Abstract

The determinants of adolescents' prosocial behavior prioritize the welfare of others. In this context, cooperation (gotong royong), as a reflection of prosocial behavior, is a core cultural value and part of Indonesian identity. This research aims to examine the role of empathy in mediating the relationship between peer social support and democratic parenting styles with adolescents' prosocial behavior. A quantitative survey was conducted using several instruments, namely Scenario-Based Prosocial Intention Questionnaire (SBPIQ), Empathy Scale, Parental Democratic Parenting Scale, and Peer Social Support Scale. This research included 621 adolescents aged 12–18 years in Semarang, selected through convenience sampling. Data were analyzed using CB-SEM with Mplus software version 8.3. The results showed that democratic parenting styles, peer social support, and empathy significantly influenced prosocial behavior. Furthermore, empathy played a mediating role in the relationship between parenting styles and peer support with adolescents' prosocial behavior.

Abstract

Pedurungan State Kindergarten, Semarang is a model school for the healthy school movement by implementing the principles of nutritional, physical, immunization, environmental and mental health in the school environment. The concept of the healthy school movement is also applied to the learning approach system developed by the government, namely deep learning, which invites students to be more aware, interpret and have fun in learning. One effort to realize healthy learning outcomes, full of awareness, meaning and joy is to invite the involvement of the environment, especially parents. The problem is the lack of parental involvement which is shown in the lack of discipline in caring for and educating children at home as well as conflict between parents which has the potential to have a negative impact on children's friendship and learning situations, resulting in less than optimal learning achievement expectations. The Community Service Team from Semarang University helps provide psychoeducation related to understanding children's conditions and parental involvement as an effort to achieve learning expectations, especially increasing children's independence and interest in learning in accordance with the concept of 'deep learning'. Psychoeducation is provided through lectures and discussions. The results of this activity are shown by increasing parents' understanding of children's conditions, parenting patterns and stimulation to increase children's interest in learning so it can be concluded that this psychoeducation activity can help schools and parents implement deep learning in children.

Abstract

Anak usia dini menangis dan ibu marah-marah bukanlah pemandangan baru di sekitar lokasi PAUD. Penyebab utama dari peristiwa tersebut adalah tidak efektifnya komunikasi diadik ibu-anak. Tim ini menawarkan solusi berupa psikoedukasi komunikasi diadik ibu-anak. Sebanyak 12 orang tua dan Pendidik menjadi peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan ini dengan antusiasme tinggi. Psikoedukasi ini diselenggarakan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah sebagai sarana menyampaikan informasi teoritis terkait karakteristik khas perkembangan anak usia dini dan komunikasi diadik, serta metode praktek berlatih breathing sebagai ketrampilan penunjang komunikasi diadik. Antusiasme tampak dalam kesan pesan yang disampaikan secara lisan, dan evaluasi penyelenggaraan secara tertulis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan t-test terhadap hasil pre-test dan post-test, diperoleh koefisien sebesar 0,403 dengan signifikansi p=0,035 (p<0,05) yang berarti bahwa kegiatan psikoedukasi ini efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman peserta tentang komunikasi diadik ibu – anak usia dini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris pengaruh pencapaian status identitas diri achievement terhadap keterampilan interpersonal pada guru. Subjek penelitian adalah 255 guru SMA/SMK/MA di Semarang. Data dari kedua variabel dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan skala keterampilan interpersonal dan skala pencapaian status identitas diri achievement. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi. Analisis regresi menghasilkan nilai R=0,663 dengan p=0,000 (p<0,01) yang berarti pencapaian status identitas diri achievement guru berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan interpersonalnya yaitu semakin mantap pencapaian status identitas diri achievement guru maka akan semakin meningkat keterampilan interpersonalnya. Analisis regresi juga menghasilkan persamaan Y = 18,244 + 0,880X yang berarti bahwa se-tiap satuan peningkatan pencapaian status identitas diri achievement guru akan meningkatkan keterampilan interpersonalnya sebesar 0,880 satuan.
