Abstract

The public library of the Taqwa al-Kausar house foundation aims to provide facilities for children's homes and the surrounding community in providing quality reading materials as a result of the many reading interests owned by children's homes, but in its management which includes book inventory, library management systems , the process of borrowing and measuring, is carried out by recording and only done with simple recording, so that many books are available, the management system is not good, the existing books are not found and it is difficult to manage the children's home or the community has borrowed and did not return it, apart from There are many books that are not registered and do not have a book inventory system, meanwhile they do not have a book inventory system, meanwhile library management for librarian managers and staff has never been carried out. So from these problems the solutions to be offered are (1) Building an online-based library information system, (2) Library management training, (3) Provision of online-based library information system support facilities, (4) librarian training. So that with professional library management, you will be able to maximize the potential of the Rumah Al-Kausar Foundation public library which is able to provide stemulus in an effort to increase the love of reading and the professionalism of management and administrators in the future will be a reference for independent public libraries in Sidoarjo.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang cepat telah menuntut pengembangan alat untuk memperlancar transportasi perkotaan, khususnya dalam mengatasi masalah umum kebingungan rute bus di Sidoarjo. Studi ini berfokus pada aplikasi realitas tertambah (AR) di halte bus yang dirancang untuk mengatasi masalah penumpang yang naik bus salah, situasi yang sering menyebabkan pemborosan waktu yang signifikan. Menggunakan metode Siklus Hidup Pengembangan Multimedia (MDLC), yang mencakup tahapan Konsep, Desain, Pengumpulan Material, Perakitan, Pengujian, dan Distribusi, penelitian ini mengembangkan alat AR yang memungkinkan penyebaran informasi rute lebih jelas dan cepat kepada para pendatang. Efektivitas aplikasi ini dievaluasi melalui kuesioner, menghasilkan skor memuaskan 765 dari 900, yang sesuai dengan tingkat persetujuan 85%. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi AR secara signifikan membantu pengguna dalam memilih rute bus yang benar, sehingga meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan transportasi umum. Implikasi dari studi ini mendukung integrasi teknologi AR di halte bus untuk meningkatkan pengalaman penumpang dan efisiensi operasional dalam sistem transportasi umum perkotaan.

Abstract

Background: The advancement of information technology has significantly influenced educational management, particularly in managing extracurricular activities within schools. Specific Background: Traditional methods of managing these activities often lead to time-consuming processes and ineffective communication, highlighting the need for a more efficient system. Knowledge Gap: While various management systems exist, few specifically address the challenges faced in managing extracurricular activities effectively and transparently. Aims: This research aims to develop and implement a web-based Extracurricular Management Information System (SIMAK) to enhance efficiency and transparency in managing extracurricular activities. Results: Utilizing Agile methodology with the Scrum model and the Laravel framework, the study successfully developed the SIMAK application, which supports activity registration, schedule management, attendance tracking, and student assessments. The implementation of SIMAK resulted in improved administrative efficiency, streamlined processes, and increased transparency in information access for administrators, coaches, and students. Novelty: This study presents a unique approach to extracurricular management by leveraging modern technology and methodologies to address existing inefficiencies in educational settings. Implications: The findings suggest that the SIMAK application not only enhances the management of extracurricular activities but also encourages greater student participation and provides schools with better data for decision-making. Overall, the application significantly contributes to optimizing students' educational experiences outside the classroom, promoting a more organized and transparent approach to extracurricular management. Abstract

This study aims to optimize the feature selection process on student complaint data regarding academic services in universities using the Recursive Feature Elimination (RFE) method. Student complaints' diverse and complex nature requires in-depth analysis to identify crucial features that affect service satisfaction. An accurate feature selection process can help universities understand the most frequently reported issues, enabling them to respond and improve services more effectively. The research utilizes complaint data from various aspects of academic services, such as administration, facilities, and faculty interactions. After preprocessing the data to remove noise and irrelevant entries, RFE is applied to select the most relevant features. Subsequently, a classification model is built using the selected features to identify the most significant complaint patterns. Model evaluation is conducted through cross-validation techniques to ensure accuracy and reliability, with metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. The results demonstrate that the RFE method significantly enhances model performance in selecting essential features, making the classification model more efficient and accurate in predicting student complaints. Thus, this study contributes significantly to assisting universities in enhancing the quality of academic services through a more targeted analysis of student complaints. Implementing this method will improve the complaint-handling process and increase overall student satisfaction

Abstract

Darjofans Merchandise is a store that offers various Deltras and Deltamania attributes. The sales system at Darjofans Merchandise is still conventional so that customers are required to come to the store to make purchases and the marketing reach used by Darjofans Merchandise is lacking. To overcome these problems, this research will design an information system for selling and purchasing Darjofans merchandise based on a website so that customers who want to buy products only need internet access without having to go to the store and customers can receive up to date information and will use the waterfal method as software development methods. And data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and literature study. And the results of the research that has been done is that the sales and purchase information system helps shop owners to make it easier for customers to know the products being sold and buy these products without having to visit the store. This information system will also be equipped with an online payment system that is integrated with Midtrans as a payment gateway service provider so that the transaction process becomes faster, easier and more practical

