Abstract

Dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi, lembaga pendidikan harus lebih efisien dalam mengelola data akademik. Pengelolaan data akademik seperti pengolahan nilai, dan presensi masih masih belum optimal karena sistem sebelumnya belum terintegrasi. Metode Web Engineering dan metode Continuous Integration (CI) digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk menciptakan sistem informasi akademik berbasis web. Web Engineering memberikan kerangka kerja yang terstruktur untuk desain dan pengembangan sistem, dan CI memastikan bahwa integrasi dan pembaruan sistem dapat dilakukan secara otomatis dan stabil. Analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, pengembangan, pengujian, dan implementasi adalah metode penelitian. Sistem ini dikembangkan menggunakan Codeigniter, dengan otomasi pipeline melalui GitHub Actions dan containerisasi menggunakan Docker. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini dapat meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi akademik, mengurangi kesalahan input, dan mempercepat akses pengguna ke informasi. Hasil coba internal dapat menghemat waktu yang sebelumnya memakan waktu ±10 menit, kini hanya membutuhkan waktu 2 menit dengan estimasi efesiensi sebesar 30%. Sistem dapat tetap stabil dan siap di-update tanpa downtime berkat penggunaan CI. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan sistem informasi pendidikan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kontemporer. Penelitian ini memberikan pendekatan praktis dalam pengembangan sistem informasi akademik berbasis CI.

Abstract

Ainun Bag Store is a fashion retail business specializing in the sale of high-quality women’s bags, both locally made and imported, at affordable prices. However, the store still relies on manual systems for managing operations, marketing, transactions, and inventory. Customers are required to visit the store directly to make purchases, and all transaction records are manually written in physical ledgers. This conventional method has several limitations, such as inefficient inventory management, potential human error, and a lack of accessible sales data. Additionally, consumer behavior—such as satisfaction with service—has a direct impact on sales performance. This study aims to design and develop a web-based e-commerce platform for Ainun Bag Store by applying the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method and Consumer Behavior Analysis. The EOQ method is implemented to optimize stock levels and reduce storage costs, while Consumer Behavior Analysis is used to understand customer preferences and improve overall satisfaction.

Abstract

Manual academic monitoring systems at SMA Swasta Teladan Cinta Damai present several challenges, such as delayed information delivery, data entry errors, and lack of transparency in academic records. This study aims to design and develop a web-based Academic Monitoring Information System using the Task Centered System Design (TCSD) approach, which focuses on the actual needs and tasks of users such as teachers, students, and parents. The system is developed using PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database, and follows the Waterfall development model, which includes stages such as requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The results show that the system can present academic information in real time, improve monitoring efficiency, and facilitate access to information for all stakeholders. With its intuitive interface and task-oriented features, this system provides a digital solution that enhances the quality of academic management in the school environment.

Abstract

Background: Pineapple is a major agricultural commodity in Indonesia, especially in North Sumatra, where increasing demand calls for improved productivity. Although machine learning has been widely applied in agriculture, most prior studies on pineapple focus on fruit quality assessment or employ complex, less interpretable models, leaving a gap in lightweight and practical approaches for productivity classification. Objective: This study aims to evaluate the novelty and effectiveness of the Naïve Bayes algorithm in classifying pineapple productivity based on agronomic characteristics, addressing the underexplored use of this method for productivity prediction in pineapple cultivation. Methods: A descriptive quantitative approach was applied using secondary data from the Labuhan Batu Agricultural Extension Center, consisting of 52 records with seven agronomic parameters. The dataset was divided into 31 training and 21 testing samples, and the Naïve Bayes model was implemented using RapidMiner 7.1, with performance measured by accuracy. The small dataset size is recognized as a limitation that may affect generalizability. Results: The Naïve Bayes model achieved an accuracy of 86.67%, effectively distinguishing between productive and unproductive pineapples and demonstrating its suitability for agricultural classification tasks even with limited data. Conclusion: This study highlights the novelty and practicality of applying Naïve Bayes for pineapple productivity classification, offering an interpretable and computationally efficient alternative to more complex models. Future work should address dataset limitations by incorporating larger and more diverse samples and exploring hybrid or ensemble approaches to further enhance performance and support precision agriculture.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi yang pesat telah mengubah berbagai bidang, termasuk sektor pendidikan, di mana kebutuhan akan informasi yang akurat dan cepat sangat penting. Di SMP Negeri 3 Tanah Putih, pengolahan data akademik masih dilakukan secara manual dan menggunakan aplikasi perkantoran yang memiliki banyak keterbatasan, seperti risiko kehilangan data dan ketidaksinkronan antar file. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, maka dilakukanlah penelitian yang bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan Sistem Informasi Akademik berbasis web menggunakan framework Laravel. Laravel dipilih karena kemudahan penggunaannya, fitur-fitur yang kaya, serta fleksibilitas dalam pengembangan aplikasi web. Sistem ini diharapkan mampu mengelola data akademik seperti data siswa, guru, kelas, nilai, dan absensi secara efektif, sehingga meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan data di sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Sistem Informasi Akademik berbasis web ini mampu meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan data, memudahkan akses bagi berbagai pihak, serta mendukung tercapainya tujuan pendidikan dan peningkatan kualitas layanan di SMP Negeri 3 Tanah Putih.

