Abstract

Empati merupakan dasar dari hubungan terapetik antara dokter dan pasien. Pengukuran empati berdasarkan persepsi pasien menggunakan kuesioner The Consultation and Relational Empathy (CARE) telah digunakan secara luas dan telah diterjemahkan ke dalam beberapa bahasa di dunia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menguji psikometri dari kuesioner CARE versi bahasa Indonesia, mengukur rerata empati dokter dan menguji perbedaan nilai rerata empati antara kategori usia, jenis kelamin, tingkat pendidikan, penghasilan, jumlah keluhan, penyakit kronis, jenis kelamin dokter dan lokasi fasilitas kesehatan primer.Data dikumpulkan dari 336 pasien yang memeriksakan diri ke 21 dokter di 6 fasilitas kesehatan primer. Lokasi penelitian berada di kota dan kabupaten Malang. Validitas konstruk kuesioner diperiksa dengan korelasi Pearson sedangkan reliabilitas kuesioner diukur dengan metode Cronbach’s alpha. Uji beda rerata nilai empati per karakteristik pasien, dokter dan lokasi  fasilitas kesehatan primer diukur menggunakan independent t test dan ANOVA. Analisis data terhadap validitas kuesioner CARE berbahasa Indonesia menunjukkan nilai corrected item-total score correlations dalam rentang 0,623-0,694 dengan nilai Cronbach’s alpha = 0,902. Rerata empati dokter bervariasi diantara rentang 27 hingga 50 dengan rerata total 40,69. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa kuesioner CARE versi bahasa Indonesia dapat digunakan untuk mengukur empati dokter di layanan primer karena memiliki validitas dan  reliabilitas yang baik. Nilai rerata empati dokter secara keseluruhan berada pada rentang rata-rata (average). Tidak terdapat perbedaan nilai empati pada hampir semua karakteristik pasien, kecuali pada parameter penghasilan dan lokasi fasilitas kesehatan primer.Kata Kunci: empati, Malang, kuesioner CARE, reliabilitas, pelayanan primer

Abstract

Kualitas produksi Depot Air Minum (DAM) isi ulang ditengarai semakin menurun dan upaya menjaga kualitas DAM tidak hanya dilakukan oleh pemilik DAM, pemerintah mempunyai kewajiban berperan aktif dalam melakukan pengawasan DAM, namun belum banyak informasi mengenai kendala dan tantangan yang terjadi di lapangan dalam proses pengawasan kualitas DAM. Penelitian ini bermaksud mengeksplorasi aspek internal dan eksternal yang berkaitan dengan kualitas DAM yang tidak memenuhi syarat. Desain penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi dengan paradigma konstruktivisme. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dan studi dokumen, data dianalisis menggunakan analisis tema. Penelitian dilakukan di Dinas Kesehatan, Dinas Perdagangan, Puskesmas, dan DAM pada bulan Mei-Agustus 2017. Hasil penelitian menunjukan aspek internal yang berpengaruh terhadap DAM yang tidak memenuhi syarat terdiri dari sumber daya manusia, proses pengolahan, peralatan, dan higiene. Faktor sumber daya yang rendah menyebabkan proses pengolahan tidak sesuai dengan standar. Aspek eksternal meliputi pengawasan pemerintah, sanksi, dan kerjasama. Pemerintah memiliki hambatan dalam kegiatan pengawasannya seperti kekurangan tenaga sanitarian, alokasi dana pemeriksaan sampel air minum yang rendah, dan beban kerja ganda. Tidak ada sanksi tegas serta kurangnya kerjasama antarlintas sektoral turut berpengaruh terhadap kualitas air minum isi ulang tidak memenuhi syarat. Upaya terobosan baru diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas produksi DAM terutama melalui pengembangan sistem pengawasan terintegrasi yang tidak hanya melibatkan pemerintah lokal, namun juga masyarakat dan konsumen.Kata kunci: Aspek eksternal, aspek internal, depot air minum Internal and External Aspects Related to Quality of Refill Water Station Production: Qualitative Study in Bandung CityThe quality of water production in drinking water refill station (DWRS) has recently been decreasing. Maintaining the quality of DWRS is not only the responsibility of the owners because the government should also playe an active role as the external supervisor. However, few information is available on the obstacles in monitoring the quality of DWRS. This study aimed to explore the internal and external aspects related to quality of drinking water production in DWRS. It was a qualitative study using phenomenology approach with constructivism paradigm. Data were collected through observation, indepth interviews, and document study. Data were analyzed using theme analysis. The place of study was Bandung City Health Office, Trade Service Unit, Primary Health Centers, and some DWRSs with inadequate water quality during May-August 2017. The result showed that internal aspects that related to drinking water quality were human resources, proper processing, appropiate equipments, and hygienic environment.  Inadequate human resource can cause unstandardized process production. External aspects included government supervision, sanctions, and law enforcement as well as collaboration between owner and local government. In conducting DWRS supervisory activities, the government has obstacles such as lack of human resources, lack of funding allocation, and multiple workloads. In addition, the absence of strict sanctions and the lack of cross-sectoral cooperation also contribute to the quality of refill drinking water, making it inadequate. New innovation should be developed to increase the quality of DWRS, particularly development of integrated supervison system which iincludes not only the local government but also the commmunity and consumers.Key words: Drinking water refill station, external aspect, internal aspect

