Abstract

This reseach aims to determine the relationship between obesity and blood lipid levels in patients who seek treatment at Hospital Haji Medan. The research uses descriptive method that is a picture of the number of people to pull data directly from secondary data sources, namely the medical records of all patients treated at the Hospital Haji Medan. Parameters measured were patient age, sex and analyzing the increasing number of patients from 2012 to 2013. The results showed that the samples of patients who are obese biggest is 41-60 year age range that is equal to 44.15%, normal conditions alone amounted to 25. 98%. The second age range who are obese in this study were 61-80 years is 11.04% and normal as much as 8.44 percent, and the third at 21-40 years of age as much as 1.95 obesity and 8.44% for normal conditions , obesity among men and women obtained the highest percentage calculations for obesity is on the female is 46.75% while the male percentage of 13.64%. Obesity  patients have cholesterol levels > 200 for a total percentage of 48.05%, while patients with normal conditions of 9.09%. Based on the age of the highest number of obese in the age group 41-60 years, while based on gender, obese women more than men.

Abstract

Abstract: This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes Civics fourth grade (IV) students SDN 020 Padang Mutung with average value 60.68 (with KKM 70). The purpose of this research was to improve civics learning outcomes of the fourth grade (IV) students of SDN 020 Padang Mutung Kampar districts with the implementation of cooperative STAD type learning model. This research was classroom action with two cycles. The subjects were students of class IV SDN 022 Padang Mutung academic year 2015/2016 whict amounted to 22 people consisting of 10 male students and 12 female students. Based on the result an analysis the observation of teachers and students' activity sheet has increased at every meeting. Teacher’s activity with the implementation of cooperative STAD type learning model at first meeting of the first cycle was 66.66% (good), and the second meeting of the first cycle of 75% (good), At second cycle, Teacher’s activity at first meeting of first cycle was 91.66% (very good ) and the second meeting was 95.83% (very good). Students activities at first meeting of the first cycle was54.16% (enough) and the second meeting was 70.83% (good), At second cycle, student activities at first meeting was 83.33% (very good), and second meeting was 95.85 % (very good). Civics learning outcomes before implementation cooperative STAD type learning model average 60.68, after implementation of cooperative STAD type learning model (UH) I was 68.40 that improve of 12.72% , and the UH II was 82.95 that improve of 36.36%. Based on this it can be concluded that the application of cooperative STAD type learning model can improved civics learning outcomes of the fourth grade (IV) students students SDN 020 Padang Mutung Kampar District.Keywords: Cooperative Learning Model Type stad, Civics studies students achievement

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada seluruh profesional disekitar siswa seperti orangtua, guru dan teman sebaya tentang pentingnya mendorong motivasi siswa yang akan mempengaruhi tingkat keterlibatan siswa di sekolah. Tujuan khusus dari penelitian ini yakni menguji hubungan antara dukungan sosial dan keterlibatan siswa di sekolah yang dimediasi oleh motivasi berprestasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional. Variabel dependen (Y) yakni keterlibatan siswa diukur dengan the school engagement index. Sedangkan variabel idependen (X) yakni dukungan sosial diukur menggunakan skala child and adolescents social support (CASS). Variabel mediasi adalah motivasi berprestasi diukur denganthe Achievement Motive Scale. Data dianalisa dengan menggunakan nalisis jalur. Subjek penelitian yakni siswa kelas XII Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 3 Palopo sebanyak 120 orang siswa dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik proportional sampling.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial, motivasi berprestasi dan keterlibatan siswa di sekolah. Sedangkan motivasi berprestasi tidak menjadi mediasi pada hubungan tersebut, hal tersebut dilihat dari angka hubungan langsung yang lebih besar dibandingkan hubungan tidak langsung.

Abstract

Kampus Mengajar merupakan kanal pembelajaran yang memberikan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk belajar di luar kampus selama satu semester guna melatih kemampuan menyelesaikan permasalahan yang kompleks dengan menjadi mitra guru untuk berinovasi dalam pembelajaran, pengembangan strategi, dan model pembelajaran yang kreatif, inovatif, dan menyenangkan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Implementasi Program Kampus Mengajar Dalam Meningkatkan Literasi Dan Numerasi Murid Sdn Kip Maccini, berdasarkan hasil penelitian ada beberapa faktor yang mendunkung literasi dan numerasi siswa di SDN KIP Maccini yang dimana dari kesepuluh informan berpandangan bahwa dengan adanya program kampus mengajar yang bertujaun meningkatkan literasi dan numerasi siswa SDN KIP Maccini

