Abstract

Water crisis has become one of the major challenges of the modern era, with increasing demand for clean water and decreasing availability of quality water resources. In this context, environmental engineering innovations are crucial to effectively address this challenge. This research aims to explore various environmental engineering innovations that can be used to address the water crisis in the modern era. The main focus of this research is to identify technical solutions that can be applied to improve water management and increase the availability of clean water. The research method used involved an in-depth literature survey to gather information on recent environmental engineering innovations in addressing the water crisis. In addition, the research also involved a comparative analysis of various solutions that have been implemented in different regions around the world. The results show that there are various environmental engineering innovations that can be effective in addressing the water crisis in the modern era, including water treatment technologies, sustainable water resource management, and the use of renewable energy in water treatment systems. The conclusion of this research is that environmental engineering innovations play an important role in addressing the water crisis in the modern era. By implementing these innovative solutions, it is expected to achieve water quality restoration and sustainable increase in clean water availability.

Abstract

Modern infrastructure development faces complex challenges in terms of speed, cost and sustainability. In an effort to meet these demands, 3D printing techniques have emerged as a promising innovative solution. However, there are still few studies that comprehensively examine the application of 3D printing techniques in the context of modern infrastructure development. This research aims to explore the potential application of 3D printing techniques in modern infrastructure development and to provide a deeper understanding of its benefits, challenges and practical implications. The research methods used include an in-depth literature study, case analysis, and interviews with relevant experts and practitioners. This approach allows us to have a holistic understanding of how 3D printing techniques can be applied in modern infrastructure development. The results show that the application of 3D printing techniques in modern infrastructure development has significant potential in terms of construction efficiency, design flexibility, and material waste reduction. However, there are still some challenges that need to be overcome, such as limited materials and standards, and limited availability of technology. Overall, this study concludes that 3D printing techniques have great potential to change the paradigm of modern infrastructure development. However, to fully realize this potential, cross-sectoral cooperation, investment in research and development, and the development of adequate regulations are required to overcome the challenges faced.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the operational performance and facilities availability at the stations for the Jenggala Commuter Train connecting Surabaya Kota with Mojokerto. Through data collection and analysis, this study will evaluate issues frequently experienced by passengers such as improper departure times, delays, overcrowding, and ticket availability. Additionally, it will assess the service provided by the operators regarding passenger satisfaction with the Jenggala commuter service. The next step involves comparing the analysis results with applicable standards to identify appropriate solutions and recommendations to enhance the efficiency and quality of mass transportation services in urban areas of Indonesia, particularly in East Java. It is hoped that the findings of this research will significantly contribute to improving sustainability and the quality of life for communities through the enhancement of existing transportation systems. The operational performance has been assessed through several parameters. It was found that the load factor and punctuality of journeys have met the established standards. However, travel speed has not yet reached the desired standard. Through the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method, an evaluation of the Jenggala commuter train service was conducted by considering both low and high priority service attributes. This aims to ensure that the service performance meets the needs of passengers. The results of the passenger satisfaction level analysis using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) method indicate that the overall satisfaction rating for the Jenggala commuter train service falls within the "satisfied" category. Thus, these findings provide insights into areas where operational performance can be improved and offer an understanding of passenger needs and expectations that can serve as a focus for improvement in the future.

Abstract

Compressed Matter Physics has become an increasingly important field in understanding the properties of matter under extreme conditions, such as those found inside giant planets, neutron stars, and in experiments with ultra-intense lasers. However, although there has been progress in the understanding of compressed matter, there are still major challenges that need to be overcome in understanding the behavior of matter under these extreme conditions. This research aims to explore new challenges in the physics of compressed matter and identify future research projections that can overcome these challenges as well as to improve understanding of the properties of matter under extreme conditions and develop potential applications in various fields, including astronomy, nuclear physics, and materials engineering. This research method involves analysis of the latest literature in the field of compressed matter physics, as well as discussion and collaboration with experts in the scientific community. The results show that there are several major challenges in understanding the physics of compressed matter, including a deeper understanding of the behavior of matter at very high pressures and temperatures, as well as the development of more sophisticated technologies to measure and model these extreme conditions. In addition, we also identify several future research projections that can address these challenges, including the development of new experimental techniques, the development of more sophisticated theoretical models, and the use of more powerful energy sources to achieve extreme conditions. higher. The conclusions of this study highlight the importance of continuing to explore the world of compressed matter to understand the properties of matter under extreme conditions. By identifying key challenges and future research projections, we hope to inspire continued research in this field and advance understanding of the universe at extreme scales.

Abstract

The advent of creative technologies such as game design and virtual reality (VR) has opened new avenues for social innovation. These technologies offer immersive and interactive experiences that can address various societal challenges, from education to mental health. Despite their potential, there is limited comprehensive research on how these technologies are being utilized in social innovation. This research aims to explore how creative technologies in game design and virtual reality are transforming society through social innovation. The study seeks to identify successful case studies and analyze the impact of these technologies on different social sectors. The research employs a qualitative case study approach, examining six social innovation projects that leverage game design and VR. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with project leaders, direct observation, and analysis of project outcomes. This approach provides a detailed understanding of the implementation processes, challenges, and successes of each project. The findings indicate that game design and VR have significant potential to create positive social change. Projects in education showed enhanced student engagement and learning outcomes, while mental health initiatives reported improved therapeutic experiences and patient well-being. Other projects addressed issues such as social inclusion and environmental awareness, demonstrating the versatility and effectiveness of these technologies. The study concludes that creative technologies in game design and VR can play a transformative role in social innovation. By providing engaging and immersive experiences, these technologies can effectively address a wide range of societal challenges. Continued research and investment in these areas are recommended to fully harness their potential for social good.

