Abstract

The development research was conducted as an innovation of learning modules with Islamic nuances and the environment of whole number material at the junior high school / MTs level that are feasible, interesting, and effective for use in learning. The development model used is the ADDIE model. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of validation of material, media, and religious experts, the response of the attractiveness of educators and students, and the effectiveness test. The feasibility test was conducted by three material expert validators, three media experts, and one religious expert. Attractiveness and effectiveness response tests were conducted at SMP Swadiri 1 Seputih Agung and MTs Darussalam Adijaya. The results of the feasibility test by material expert validators 3.53, media experts 3.69, and religious experts 3.77 with the criteria "feasible". The attractiveness response test by educator 1 was 3.88 and educator 2 was 3.29 with the criteria "very interesting", the response of students in the small group test was 3.53, the large group was 3.57 with the criteria "very interesting" at SMP Mandiri 1 Seputih Agung and the small group 3.57 and the large group 3.60 with the criteria of "very interesting" at MTs Darussalam Adijaya. The product effectiveness results obtained an effect size score of 0.68 in the "medium" category at SMP Swadiri 1 and 0.85 in the "high" category at MTs Darussalam Adijaya so that the module was declared effective for use in learning. Therefore, it can be concluded that the mathematics module with Islamic nuances and the material environment for integers is feasible, interesting, and quite effective in learning.

Abstract

All students should develop their mathematical critical thinking skills to aid their learning and overcome various mathematical challenges. The purpose of this study is to find out how the idea of gamification of IMPROVE learning model affects students' mathematical critical thinking skills. This study used a quasi-experimental design to collect data by using a test in the form of description questions. Normality test and homogeneity test are the two data analysis procedures used. One-way ANOVA test was used in testing the hypothesis of this study. Based on the results of the study, the idea of gamification of IMPROVE learning model has an impact on students' mathematical critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan penelitian ditujukan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbentuk modul elektronik berbasis Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) yang bernuansa islami dan lingkungan pada materi koordinat kartesius. Pengembangan e-modul dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui kelayakan produk, kemenarikan produk, dan keefektifan produk yang dirancang sebagai media pembelajaran untuk peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan jenis Research and Development (R D) dengan model pengembangan Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE). Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan peserta didik kelas VIII MTs yang dikelompokkan menjadi dua kelompok yaitu kelompok kecil sebanyak 26 peserta didik dan kelompok besar sebanyak 56 peserta didik. Hasil validasi oleh ahli materi mendapatkan nilai sebesar 3,56, selanjutnya hasil validasi ahli media mendapatkan nilai sebesar 3,50. Hasil validasi ahli agama pada e-modul ini mendapatkan nilai sebesar 3,50, adapun hasil implementasi pada kelompok kecil mendapatkan hasil sebesar 3,46 sementara pada kelompok besar mendapatkan hasil sebesar 3,27. Uji efektivitas menggunakan effect size mendapatkan hasil sebesar 0,67 dengan kategori “sedang”.

Abstract

This study aims to determine ; 1) differences in the ability to understand concepts and critical mathematical thinking abilities through the picture and picture learning model, 2) differences in abilities to understand concepts through the picture and picture learning model, and 3) differences in mathematical critical thinking abilities through the picture and picture learning model. This research was conducted at MTs Negeri 1 Mesuji. The type of research used was quasi-experimental with a posttest only control group design. Data analysis used the MANOVA test. Based on the research results, it was concluded that there were differences in the ability to understand concepts and mathematical critical thinking abilities through the picture and picture learning model, there were differences in the ability to understand concepts through the picture and picture learning model, and there were differences in mathematical critical thinking abilities through the picture and picture learning model. Abstract

Analisis komponen utama (AKU) merupakan salah satu teknik analisis dalam peubah ganda yang digunakan untuk menyederhanakan suatu data, dengan cara mentransformasi data secara linier sehingga terbentuk sistem koordinat baru dengan varians maksimum, mereduksi dimensi suatu data tanpa mengurangi karakteristik data tersebut secara signifikan dan juga sering digunakan untuk menyelesaikan masalah multikolinearitas antar peubah bebas dalam model regresi berganda. Namun AKU mengalami kesulitan dalam menganalisis data fungsional seperti data Spektroskopi karena jumlah dimensi yang terlalu besar. Untuk mengatasi kesulitan ini, AKUF menyediakan cara yang jauh lebih informatif memeriksa struktur sampel kovarian dari AKU, dan juga dapat melengkapi pemeriksaan langsung dari varians-kovarians struktur. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah menerapkan dan membandingkan metode AKU dan AKUF pada data berbentuk Spektroskopi. Pada data tekator yang ada di software R ini setipe dengan data spektroscopi dapat dilihat bahwa penerapan AKUF lebih baik dibandingkan dengan AKU ini terlihat dari nilai RMSEP pada hasil AKUF lebih kecil dibanding AKU. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa untuk menganalisis data spectroskopi akan lebih baik menggunakan AKUF pada studi kasus untuk data Tekator yang ada di software.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan bahan ajar untuk mata kuliah yang mengintegrasikan matematika, nilai-nilai Islam, dan aspek lingkungan. Tujuannya adalah menciptakan sumber belajar yang menggabungkan elemen-elemen tersebut secara terpadu dan relevan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kelayakan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan serta mengumpulkan umpan balik dari mahasiswa. Model ADDIE digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yang melibatkan tahap perencanaan, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi secara cermat. Terdapat 3 ahli di bidang materi, 3 ahli di bidang media, 3 ahli di bidang agama dan lingkungan turut serta dalam validasi bahan ajar ini untuk memastikan kualitas dan relevansinya. Proses validasi menghasilkan skor rata-rata 87,16% dari ahli materi, 85,7% dari ahli media, dan 84,46% dari ahli agama dan lingkungan pada skala 4 poin. Bahan ajar kemudian diuji pada dua kelompok mahasiswa: kelompok kecil dengan 10 mahasiswa dan kelompok besar dengan 30 mahasiswa, dengan skor rata-rata masing-masing 89,63% dan 88,63%. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar ini diterima dengan baik, dengan kedua kelompok menilainya sebagai "sangat menarik", sehingga bahan ajar tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai referensi tambahan dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan bahan ajar terpadu dan menyediakan dasar yang kuat untuk kemajuan pendidikan di masa depan.

