Abstract

Begalan is a typical tradition in marriage customs in Banyumas Regency. The tradition of begalan involves a lot of dialogue in it which is loaded with values of advice. However, the forms of politeness in the begalan tradition have not been studied much. This study aims to describe the politeness of the language used by begalan players in traditional marriage ceremonies in Banyumas Regency. This research is a content analysis research, the data analyzed for language politeness is in the form of a video of the begalan procession. The data analysis stage used refers to the Krippendorff content analysis stage which consists of six stages, namely data collection, sampling, recording/recording, reduction, drawing conclusions, and describing results. The results of the study found that the begalan procession in traditional ceremonies in Banyumas was divided into two stages, namely the preparation stage and the implementation stage. In the preparation stage, the guide explained the purpose of the begalan event using the language of manners alus. Meanwhile, at the implementation stage, both players use Javanese ngoko with Banyumas dialect. The conclusion that can be written is that in the context of language politeness, whether carried out by guides or players, it is in harmony with language politeness. It's just that jokes made by players tend to pay less attention to language politeness

Abstract

Liwetan is a tradition to cook and eat from a tray or banana leaves together. This Liwetan is done with some students eating on banana leaves filled with food and side dishes. This tradition is closely related to positive habituation and character values. This article aims to explore the nyantri and liwetan traditions carried out by santri. The research method used is a qualitative method. The results of this study indicate that the nyantri tradition has been carried out from generation to generation as part of the principle of the Kediri community that religious knowledge is more important to learn, the liwetan tradition developed from the beginning to be frugal to become a tradition used to build the character of students who have an attitude, simplicity, togetherness, mutual respect, cooperation, friendship, nationalism and eliminating the boundaries of social stratification.

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to explore the implementation of local wisdom-based learning in primary school education in Penglipuran Village. This village is renowned as one of the traditional villages that has preserved its cultural values and traditions, particularly in education. The application of local wisdom-based learning is expected to enhance students' understanding of cultural heritage, strengthen their character, and foster early environmental awareness. This study employs a qualitative research method with a case study approach. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation involving teachers, students, and the local community. The findings indicate that integrating cultural values into the learning process contributes to increased student motivation, deeper understanding of cultural values, and enriched learning experiences. However, challenges remain in its implementation, such as the limited availability of local culture-based learning resources and the lack of training for teachers to effectively adopt this approach. Therefore, collaboration between schools, the government, and the community is essential to develop a more systematic and sustainable local wisdom-based learning model.

Abstract

Canang sari as a ritual tool for Balinese Hindu communities outside the island of Bali is still maintained even though the materials used are different. This research aims to find out the local wisdom of canang sari as a ritual offering for Hindu communities in Bali. The method used is a qualitative method. The results of this research show that the tradition of offering canang sari is still maintained to this day, because canang sari is a special attraction for Hindus to use it in ritual offerings for traditional ceremonies. Even though in the current era of modernization, the Hindu community in Bali still preserves the local wisdom of canang sari by making it using natural materials that come from nature such as flowers which have many colors, leaves, areca nut, sugar cane, and gambier in each piece of flower and leaf which is arranged carefully, showing a deep spiritual message, a sign of unity. nature, spirit and God. Making canang saris is usually called matanding and majejahitan. All Balinese people are taught to make canang saris from childhood to adulthood, with the aim being that these canang saris will be preserved for generations to come. Canang sari also has five meanings and objectives, namely to practice the teachings of the Veda, to show gratitude to Sang Hyang Widi, to improve one's quality, and as a way to get closer to God who is worshiped.

