Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).Ralstonia solanacearum is a disease that attacks eucalyptus plants which is usually characterized by symptoms of wilting in the tops of leaves and young twigs which will then cause tissue death in plants. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the intensity and incidence of bacterial wilt disease in PT Bumi Andalas Permai Ogan Komering Ilir. With the method of observing directly by surveying eucalyptus at PT Bumi Andalas Permai in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. The survey was conducted by taking samples of plants affected by disease in the field. Sampling method with Transect method. Samples were taken as many as 30 samples measuring 5x5 mm, ooze that was in the sample was taken and then isolated with NA media. Based on research on eucalyptus plants at PT Bumi Andalas Permai, it was found that plants of the EP4136AA clone type in the Air Sugihan district with a plant age of 10 months and a plant spacing of 1.87m per plant and in the Jeletung district with the same clone and a plant age of 11 months and a plant spacing of 1.87m had susceptibility to Ralstonia solanacearum bacterial wilt disease attack. In contrast, clones EP6098, EP0077, and EP0361 in PT Bumi Andalas Permai in Ogan Komering Ilir District are resistant to Ralstonia solanacearum disease. Attacks in both districts show different levels of intensity and incidence, in the Air Sugihan district the intensity is up to (6.063%) and the incidence is up to (16.50%) and the intensity in the Jelutung district is up to (16.688%) and the incidence is up to (17.25%). So the conclusion of this study found that eucalyptus plants attacked by bacterial wilt disease at PT Bumi Andalas Permai have intensity and incidence that fall into the heavy or high category.

(pp. 787–798).  Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).The aimed of this research was to determine the behavior and understanding of farmers in using pesticides based on educational background. Pesticide is a poisonous chemical which is able to ruin human and animal health and also pollute the environment. The use of pesticide has to consider five properness i. e. proper target, proper active ingredient, proper time, proper dosage/concentration and proper equipment. Knowledge is one of factors affecting people behavior, including behavior in pesticide application. The less knowledge of farmers in pesticide application made them use too much pesticide which might cause degradation of environment and pesticide residue in agricultural products which is dangerous to consumers. Method applied in the study was an interview method using questionnaire to 180 farmers, followed by field observation in their field. 57% of respondents had Elementary School background, 20% had Junior High Scholl background, 23% had Senior High School background and one of them had university education background. The average score of pesticide use was 1,92 from farmers who graduated from bachelor, then the pesticide score of farmers who graduated from elementry school, junior high school, and high school had the same pesticide score of 2,39 and all education is categorized as good in using pesticides. The pesticide application score did not correlate with the presence of pest in the field but significanly correlate with the prsence of plant diseases. The highest plant disease intensity (26.55) was found in the farms belonged to farmers with elementary school backfround, while the lowest (6.61) was found in the field of farmer with university educational background.

(pp. 720–730).  Palembang: Penerbit & Percetakan Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI).White Oyster Mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) is a unique mushroom with a high market price, although the cultivation of white oyster mushrooms has become one of the agricultural product development efforts in Indonesia. The purpose of this research was to find out what ingredients are really and how they affect the cultivation of white oyster mushrooms, as well as their development in the blog. White oyster mushrooms have a very high value in food production and cultivation. The use of baglogs is one of our studies in the development of white mushrooms. One important factor in harvesting high quality mushrooms is the durability and quality of the mushrooms themselves. The more optimal the harvesting method, the better the durability and quality of the picked mushrooms. Conclusions are based on the results obtained, taking into account the formulation of the problem and the objectives of the study. The stages of Mr. Eko Supandi's white oyster mushroom cultivation process are making a barn, preparing and making seedlings, making planting media or baglogs which consist of several stages, namely preparation of planting media, mixing ingredients and composting, packaging media, pasteurization, the next stage of seedling inoculation, incubation of seedlings for 40-60 days, baglog maintenance, harvesting and post-harvest.

Abstract

Community Service in IoT-Based Organik Rice Farming Assistance, conducted through demonstration plots. The goal is to address productivity issues in rice farming on floodplain swamp lands. This issue can be addressed by applying a sustainable farming approach that combines technology with organic materials. The activities held with the Tunas Baru farmer group in Kotadaro Village have shown positive results. The group’s 27.5-hectare land, which had low productivity in the second season, has shown improvement due to increased soil fertility and a significant reduction in pest and disease attacks below harmful economic thresholds. The technology used in this program includes pH monitoring sensors, and NPK content sensors, among others. Additionally, the program teaches the production of soil conditioners such as biocompost, liquid Beauveria, and liquid Trichoderma. Over 83% of the farmer group members involved in the program understand the long-term benefits and the potential for increased productivity due to the adoption of sustainable farming practices with a technological approach.