Abstract

The ability to solve mathematical problems can be interpreted as a potential possessed by students so that they can solve mathematical problems in solving mathematical problems. This quantitative research explains the mathematical problem-solving ability of students by implementing the SOLE (Self Organized Learning Environments) learning model and self-regulated learning of students as a controller. This study aims to determine the effect of the SOLE learning model on students' mathematical problem solving abilities by controlling self-regulated learning and the effect of self-regulated learning covariate variables on students' mathematical problem solving abilities, as well as the simultaneous effect of the SOLE learning model and self-regulated learning on students' mathematical problem solving abilities. Participants in this study totaled 61 students in junior high school, with details of 30 students studying using the SOLE model and 31 students studying with the conventional model. The tools used to collect data are questionnaires and essay tests. The hypothesis test uses the one-way ancova test, the result of the hypothesis test is that there is an influence of the SOLE learning model on students' mathematical problem-solving ability by controlling self-regulated learning and there is an influence of self-regulated learning covariate variables on students' mathematical problem-solving ability, and there is a simultaneous influence of the SOLE learning model and self-regulated learning on mathematical problem-solving ability.

Abstract

The ability that can support success in the learning process and can solve various mathematical problems is the ability to solve mathematical problems. This research is related to quantitative research which examines students' mathematical problem solving abilities using the HLT model and mathematical disposition as covariate variables. This research aims to determine the effect of the HLT model on mathematical problem solving abilities by controlling students' mathematical dispositions, and the influence of mathematical dispositions on students' mathematical problem solving abilities, as well as the simultaneous influence of the HLT model and mathematical disposition on students' mathematical problem solving abilities. 70 junior high school students using cluster random sampling, where 35 students studied using the HLT model and 35 students studied using the direct instruction model. The tools used to collect data are a mathematical disposition questionnaire and a description test of mathematical problem solving abilities. This data analysis uses analysis of covariance (one-way ANCOVA). The results of the hypothesis test show that there is an influence of the mathematical disposition covariate variable by controlling students' mathematical disposition and there is an influence of the mathematical disposition covariate variable on students' mathematical problem solving abilities, and there is a simultaneous influence of the HLT model and mathematical disposition on students' mathematical problem solving abilities

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap hasil belajar selama dan setelah pandemi covid-19, dengan mempertimbangkan seluruh jenjang pendidikan dan kondisi pandemi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian meta-analisis. Sampel terdiri dari delapan artikel jurnal penelitian terpublikasi yang dipilih berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan artikel jurnal ilmiah dari database Scopus sebagai data sekunder. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah coding data atau lembar pemberian kode. Berdasarkan hasil meta-analisis, ditemukan bahwa model pembelajaran problem based learning memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap hasil belajar, dengan satu artikel menunjukkan efek besar, lima artikel dengan efek sedang, dan satu artikel dengan efek kecil. Secara keseluruhan, rata-rata dampak model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap hasil belajar adalah efek sedang, yaitu sebesar 0,8783. Effect size pada tingkat pendidikan dasar mencapai 1,061, dan setelah pandemi covid-19, Effect size mencapai 1,002. Kesimpulannya, model pembelajaran problem based learning terbukti signifikan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar, terutama di tingkat pendidikan sekolah dasar dengan kondisi setelah pandemi covid-19. Meta-analysis of problem-based learning in terms of student learning outcomes Abstract: This study aims to evaluate the impact of problem-based learning models on learning outcomes during and after the COVID-19 pandemic, considering all levels of education and pandemic conditions. This study used a quantitative descriptive approach and meta-analysis research type. The sample consisted of eight published research journal articles selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data were collected using scientific journal articles from the Scopus database as secondary data. The instrument used was a data coding or coding sheet. Based on the meta-analysis results, it was found that the problem-based learning model had a significant impact on learning outcomes, with one article showing a large effect, five articles with a medium effect, and one article with a small effect. Overall, the average impact of the problem-based learning model on learning outcomes was moderate, at 0.8783. The effect size at the basic education level reached 1.061, and after the COVID-19 pandemic, the effect size reached 1.002. In conclusion, the problem-based learning model is proven to be significant in improving learning outcomes, especially at the primary school education level with conditions after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This research develops mathematics questions based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) specifically designed to enhance students' higher-order thinking abilities through the context of waste problems. The purpose of this research is to develop HOTS-based mathematics questions within the context of waste issues. This study employs the Research and Development method using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The development stage involves nine validators, consisting of subject matter experts, question experts, and media experts. The implementation stage involves 38 students divided into two groups. Validity, reliability, distinguishing power, and difficulty level of the mathematics questions are tested by having students work on the developed HOTS questions. The assessment of the practicality of the mathematics questions based on HOTS is conducted through student response questionnaires. The validation results from the nine validators indicate criteria of "Very Worthy to Use." The content validity tests are considered valid and reliable, resulting in difficulty levels and distinction powers that meet the criteria. The practicality trial of the mathematics questions based on HOTS with the context of waste issues received "very strong" criteria among the students. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the HOTS-based mathematics questions with the context of the waste problem as many as 20 questions are valid, practical, and suitable for use, because they have met the five requirements or characteristics of good questions, namely validity, reliability, objectivity, practicability and economy.