Abstract

Kurikulum memegang peran strategis dalam dunia pendidikan. Kurikulum merupakan jantungnya kegiatan pendidikan. Kurikulum menjadi salah satu alat untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan. Namun kurikulum bukanlah benda mati yang tidak bisa disentuh ide perubahan. Perubahan kurikulum tidak dapat dilepaskan dari sifatnya yang memang harus selalu dinamis dan tuntutan perkembangan zaman. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri Sengon 05, Brebes, Jawa Tengah, untuk mengevaluasi penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka yang bertujuan memberikan fleksibilitas dalam proses pembelajaran. Metode penelitian kualitatif digunakan dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka berdampak positif terhadap keterlibatan peserta didik dan pengembangan karakter. Para guru menyatakan pemahaman yang baik terkait Kurikulum Merdeka, peserta didik belajar sesuai minat dan bakat mereka. Meskipun terdapat tantangan seperti waktu dan sarana prasarana, kesiapan guru dan dukungan dari kepala sekolah berkontribusi pada keberhasilan implementasi. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa Kurikulum Merdeka tidak hanya fokus pada pencapaian akademis tetapi juga pada pengembangan keterampilan sosial dan karakter peserta didik. Evaluasi keberhasilan dilakukan melalui analisis hasil raport pendidikan dan indikator lainnya, menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi peserta didik. Secara keseluruhan, SDN Sengon 05 berhasil menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka dengan baik.

Abstract

Scouting activities in the independent curriculum are compulsory extracurriculars. However, at SD Negeri Kaligangsa Kulon 01, scouting activities are often hampered due to school conditions that are often inundated by water during the rainy season. Scouting activities also tend to focus on the material so that it feels boring. This method of community service activities is divided into two stages, namely training, preparation of activity design and implementation of scouting activities. The result of this community service is the design of game-based scouting activities. In addition, at the implementation stage, it was also found that the design of this activity was flexible so as to minimize the problems of scouting activities that occurred at SD Negeri Kaligangsa Kulon 01. Students in this community service activity can also develop cooperative, meticulous, and creative characters from the material of solving secret messages written using ciphers. The suggestions that can be given are, games as innovations in delivering scouting material, need to be adjusted to the material to be delivered.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the basic mathematics skills of fifth grade students and explore the obstacles faced in improving them. The approach used is descriptive qualitative with five students as subjects who have scores below the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that students' basic mathematics skills are still low, especially in understanding the concept of numbers, arithmetic operations, and their application in contextual problems. Some of the obstacles found include low learning motivation, difficulty in understanding the material, lack of home tutoring, and learning methods that are not fully in accordance with students' needs. These findings indicate the need for more varied learning strategies and support from the students' environment to improve basic mathematics skills optimally. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pemahaman, pencegahan, dan penanganan bullying di sekolah dasar melalui peran aktif guru, penerapan strategi sekolah ramah anak, serta pengembangan lingkungan sosial dan emosional yang mendukung kesejahteraan dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah kajian literatur dengan menelaah berbagai hasil penelitian dan sumber relevan yang membahas dampak negatif bullying terhadap siswa, pentingnya dukungan sosial dan peran guru, serta berbagai strategi dan program yang efektif untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman, bebas bullying, dan mendukung perkembangan sosial-emosional siswa di sekolah dasar. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki peran penting sebagai pengawas, pembimbing, dan panutan dalam membentuk interaksi sosial yang sehat. Strategi yang dapat diterapkan antara lain pemberian pendidikan karakter, deteksi dini terhadap perilaku menyimpang, serta pengelolaan kelompok belajar secara efektif dan aman. Kajian ini merekomendasikan pentingnya pelatihan bagi guru untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dalam mengelola dinamika kelompok dan mencegah bullying sejak dini. Kata Kunci: peran guru, bullying, lingkungan belajar aman, sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to assess the mathematical problem-solving skills of students. Up to three fifth-grade students were selected to represent high, medium, and low mathematical problem-solving skills. This study uses a qualitative approach based on a case study methodology. Data collection methods included examinations, interviews, questionnaires, and records. Triangulation tests were carried out using triangulation procedures, analyzing informants, and designing member checks. The data analysis technique included data collection, reduction, presentation, inference, and verification. The results showed that students with above-average abilities can deal effectively with challenges. Pupils of average ability can only reach the planning stage, and when it comes to carrying out the plan, they often make mistakes in entering numbers and performing calculations.
