Abstract

Pembangunan kepariwisataan di Sulawesi Utara bertumbuh dan berkembang dengan didukung oleh berbagai sektor termasuk industri souvenir. Souvenir yang mepresentasikan produk pariwisata lokal adalah suatu komponen penting dari pengalaman wisatawan yang mengunjungi Sulawesi Utara. Namun, industri cendramata di Sulawesi Utara masih kurang memiliki ciri khas sebagai cendramata lokal dan masih terbatas baik kualitas maupun kuantitasnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi karakteristik model dan desain souvenir dalam bentuk usaha mandiri sebagai pendukung produk pariwisata di Sulawesi Utara yang unik, berdaya jual dan berdaya saing dengan ciri khas lokal Sulawesi Utara. Data dan informasi dikumpulkan dari home industri di Sulawesi Utara yang memproduksi cendramata yang terbuat dari bahan kayu dan tempurung kelapa. Penelitian ini menggunakan angket berdasarkan survey, wawancara, diskusi kelompok fokus (FGD). Responden adalah pengrajin dan penjual cendramata di Sulawesi Utara. Wawancara juga dilakukan terhadap wisatawan yang berkunjung. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa karateristik produk souvenri dengan beberapa model dan desain untuk cendramata dari kelapa seperti miniatur yang berhubungan dengan pahlawan setempat seperti Sam Ratulangi, Toar Lumimuut dan Dotulolong Lasut. Miniatur yang berhubungan dengan fauna setempat seperti ikan purba (coelacanth), burung manguni dan tarsius spectrum yang melambangkan keunikan souvenir Sulawesi Utara. Kata kunci: produk souvenir, kelapa, pariwisata

Abstract

Analysys of Manajerial Ability in The Family Business Performance with InformationTechnoly Skills as an Intervening Variable: (Study on Craetive Tourism Industry of Handycraft SME’s in North Sulawesi Province. This study examines the effect of manajerial ability on family business performance with information technology skill as an intervening variable of handicraft SME’s in North Sulawesi province. A good SME handycraft business performance will strengthen the existence of SME’s in the domestic market and upgrade the ability to compete equally in the global market. The population of this study is the handycraft business consisting of 77 handycraft business units. The sampling technique used is probability sampling with primary data sourced from SME business owner who know the condition of the use of information technology and managerial ability in managing the business. The method used to analyze the data is Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the aid of smatPls. The results of data analysis show that business performance can be seen from the managerial ability which is 90.60% and managerial ability for information technology at 94.10%. the result of Hypothesis testing show that managerial ability has a positive effect on family business performance and the manager’s ability has a positive effect on information technology skill, but information technology has no effect on business performance of handycratf SME’s in North Sulawesi Province.

Abstract

Dukungan dari berbagai pihak seperti Pemerintah, swasta, lembaga perbankan dan non-perbankan, serta perguruan tinggi sangat penting bagi tumbuh dan berkembangnya Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM). Namun, tidak semua UMKM menerima bantuan yang diperlukan dan disesuaikan dengan tantangan spesifik mereka. Oleh karena itu, pelaksanaan program pendampingan menjadi suatu keharusan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh para pemilik usaha mikro di Kelurahan Kairagi Satu, Kecamatan Mapanget Kota Manado, maka perlu adanya bantuan yang dapat memitigasi dampak negatif terhadap pendapatan usaha mereka. Bantuan ini terutama akan fokus pada bimbingan kewirausahaan dan pengelolaan keuangan, dengan mempertimbangkan tantangan umum yang dihadapi oleh pemilik usaha mikro di kecamatan tersebut. Tujuan dari inisiatif pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengatasi kurangnya literasi keuangan di kalangan UMKM di Keluruhan Kairagi satu Kecamatan Manapanget. Banyak pengusaha di bidang ini memulai bisnis tanpa memahami pentingnya menjaga pencatatan keuangan yang baik. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan peserta melalui pelatihan literasi keuangan, sehingga mereka dapat mengakses permodalan dan mengambil keputusan yang tepat mengenai produk dan layanan keuangan untuk mengembangkan usahanya. Tim pelaksana dari politeknik negeri Manado menggunakan berbagai metode seperti ceramah, diskusi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan untuk melaksanakan kegiatan tersebut. Hasil dari inisiatif ini, peserta memperoleh pengetahuan dan keterampilan baru dalam menggunakan aplikasi keuangan berbasis Android seperti aplikasi Catatan Keuangan. Mereka juga telah diperkenalkan dengan aplikasi yang menyederhanakan pelaporan keuangan, memberikan informasi tentang modal yang tersedia untuk UMKM, dan mengedukasi mereka tentang hak dan kewajiban perpajakan.

