Abstract

This service aims to explore a Quranic tutoring program in Dusun Tambak Ukir, focusing on enhancing children's reading skills of the Quran, memorizing daily prayers, and fostering noble character. The initiative implements observations and surveys to gather comprehensive data. Results indicate that the tutoring significantly improves children's fluency in reading the Quran and aids them in memorizing important prayers. Additionally, the program plays a crucial role in character development, instilling values of kindness, respect, and responsibility within the community. By creating a supportive and engaging learning environment, this initiative not only promotes religious education but also strengthens social bonds among participants. The program emphasizes the importance of sustainability to ensure ongoing benefits and to encourage a culture of learning and moral development within the community.

Abstract

Tujuan khusus penelitian ini adalah: 1. Memahami secara menyeluruh keadaan moral remaja di Kelurahan Puusinauwi, 2. Mengidentifikasi fungsi dan peran tapak wali dalam pembinaan moral remaja di daerah tersebut. 3. Menggabungkan berbagai aktivitas yang dilakukan tapak wali untuk meningkatkan semangat remaja, 4. mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi saat menjalankan program pembinaan moral dan langkah-langkah yang diambil untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk memahami secara mendalam peran Tapak Wali dalam membentuk karakter moral remaja. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan anggota Paguyuban, pembina, dan remaja peserta, serta observasi partisipatif selama kegiatan latihan. Analisis data menggunakan metode grounded theory menghasilkan temuan bahwa Paguyuban berperan signifikan dalam pembentukan karakter moral remaja melalui penanaman nilai-nilai disiplin, kerja sama, dan keberanian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Tapak Wali membentuk karakter dan moral remaja di Kelurahan Puusinauwi, memberikan pelatihan disiplin, nilai-nilai keagamaan, dan kegiatan lainnya untuk meningkatkan moral remaja

Abstract

The village government has been given the authority to participate in community empowerment efforts in the field of Education. However,in the educational process, there are still obstacles related to infrastructure. Settlement of these obstacles, still rely on self-help community. The implementation of village government policies as referred to in Law Number 6 of 2014 and regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia number 84 of 2015 Article 26 paragraph (2) varies and there are still some that are not optimal. This study aims to determine the optimization of village government policies in efforts to strengthen education. The study was conducted in the village of Japan with a qualitative approach. Subjects were determined using the purposive sampling method. Data collection by observation, interview, and documentation, then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that the form of Village policy in the field of education can be in the form of incentives for educators, operational assistance and infrastructure. The Village policy process has gone through the stages of problem identification, agenda preparation, drafting, ratification, implementation and Policy Evaluation. Village policies in the field of Education have an impact on increasing the spirit of teaching educators, the spirit of learning of learners, and increasing public awareness of the importance of Education. In conclusion, optimizing village policies in the field of education in the form of infrastructure, through a good process can increase the spirit of learning and teaching.

Abstract

The spread of the Covid-19 virus requires human interaction to be mediated by information and communication technology, including education. Educators must adapt to this change to become role models quickly. However, not all educators can use technology in online learning. For educators in the village who had never used information and communication technology for education, this adaptation process needed guidance in the acceleration, as a necessity of educators with ICT mastery capabilities in the information age and amid the pandemic situation. It takes a mentoring program for educators to improve their ability and competence on digital technology for learning management both luring and online. This program is intended for educators in MI Al-Hikmah Source of Simo Boyolali through a participatory approach. The training began by doing a pretest and continued FGD to map the potential and problems faced by the teacher. Based on the pretest and FGD,  we decided to conduct digital literacy training to improve educator competencies in managing online learning and luring. Penyebaran virus Covid-19 mengharuskan interaksi manusia termediasi oleh teknologi informasi dan komunikasi termasuk dalam bidang pendidikan. Pendidik dituntut untuk beradaptasi dengan cepat terhadap perubahan ini agar tetap mampu menjadi role model. Namun demikian belum semua pendidik mampu memanfaatkan teknologi dalam pembelajaran daring. Bagi pendidik yang berada di desa yang sebelumnya tidak pernah menggunakan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi untuk pembelajaran, bimbingan dalam percepatan proses adaptasi ini perlu dilakukan. Sebagai sebuah keniscayaan pendidik dengan kemampuan penguasaan TIK di era informasi dan ditengah situasi pandemic.  Dibutuhkan program pendampingan bagi pendidik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan kompetensi pendidik terhadap pemanfaatan teknologi digital untuk pengelolaan pembelajaran baik luring maupun daring. Program ini ditujukan untuk pendidik di MI Al Hikmah Sumber Simo Boyolali melalui pendekatan partisipatoris. Pelatihan dimulai dengan melakukan pretes dan dilanjutkan FGD untuk memetakan potensi dan masalah yang dihadapai guru. Berdasarkan hasil pretest dan FGD kemudian diputuskan untuk melakukan pelatihan literasi digital untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pendidik dalam mengelola pembelajaran daring dan luringKata kunci: Urgensi; Literasi Digital; Keterampilan; Pendidik; Pembelajaran