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of spiritual values in strengthening the religious character of students. This study is very important to research considering that religious character is an essential value to create a strong and superior generation of the nation. This study uses qualitative research with a descriptive case study approach. Collecting data using observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects in this study were five students at a private university in Bandung, Indonesia. Data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, presentation, verification, and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that spiritual values can be used as a strategy to strengthen students' religious character. Thus, the field of education cannot be separated from spiritual values to strengthen the religious character of generations of people who are responsible, independent, moral and have noble character so that they contribute to religion and the state.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the application of the role playing learning model in developing social care character in class V students at UPT SPF SDN Mangkura I Makassar City in social studies subjects. Using qualitative research methods, this research involved the Principal, Class Teacher, and 5 students. The research results show that the role playing learning model significantly improves students' social care character, increases their sensitivity to social issues, and encourages active participation in group activities that require cooperation and empathy. This model also makes it easier for students to understand abstract social concepts through direct practice in situations that are relevant to everyday life. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of implementing interactive and participatory learning methods in forming students' positive character.

Abstract

Education is the main aspect that can have an impact on the survival of individuals. For this reason, the right time to start education is during childhood. Children are parents' investment in the hereafter. So that children's education will be the main concern, especially in the aspect of Islamic education. The Qur'an is the main source of reference, collected in it various explanations of the concept of education. This study aims to determine the concept of child education in the Qur'an surah Luqman verses 12-15 through tarbawi tafsir analysis by presenting lughowi analysis according to the opinions of the mufassirs. The research method used is library research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of data analysis found that: (1) Education given to children is tawhid education, namely introducing the oneness of Allah SWT, worship education as an embodiment of tawhid education and moral education, one of which is doing good to both parents. (2) Child education is carried out with good communication and language full of affection, like Luqman who calls his son "yabunayya".

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan muatan nilai-nilai spiritualitas dalam menguatkan karakter religius mahasiwa. Kajian ini sangat penting untuk diteliti mengingat karakter religius merupakan nilai esensial untuk mencetak generasi tangguh dan generasi unggul bangsa. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus yang bersifat deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah lima orang mahasiswa di salah satu perguruan tinggi swasta di Bandung, Indonesia. Data dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi da-ta, penyajian, verifikasi, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai spiritualitas dapat dijadikan strategi untuk memperkuat karakter religius mahasiswa. Dengan demikian, bidang pendidikan tidak dapat dipisahkan dari nilai-nilai spiritualitas un-tuk menguatkan karakter religius generasi bangsa yang bertanggung jawab, mandiri, ber-moral dan berakhlak mulia sehingga berkontribusi pada agama dan negara.

Abstract

Introduction: Edema is a common sign of inflammation characterized by increased tissue volume. Tithonia diversifolia leaves have traditionally been used as anti-inflammatory agents because they contain active compounds such as flavonoids, alkaloids, steroids, terpenoids, tannins, sesquiterpenoids, phenolic acids, and saponins. Aims: Determine the anti-inflammatory effects of ethanol extract of Tithonia diversifolia leaves on rats (Mus musculus) induced by carrageenan. Method: Extraction was carried out using maceration. The experimental design was pre- and post-test with five groups: healthy controls, positive controls (sodium diclofenac), and three treatment groups receiving 12.5 mg/30 gBW, 25 mg/30 gBW, and 37.5 mg/30 gBW of Tithonia diversifolia leaf extract. Edema was induced with carrageenan and measured using a plethysmometer at certain intervals. Result: The results showed that a dose of 37.5 mg/30 gBW significantly decreased edema volume, comparable to the diclofenac group (p>0.05). Conclusion: The ethanol extract of paitan leaves at this dose can function as an effective anti-inflammatory agent.

Abstract

Pendidikan dan pengetahuan gizi ibu yang rendah merupakan salah satu faktor penyebab terjadinya stunting pada anak dan selama ini upaya peningkatan gizi dilakukan ketika ibu sudah hamil, padahal akan lebih baik jika pendidikan gizi dilakukan ketika sebelum hamil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pemanfaatan buku saku digital berbasis android terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dalam pencegahan stunting sejak prakonsepsi pada remaja di Wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tompobulu Kabupaten Gowa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian adalah remaja putri usia 15-18 tahun. Instrument penelitian berupa kuesioner tingkat pengetahuan remaja tentang stunting. Data dianalisis dengan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 178 responden dijadikan sampel didapatkan nilai p=0,000 < a=0,05, ini berarti H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sehingga pemanfaatan buku saku digital berbasis android memiliki efektivitas yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan remaja dalam pencegahan stunting sejak prakonsepsi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tompobulu Kabupaten Gowa.