Abstract

Kesehatan merupakan keadaan yang dimana fisik dan mental dalam kondisi yang baik atau optimal, Kesehatan juga merupakan salah satu aset yang sangat berharga bagi kita. Dengan kesadaran akan penting pola hidup sehat yang mulai meningkat di kalangan masayrakat. Masyarakat semakin menyadari betapa pentingnya kesehatan. Namun, ada juga masyarakat yang masih saja salah dalam memlilih pola hidup mereka terkadang mereka lebih memilih makanan yang memiliki rasa yang enak namun makanan yang mereka makan kurang sehat. Memiliki rasa yang enak namun makanan yang mereka makan kurang sehat. Oleh karena itu, dengan business plan ini kami merinci rencana rencana ide bisnis kami dengan berfokus pada makanan sehat. Makanan sehat ini, dibuat dari bahan baku yang alami dan tidak ada zat buatan tangan manusia. Dengan ide bisnis, masyarakat bisa menikmati makanan yang memiliki rasa enak namun memiliki kandungan yang sehat. Sehubung dengan itu, dengan upaya mendukung gaya hidup sehat dan mengubah cara pandang masyrakat terhadap kesehatan. Dalam hal ini, makanan dan minuman kami memilih ide bisnis yaitu NGENANG. Dengan adanya Ide bisnis ini dapat memberikan akses kepada masyrakat untuk menikmati minuman yang enak namun memiliki kandungan yang sehat. Melalui ide bisnis ini, kami berharap dengan menyajikan pilihan makanan dan miniman sehat ini, dapat membuat masyarkat sadar akan pola hidup sehat

Abstract

Tourism has a very important influence and role in the development of a region. Southeast Minahasa Regency is an area that has a diversity of tourist attractions. The Dodoku Aer Konde natural tourist area is one of the superior tourist areas, with its attraction and beauty found in the clarity of the water and the cool and cool air. However, this tourist area still lacks attention, complete facilities are not available, some facilities are starting to break down, and the layout is not good. The research with the title "Arrangement of the Dodoku Aer Konde Natural Tourist Attraction Area, Wawali Village, Ratahan District, Southeast Minahasa Regency" has a problem formulation, namely how to arrange and complete the tourism facilities and infrastructure in the Dodoku Aer Konde Natural Tourist Attraction area. This research aims to describe and explain the arrangements that will be carried out and identify the completeness of tourism facilities and infrastructure in the Dodoku Aer Konde Nature Tourism area. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The data sources used in this research are primary data obtained through direct observation at the research location including land use patterns, physical condition of the land, accommodation, condition of facilities and infrastructure and vegetation as well as secondary data in the form of notes obtained from interviews with the government or village communities. , including population, topography and location maps. Data collection was carried out by literature review, observation, documentation and interviews. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the Dodoku Aer Konde natural tourist area needs to be reorganized and repaired damaged facilities as well as the provision of incomplete facilities and infrastructure. Arrangements, improvements and procurement of facilities are carried out in order to support tourism progress and increase the attractiveness of the Dodoku Aer Konde natural tourist area.

