Abstract

Higher education institutions are required to establish a Task Force for the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence (PPKS). The presence of the PPKS Task Force within the campus requires thorough preparation so that its existence can be accepted and beneficial. Therefore, this research aims to examine how social capital is utilized by PPKS Task Force to strengthen its presence. The concept of social capital in organizational management is used for analysis. Using a qualitative approach, data collection was conducted through interviews with the chairperson and members of PPKS Task Force in three campuses where the PPKS Task Force has been established for more than 6 months. The research findings indicate the existence of bonding social capital through the reinforcement of vision, mission, and shared perceptions among Task Force members, which serves as an initial step before engaging in other activities. Additionally, there is bridging social capital through trust and support from the campus's internal stakeholders and related parties directly associated with the campus. Another crucial aspect is linking social capital through collaboration with external parties and various entities capable of providing support for PPKS Task Force activities and tasks.

Abstract

Abstract

Digital transformation has opened up new opportunities for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to expand their markets; however, limited digital literacy remains a major obstacle in many communities, including Cibayawak Hamlet, Pagelaran Village, Banten. This community service program is designed with the spirit of digital sociopreneurship by optimizing digital technology to create social value while empowering the local economy. Through the active involvement of young people, students, and lecturers, this program not only transfers technical skills but also fosters social awareness to help MSMEs advance in digital marketing. The focus of the activity is training in producing creative short video content for TikTok and improving product packaging design. Content quality evaluation was carried out using a 12-indicator validation sheet (scale 1–5) on seven videos created by participants. The results showed that ethical and legal compliance and audio/image quality were key strengths, while titles and captions, editing and transitions, and message sharpening still needed to be strengthened. This program emphasizes the role of young people as agents of digital change capable of bridging the technology gap at the community level. Practical recommendations such as storyboarding, keyword-based caption writing, and lightweight editing templates are offered as step-by-step solutions to help MSMEs produce content relevant to social media trends. With a digital sociopreneurial approach, this program not only enhances marketing skills but also builds a collaborative ecosystem between academics, young people, and local businesses for digital-based economic independence.

Abstract

The controversy over the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation (Permendikbudristek) Number 30 of 2021 on the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence in Higher Education is interesting to study. Criticism of this regulation, among others, Article 5, which  carries  the phrase “without the consent of the victim”, raises the meaning of legalizing immoral acts and consent-based free sex. Along with this polemic, reports and news about sexual violence in colleges have also emerged. This debate also occurs in society, especially with the presence of digital media, which makes a discourse grow fast and expand. Various comments and discussions occurred in various media, especially social media. This research using the concept of participatory culture aims to get an overview of public comments through the social media Twitter #permendikbud30, which contains uploads and comments regarding the controversy over Permendikbudristek Number 30 of 2021 and will be carried out through netnography studies. Finally, the results of the analysis show a picture of the diversity of people’s perspectives in giving their opinions, namely: (a) by analogy with verses in the Quran; (b) there are many cases whose handling is not in favor of the victim and a firm law is needed; (c) educational institutions have not been responsive in handling cases that have occurred; (d) there is still polarization in politics, especially related to identity politics and (e) support for the relevant ministries for the ratification of this regulation is an important contribution to handling cases of sexual violence in the campus.