Abstract

Pucuk merah atau dikenal dengan red-tipped leaves memiliki nama latin Syzygium oleana dan termasuk kedalam family myrtaceae. Namun dalam budidayanya terdapat kendala dari penyakit tanaman. Penyakit yang menyerang pada tanaman pucuk merah adalah bercak daun yang disebabkan oleh Cercospora sp. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persentase dari insidensi dan intensitas serangan penyakit bercak daun yang disebabkan oleh Cercospora sp. pada tanaman pucuk merah di Palembang, Provinsi Sumatra Selatan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan melakukan survei dan pengamatan secara langsung pada petani di Palembang, Provinsi Sumatra Selatan. Berdasarkan pengamatan yang dilakukan bahwa responden petani didominasi oleh jenis kelamin laki-laki 90% dan 10% berjenis kelamin perempuan. Umur responden petani dari umur 22 – 55 tahun dengan jenjang pendidikan di dominasi oleh Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) yaitu 50%, Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) yaitu 40%, dan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) yaitu 10%. Pengamatan ini dilakukan 2 lokasi Ilir Barat I dan Alang-alang lebar dengan jumlah tanaman yang diamati dari setiap petani mulai dari 3 sampai 50 tanaman. Pada hasil wawancara terdapat media tanam yang digunakan oleh responden petani, umumnya menggunakan Tanah, Pupuk NPK baik PHONSKA maupun NPK Mutiara, dan Pupuk Kandang, hanya sedikit responden yang menggunakan Pupuk TSP dan sekam. Pengendalian penyakit yang digunakan oleh seluruh responden petani yaitu Dursban dan tidak ada pengendalian lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat insidensi penyakit mencapai 70%-100% dan intensitas penyakit mencapai 9%-34%. Insidensi dan intensitas penyakit pada petani 1, 2 dan 4 yaitu 100% dan 25%, pada petani 5 dan 10 yaitu100% dan 34%, pada petani 3 yaitu 100% dan 9%, pada petani 8 yaitu 100% dan 26%, pada petani 6 yaitu 90% dan 25%, petani 7 yaitu 80% dan 20% dan petani 9 yaitu 70% dan 11%. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat insidensi tergolong tinggi mencapai 70%-100% dan intensitas serangan penyakit tergolong rendah mencapai 9%-34%.

Abstract

In the North Indralaya sub-district, annual crop agriculture, including annuals, melons, and watermelons, relies on conventional cultivation methods using expensive synthetic chemical fertilizers and pesticides to enhance production and combat pests and diseases. This community service initiative aims to educate and implement integrated control practices for sustainable annual crop cultivation while providing knowledge on pest and disease management in Tanjung Seteko Village, Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency. The project, part of Sriwijaya University's integrated community service program, seeks to transform the village into a vegetable center in Ogan Ilir. The activities involve socializing integrated control methods through focused group discussions, practical sessions on biostimulant preparation, and field application. Farmers actively participate, posing questions about optimal annual crop cultivation and integrated control solutions. Preliminary results indicate that combining biostimulants with integrated control effectively manages pests and plant diseases. Continued intensive support aims to enable farmers in Tanjung Seteko village to adopt integrated control practices successfully, contributing to the village's potential as a vegetable center in Ogan Ilir.

Abstract

An experiment is conducted to investigate the effects of cultural techniques on pepper yellow leaf curl disease caused by Pepper yellow leaf curl Indonesia virus (PepYLCIV). The investigation is conducted in the area where the disease has been endemic and Bemisia tabaci is abundant. Four cultural techniques are applied in separate lands and cannot interfere with each other. The methods applied are seed treatment, intercropping, trap cropping, and physical barrier. Seeds harvested from infected plants are used for seed treatment experiments, and local farmers use commercial sources for other experiments. The results confirmed that PepYLCIV was a seed-borne virus affected by hot water treatment at 65oC for 30 minutes. Turmeric crude extract could reduce the incidence and severity of the disease. The tomato is a better intercrop than eggplant, mung bean, and soybean in reducing disease incidence, but their effects on disease severity and yield reduction were not significantly different. Basil and marigolds were better barrier crops compared to cosmos and zinnia. A 125 cm high physical barrier using 50 mesh cheesecloth could reduce the disease incidence, but not the lower ones. Under different cultural techniques, PepYLCIV causes a 40.00–52.32% chili yield reduction.

Dinas sosial dan dinas pemberdayaan perempuan dan perlindungan anak merupakan dinas yang memiliki wewenang didalam penangan dan pendapingan terhadap anak ketika berhadapan dengan hukum seperti yang termaktub di dalam Pasal (4) ayat 2 huruf F Peraturan walikota Bandar Lampung Nomor 6 Tahun 2020 Tentang Pembentukan Dan Susunan Orgaisasi Serta Tata Kerja Unit Pelaksanaan Teknis Perlindungan Perempuan Dan Anak Pemberdayaan Perempuan Dan Perlindungan Anak Kota Bandar Lampung. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui dan memahami Implementasi Pasal (15) ayat 1 huruf O Peraturan daerah wali Kota Bandar Lampung Nomor. 2 Tahun 2016 Tentang Penyelenggaraan Perlindungan Anak dan mengetahui faktor penghambat pelaksanaan Pasal (15) ayat 1 huruf O Peraturan daerah wali Kota Bandar Lampung Nomor. 2 Tahun 2016 Tentang Penyelenggaraan Perlindungan Anak. Metode penelitian menggunakan normative  empiris. Implementasi Perda Kota Bandar Lampung terhadap perlindungan anak mengatur mengenai penanganan anak yang dilakukan secara rahasia terhadap korban kekerasan seksual, hal ini dikarenakan demi melindungi privasi anak sebagai korban pelecehan seksual. Faktor penghambat pelaksanaan Pasal 15 ayat 1 huruf O Peraturan daerah wali Kota Bandar Lampung Nomor. 2 Tahun 2016 Tentang Penyelenggaraan Perlindungan Anak.tersebut yaitu adanya faktor dari dalam dan luar seperti orangtua dan masyarakat, anak disabilitas, dan sarana prasarana.
