Abstract

Salep ekstrak biji ketumbar dibuat dalam 3 formulasi yaitu F1 (formulasi salep mengandung sebanyak 4 gram ekstrak etanol ketumbar), F2 (formulasi salep mengandung sebanyak 6 gram ekstrak etanol ketumbar), F3 (formulasi salep mengandung sebanyak 8 gram ekstrak etanol ketumbar). Kata kunci: biji ketumbar, sediaan salep, luka sayat, mencitThis study aims to determine the wound healing activity of coriander seed extract ointment in mice infected with Staphyloccus aureus bacteria. The method used in this study is experimental. Coriandrum sativum seed extract ointment is made in 3 formulations. F1 (ointment formulation contains as much as 4 grams of coriandrum sativum ethanol extract), F2 (ointment formulation contains as much as 6 grams of coriandrum sativum ethanol extract), F3 (ointment formulation contains as much as 8 grams of coriandrum sativum ethanol extract). As a negative control is the basis of ointment without the content of coriandrum sativum seed extract and as a positive control there is hydroartison ointment. The results showed that the healing of my sores on mice using ointments with formulations of as much as 8 grams of coriandrum sativum ethanol extract provided effective results against the healing of my sores on mice compared to ointments with FI and FII formulations. The conclusion of this study is that the preparation of coriandrum sativum seed extract ointment has good activity against the healing of sores in mice infected with staphlococcus aureus bacteria. Keywords: Coriandrum sativum, Staphylococcus aureus, ointment

Abstract

Advances in biomedical science such as stem cells offer great potential in the field of health, especially for regenerative therapy and the treatment of degenerative diseases. However, behind these benefits lie various ethical and moral issues related to the origin of the tissue used for stem cells. For example, embryonic stem cells used for therapy and research raise various issues from different perspectives, such as religion, law, society, and science. Through a systematic literature review focusing on stem cell research and therapy from an ethical perspective, using a qualitative descriptive approach, in-depth information was gathered related to the concepts, moral values, and bioethical controversies that have arisen in the development of stem cell science. This study discusses stem cells from various perspectives, such as law, religion, society, science, including regulatory provisions in Indonesia. This study also reviews the development of stem cell bioethics, which began with moral issues related to the sources of stem cells used, such as the use of human embryos, to the existence of more ethical alternative solutions such as induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). The application of stem cell therapy and research must be carried out in accordance with bioethical principles and principles that respect human dignity, so that its application is carried out responsibly and humanely. Thus, stem cells can provide optimal benefits and welfare for humanity.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the critical thinking ability of eleventh-grade students in Fiqh subject and to describe the efforts of the Fiqh teacher in developing those abilities, including the supporting and inhibiting factors at Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Bola, South Buton Regency. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation study, then analyzed using the interactive analysis model of Miles, Huberman, and SaldaƱa, and validated through source triangulation and technique triangulation. The findings reveal that students' critical thinking ability generally remains at a medium-to-low category, characterized by limitations in deeply analyzing Fiqh problems, constructing well-structured arguments, and independently evaluating legal opinions. The Fiqh teacher has made various developmental efforts through group discussions, HOTS-based questioning, and contextual case studies; however, the implementation has not been fully optimal due to time constraints, the dominance of lecture methods, significant heterogeneity in students' abilities, and the lack of varied learning resources. This study affirms that the gap between the efforts undertaken and the outcomes achieved requires more systematic, structured, and institutionally policy-based learning interventions. These findings contribute to the achievement of SDGs Goal 4 on inclusive and equitable quality education, particularly in promoting the equitable quality of critical thinking learning in private madrasah in remote island areas that have long been overlooked by educational research and national education policy.
