Abstract

Abstract: The objectives of this research were to investigate: (1) whose learning achievement and affective aspect of Mathematics are better between the students with the cooperative learning model of the STAD type with contextual approach and those with the cooperative learning model of the TGT type with contextual approach; (2) whose learning achievement and affective aspect of Mathematics are better among the students with mathematical logical intelligence, visual intelligence, kinesthetic intelligence, and interpersonal intelligence; and (3) whether or not there is an interaction in each category of the cooperative learning models and the intelligence types on the learning achievement and affective aspect of Mathematics. This research used the quasi experimental research method. Its population was all of the students in Grade VII of State Junior Secondary Schools of Sukoharjo regency in Academic Year 2012/2013. The samples of the research consisted of 141 students, and they were taken by using the stratified cluster random sampling. The data of the research were gathered through test of learning achievement and questionnaire affective aspect. The proposed hypotheses of the research were tested by using a two-way MANOVA with unbalance cells at the significance level of 5%. The results of the research are as follows 1) The learning achievement in Mathematics of the students of the TGT with contextual approach is better than that STAD with contextual approach, but the affective aspect of Mathematics of the students with TGT with contextual approach is as good as that STAD with contextual approach; 2) The learning achievement in Mathematics of the students with the mathematical logical intelligence is as good as those of the students with the kinesthetic intelligence, interpersonal intelligence but better than visual intelligence, the learning achievement in Mathematics of the students with the kinesthetic intelligence is better than interpersonal intelligence. The affective aspect of Mathematics of the students with the mathematical logical intelligence is as good as that of the students with the kinesthetic intelligence, but better than visual intelligence and interpersonal intelligence, and the affective aspect of Mathematics of the students with the visual intelligence is as good as that of the students with the interpersonal intelligence. 3) There is no any interaction of effect of the cooperative learning models and the multiple intelligences on the learning achievement in Mathematics and the affective aspect of Mathematics.Keywords: STAD, TGT, multiple intelligences, learning achievement, and affective aspect.

Abstract

AbstractThe aims of this research are to find out the different effect of each categories of realistic mathematic approach with task or without task, initial capability characteristics, and their interaction towards students mathematics learning results used realistic mathematic approch. The research used to quasi experimental with 2x2 factorial design. The samples of the research were taken by cluster random sampling technique. Based on hypothesis test, it can be conclude that the learning results used Realistic Mathematics Approach tith task have a better than without task, the learning result of the students who have good initial capability is better than lowerinitial capability, and there is interaction between the realistic mathematic approach with initial capability characteristics. Key Words: Realistic Mathematics Approach; Initial Capability; Learning Result

Abstract

This research aims to know whether there is difference between of the studentsachievement in math by using teaching media with instructional media basedcomputer and printed media (books). This research is experimental researchusing posttest-only control design. The population was all the of the first gradestudents at SMP Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung. The samples of the research weretaken by using the cluster random sampling technique. Data acquisition is doneby testing with data analysis techniques using t-test if the data distributionnormal and homoginity. The result of the research can be concluded that there isdifference between of the students achievement in math by using teaching mediawith instructional media based computer and printed media (books), and thestudents achievements in math by using teaching media with instructional mediabased computer was higher than the students achievements in math by usingteaching media with printed media (books).Keywords: instructional media based computer, printed media, studentsachievements in math

Abstract

Standar isi Undang-undang Sisdiknas Nomor 20 tahun 2003 mengisyaratkan dalam proses pembelajaran, guru harus menyusun bahan ajar yang kontekstual sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan lingkungan masyarakat setempat. Materi transformasi pada sekolah menengah pertama masih dirasa sulit karena pada kurikulum 2013 (K-13) transformasi sudah mulai diajarkan yang sebelumnya ada di sekolah menengah atas. K-13 pada pendidikan dasar dan menengah merupakan penerapan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan tematik yang terintegrasi untuk menghasilkan pembelajaran yang bermakna seperti pada pengenalan motif tapis Lampung. Pembuatan bahan ajar seperti Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) yang diintegrasikan dengan pembuatan motif tapis lampung pada materi transformasi dapat mewujudkan pembelajaran yang bermakna dan hal tersebut bisa diperoleh jika anak belajar sesuai dengan lingkungan sosialnya.

Abstract

ABSTRAKThe jucama model is thought to increase students’ creativity and independence of learning. The research objectives are (1) knowing the application of the jucama model can improve students’ creative thinking abilities; (2) knowing the learning independence of students can improve the ability to think creatively; and (3) knowing the interaction between the jucama model and learning independence on the students’ creative thinking abilities. The research method used quasy experimental design with pretest-posttest control design. Sampling technique cluster random sampling and hypothesis testing using two-way ANOVA. The results of the study can be concluded: (1) the application of the jucama model can improve students’ creative thinking abilities; (2) there is an influence of learning independence in improving students’creative thinking skills; and (3) there is no interaction between the jucama model and learning independence on the students’ creative thinking abilities.Keywords: jucama, creative thinking, and learning independenceABSTRAKModel Jucama diduga dapat meningkatkan kreatifitas dan kemandirian belajar peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ialah (1) mengetahui penerapan model Jucama dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik; (2) mengetahui kemandirian belajar peserta didik dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif; dan (3) mengetahui interaksi antara model Jucama dengan kemandirian belajar pada kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Metode penelitian menggunakan Quasy Experimental dengan desain penelitian  pretest-posttest control design. Teknik pengambilan sampel cluster random sampling dan uji hipotesis menggunakan anava dua jalan. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan: (1) penerapan model jucama dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik; (2) Terdapat pengaruh kemandirian belajar dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik; dan (3) Tidak terdapat interaksi antara model Jucama dengan kemandirian belajar pada kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik.  Kata Kunci: Jucama, berpikir kreatif, dan kemandirian belajar