Abstract

Emesis gravidarum adalah kondisi mual disertai muntah pada awal kehamilan. Mual muntah dialami sekitar 50%-90% wanita hamil dan mual muntah pada sebagian ibu hamil menyebabkan hilangnya nafsu makan dan mengganggu kegiatan sehari-hari serta dapat membahayakan kesehatan  ibu dan janin. Terdapat dua cara dalam menangani emesis gravidarum yaitu dengan pemberian vitamin B6 dan akupresur. Tujuan penelitian: mengukur perbedaan intensitas mual serta muntah terhadap wanita hamil dengan emesis gravidarum sedang dan menganalisis pengaruh akupresur kombinasi vitamin B6 dalam menurunkan  frekuensi mual muntah terhadap ibu hamil. Metode : Desain penelitian menggunakan quasy experiment two group pre-post test design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Puskesmas Bojonegara Kota Serang pada bulan Juni sampai Juli 2019. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan  permutation blocked, jumlah  sampel sebanyak 64 responden, 32 responden pada kelompok akupresur kombinasi vitamin B6 dan 32 responden pada kelompok vitamin B6 tanpa akupresur. Hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji T Test dan uji N Gain. Hasil: Hasil analisis didapatkan terjadi penurunan frekuensi mual muntah pada kedua kelompok dan selisih rata-rata skor intensitas mual muntah pada kelompok akupresur kombinasi vitamin B6 yaitu 6,06 sedangkan pada kelompok vitamin B6 yaitu 2,03 (p=0,000). Berdasar hasil analisis menggunakan uji N-Gain pada penggunaan akupresur kombinasi vitamin B6 didapatkan nilai N-Gain skor intensitas mual muntah yaitu 0,91 dalam kategori tinggi, sedangkan pada penggunaan vitamin B6 tanpa akupresur didapatkan hasil nilai N-Gain skor yaitu 0,56 dalam kategori sedang. Simpulan: terjadi penurunan frekuensi mual muntah pada kedua kelompok.  Akupresur kombinasi vitamin B6 mempunyai pengaruh dalam menurunkan intensitas mual muntah pada wanita hamil TM 1

Abstract

Background: Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). One form of prevention is implementing Clean and Healthy Living Behaviour (Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat, PHBS) at the household level. This study aimed to analyze the association between PHBS at the household level and COVID-19 cases at the Parigi Public Health Center, West Java, Indonesia.Methods: This was an unmatched case control study carried out in September–October 2021 with respondents from Parigi Public Health Center, Pangandaran Regency, involving 63 people for each case and control group. Sampling was conducted by the non-probability method. Data were collected using a checklist to measure the implementation of PHBS at the household level. Data were analyzed by statistical analysis, using the Chi-square or Fisher Exact test and Odds Ratio.Results: There was no statistically significant difference between the implementation of PHBS at the household level and the incidence of COVID-19 (p=0.668).Conclusions: The implementation of PHBS at the household level is not related to the incidence of COVID-19. Further studies are needed with  larger population, looking for causal relationship, and controlling for confounding variables.

