Abstract

Indonesia is experiencing social unrest because of the emergence of the behavior of racism and intolerance. Mass media social also become the most fertile ground the outbreak of the issue of the behavior of intolerance. Clear impact affect the condition of Indonesia today. All involved in the world of education is necessarily aware that the behavior of intolerance cannot happen. education must respect differences and spread the value of good character through education tolerance in the middle of the condition of multiculturalism become characteristic of Indonesia. The importance of good tolerance education in schools or in universities must be paid attention to education is lost gradually declines but. The world of education must be free of purely from the practice of intolerance. Education is the place grow any differences and foster mutual respect among the differences. Teachers or educators as the spearhead education has a special role in inculcating tolerance in the world of education will become an example to all it broadcasts.

Abstract

Leadership in Hinduism is closely related to ethics. The nature and attitude of a leader is a determinant of the success or failure of a leader in running the wheels of government. Local wisdom is owned by the Balinese Hindu community is very positive to stem the behavior of corruption both in leadership on campus and when plunging in the community. Corruption behavior should not be interpreted as culture and society antipati against it. His young son as the next generation of the nation must be saved from corruption pratik increasingly rampant. The most basic and contextual, which is very close to the life of the community that is tangent to the culture, local wisdom of a society. This local wisdom plays an important role to realize the prevention of corruption is more leverage. Local wisdom asta bratha, 8 good leadership traits according to Hindu concept can be an alternative to moral education in elementary, middle, upper, and college. The nature of this leadership will be a strong moral foundation in education to lead students to a better life without corruption and the goals of the nation and the state can be maximized.

Abstract

AbstrakDalam penciptaannya, sebuah lirik lagu berasal atau terbentuk dari bahasa yang dihasilkan sebagai akibat komunikasi antara pencipta lagu dengan masyarakat penikmat lagu. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana perspektif antiperundungan atau anti-bullying dalam lirik lagu “Sikap Duniawi” Isyana Sarasvati. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan makna perspektif antiperundungan atau anti-bullying dalam lirik lagu “Sikap Duniawi” Isyana Sarasvati. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deksriptif kualitatif dengan perspektif semiotika model Roland Barthes. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa di setiap lirik, baik pilihan kata maupun pilihan kalimat yang digunakan pengarang dalam lagu “Sikap Duniawi” ini kaya akan motivasi dan inspirasi untuk bangkit dari cemooh, dari hinaan, dan rasa rendah diri akibat perilaku perundungan atau bullying. Kata kunci: antiperundungan, lagu sastra, Sikap Duniawi AbstractIn its creation, a song’s lyrics originate or are formed from the language produced as a result of communication between the songwriter and the song-loving community. The formulation of the problem in this research is how the perspective of anti-harassment or antibullying in the lyrics of the song “Sikap Duniawi” Isyana Sarasvati. The purpose of this study is to describe the meaning of the perspective of anti-harassment or antibullying in the lyrics of the song “Sikap Duniawi” Isyana Sarasvati. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method with the semiotic perspective of the Roland Barthes model. The results of this study reveal that in every lyric, the choice of words and choice of sentences used by the author in the song “Sikap Duniawi” is rich in motivation and inspiration to rise from ridicule, humiliation, and low self-esteem due to harassment or bullying behavior.Keywords: bullying, literary songs, Sikap Duniawi

Abstract

The presence of parody or comedy in Bali using Balinese language can be an effective medium to instill the values of character to teenagers, especially millennial generation. The emergence of Balinese rhymes with the name “Hai Puja” in social media is importantly appreciated as one of the media to instill the values of the characters because in parody, Hai Puja insert various moral messages in accordance with the times and easily accepted by the present generation. This study aims to describe the character values contained in every episode of Balinese poetry “Hi Puja”. The theory used in this research is character education theory. This research uses descriptive qualitative design with assisted documentation method and questionnaire. The results of this study conclude that there is a character value contained in every joke uploaded on youtube by Hai Puja. Character values that arise include independent characters, hard work, discipline, respect, and tolerance. All of these character values are very effectively implanted and developed, especially for millenial generations that spend more time in cyberspace.

