Abstract

In the era of digital transformation and scientific advancement, the thesis is one of the academic requirements that must be completed by students of the Bachelor (S1) program, a scientific product that is in accordance with the peculiarities of the S1 Nursing study program with the characteristics of an emergency. This study aims to analyze the thesis titles of S1 Nursing students at ITSKes Insan Cendekia Medika Jombang in 2023– 2025 with a bibliometric approach using VOSviewer software. The background of this research is based on the gap between the topic of the student's thesis and the peculiarities of the study program that emphasizes the field of emergency nursing. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with co-word, co-occurrence, and citation analysis techniques. The data used came from 177 titles of student final projects obtained from institutional repositories, data was analyzed through three types of visualizations in VOSviewer, network, density, and overlay visualization.The results of the study show that the dominant topics in students' theses revolve around community nursing and general issues such as stress, sleep quality, nutritional status, hypertension, and adolescent and elderly behavior. Emergency topics such as trauma, triage, resuscitation, and disaster management appear only very limited, both in keywords and abstract content. The VOSviewer visualization shows an imbalance in the distribution of themes, suggesting that the main focus has not yet reflected the peculiarities of the study program. The conclusion of this study is that student research trends are not fully in line with the vision, mission, and scientific characteristics of the S1 Nursing study program that is oriented towards emergency nursing. Therefore, academic strategies are needed such as topic briefings by supervisors and library officers who can provide recommendations for research topics in accordance with the characteristics of the study program, as well as the preparation of superior topic policies based on bibliometric analysis.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of developing collections in the E-Library of the University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo in facing the digital era. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews with E-Library librarians of the University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. The results of the study show that University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo E-Library implements various strategies in the development of digital collections, including: (1) analysis of user needs through surveys, (2) digital resources through consortiums, grants, and independent purchases, (3) collaboration with other parties such as universities and digital platform providers, (4) utilizing various platforms and software, (5) promotion of digital collections through various channels, and (6) continuous evaluation of the collection. This study concludes that the E-Library of the University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo has a strong commitment to developing digital collections to meet the information needs of the academic community. Despite facing challenges such as budget limitations, the E-Library of the University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo is able to take strategic steps to ensure the availability of relevant and quality information resources.

Abstract

Kemampuan membaca dengan baik para siswa di sekolah dasar Indonesia masih di bawah standar, terutama di kelas-kelas awal, sehingga diperlukan pendekatan yang sistematis untuk memperbaikinya. Rendahnya minat untuk membaca serta kurangnya kebiasaan membaca merupakan beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi keadaan ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana program fokus baca diterapkan dan bagaimana dampaknya terhadap kemampuan membaca lancar siswa kelas 1 di SD Negeri 2 Serangan Ponorogo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru kelas satu dan siswa kelas satu. Metode pengumpulan data dengan mengamati, wawancara dan mencatat berbagai dokumen. Membandingkan berbagai sumber dan metode digunakan untuk menguji kebenaran data. Proses analisis data dengan cara mengolah, mengelompokkan dan memahami data secara sistematis. Program Fokus Baca dimulai dengan kegiatan membaca selama 15 menit sebelum pelajaran dimulai setiap pagi. Siswa menunjukkan peningkatan dalam ketepatan, intonasi, kelancaran dan kecepatan membaca, program ini memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca. Minat siswa dalam aktivitas membaca meningkat, kemampuan mereka untuk fokus, dan rasa percaya diri mereka dalam melakukan aktivitas tersebut meningkat. Keberhasilan program bergantung pada guru yang bertindak sebagai pembimbing, bantuan dari kepala sekolah dan kolaborasi dengan orang tua. Program ini dapat menjadi salah satu langkah strategis untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa dan mendorong pertumbuhan budaya literasi di kelas awal sekolah dasar.