Abstract

Teknologi digital telah membawa perubahan pada dunia pendidikan, e-modul merupakan salah satu jenis teknologi yang digunakan dalam pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah guna mengatasi masalah pemahaman peserta didik pada pelajaran matematika dengan membuat e-modul matematika berbasis nilai keislaman dan situation based learning pada materi koordinat kartesius. Subjek penelitian pengembang adalalah peserta didik kelas VIII MTs Al Hikmah Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Research and Development, model ADDIE ialah model pengembangan yang diterapkan. Metode yang diterapkan untuk mendapatkan data ialah wawancara, tes, angket validasi, dan angket kemenarikan. Hasil uji kelayakan validator ahli materi senilai 3,62, ahli media senilai 3,48, dan ahli agama senilai 3,58. Pada tes kelompok kecil respon peserta didik senilai 3,53 dan pada tes kelompok besar senilai 3,44 dengan kriteria sangat menarik. Hasil uji efektivitas memperoleh skor effect size senilai 0,67 dengan kategori sedang. Maka dapat dinyatakan e-modul matematika berbasis nilai keislaman dan situation based learning layak, sangat menarik, dan cukup efektif diterapkan ketika pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan bahan ajar untuk mata kuliah yang mengintegrasikan matematika, nilai-nilai Islam, dan aspek lingkungan. Tujuannya adalah menciptakan sumber belajar yang menggabungkan elemen-elemen tersebut secara terpadu dan relevan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kelayakan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan serta mengumpulkan umpan balik dari mahasiswa. Model ADDIE digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yang melibatkan tahap perencanaan, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi secara cermat. Terdapat 3 ahli di bidang materi, 3 ahli di bidang media, 3 ahli di bidang agama dan lingkungan turut serta dalam validasi bahan ajar ini untuk memastikan kualitas dan relevansinya. Proses validasi menghasilkan skor rata-rata 87,16% dari ahli materi, 85,7% dari ahli media, dan 84,46% dari ahli agama dan lingkungan pada skala 4 poin. Bahan ajar kemudian diuji pada dua kelompok mahasiswa: kelompok kecil dengan 10 mahasiswa dan kelompok besar dengan 30 mahasiswa, dengan skor rata-rata masing-masing 89,63% dan 88,63%. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar ini diterima dengan baik, dengan kedua kelompok menilainya sebagai "sangat menarik", sehingga bahan ajar tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai referensi tambahan dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan bahan ajar terpadu dan menyediakan dasar yang kuat untuk kemajuan pendidikan di masa depan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of the Trade a Problem Cooperative Learning Model on students' representation and problem-solving abilities at SMPN 1 Abung Pekurun. The research method used is Quasi Experimental Design with data collection in the form of tests on samples of classes 7C and 7D for the 2023/2024 academic year. This research found that the Trade a Problem Model had a significant influence on each dependent variable with p-value = 0,000 so that p-value  meaning  was rejected. The posttest average for the mathematical representation ability of the experimental class was 88 while the control was 76. In terms of mathematical problem-solving ability, the posttest average for the experimental class was 87 while the control was 74. So, the results of the study showed that: 1) there is an influence of the Trade a Problem Learning Model on mathematical problem-solving ability and mathematical representation abilities; 2) there is an influence of the Trade a Problem Learning Model on mathematical problem-solving abilities; and 3) there is an influence of the Trade a Problem Learning Model on mathematical representation abilities. Trade a Problem Model can be used as an effective alternative to improve students' mathematical problem-solving and representation abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Formulate Share Listen Create learning model on students mathematical problem-solving ability, the effect of self-confidence on students mathematical problem-solving ability, as well as the interaction between Formulate Share Listen Create learning model and self-confidence on students mathematical problem-solving ability. The study employed a quasi-experimental research design with the target population being students in class XI Accounting at SMK Negeri 1 Pekalongan, East Lampung. The sample selection was carried out using a total sampling technique with 32 students from class XI Accounting 1 into the experimental group and 31 students from class XI Accounting 2 assigned to the control group. Tests were used in the findings of this research gathering process and questionnaires, while data analysis was conducted through prerequisite tests and two-way ANOVA hypothesis testing. The study's conclusions showed that the Formulate Share Listen Create learning model has a significant impact on students mathematical problem-solving ability, as does self-confidence. However, no significant interaction was observed between the Formulate Share Listen Create learning model and self-confidence in relation to students mathematical problem-solving ability.  Keyword: Formulate Share Listen Create (FSLC), Problem Solving Mathematics, Self-Confidence
