Abstract

Menstrual cycle irregularity is a common reproductive health issue among adolescents. Various factors, including psychological stress, nutritional status, and sleep quality, have been reported to Influence the regularity of the menstrual cycle. this studi to analize the relationship between stress levels, nutritional status, and sleep quality with menstrual cycle regularity in adolescents. The results, The study showed that 40% of respondents experienced irregular menstrual cycles. Stress was significantly associated with menstrual irregularity (p=0.002), adolescents with high stress were 3.1 times more likely to have irregular cycles. Poor nutrition was also correlated (p=0.015), with undernourished adolescents being 2.4 times more likely to experience irregular cycles. Poor sleep quality had a significant relationship as well (p=0.008), with poor sleepers being 2.9 times more likely to have irregular cycles.

Abstract

Introduction: Menstruation is a physical symptom that occurs in women of reproductive age and can have an impact on daily life. Menstrual Wellbeing Education and Digital-Based Holistic Therapy uses an innovative approach to support women's health and well-being through digital technology. These therapies touch on physical, emotional, and mental aspects by utilizing digital platforms such as applications, videos, and virtual consultations. Objective: to increase women's knowledge and understanding of menstrual cycles, hormonal changes, common symptoms, and pain and emotional management. This approach also seeks to reduce stigma and myths related to menstruation. Methods: This activity consists of a pre-test before counseling, followed by perception with participants, educational stages with the viewing of an educational video, providing information on examples of digital media, such as mobile applications, social media, websites, and virtual consultations. Results: This counseling activity has a positive impact and achieves goals in the form of increasing knowledge, changing attitudes, and promoting more positive behaviors. Conclusion: Digital health products, and in particular menstrual health apps, have the potential to make a positive difference due to their scalability and ease of access

Abstract

Latar belakang: Untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat tentang pentingnya nutrisi ibu hamil untuk tumbuh kembang optimal bayi adalah dengan memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat baik secara individu maupun kelompok. Tujuan: Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat tentang pentingnya nutrisi ibu hamil untuk tumbuh kembang optimal bayi. Metode: Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di Desa Badegan Kabupaten Ponorogo dengan melakukan pretest, memberikan edukasi kepada ibu hamil dan memberikan post-test. Hasil: Dari 20 responden, sebelum diberikan edukasi sebagian besar pengetahuan responden dalam kategori cukup yaitu 11 responden (58,3%), setelah diberi edukasi, hampir seluruh responden pengetahuannya dalam kategori  baik, yaitu 18 responden (91,7%). Kesimpulan: Edukasi tentang pentingnya nutrisi ibu hamil untuk tumbuh kembang optimal bayi sangat efektif sehingga pengetahuan responden baik. Kerjasama dengan pihak-pihak terkait sangat penting dalam upaya peningkatan kesehatan ibu hamil secara holistik. Kata kunci: ibu hamil, nutrisi, pengetahuan, tumbuh kembang ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Abstract Background: To increase public knowledge and understanding of the importance of nutrition for pregnant women for optimal growth and development of babies is to provide counseling to the community both individually and in groups. Objective: This community service aims to increase public knowledge and understanding of the importance of nutrition for pregnant women for optimal growth and development of babies. Method: This community service was carried out in Badegan Village, Ponorogo Regency by conducting a pretest, providing counseling to pregnant women, and giving a post-test. Result: Of the 20 respondents, before being given knowledge counseling, most of the respondents were in the sufficient category, namely 11 respondents (58.3%), after being given counseling, almost all of the respondents' knowledge was in the good category, namely 18 respondents (91.7%). Conclusion: Counseling about the importance of nutrition for pregnant women for optimal growth and development of babies is very effective so the knowledge of the respondents is good. Collaboration with related parties is very important in efforts to improve the health of pregnant women holistically. Keywords: pregnant women, nutrition, knowledge,  growth and development