Abstract

This study discusses the design of a Fleet Management Information System at PT. Bagus Amelia Jaya using a User Centered Design (UCD) approach and developed as a web-based application with the Laravel framework. The company's main problems include manual recording, the lack of a structured fleet maintenance schedule, limited visibility of fleet and driver data, and minimal support for operational decision-making. The methodology used combines Research & Development (R&D) with the UCD cycle: understanding the context of use, determining user needs, generating design solutions, and conducting iterative evaluations through usability testing. The research results are a system design that provides fleet data modules, service schedules, operational expenses, role-based user management, and structured reporting. The UCD approach ensures the interface design is aligned with the company's workflow and reduces the learning curve for internal users. This research is expected to fill the gap in previous research that predominantly focuses on technical aspects without comprehensive user involvement.

Abstract

One of the pharmacy installations located in the Medan city area was tasked with overseeing the management of pharmaceutical inventory for public health facilities, ensuring adequate stock levels, and processing medication-related data, including receiving supplies and LPLPO forms from 41 Public Health Centers. Supervisors at the pharmacy installation were responsible for dispensing medications, while medication managers at the Public Health Centers handled medication requests by completing LPLPO forms and sending them to the installation. Issues arose regarding the accuracy of medication data within its operations, encompassing aspects such as initial stock, receipt of medications, inventory management, medication disbursement (including usage, damaged, or expired items), remaining stock, medication requests, and discrepancies between reported and actual medication quantities. The objective of this study was to establish a web-based data processing system utilizing the Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) methodology. The DRP approach offered significant insights for forecasting medication stock demands and effectively guided the pharmacy installation in meeting the medication needs of the Public Health Centers. Furthermore, the DRP method shed light on the distribution process costs, thus serving as a valuable tool for enhancing cost efficiency and effectiveness. Results obtained through the DRP approach provided a more efficient distribution process, yielding a notable 93% reduction in expenditure. Additionally, the DRP method successfully anticipated future requirements by employing structured calculations that delineated demand levels experienced by each Public Health Center, accounting for the distinct needs of each facility.

Abstract

Communication was essential in various aspects of life due to the rapid development of information technology, including in the management of educational institutions and companies. PT. Sumber Nelayan Indonesia faced issues in production scheduling, where the process was still done manually using bookkeeping. This caused delays in order fulfillment, primarily due to machine breakdowns and human resource challenges that impacted the production process. Additionally, the company struggled to manage order data and machine capacity, making it difficult to estimate order completion times and the amount of output produced. This research aimed to develop a web-based management information system for scheduling using the Laravel framework to assist PT. Sumber Nelayan Indonesia in managing scheduling more effectively and efficiently. The research method employed was R&D, with the system development model following the waterfall method, utilizing PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database. System testing was conducted using black box testing. The results of the research indicated that the developed system could help the company schedule production more efficiently, reduce delays, and improve operational efficiency.

Abstract

Bayu Kusuma Wholesale Store currently has problems recording transactions. Recording transactions at this grocery store uses a conventional method. Where employees record transactions on the books. This is very detrimental because the number of transactions with available stock is often manipulated. In its completion, a Point of sales technology is needed. transactions made by Bayu Kusuma Wholesale Store via WhatsApp are less effective in providing an online shopping experience. This is because the product catalog and available inventory cannot be displayed directly, making purchasing difficult for customers. In solving this problem, Android-based Point Of Sales technology is needed to record transactions and stock from stores. The Rapid Application Development method is used to solve store problems so that the system is built according to the needs of the store and completes the review of the store that occurs. The results showed that POS used to help process transactions can increase productivity and efficiency in job responsibilities. This can be seen where customers do not need to come to the store to get the product, but order first through the application then bring the item to the store and make payment in cash.

Abstract

This study aims to improve management and distribution effectiveness at UMSU (Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara) Press. UMSU Press is an institution that manages publishing and printing books by utilizing the creativity of the UMSU academic community as a skilled workforce. The main problem in the book publishing process is delays in book publication caused by miss communication between the client and the management of UMSU Press or the printer and the management of UMSU Press. The absence of a repository that functions as an archive makes UMSU Press not have a good track record due to a lack of attention to archive management, this is a secondary problem for UMSU Press to improve the reputation of UMSU Press. Clients who do not know the development process of book publishing and always ask about publishing developments are the final problem for UMSU Press. Supply Chain Management (SCM) is a method that integrates raw materials, production processes, and distribution processes by adjusting cost and time requirements. Laravel Framework is a website framework based on the PHP programming language with the concept of Model View Controller (MVC) which simplifies the process of developing information systems. To achieve good distribution and management flows, a system is needed that can help manage and monitor the development process of book publishing. By building a management information system using the Supply Chain Management (SCM) method using the Laravel framework, it can help reduce miss-communications that occur and increase the effectiveness of UMSU Press's performance, as well as help monitor the book publishing process so that clients can find out the progress of book publishing carried out by UMSU Press.
