Abstract

This study aims to see the potential for developing human resources of Islamic banks in East Kalimantan Province. This research is a qualitative and descriptive research, where the data is obtained through library research. Based on the literature study method that has been carried out, several potential human resource development in East Kalimantan have been found, including a large Muslim population (especially in Samarinda City, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, and Balikpapan City, high value of the East Kalimantan Province human development index, support for education. Sector which is reflected through the availability of Islamic Banking/Sharia Economics study programs / Sharia Economic Law at Universities / Institutes / Universities in East Kalimantan, Stability of Sharia Banking Asset Development in East Kalimantan Province. This makes East Kalimantan one of the areas that have potential or opportunities to overcome the problem of limited human resources both in terms of quality and quantity. Where the expected human resources are those who understand the principles of Islamic banking comprehensively.

Abstract

This study has the background that the capital market has an important role in the economy of a country because the capital market performs two functions, namely as a means for business funding or as a means for companies to obtain funds from the investor community. Second, the two capital markets become a means for people to invest in financial instruments such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds and so on. Thus the community can place funds in accordance with the profit and risk characteristics of each instrument.there are several macroeconomic and monetary factors that can affect stock movements such as the rupiah exchange rate and BI 7 days repo rate. This study aims to determine the effect of the Rupiah and BI 7 Days Repo Rate on the Indonesian sharia stock indekx in the (2016-2019 Period) partially or simultaneously. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method. The object of this research is a statistical report on Indonesian Islamic stock indexes operating in Indonesia and registered in sharia capital market statistics issued by the Financial Services Authority and obtained from the official website of Bank Indonesia (BI). The analytical method used in this study is multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that partially the rupiah exchange rate has a significant positive effect on the Indonesian Islamic stock index and the BI 7 days repo rate has a significant negative effect on the Indonesian Islamic stock index. While simultaneously the rupiah exchange rate variable and the BI 7 days repo rate have a significant positive effect on the Indonesian sharia stock index.

Abstract

The study aimed to analyze the factors that consumer behavior illustrates by Brand Image, Brand Awareness, and Perceived Quality toward brand loyalty and iPhone brand phone repurchase intention. This study was conducted on iPhone brand mobile phone users in Samarinda City with a sample of 125 respondents. To obtain research data used instruments in the form of questionnaires with a scale likert 5. For data testing used Smart PLS (Partial Least Square). After looking at the factors that influence consumer behavior, an analysis of the consumption point of view according to the concept of an Islamic economic figure, Monzer Kahf, associates rationalism, the concept of goods in Islam, and consumer norms / ethics. The results of this study are that brand image variables and brand awareness and perceive quality can explain the formation of brand loyalty with R2 of 0.768 and the second variable of brand image and brand awareness and perceived quality coupled with brand loyalty can explain the formation of repurchase intention with R2 of 0.721. For influence between variables, it shows that the stronger the brand image and brand awareness and the perceived quality on the iPhone brand phone, the higher the brand loyalty and also repurchase intention in iPhone brand phones. However, in contrast, two of these variables, namely brand awareness and perceived quality, negatively and insignificantly affect the interest in buying iPhone phones in Samarinda City. As well as in Kahf's point of view on the factors that influence the behavior of iPhone users in Samarinda City no ethics and morals are violated or still in accordance with the concept as consumers in the world.

Abstract

Abstract Currently, the unemployment rate has increased due to an outbreak of the Covid-19 virus that has attacked the whole world, including Indonesia. The number of unemployment that occurs in each region, it is the responsibility of the government and society to immediately tackle the number of unemployment that occurs. This research is a qualitative type of research using a descriptive qualitative approach. The source of the data used is primary data obtained from interviews with BLK Samarinda. The technique used in data collection is by using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results obtained from this study indicate that the training programs carried out during the pandemic there were 13 vocational training programs running well and effectively. The role of the Samarinda Cooperation Training Center in assisting the government in unemployment is by providing facilities to training participants in the form of facilities, infrastructure and training programs during free training. The obstacle faced during the training was the delay in the implementation of OJT due to the Covid-19 pandemic so that the solution was not required to implement OJT. The view of Islamic Economics on the role of the Samarinda Cooperation Training Center in reducing unemployment is in accordance with the principles of Islamic Economics, namely Kafa'ah, Himmatul-amal and Amanah. Abstract

This study aims to determine the macroeconomic factors that affect the acceptance of Zakat, Infaq and Sadaqah in Indonesia. This study uses quantitative research methods with path analysis. The independent variables in this study are the rate of economic growth, number of working population, GDP/capita, provincial minimum wage. While the dependent variable is the amount of zakat, infaq and shadaqah receipts. The results showed that all variables had a significant effect on the acceptance of zakat, infaq, and shadaqah. However, after going through path analysis, it is known that the rate of economic growth (X1) and GDP/capita (X3) has a negative and significant effect on zakat, infaq, and shadaqah receipts, while the number of working population (X2) and the provincial minimum wage (X4) have an influence. positive and significant to the acceptance of Zakat, Infaq, and Sadaqah. Abstract