Abstract

Background: Indonesia still has a high prevalence of hypertension and diabetes mellitus. On the other hand, essential health services were disrupted during the COVID-19 pandemic. Hence, the quality of service still needs to be prioritized. The government also obliges the government-owned primary healthcare facilities (Pusat Kesehatan Masyarakat, Puskesmas) to conduct customer satisfaction surveys to evaluate service quality. This study was conducted to analyze patients’ satisfaction with the chronic disease management program (Program Pengelolaan Penyakit Kronis, Prolanis) provided by Puskesmas in Bogor City.Methods: Quantitative research with a survey approach using the CSI-29 questionnaire was conducted from October to November 2021 on 104 Prolanis participants from 6 Puskesmas in Bogor City, West Java, Indonesia. The variables were 9 dimensions of satisfaction based on the CSI-29 questionnaire. Data was transformed using the Rasch model and analyzed using the Importance-Performance Matrix (IPM).Results: Of the 104 participants, there were 78 (75%) were satisfied with the Prolanis services provided by the Puskesmas. The IPM analysis showed that the dimensions of requirements, procedures, costs, type of service products, and attitudes of health workers had low expectations and perceived performance level.Conclusions: Most of the Prolanis participants were satisfied with the Prolanis services provided by the Puskesmas in Bogor City.

