathy, and responsibility. Expert validation by three specialists yielded an average feasibility score of 4.35 out of 5, indicating a very high level of validity. Limited trials revealed measurable improvements in students' social attitudes: cooperation increased by 18%, responsibility by 17%, and empathy by 15%. Qualitative data confirmed enhanced student engagement, collaboration, and environmental awareness. Teachers reported that the model effectively connected learning with students' real-life contexts, although they acknowledged the need for further training and assistance. This study contributes theoretically to contextual Social Studies pedagogy and, in practice, offers a sustainable instructional model for character education in coastal primary schools. The novelty lies in the systematic integration of inquiry-based learning, local mangrove wisdom, and explicit assessment of social attitudes within a single instructional design.