Abstract

Analisis Wacana Kritis selalu menarik untuk dikaji lebih dalam. Kuasa media dan persepsi publik yang membuat penelitian wacana kritis terus tumbuh. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana analisis wacana kritis model Van Djik dalam program Mata Najwa episode “Semua karena Ahok”? Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan analisis wacana kritis model AWK Van Djik dikonstruksi Najwa Sihab selaku pembawa acara dalam program Mata Najwa “Semua karena Ahok”. Metode yang digunakan yaitu AWK model Van Djik. Teknik analisis datanya menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dan observasi. Teori yang digunakan yaitu analisis wacana kritis model Van Djik, teori media. Hasil dan pembahasan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Struktur makro yang terdapat dalam wacana yaitu kebijakan Ahok, 1,5 tahun kepemimpinan Ahok, reklamasi Pulau G, penggusuran warga bantaran kali dan waduk, pembangunan rusunawa, melangkah menuju pilkada 2017 lewat jalur independen, kepemimpinan Ahok, (2) Superstruktur, bagian pendahuluan dibuka dengan narasi yang memukau, kemudian pembahasan ditonjolkan lewat fakta-fakta yang tersaji, baik melalui video, maupun wawancara secara langsung kepada warga DKI Jakarta yang ikut menilai 1,5 tahun kepemimpinan Ahok, yang paling ditonjolkan yaitu bagian penutup yang berisikan kritik-kritik untuk gaya kepemimpinan Ahok di masa depan untuk Jakarta yang lebih baik, (3) Dari struktur mikro, analisis semantik, pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang diajukan Najwa kesemuanya berisi analisis segala hal yang telah dilakukan dan yang akan dilakukan Ahok untuk tetap menjadi pemimpin DKI Jakarta. Dari segi sintaksis, kalimat tanyalah yang mendominasi pernyataan Najwa untuk menggali informasi. Stilistik yang digunakan yaitu gaya bahasa tegas, lugas, apa adanya, dan transparan sesuai dengan semboyan yang diusung Metro Tv. Dari segi retoris, penekanan-penekanan yang dilakukan Najwa yaitu dengan beberapa pilihan kata dan ungkapan yang semakin mendukung pertanyaan.

Abstract

Satire sekarang umum ditemukan, terutama menjelang perjuangan politik pada tahun 2019. Bahasa satir ini cukup efektif untuk digunakan oleh kedua belah pihak yang saling bertarung, terutama dalam mengkritik. Pernyataan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana menganalisis bahasa sindiran dalam pertarungan politik 2019. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan analisis sindiran dalam pertarungan politik 2019. Metode penelitian menggunakan analisis pragmatis dalam teks di situs mojok.co. Identifikasi ini dapat ditemukan dalam teks artikel di situs. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam beberapa rubrik, seperti esai dan sudut di situs berita mojok.co, ada gaya bahasa sindiran yang sengaja digunakan oleh penulis dengan berbagai keperluan, salah satunya adalah untuk menyindir atau mengkritik dan juga mengekspresikan kritik humor humor. Satire is now commonly found, especially ahead of the political struggle in 2019. This satire language is quite effective to be used by both sides fighting each other, especially in criticizing. The problem statement in this research is how to analyze satire language in political battles 2019. The purpose of this study is to describe analysis of satire in 2019 political battles. The research method uses pragmatic analysis in text on the mojok.co site. This identification can be found in the article text on the site. Research shows that in several rubrics, such as essays and corners in the mojok.co news site, there is a style of satire language that is deliberately used by writers with various purposes, one of which is to insinuate or criticize and also express criticism humor.