Abstract The background discusses in the current digital era, many business people are competing to market their products or services online through social media networks by advertising. Therefore, promotion strategies through social media are indispensable, both for large and small businesses. The purpose of this study was to determine the advertising promotion strategy on social media carried out by PT. Borneo Digital Marketing in increasing client income of PT. Borneo Digital Marketing and knowing the picture of the sharia economy about advertising promotion strategies on social media in increasing the income of PT. Kalimantan Digital Marketing. This study uses field research to explore data sourced from the research location and is descriptive qualitative, namely research that aims to obtain a complete picture of something being researched. Sources of data are 38 sources from interviews conducted with the CEO, 7 employees and 30 clients of PT. Kalimantan Digital Marketing. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the method according to Miles And Huberman, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of the research are advertising promotion strategies on social media used by PT. Borneo Digital Marketing, namely four specific advertising promotion strategies such as paid media vs organic media strategies, performance strategies, intent strategies, and marketing channel strategies. Judging from the tables and graphs of client income, the four special promotion strategies have been able to increase client income of PT. Borneo Digital Marketing. Islamic economics review of advertising promotion strategies on social media used by PT. Borneo Digital Marketing applies Islamic economic principles such as Tawhid, Morals: Shidiq (true and honest), Tablig (speaking truth), Amanah (trustworthy) and Fathanah (intelligent), Balance, individual freedom and justice. ABSTRACT Fitriah, 2023. "The Influence of Beauty Vloggers, Advertising, and Prices on the Decision to Purchase Scarlett Whitening Cosmetic Products in Communities in East Kalimantan". Thesis, Department of Islamic Economics, Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, State Islamic University of Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris Samarinda. This research was supervised by Mrs. Irma Yuliani S.E, M.Sc as supervisor 1 and Mrs. Tika Parlina, M.M. as supervisor 2. The background of this research is that there was cosmetic product brands are increasingly developing with different variants and brands in each beauty company. Many beauty vlogger reviews explain the advantages and disadvantages of a product, the many advertisements that can attract consumers' attention through the models in the advertisement, and the prices that are already listed on a product to influence consumer purchasing decisions. This study aims to find the influence of beauty vloggers, advertising, and prices on purchasing decisions of Scarlett's cosmetic products from the perspective of Islamic economics in the people of East Kalimantan partially and simultaneously. The research method used in this study was a quantitative method to find the effect of the independent variables on the dependent variable. The sample in this study amounted to 96 respondents and the researchers rounded up to 100 respondents who were taken using the Cochran formula. Data analysis techniques in this study used data instrument tests (validity and reliability tests), classical assumption tests (normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, linearity test, autocorrelation test), multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing (t-test, test f, test the coefficient of determination). The results obtained from this study was that beauty vlogger has a positive and significant effect with a Tcount of 2.830 > Ttable 1.98498 with a significance of 0.006 <0.05, advertising has a positive and significant effect with a Tcount of 3.811 > Ttable 1.98498 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05, while the price has no effect with Tcount of 1.724 <Ttable 1.98498 with a significance of 0.088 > 0.05 on the decision to purchase scarlett whitening cosmetic products in people in East Kalimantan.

Abstract

Human resources are a crucial factor in achieving targets and goals in business. One of the businesses overgrowing today is the Muslim beauty salon business. Employees mainly support the success of this business with good performance. However, employee performance is influenced by various factors. This study aims to determine the influence of Islamic work ethic, motivation, and environment on employee performance at the Muslimah beauty salon in Samarinda. This study is a quantitative study with a study population of 15 employees. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and documentation, while data analysis uses multiple regression analysis. The study's results found that motivation affects the performance of employees in the Muslimah beauty salon in Samarinda. However, Islamic work ethic and environment have no bearing on employee performance. Simultaneously, Islamic work ethic, motivation, and work environment influenced employee performance at the Muslimah beauty salon in Samarinda with an influence of 78.6%. Other factors outside this study influenced the remaining 21.4%.

Abstract

The growing interest in Samarinda among tourists, fueled by easily accessible information and transportation, is the driving force behind this study. The preservation of the city's environment and cultural legacy becomes imperative with the inflow of tourists. Sustainable growth requires cooperation between the community and the government. The study intends to evaluate how Muslim tourists using the Mahakam situs toto River Cruise Tour make judgments based on social media, word-of-mouth, and service quality. Through the use of descriptive quantitative research, information is gathered from 100 Muslim visitors who were purposefully sampled using questionnaires. Results show that word-of-mouth does not greatly affect decisions, but social media does. Service quality has a big impact on where people choose to come. Concurrently, these factors contribute to 92.2% of the decision-making process, indicating their critical function in determining Samarinda's tourism environment.