Abstract

Seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi informasi yang merambah ke berbagai sektor, termasuk pendidikan, keperluan akan informasi yang tepat dan cepat menjadi sangat penting. Saat ini, proses pembuatan rapor di SDN Kemiri masih dilakukan secara manual. Metode ini rentan terhadap berbagai risiko, seperti kehilangan atau kerusakan berkas akademik, serta kesulitan dalam pencarian dokumen yang efektif dan efisien untuk sejumlah siswa. Untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut, penelitian ini ditujukan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem Raport Digital berbasis web di SDN Kemiri. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem ini adalah metode WDLC (Web Development Life Cycle), yang meliputi tahapan planning, analysis, design and development, testing, implementation, dan maintenance. Sistem ini dikembangkan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dengan basis desktop. Sistem ini menyediakan modul untuk nilai rapor murid, data guru, data murid, dan data mata pelajaran. Implementasi sistem ini di SDN Kemiri diharapkan dapat membantu dalam manajemen administrasi akademik. Pengujian pada sistem dilaksanakan menggunakan metode black-box testing untuk memastikan antarmuka pengguna mudah digunakan oleh pengguna akhir. Hasil dari studi pustaka ini menunjukkan bahwa sistem rapor online memberikan kemudahan bagi pendidik dalam pengolahan data nilai peserta didik, yang dapat diakses oleh peserta didik dan orang tua secara mudah dan efisien.

Abstract

The purpose of the environmental-based skills training activity in processing inorganic waste for the PKK group of Kepuh Kemiri Village is to equip the community, especially the PKK group, with the ability to process inorganic waste into multi-purpose products with commercial value, namely brooches, picture frames, decorative flowers, tissue boxes, wall hangings, and multi-purpose containers. The inorganic waste processed is plastic, paper, cloth, cardboard, styrofoam, newspapers, and cans. The implementation methods used are the preparation stage, the activity implementation stage, and the activity evaluation stage. The work programs carried out are training in utilizing scrap fabric into beautiful brooches, training in utilizing used cardboard into picture frames, training in utilizing shoe boxes into tissue boxes, training in utilizing used styrofoam into decorative flowers, training in utilizing used cans into multi-purpose containers, and training in utilizing used styrofoam and used newspapers into wall hangings. This activity is able to overcome the problems faced by the Kepuh Kemiri Village community, namely by processing inorganic waste into commercial multi-purpose goods and increasing the knowledge of the Kepuh Kemiri Village community in processing inorganic waste.

Abstract

The Covid pandemic has impacted the tourism industry in Central Java Province, resulting in a decrease in the number of tourists. This research aims to create an application as an information media using Augmented Reality technology and developed through SketchUp, combining text, audio, and images. This application serves as an information source for the Tugu Yogyakarta tourist attraction and its surrounding areas in Central Java. Additionally, it also serves as an alternative to introduce tourist attractions to both the local and non-local communities in and outside of Central Java Province. The application utilizes the Marker Based Tracking method. The research output is an Augmented Reality application for information media that displays 4 tourist attractions, with audio-based information for each attraction. The testing scenario is conducted using the black box testing method (testing the system or its features). Based on the response evaluation, it can be concluded that this information media is considered suitable with a percentage of 94.8%. Therefore, this application can be used as an effective information media.

Abstract

The digital divide between urban and rural areas in Indonesia remains a significant challenge in the current digital era, with limited internet access in remote regions hindering economic, educational, and social progress. This research aims to develop a wireless LAN-based RT/RW Net system as a solution to enhance efficient and affordable internet access. The system utilizes point-to-point access between regions using specialized routers to overcome geographical and physical barriers, thereby enabling internet access in hard-to-reach areas. By leveraging WiFi 5 technology as a solution for better range and performance, along with ease of operation and affordable construction costs, the system is designed for efficiency. Device configuration is carried out using the built-in application of the TP-Link EAP 110 router, facilitating easier and more efficient management. The PPDIOO (Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, Optimize) research methodology is chosen as the approach for developing the RT/RW Net network. The advantages of this method include structured and systematic design capabilities, greater flexibility in meeting design needs, and the ability to optimize the quality of the network once it is operational. This method can also analyze and build networks according to local geographical conditions. Expected outcomes include improved quality and reliability of the RT/RW Net network, provision of cheaper and more convenient internet access for communities, and contributions to a more equitable dissemination of information and communication technology across Indonesia, enabling communities to enjoy better access to information, broader educational opportunities, and enhanced economic prospects.