Abstract

Pendidikan di Indonesia sedang berbenah menuju kualitas pendidikan yang lebih unggul dan berkarakter. Salah satunya diwujudkan dengan adanya terobosan baru bernama merdeka belajar-kampus merdeka yang diluncurkan oleh Kemendikbud, menyasar pendidikan dasar dan menengah hingga perguruan tinggi. Konsep merdeka belajar merupakan konsep yang diyakini dapat memerdekakan dalam artian positif, siswa dan guru sehingga proses pembelajaran dapat berlangsung secara maksimal. Penulis menemukan bahwa konsep merdeka belajar termuat dalam novel Guru Aini karya Andrea Hirata. Masalah pokok dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana potret konsep merdeka belajar dalam novel Guru Aini karya Andrea Hirata tahun 2020? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan potret konsep merdeka belajar dalam novel Guru Aini. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian deksripstif kualitatif dengan teori sosiologi sastra sebagai pedoman dalam analisisnya. Hasil penelitian ini menganalisis bahwa di novel Guru Aini memuat potret merdeka belajar seperti adanya proyek kemanusiaan, guru dan peserta didik yang merdeka dan bahagia dalam proses pembelajaran serta adanya nilai moral, etika, pendidikan, agama, sosial yang ditinjau dari konsep sosiologi sastra. Education in Indonesia is tending to a superior quality of education and character. One of them is realized with the existence of a new breakthrough called merdeka-independent campus learning launched by the Ministry of Education and Culture, targeting primary and secondary education to tertiary institutions. The concept of independent learning is a concept that is believed to be able to liberate in a positive sense, students and teachers so that the learning process can take place optimally. The author finds that the concept of freedom of learning is contained in the novel Guru Aini by Andrea Hirata. The main problem in this research is how the portrait of the concept of freedom of learning in the novel "Guru Aini"? The aim is to describe the portrait of the concept of independent learning in the novel "Guru Aini". The method used is qualitative descriptive research method with the theory of literary sociology as a guide in its analysis. The results of this study analyze that in the novel "Guru Aini" contains a portrait of independent learning such as a humanitarian project, teachers and students who are independent and happy in the learning process as well as the existence of moral values, ethics, education, religion, social in terms of the concept of sociological literature.

Abstract

Berkembangnya teknologi memberi pengaruh tersendiri bagi pemakaian bahasa, terutama bahasa daerah. Bahasa Bali sebagai bahasa ibu atau bahasa daerah harus terus produktif dan dikenalkan dengan cara-cara kekinian untuk tetap bertahan pada generasi milenial. Kemunculan saluran Youtube dalam bentuk parodi “Hai Puja” penting diapresiasi sebagai salah satu media pemertahanan bahasa Bali. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penggunaan kalimat berbahasa Bali dalam video parodi “Hai Puja” yang telah ditonton ribuan masyarakat sebagai salah satu media yang memiliki kedudukan strategis dan potensial dalam usaha pembinaan serta pengembangan bahasa Bali sejak usia dini. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori sosiolinguistik, yaitu teori pergeseran dan pemertahanan bahasa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode simak, metode cakap, dan metode wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa ada faktor sosiolinguistik yang memengaruhi pemertahanan bahasa Bali dalam parodi “Hai Puja” ini, yaitu (1) loyalitas terhadap bahasa Ibu, (2) sikap bahasa golongan muda, serta (3) penggunaan media sosial yang sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman.

Abstract

This study aimed at describing, 1) form of verbal bullying which emerges in social media, 2) deviation principle of linguistic politeness in verbal bullying cases which arise in social media, and 3) the impact of verbal bullying which emerges in social media. In achieving this goal, researchers used a descriptive-qualitative research design. Subject of this study is a user of social media accounts in facebook, path, bbm, twitter, yahoo, and so on. In general, the object of this study is verbal bullying in social media viewed from the perspective politeness principle. Data collections are colected through documentation method, interviews, and the questioner. The data obtained were analyzed by descriptive qualitative includes three phases, namely, (1) data reduction, (2) the presentation of the data, and (3) verification and drawing conclusions. These results indicate that: (1) the form of verbal bullying which emerges in social media expressed with the intent to be funny, advise, sarcastic, insulting, threatening, (2) forms of verbal bullying deviation in terms of violating the principle of linguistic politeness maxims of wisdom, sympathy, of agreement (compatibility), and awards, (3) The impact of verbal bullying that arise in social media has positive and negative influences.

Abstract

The satire style was chosen to express satire and criticism explicitly. In the style of communicating on social media, satire is also used in making memes. The problem with this research is how is satire language in meme culture on social media? The focus of this research is to reveal how political satire is discussed in memes on social media. The purpose of this study is to examine more deeply how the satire discourse is contained in pictorial texts or purely texts in social media memes. This research is interesting because the satire humor style contained in memes becomes an effective, absurd political, economic, educational, cultural, and other response that is able to shift, eliminate, then reverse and bring up new discourses. This study uses a critical discourse analysis by Norman Fairclough which has an identification that the discourse can be a series of verbal and written words or a series of speech acts. With this knife of analysis, it was found that satire in memes on social media is used in the form of satire and criticism of things that are being viral and how these issues affect social media to the real world. Memes are not seen as silent, passive, and finished texts as they are produced. Memes, on the other hand, are dynamic and moving strategies, through comedy-satire.
