Abstract

Curriculum development with a technology approach is one of several approach models in curriculum development. The technological approach is considered very relevant to be applied in MI/SD schools because we have now entered the era of the industrial revolution. Therefore, in curriculum development in MI/SD elementary schools, it is necessary to implement a technological approach in curriculum development. In fact, currently an independent curriculum is being implemented which aims to give students greater freedom in determining the course of their learning. This research aims to explore and analyze the use of technological approaches in developing an independent curriculum in elementary schools. The research was carried out using literature and qualitative review methods, namely looking for data from relevant previous research sources, then in-depth interviews with elementary/MI teachers who have implemented a technological approach to the independent curriculum. The research results show that the implementation of a technological approach can increase the effectiveness and efficiency of learning, and can facilitate students in achieving the learning goals that have been set. However, several obstacles were also found, such as minimal access to technology in the surrounding environment or difficulties in integrating technology into the curriculum as a whole. Therefore, the author recommends the need for support from various parties to make the implementation of a technological approach an important part of developing an independent curriculum in elementary schools

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of educational facilities and infrastructure at MAN 1 Aceh Tamiang through the application of management functions, namely planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring and evaluation. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the planning of facilities and infrastructure is carried out in a participatory manner by considering strategic needs and school budgets, although educational technology development planning still needs to be improved. The organization of facilities and infrastructure is carried out with a clear structure and organized division of tasks, involving the principal, vice principal of infrastructure, treasurer, inventory administration staff, and room coordinator. The implementation of this systematic management of facilities and infrastructure has supported the creation of an effective and efficient learning environment, although budget constraints are still a major challenge. This study contributes to the development of an adaptive and participatory model of educational facilities and infrastructure management, as a reference for other schools in optimizing educational facility management in order to improve the quality of the learning process. In addition, the results of this study also serve as a basis for policy makers in formulating more effective and efficient funding and facility management strategies.

Abstract

Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT) is an autosomal dominant disorder characterized by vascular malformations, including Pulmonary Arteriovenous Malformations (PAVMs), which can lead to serious complications such as dyspnea and hemorrhage. This report features a 37-year-old woman with HHT and multiple PAVMs. The diagnosis was established through physical examination, laboratory tests, and thoracic multislice computed tomography (MSCT). A hybrid management approach was applied, including embolization and thoracotomy. The patient underwent successful embolization of the inferior segment, followed by thoracotomy to overcome procedural difficulties. After the intervention, the patient's symptoms improved significantly, with no recurrence. Management of complex PAVMs may require a combination of methods, including embolization and surgery. The importance of early detection and adaptive management in HHT patients is expressed, given the high risk of complications. Embolization is the primary treatment for PAVMs, but in complex cases, surgical intervention is required. This study emphasizes the importance of a hybrid management approach and early detection in preventing serious complications in HHT patients, as well as the need for the development of better clinical guidelines for the management of PAVMs.

Abstract

Juk Ayak is the largest and oldest village in Telen District, East Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan Province. The village is the capital city of the Telen District, however there is a little information about Juk Ayak village in today’s digital era. There are several problems faced by the village, some of them came from village administration, in terms of unclear village border, increasing of land opening for oil palm plantation development initiated by locals, ethics education, and less interest of mathematics in elementary school students. The applied method was initial observations together with village officials and the local community regarding the problems they faced. The next step was to identify problems and collect data on resource potential at the moment. Then, we discussed about possible best solutions by involving all parties as outlined in our planned work program. The result of activities and outcomes from the achieved work program were village website making, writing articles for website content, socializing the importance of protecting forest and land from fires, establishing a fire society care (MPA), designing village map, learning social ethics and the introduction of mathematics in interesting and fun way for kids.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of human resources on employee performance, the influence of the work environment on employee performance, and the influence of human resources and the work environment simultaneously on employee performance at the Samapta Directorate of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police. This research is important to conduct considering that the Samapta Directorate has a strategic role in carrying out police operational tasks that require personnel readiness, professionalism, and support for a conducive work environment. The quality of human resources that include competence, motivation, and work experience, as well as a safe, comfortable, and collaborative work environment, is believed to contribute directly to employee performance achievements. The type of research used is quantitative research with an associative approach, namely to examine the relationship and influence between variables objectively through numerical data processing. However, this study is also supplemented with qualitative data as supporting data, such as the results of observations, limited interviews, and respondents' statements in questionnaires, in order to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of actual conditions in the field. The population of this study amounted to 89 personnel of the Samapta Directorate of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, and the entire population was used as respondents so that the sampling technique used was a census. Hypothesis testing was conducted using SPSS version 27 software. The results of the study indicate that partially human resources (X₁) and work environment (X₂) have a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y). Simultaneously, both independent variables are also proven to have a significant effect on employee performance. The coefficient of determination (R-Square) value of 0.309 or 30.9% indicates that employee performance can be explained by human resources and work environment, while the remaining 69.1% is influenced by other factors outside this study, thus opening opportunities for further research to examine additional variables

Abstract

Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is widely utilized as a primary energy source in household and industrial applications. However, gas leakage remains a major safety concern that can lead to fire or explosion hazards. This study presents the design and implementation of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based LPG leakage detection system equipped with real-time alert notifications via the Telegram application to enhance household safety. The proposed system integrates a NodeMCU V3 ESP8266 microcontroller programmed using the Arduino IDE and an MQ-2 gas sensor capable of detecting gas concentrations between 300 and 10,000 ppm. Performance evaluation was conducted through experimental testing that measured key parameters such as gas concentration detection accuracy, system response time, and data transmission latency. When the detected gas concentration exceeds the threshold of 300 ppm, the system automatically transmits an alert message to the user’s smartphone through Telegram. The results show that the system effectively detects gas leakage events with an average response time of 23.018 seconds and an average data transmission delay of 265.76 milliseconds, remaining below the 300-millisecond standard. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of IoT-based gas monitoring with real-time Telegram bot notifications optimized for household environments, offering a more responsive and user-friendly solution compared to previous detection systems. These findings demonstrate that the developed system provides an effective and reliable approach for early detection and prevention of LPG gas leak hazards.