Abstract

Tourism is a multisectoral industry which linked to several aspects of life such as social, economic, cultural, political, and environment. The development of industrial world which increasingly depends on tourism sector has made tourism as the so called future industry. Tourism is a driving force and major factor in accelerating the development of a country.This research aims to identify and explain the potential of ecotourism in Bahoi Village, West Likupang District, North Minahasa Regency using descriptive qualitative research methods and data analysis techniques that result in data discovery in the field through interviews with 10 informants, documentation, observation, and literature study.The results showed that Bahoi Village, West Likupang District, North Minahasa Regency has ecotourism potentials, such as: (1) mangrove forests (2) white sand beaches (3) marine protected areas (4) 8 types of seagrass (5) 32 types of coral reefs (6) various types of fish (7) marine mammals and (8) water snails.

Abstract

This research is about Analysis of the Impact of Covid-19 in the Post-Covid Era on Flight Operations at Sam Ratulangi Airport, Manado. The research aims to explain what happened as a result of the Covid 19 pandemic in flight operations at Sam Ratulangi Airport, Manado. Besides that, it analyzes descriptively how the impact of Covid-19 on flight operations at Sam Ratulangi Airport in Manado, including in the post-covid-19 era. This research is a qualitative research using data collection methods with interviews, field observations and online surveys in a descriptive way about opinions on flight operational at Sam Ratulangi Manado airport and opinions about the use of technology in dealing with Covid-19. The results of the study show that information about the businesses carried out during Covid-19 at Sam Ratulangi Airport where there is a partnership assistance as good practice by the three fostered partners as well as through the distribution of this partnership program, small and medium businesses which are expected to grow and develop with a competitive program. In addition, there have been efforts to handle post-Covid-19 at Sam Ratulangi Airport where thre is implementation of health protocols is key in implementing airport activities to minimize the risk of spreading Covid-19. There are new normal activities during and post Covid 19 at Sam Ratulangi Airport operations, namely: wearing masks, measuring body temperature, handling people with symptoms, washing hands, keeping a safe distance, proof of vaccine information, checking in early, implementing SOP (Standard Operational Procedure), installing information media as socialization of health protocols, provision of special facilities, provision of disinfectant facilities, 139 ensuring tenant/third party operations, spraying disinfectants for cabin baggage, choosing touchless services, self check-in, cashless transactions, implementing operational pattern adjustments, security guarantees, operational reporting. Through an online survey about the use of technology in dealing with Covid, namely by utilizing applications namely Care for Protect, Safe Homes, United to Against Covid-19, M-Health and telemedicine applications. This means that various parties, both the government and the community have made great efforts in handling Covid-19 by using various digital applications and information technology.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze, measure and explain employee discipline and its influence on work quality at the Manado Quality Hotel. In this research, the techniques used were observation, surveys and interviews. The sampling method was taken at random or random sampling and the analysis method used was simple linear regression analysis where the variable (X) Employee Discipline and the variable (Y) Work Quality with the equation Y'=a+bX and correlation coefficient analysis to calculate how strong the relationship is. between variable (X) and variable (Y).The final results of this research after carrying out simple linear regression analysis calculations obtained an equation where Y' = 3.46 + 0.98 and vice versa. Determinant coefficient r2 = 0.4624 or 46.24%. This shows that there is a strong influence on work quality, 46.24% and 53.76% are changes in variables caused by factors that are not researched, such as management policies and employee work system settings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze operational coordination within the Food and Beverage (F&B) Service at the Ibis Manado City Center Boulevard Hotel Restaurant, focusing on the factors influencing effective staff coordination. The research addresses the responsibilities, duties, as well as the inhibiting and supporting factors affecting daily work coordination. The literature review covers theories on restaurants and their types, definitions of coordination, as well as the roles, skills, personality traits, and work motivation relevant to F&B Service personnel. A qualitative method was employed, using observation and documentation for data collection, and data analysis was conducted through data reduction, presentation, triangulation, and conclusion drawing. Findings reveal that inadequate coordination skills contribute to poor staff communication, negatively impacting professionalism in service operations. A case study at the hotel restaurant highlights coordination issues and identifies managerial aspects that require attention by F&B management. The study concludes that coordination skills are essential for enhancing professionalism and operational effectiveness. It is recommended that all F&B Service staff actively engage in continuous coordination to maintain effective communication and achieve shared organizational goals.