Abstract

Office Syndrome is increasingly common due to sedentary work environments and inadequate ergonomic practices. This condition is characterized by a variety of symptoms, such as musculoskeletal pain, visual fatigue, sensory disturbances, sleep disturbances, and mental stress, which impact workers’ health and reduce productivity. However, the assessment of this condition is often hampered by the lack of comprehensive and standardized measurement tools. This study aims to develop and test the validity and reliability of an office syndrome screening questionnaire that covers seven dimensions: physical pain, muscle fatigue, visual fatigue, sensory disturbances, decreased productivity, sleep disturbances, and mental stress. The study was conducted cross-sectionally involving 47 office workers in the Jababeka area, Cikarang, who met the inclusion criteria. Data were collected using a questionnaire that was filled out independently via Google Form. Validity testing was carried out using Pearson correlation analysis (items are valid if r > 0.3 and p < 0.05), while reliability testing used Cronbach’s Alpha (reliable if α > 0.7). The results showed that all items had a significant correlation to the total score (p < 0.05), with correlation values ranging from 0.416 to 0.697. The highest correlation was found in the items "Decreased work efficiency" (r = 0.697) and "Difficulty concentrating" (r = 0.673), while the item "Muscle tension" had the lowest correlation (r = 0.416) but was still valid. The overall Cronbach's Alpha was 0.745, indicating good reliability. This screening questionnaire was proven to be valid and reliable to measure symptoms of office syndrome comprehensively.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Remaja putri masih memerlukan perhatian khusus untuk terhindar dari anemia. Pengelolaan standar anemia dengan suplementasi tablet Fe masih belum maksimaldikarenakan beberapa hambatan salah satunya masalah kepatuhan karena rendahnya minat dalam konsumsi tablet Fe serta efek samping gastrointestinal yang ditimbulkan. Guna mengawasi seberapa banyaknya TTD yang diminum oleh remaja putri, peneliti mengembangkan aplikasi CEMARA, sebuah alat pencatatan dan pelaporan data elektronik.Tujuan: Melihat seberapa baik Aplikasi CEMARA bekerja untuk menyelamatkan remaja dari anemia inilah yang menjadi pendorong dilakukannya penelitian ini.Metode:  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan desain kuasi-eksperimental. Pengambilan sampel kuantitatif digunakan. Terdapat total 78 partisipan yang dibagi secara merata antara kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian berlangsung selama dua bulan, dari 15 Februari 2024 hingga 16 April 2024. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji independen, dan jika data tidak berdistribusi normal, uji Mann-Whitney U digunakan untuk membandingkan hasil pra dan pasca tes kelompokHasil: Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh, diketahui bahwa terdapat perbedaan penggunaan aplikasi CEMARA sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Secara spesifik, kelompok intervensi menggunakan aplikasi CEMARA sebanyak 32,0 kali, sedangkan kelompok kontrol menggunakan aplikasi CEMARA sebanyak 47,0 kali. Lebih lanjut, kita tahu bahwa penggunaan aplikasi CEMARA setelah intervensi adalah rata-rata 59,0 kali, dibandingkan dengan 20,0 kali pada kelompok kontrol. Nilai sig (2-tailed) untuk perbedaan ini adalah 0,00 < 0,05.Kesimpulan: Terdapat perbedaan penggunaan aplikasi CEMARA antara kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrolSaran: Aplikasi CEMARA berhasil mencegah terjadinya anemia pada remaja putri, dan terdapat peningkatan kadar hemoglobin darah setelah menggunakan aplikasi CEMARA dibandingkan dengan sebelumnya. Kata Kunci : Anemia remaja putri, Aplikasi CEMARA, Efektivitas ABSTRACT Background: Adolescent girls require special attention to prevent anemia. The standard management of anemia through iron (Fe) tablet supplementation remains suboptimal due to several challenges, including issues of compliance stemming from a lack of interest in consuming Fe tablets and the gastrointestinal side effects they may cause. To monitor the amount of Fe tablets consumed by adolescent girls, researchers developed the CEMARA application, an electronic tool for data recording and reporting.Objective: The effectiveness of the CEMARA App in preventing anemia among adolescents serves as the impetus for this research.Methods:  This research employed quantitative methods with a quasi-experimental design. A quantitative sampling technique was utilized, with a total of 78 participants evenly divided between the intervention and control groups. The research was conducted over a two-month period, from February 15, 2024, to April 16, 2024. Data analysis was performed using an independent t-test; however, if the data were not normally distributed, the Mann-Whitney U test was used to compare the pre- and post-test results of the groups.Results: Based on the data obtained, it is known that there is a difference in the use of CEMARA application before and after the intervention. Specifically, the intervention group used the CEMARA app 32.0 times, while the control group used the CEMARA app 47.0 times. Furthermore, we know that the use of CEMARA app after the intervention was 59.0 times on average, compared to 20.0 times in the control group. The sig value (2-tailed) for this difference is 0.00 < 0.05.Conclusion: There is a difference in the use of CEMARA application between the intervention group and the control group.Suggestion: The CEMARA app successfully prevented anemia in adolescent girls, and there was an increase in blood hemoglobin levels after using the CEMARA app compared to before. Keywords: Anemia of adolescent girls, CEMARA App, Effectiveness

Abstract

The prevalence of stunting according to data from the World Health Organization (WHO), is the highest prevalence in the South-East Asia Regional (SEAR), one of which is Indonesia. Efforts to prevent stunting start from pre-conception, by providing knowledge and understanding about fulfilling nutritional intake before pregnancy. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using educational videos to prevent stunting on the knowledge and attitudes of prospective brides in efforts to prevent stunting in Banjarbaru City, South Kalimantan.The research method is quantitative with a quasi-experiment in the form of a pretest and posttest design. The sample is 102 people. Consecutive sampling research. Research in January–February 2023. Data analysis used the Mann-Whitney test. The results showed that the pretest intervention group was 76% posttest using educational videos by 88% with a value of p = 0.002 (p <0.05). The attitude of the prospective bride and groom towards preventing stunting pretest was 56% and the posttest using educational videos to prevent stunting was 84% with a value of p = 0.000 (p <0.05). The effectiveness of educational videos with N-Gain is 60.1% which means it is quite effective.Educational videos increase the knowledge and attitudes of prospective brides in preventing stunting and educational videos are effective in increasing the knowledge and attitudes of prospective brides in efforts to prevent stunting in Banjarbaru City, South Kalimantan.