Abstract

Since the Republic of Indonesia became independent on August 17, 1945, several parliamentary elections have been held in Indonesia. The first elections were held in 1955 to elect the House of Representatives and the Constituent Assembly members. The second election to elect members of the House of Representatives was in 1971. Six elections were held during the 32 years of Suharto's rule (1971-1997). Elections in the reform era in 1999 and 2004 elected the first President. In 2009, 2014, 2019, and now 2024. Political literacy has been socialized by Semester 1 students of the animal husbandry and informatics engineering study program at the University of Muhammadiyah Cirebon. The material presented included the history of elections in the country, campaigns on social media, student perceptions and attitudes towards campaigns, and considerations for making choices. The results of the novice voter community service show that semester one students do not understand the history of elections in the country, not all students are interested in participating in campaigns on social media, and students' perceptions and attitudes towards news on social media are critical and use common sense and are not easily provoked by hoax news.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the development and understanding of the role of laboratory-based renewable energy education in vocational career development. This research employs bibliometric analysis using the Scopus database with the assistance of Biblioshiny and VOSviewer tools. From 2015 to 2024, 64 documents were found in Scopus and filtered down to 63 documents, comprising articles, book chapters, and conference papers relevant to the keywords "Renewable Energy Learning" OR "Practicum-Based" OR "Vocational Career Development." The data analysis over the past ten years reveals trends and the annual production of scientific articles, the most relevant sources and affiliations, the most productive countries annually, frequently used keywords, thematic maps, and the most cited documents globally. Using VOSviewer, three types of data visualizations—network, overlay, and density—support the analysis of article linkages. This study is expected to help researchers identify the development and understanding of international research related to the selected keywords and provide references and limitations for future research.

Abstract

Vocational education demands continuous innovation in instructional media to enhance students’ comprehension of increasingly complex technical concepts. In response to the global shift toward sustainable energy solutions, this study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of solar panel trainers as hands-on, technology-based learning tools in the teaching of electrical installation engineering. Utilizing a quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test control groups, the research was conducted at a vocational high school and involved two student groups: one using conventional learning methods and another using solar panel trainers. Data were collected through structured tests assessing both theoretical understanding and practical skills. The results indicate a statistically significant improvement in the experimental group’s performance, particularly in understanding the principles of renewable energy and applying them in electrical system installations. These findings highlight the pedagogical benefits of integrating renewable energy technologies into vocational curricula. The study suggests that using practical, real-world tools like solar panel trainers not only enhances learning outcomes but also equips students with relevant competencies for sustainability-driven industries.

Abstract

A study of the works of Indonesian clerics, especially at the end of the 19th century was very dynamics. The discovery of local wisdom in the communication aspect is often found in the works of Indonesian scholars. In some cases, the archipelago aspect also influenced their intellectual works. For example, The book of fiqh entitled Majmūʻat al-Syarīʻah al-Kāfiyah li al-ʻawām by Kiai Sholeh Darat, was written using the coastal model of Javanese language (al-lughah al-Jawiyyah al-merikiyyah). Kiai Sholeh Darat's choice of the Javanese language as a means of communication became his literacy vision with the hope that the Javanese people at that time could understand and easily follow the message of the book. In addition to the language aspect, the local wisdom appears in the appearance and explanation aspects. Kiai Sholeh Darat chose to use the pegon script to interpret the book. Besides, in explaining the contents of the book, Kiai Sholeh Darat often provides examples of the issues discussed with several cases common in the public such as the Memule Dayang Merkayang, counting for "good day", Choosing market day, Nyahur tanah, Scales Size and so on.

Abstract

Muslim minority families in Vietnam face limited access to structured Islamic education and halal literacy resources, leading to challenges in strengthening halal lifestyle awareness among adolescents. Responding to this issue, this community engagement program was conducted in August 2025 at Thánh đường Hồi Giáo Dầu Tiếng, Ho Chi Minh City, involving 10 Muslim families. The program employed a participatory family empowerment model, utilizing a combination of online assessments, offline workshops, and hybrid mentoring and evaluation. Vietnamese students from Universitas Wahid Hasyim supported the on-site implementation, while practitioners from Indonesia provided guidance online. Over one month of staggered activities, families participated in halal literacy education, Prophetic parenting training, and the development of a Halal Lifestyle Family Plan (HLFP). The results show increased parental awareness of halal values, improved family communication, and observable behavioral changes among adolescents in consumption habits, digital media use, and Islamic identity confidence. This program demonstrates that a culturally responsive, hybrid, and family-centered Islamic educational strategy can effectively strengthen halal lifestyle practices within Muslim minority contexts.
