Abstract

Abstrak CV. Marasabessy merupakan perusahaan manufaktur di bidang industri sepatu. Penelitian ini berfokus pada produksi sepatu boots. Berdasarkan data perusahaan, pada tahun 2018, produksi sepatu boots hanya mencapai 59,37% dari total target. Guna mengetahui penyebab tidak tercapainya target produksi, dilakukan identifikasi waste, penelitian ini berfokus pada waste motion, sedangkan waste lainnya diteliti oleh peneliti lain. Pada penggambaran Value Stream Mapping (VSM) Current State didapatkan nilai lead time produksi sepatu boots sebesar 7165,13 detik dan pada penggambaran Process Activity Mapping (PAM) Current State didapatkan adanya waste motion sebesar 63,06 %. Penyebab adanya waste motion yaitu adanya kegiatan mencari alat bantu (peralatan) kerja dan komponen bahan baku (pola upper). Sehingga perlu adanya suatu perbaikan untuk mereduksi waste motion yang terjadi pada proses produksi sepatu boots. Penyelesaian akar permasalahan menggunakan tools lean manufacturing yaitu 5 whys dengan pengklasifikasian dan identifikasi akar penyebab waste motion. Pada tahap selanjutnya untuk menyelesaikan penyebab dari waste motion adalah dengan menerapkan 5S. Pada usulan rancangan perbaikan untuk mereduksi waste motion adalah dengan menerapkan seiri, seiton, seiso, seiketsu dan shitsuke hampir di seluruh workstation. Dari usulan rancangan perbaikan yang dibuat, kemudian dilakukan penggambaran proses produksi sepatu boots pada Value Stream Mapping (VSM) Future State dan didapatkan hasil lead time yang berkurang menjadi 4998,83 detik. Kata Kunci : Lean Manufacturing, Value Stream Mapping, Process Activity Mapping, Waste Motion, 5S. Abstract CV. Marasabessy is a manufacturing company in the shoes industry. This research focuses on the production of boots shoes. Based on company data, in 2018, boots production only reached 59,37% of the total target. In order to find out the causes of production failure, identification of waste was carried out, this research focused on waste motion, while other waste was examined by other researchers. In the description of Value Stream Mapping (VSM) Current State, the lead time for boots production is 7165,13 seconds and in the description of Process Mapping (PAM) Current State there is a 63,06 % waste motion . The cause of the existence of waste motion is the activity of searching for tools (equipment) work and components of raw materials. So there needs an improvement to reduce the waste motion that occurs in the production process of boots shoes. The solution to the root causes of using lean manufacturing tools is 5 whys by classifying and identifying the root causes of waste motion. The next step to solve the causes of waste motion is to apply the 5S. On the proposed design improvement to reduce waste motion is to apply seiri, seiton, seiso, seiketsu and shitsuke almost on all workstations. From the proposed draft improvements made, a description of the production process of boots in the Value Stream Mapping (VSM) Future State and the lead time results were reduced to 4998,83 seconds. Abstract

CV Artana Engineering merupakan perusahaan bergerak di bidang manufaktur yang memproduksi tangki. Perusahan mengalami permasalahan dalam pemenuhan permintaan produk. Pada tata letak eksisting perusahaan, terdapat adanya aliran material yang bolak-balik sehingga menyebabkan total jarak perpindahan menjadi lebih besar hingga menghabiskan biaya perpindahan Rp 489,727 perharinya, selain itu jarak antar fasilitas saling berjauhan rata-rata lebih dari 10meter sehingga beberapa stasiun kerja tidak dapat dijangkau oleh material handling dikarenakan keterbatasan standar penggunaan bahan bakar. Hal ini menyebabkan proses perpindahan material menghabiskan banyak waktu sehingga menyebabkan keterlambatan produksi. Perusahaan harus merancang ulang tata letak dengan memperpendek jarak perpindahan dan penempatan fasilitas bedasarkan urutan aliran proses untuk menghilangkan aliran material yang bolak-balik. Metode algoritma yang digunakan adalah Simulated Annealing Heuristik dikarenakan algoritma ini sesuai dengan keadaan pabrik dimana ukuran setiap fasilitas berbeda-beda. Terdapat dua alternatif usulan dikarenakan perusahaan memiliki luas area terbatas. Tata letak usulan dengan luas area sesuai jumlah mesin yang dibutuhkan dapat mengurangi total perpindahan sebesar 69% dan biaya perpindahan sebesar 6% dari tata letak eksisting. Pada Tata letak usulan dengan luas area yang tersedia dapat mengurangi total perpindahan sebesar 81% dan biaya perpindahan sebesar 8% dari tata letak eksisting Kata Kunci : Perancangan Ulang Tata Letak, Simulated Annealing Heuristik

Abstract

Abstract-Industry 4.0 discusses concepts related to intelligent systems. There are many concepts related to intelligent systems, one of which is the digital twin concept. The digital twin concept as a data acquisition tool is used to build digital information for a physical system. The company is a producer of murando glazed tiles. in the roof tile production process at the company, there are defective rooftiles produced by the company, namely white stone defects and cracked roof tiles. Cracked roof tiles are caused by inappropriate temperatures during the firing process. With a temperature monitoring system in the roof tiles furnace, combustion temperatures can be monitored in real-time. Monitoring system design using a multi-level approach can describe in detail the architecture of the monitoring system based on the digital twin concept. The website is designed using the Human Centered Design method so can produce a website user interface that is in line with the goals and needs of the user. The monitoring system can provide real-time information on the temperature of the roof tiled anywhere with a design that suits the user's needs.