Abstract

Masa nifas merupakan periode penting dalam kehidupan perempuan yang dimulai segera setelah persalinan hingga enam minggu (42 hari) pascapersalinan. Pada fase ini terjadi berbagai perubahan fisiologis, psikologis, dan sosial yang memerlukan adaptasi optimal agar ibu dapat mencapai kondisi kesehatan yang baik dan berdaya. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman ibu nifas mengenai perubahan, kebutuhan, dan perawatan selama masa nifas melalui kegiatan Kelas Ibu Bahagia. Metode yang digunakan adalah diskusi dua arah partisipatif. Sasaran kegiatan adalah seluruh ibu nifas di Desa Blabak, Kecamatan Kandat, Kabupaten Kediri, dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 15 orang. Materi yang diberikan meliputi pengertian masa nifas, perubahan fisiologis dan psikologis selama masa nifas, kebutuhan dasar ibu nifas, serta senam nifas. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden (>67%) mengalami peningkatan pemahaman mengenai masa nifas, perubahan yang terjadi, serta kebutuhan yang harus dipenuhi selama masa nifas. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan keaktifan responden dalam diskusi, di mana sebanyak 67% responden mampu mengajukan pertanyaan dan memberikan tanggapan terkait materi yang disampaikan. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa edukasi melalui Kelas Ibu Bahagia efektif meningkatkan pemahaman ibu nifas, sehingga diharapkan ibu mampu menerapkan informasi yang diperoleh dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Dengan demikian, tujuan mewujudkan ibu nifas yang sehat dan berdaya dapat tercapai.

Abstract

Background: Kasus COVID-19 di Indonesia masih terus ada dan mengalami pasang surut, salah satunya di Kabupaten Klaten. Keterbatasan petugas kesehatan dan rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat dalam menerapkan protokol kesehatan menjadi salah satu penyebab masih adanya kasus COVID-19 di Kabupaten Klaten. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan peran kader kesehatan dalam membantu meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat menerapkan protokol kesehatan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan bekerjasama dengan Puskesmas Trucuk 1 dan Puskesmas Trucuk 2. Peserta kegiatan berjumlah 60 orang perwakilan seluruh Desa di Kecamatan Trucuk. Metode: Metode yang digunakan Focus Group Discussion, workshop serta pelatihan yang dilakukan pada bulan November-Desember 2021. Hasil kegiatan yaitu ada peningkatan pemahaman peserta setelah dilakukan kegiatan workshop dan pelatihan. Hasil: Pelatihan dengan praktik simulasi menambah wawasan peserta dalam melakukan edukasi kepada masyarakat. Kesimpulan: Peran kader kesehatan dapat menjadi solusi dalam menyadarkan masyarakat.

Abstract

Maternal mortality and infant mortality are indicators of good and bad health services in a country or region. The higher the maternal mortality rate indicates poor health services. One of the efforts made to reduce MMR is by encouraging every birth to be attended by trained health workers in health service facilities. The aim of this research was to determine the perceptions of pregnant women in the third trimester regarding preparation for childbirth in health facilities and traditional birth attendants at Polindes Murano. The research method used is a qualitative research method which is research on the conditions of natural objects where the researcher is the key instrument. The selection of research informants used the purposive method. There were 8 research informants, 5 key informants and 2 traditional shamans and 1 midwife.The research results showed that there were several informants who still chose to give birth at home with the help of midwives and traditional healers. There are several influencing factors, including distance from home and ancestral traditions. People trust shamans more because shamans are considered to have spiritual powers in assisting childbirth so that the birthing process runs smoothly. Traditional healers have known how to help with childbirth for generations. The midwife realizes that the beliefs held by the community at Polindes Murano cannot be changed in a short time, so the midwife hopes that the midwife can partner with the shaman in assisting with childbirth.Pregnant women can provide information about helpers and safe birthing places.

Abstract

Anemia is a condition where the number of red blood cells in the body is insufficient. Usually due to malnutrition (iron). Adolescent girls have a higher risk of experiencing anemia compared to adolescent boys because adolescent girls menstruate every month which puts them at risk of losing iron. Beetroot made into pudding can be  a non pharmacological alternative in treating anemia. The purpose of this study was determine the effect of giving beetroot pudding on increasing hemoglobin levels in adolescent girls with anemia at the Paopale Daya-Madura health clinic. This tipe of research is quantitative, using a Quasi Experimental method with a one group pre test post test. The sampling technique in this study was Purposive sampling and obtained 30 respondents with anemia. The sample was obtained according to the inclusion by interview.