Abstract

Social media is a tool for searching and selecting information in the form of products and services. The use of social media in Indonesia continues to grow every year, therefore it is widely used by marketers as an opportunity to introduce and offer products. One of them is by creating content marketing and e-WOM. Content marketing and e-WOM are strategies that are considered quite effective in marketing and introducing products to consumers. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of Instagram content marketing and e-WOM on consumer purchasing decisions through the purchase interest variable. The population in the study were consumers of the Ayucitra gallery by monochrome jombang, with a sampling technique using purposive sampling of 120 respondents. Data analysis using path analysis with SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) using smartPLS.3.0 software. Abstract

Human life can never be separated from binding values, rules and norms. In this life, humans show their ethics, morals and also their manners in socializing. Ethics are very important for all areas of human life, including in business. Islam as a religion that is very concerned about its people has also provided clear rules regarding ethics, morals and manners. The purpose of this paper is to discuss Ethics in Islam. Ethics in language is the science of what is bad and about moral rights and obligations. Ethics also means the values of right and wrong that a person holds. Ethics means manners or social behavior. The basic meaning of ethics is ethos (Greek).Ethics is part of the science of philosophy. Ethics is often equated with ethics and morals, but many experts also distinguish between the two.The method of this writing is the Lebrary Riseach method. Abstract

Zakat is an important tool in Islamic economics as a way to spread wealth and reduce economic inequality. Evaluating the effectiveness of the zakat system to achieve these goals in the context of a modern global and complex economy is essential. With increasing amounts of wealth concentrated in the hands of a few and increasing economic inequality, it is important to understand the extent to which zakat can help improve a more equitable distribution of wealth. The aim of this research is to assess how effective the zakat system is as a tool for wealth redistribution in a modern economy. The main focus of the research is to assess the extent to which zakat can reduce economic inequality and improve social welfare in society. This research uses several approaches. The concept of zakat in Islamic economics is studied through descriptive analysis; comparative research on the implementation of zakat in several countries; and surveys and interviews with relevant stakeholders to collect empirical data. The impact of zakat on wealth redistribution and economic inequality is assessed through quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The research results show that the implementation of the zakat system in the modern economy has a significant impact in reducing economic inequality. Zakat is effective in shifting wealth from high-income groups to those in greater need, although there are administrative and social challenges during its implementation. The results of the analysis show that zakat plays an important role as a tool for wealth redistribution in the contemporary economy. However, greater efforts are needed to increase awareness, compliance and administrative efficiency in zakat management to reach its full potential. Therefore, this research increases our understanding of the possibilities and obstacles of zakat as an economic tool in today's world.

Abstract

Innovative and engaging learning is becoming increasingly important in modern education. Gamification techniques, which adapt game elements to learning contexts, have attracted research interest as a potentially effective approach to improving student achievement and learning motivation. This research aims to evaluate the effect of gamification techniques on student achievement and motivation in learning. This research method uses an experimental approach with a randomized controlled design, involving two groups of students: an experimental group that applies gamification techniques and a control group that follows conventional learning. Data was collected through achievement tests, learning motivation questionnaires, and classroom observations. The results of this study explain that data analysis shows that students who were involved in learning using gamification techniques had significantly higher achievement than the control group. In addition, students’ learning motivation in the experimental group was also significantly higher than that in the control group. Classroom observations showed higher levels of engagement and participation from students in lessons that used gamification techniques. The conclusion of this research supports the idea that the use of gamification techniques in learning has a positive impact on student achievement and learning motivation. This shows the potential of gamification techniques as an effective tool in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of learning. The practical implication of this research is that the gamification approach can be integrated into curriculum design to create a more interesting and encouraging learning environment for students. It is hoped that this research can further explore specific aspects of implementing gamification techniques in different educational contexts

Abstract

The elderly patient population is vulnerable to various chronic diseases and has limited levels of access to health information. Effective health promotion programs can improve the quality of life of this group and prevent disease. A health promotion program is a series of activities aimed at increasing awareness, knowledge and healthy behaviour in a population or community. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a health promotion program implemented with elderly patients in clinical practice in improving their knowledge, healthy living behaviour and health outcomes. This research method was carried out using a quasi-experimental design using a sample of elderly patients who participated in a six-month health promotion program at a community health clinic. Data collection was carried out through pre- and post-intervention questionnaires, and data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing. The results of this study show an increase in patient knowledge about healthy eating patterns, physical activity, and stress management after participating in the health promotion program. In addition, there have been positive changes in healthy lifestyle behaviour and a reduction in the number of visits to health facilities due to diseases related to unhealthy lifestyles. The conclusion of this research is that health promotion programs for elderly patients in clinical practice are effective in increasing knowledge, improving healthy living behaviour, and reducing the risk of chronic disease. The recommendations of this study are to expand the scope of health promotion programs in various clinical settings and continue to encourage the participation of elderly patients to achieve optimal health outcomes.