Abstract

The availability of spare parts is very crucial thing for manufacturing company in order to support the continuity of production activities. PT XYZ is a manufacturing company which produces thread into fabric. In this case, inventory control of spare part is not properly managed. Inventory position of spare parts in warehouse is always more than inventory policy of the company itself or called overstock which causes total inventory cost is always high. Company only consider on the order fulfillment of spare parts to prevent downtime on the machine that increase performance of production. Hence, order quantity of spare parts is always excessive or not optimal. In this research, global inventory policy conducted in order to minimize total inventory cost is periodic review approach (R, s, S) method. This inventory policy will be calculated using power approximation and obtained total saving cost of holding cost by 31 % while total saving cost of order cost decreased by 7 %. Overall, total inventory cost minimized by 7 % or equal to Rp138.902.742. Keywords—Inventory, Overstock, Spare Parts, Periodic Review, Power Approximation

Abstract

A project always has risks that can lead to project failure. In the project, a risk analysis is required to provide an evaluation for the project to proceed as planned. In the event of inadequate planning and ineffective control, it will result in irregularities identified as a risk to the project. This study aims to analyze the qualitative risk on Fiber Optic Installaion project in Sukabumi, West Java, Indonesia. In addition, risk assessment is undertaken on project implementation. Assessment of risk using the impact and probability to measure the impact of risk occurrence. The impacts are more detailed by classified by time impact, cost impact, quality impact, safety and security impact, proximity. The result is there are 36 risk that may occur and mostly risks are associaated by quality and safety&security impact. Keywords— risk assessment, qualitative analysis, Project, fiber optic.

Abstract

XYZ company produce the various shape of motor spare parts product. The company has threeidentical parallel spot welding machines that use a random method of production scheduling, basedon machine capacity without any sequence of jobs, and only use daily production targets given tooperators. Based on the data, the actual scheduling of the machines has a very large completion timedifference between each machine, or the machine loading is uneven. As a result, the makespanbecomes longer with a value of 440000 seconds (26 days). This research aims to minimize the existingmakespan by giving proposed scheduling, using the suggested algorithm method, which has a smallnumber of iterations and has an optimal result. The method begins with the longest processing timesequence rule which is used as the upper bound for the first iteration, then continued to calculate thelower bound and machine workload. The calculation stops at the 15th iteration because the completiontime value exceeds the lower and upper bound so that the optimal scheduling taken is scheduled inthe 14th iteration with a makespan value of 914412 seconds (16 days). The proposed scheduling canminimize the makespan from the actual schedule by 38%.

Abstract

Abstrak-PT Dirgantara Indonesia merupakan perushaan yang menghasilkan produk kedirgantaraan. Dalam proses produksi Wing NC212, PT Dirgantara Indonesia masih memiliki kendala berupa waste defect. Waste defect merupakan keadaan dimana produk yang dihasilkan tidak sesuai dengan standar yang sudah ditentukan sehingga mengakibatkan produk tersebut mengalami keterlambatan karena terdapat proses rework atau perbaikan. PT Dirgantara Indonesia mengklasifikan penyebab defect yang muncul adalah N508 (Workmanship), N450 (Need CAU Investigation), N901 (Part Reject as a Result of Tool) dan N903 (Design). Pada penelitian tugas akhir ini metode yang digunakan untuk meminimasi waste defect tersebut adalah merode lean manufacturing. Penelitian dimulai dengan melakukan observasi untuk memperoleh data yang mendukung dalam pembuatan Value Stream Mapping (VSM) dan Process Activity Mapping (PAM). Berdasarkan current state mapping Total Inventory Time selama aktivitas pembuatan sayap pesawat NC212 adalah sebesar 20.570,134 jam dan Total cycle timenya adalah 13.537,627 jam. Ditemukan juga jumlah defect sebanyak 12 jenis. Setelah itu dilakukan penyeleksian defect dominan menggunakan diagram pareto dan pencarian akar masalah penyebab terjadinya defect menggunakan 5 whys. Setelah membuat rancangan usulan perbaikan, berdasarkan future state mapping didapatkan perubahan Total Inventory Time menjadi 16.246,396 jam dan Total cycle timenya berubah menjadi 12.793,627 jam.
