Abstract

A sedentary lifestyle is a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease, especially in women who are overweight. High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) has been known as an effective exercise method in improving cardiometabolic health. This study aims to analyze the effect of HIIT on total cholesterol levels in overweight women with a sedentary lifestyle. The research method used an experimental design with two groups, namely the treatment group that underwent a HIIT program for several weeks and the control group that did not undergo exercise. The results showed that there was a significant difference in changes in total cholesterol levels between the treatment group and the control group, where the group that did HIIT experienced a greater decrease in cholesterol levels. These findings support that HIIT has the potential to be an effective intervention to lower total cholesterol levels in populations at risk of cardiovascular disorders. HIIT can be a practical and efficient alternative for individuals with limited time to manage their heart and metabolic health.

Abstract

Pembelajaran dan pengembangan pelatih telah menjadi topik yang menarik minat, menganalisis situasi dan keterampilan yang berbeda dengan tujuan akhir untuk mendukung efisiensi pelatih selama latihan rutin sehari-hari. Analisis situasi mendapati kurangnya aspek terhadap profesionalisme dan praktik latihan yang tidak terkontrol sebagai faktor utama yang menyebabkan rendahnya pemahaman pada pelatih. Melalui program ini, yang pada dasarnya melihat dari analisis situasi, tujuannya adalah meningkatkan kualitas praktik dan membentuk karakter profesional pada pelatih renang. Metode pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan adalah dengan pendekatan peningkatan pemahaman terhadap suatu masalah yang melibatkan partisipasi aktif dari masyarakat lokal dalam identifikasi, analisis, dan penyelesaian masalah. Program ini dilakukan dengan tes awal, kemudian diberikan pemahaman materi melalui seminar, serta tes akhir untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman pelatih. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan penerapan nilai-nilai praktik dan profesional pada pelatih, terutama dalam aspek Long Term Athlete Development (86,7%), Performance Analysis (83,4%), Evaluasi Diri (33,4%), Pengembangan Pelatih (11,1%), dan Interaksi Intra-Interpersonal (26,6%). Evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam penerapan nilai-nilai ini. Dengan demikian, program ini tidak hanya meningkatkan aspek pengetahuan tetapi juga membentuk fondasi profesionalisme yang kuat pada pelatih melalui pengalaman positif dalam cabang olahraga renang.

Abstract

Purpose: To ensure the safety and health of tourists. They also play a role in maintaining the security of tourists in the area. In addition, the accompanying medical team can also provide health services such as light health checks, simple medical procedures, and providing health information to tourists. Method: This will make it easier for the medical team to provide emergency medical care if there are tourists who need it. This aims to monitor the health of tourists and provide first aid if there are tourists who need it. Must-have medical equipment such as defibrillators, oxygen, resuscitation equipment, and so on. This can include how to manage common health symptoms and steps to prevent disease. Result: Several cases were encountered in the health assistance, namely: bruises (contusions), cramps and bleeding. Conclussion: Traveling to the mountains can cause serious injury if proper precautions are not taken. In addition, it is important to follow the guidelines given by experienced climbers, avoid trails that are too dangerous, and not take excessive risks when doing activities on the mountain. With proper preparation and wise precautions, we can reduce the risk of injury and enjoy a safe and enjoyable mountain travel experience

Abstract

Good physical performance must also prioritize metabolic health. Metabolic health is influenced by body composition, including muscle mass and visceral fat. Muscle mass plays a role in the performance and quality of body metabolism, while visceral fat around the liver, pancreas, and intestines is an indicator of metabolic health that affects insulin resistance, chronic inflammation, and metabolic diseases. Good training is needed to find the right recipe for maximizing muscle mass and controlling visceral fat levels. This study aims to compare muscle mass and visceral fat in female aquatic athletes to see health parameters without neglecting performance. This study used a cross-sectional design involving 15 subjects from female swimming and diving athletes from the KONI Malang City pool. Measurement of muscle mass and visceral fat used a BIA (Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis) tool. Correlation analysis was used to determine the relationship between muscle mass and visceral fat. The results showed that all research subjects had low muscle mass with a maximum value of 21.03 and visceral fat in the high category of 0.67. Low muscle mass is likely caused by suboptimal training outcomes or by strength training not maximizing muscle mass composition, while high visceral fat can be influenced by poor nutritional management by athletes. Physical performance and metabolic health are crucial, especially in optimizing muscle mass and minimizing visceral fat. Low muscle mass is caused by inadequate training methods, particularly strength training, including a lack of attention to training principles such as intensity, frequency, and loading.

Abstract

Background: To to be able to find out the effect of futsal fest training program on flexibility endurance and speed in futsal players MTs Badrussalam Indonesia Methods: The sample in this study was 20 male futsal players. This training was carried out for 6 weeks, namely four days a week (tuesday, wednesday, friday and sunday). Flexibility, endurance and speed ability tests were carried out before being given a training program (pretest) and after being given a training program (posttest). Results: Statistical analysis of the Paired Sample t-Test test shows that there is a significant influence on flexibility, endurance and speed in futsal players, because the significance value of the three variables is 0.000 <0.005. The study provides results that there is an influence of the FEST Futsal training program on the flexibility, endurance and speed of MTs Badrussalam Indonesia futsal players. Conclusions: The FEST Futsal training program is a training program that aims to improve the flexibility, endurance and speed of futsal players. The training program has an effect on MTs Badrussalam Indonesia futsal players by increasing their flexibility, endurance and speed. The FEST Futsal training program has a significant effect so that the training can function well in improving the physical abilities of futsal players.
