Abstract

Produksi biodiesel dengan metode katalitik membutuhkan sistem pengadukan agar trigliserida dan metanol yang mempunyai sifat tidak saling bercampur dapat bercampur dengan baik. Aplikasinya sebagian besar produksi biodiesel masih menggunakan beberapa reaktor dan menggunakan putaran tinggi. Oleh karena itu, akan lebih baik jika proses produksi biodiesel menggunakan satu reaktor sebagai tempat terjadi reaksi tersebut dan menggunakan putaran yang tidak terlalu tinggi sehingga lebih efisien dalam penggunaan energi. Oleh sebab itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang single stirring reactor (SSR) pada putaran searah dan menguji performansi SSR putaran searah. Rancangbangun SSR dilakukan dengan melakukan tahapan perancangan dan perhitungan analisis teknik. Alat yang dibuat merupakan tipe batch dan skala laboratorium. Alat yang dibuat diujicoba saat tanpa beban dan dengan beban yaitu dengan memproduksi biodiesel menggunakan bahan minyak kelapa sawit, metanol dan katalis KOH. Hasil biodiesel (metil ester) dianalisis dengan GC-MS (Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry). Hasil perancangan alat SSR mempunyai dimensi tabung reaktor tinggi 400 mm, diameter 150 mm dan tebal 1 mm menggunakan bahan Stainless steel 304. Hasil pengujian mendapatkan alat mampu bekerja dengan baik sesuai performansi yang diharapkan, baik dengan beban maupun tanpa beban. Hasil uji performansi alat SSR putaran searah saat memproduksi biodiesel dengan bahan minyak kelapa sawit dan metanol (rasio 1:6), katalis KOH 0,5%, suhu 45 oC, dan waktu 30 menit pada putaran 200 rpm, 350 rpm, dan 500 rpm berturut-turut menghasilkan kadar metil ester 98,89%, 99,55%, dan 99,50%, yang berarti sudah memenuhi syarat mutu biodiesel berdasarkan SNI 7182:2015.

Abstract

This study aims at finding the effectiveness of guidance and counselling through GestaltGame technique in improving students’ adaptability in two Islamic boarding schools. Thestudy was conducted by using a pretest-posttest nonequivalent group design involving fourgroups of students from two different Islamic boarding schools. The study considered theinflunce of gender and boarding school environment towards the effectiveness of GestaltGame. It was conducted by controlling heterogenity in students’ adaptability before thetreatment as well as students’ religiosity. The study shows that Gestalt Game is effectivein improving adaptability of the students in the two Islamic boarding schools involvedin the study. Moreover, the study reveals that Gestalt Game does not affect gender andIslamic boarding schools’ environment.Keywords: Gestalt Game; students’ adaptability; students’ religiosity

Abstract

Guava (Psidium guajava L.) is one of the horticultural products that could live in tropical areas and has a high economic value. Tropical fruit used to be damaged quickly remaining due to the temperature and humidity condition. Postharvest treatment is required to extend the shelf life of products and to maintain the quality of products such as evaporative coolers for storage. This research aims to: 1). Calculating the rate of decrease for red guava fruit quality during storage in an evaporative cooler and room temperature. 2). Analyze transformation in the physical properties of red guava fruit during storage in an evaporative cooler and room temperature. Variables measured are the effectiveness of cooling, temperature, relative humidity, moisture content, weight loss, hardness, brix levels, and colors. The method of this study was experimental with the object of research is guava, which has a diameter of 7-8 cm horizontal and vertical length of 6-8 cm. Guava fruits that used were obtained from guava plantation in Kampung Penyisihan, Ketenger Village. Data analysis in this study using the equations of kinetical reaction. The results showed that the treatment of evaporative cooling storage can maintain the quality of weight loss, color (Lab), and violent guava. While the temperature treatment room can maintain the quality of the water content, brix levels guava during storage.

Abstract

Rumput laut berdasarkan pigmen warna dapat dikelompolkkan menjadi tiga yaitu chlorophyta, phaeophyta dan rhodophyta. Rumput laut Gracilaria Salicornia merupakam golongan rhodophyta yang mengandung berbagai senyawa aktif seperti pigmen dan antioksidan. Salah satu senyawa bioaktif yang berpotensi menjadi sumber antioksidan alami adalah fikobiliprotein yang terkandung pada rumput laut Gracilaria Salicornia. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah belum optimalnya proses ekstraksi fikobiliprotein yang terkandung dalam rumput laut Gracilaria Salicornia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melakukan proses optimasi, mendapatkan formula optimum dan mendapatkan karakteristik fisikokimia hasil ekstraksi fikobiliprotein Gracilaria salicornia dengan metode Freeze Thaw menggunakan Response Surface Methodology (RSM). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kondisi optimum ekstraksi diperoleh pada penambahan pelarut aquades 55,737 ml, lama freezing 172,114 menit dan lama thawing 90,120 menit. Hasil prediksi kadar fikobiliprotein berdasarkan proses optomasi sebesar 54,507 µg/ml, sedangkan hasil validasi diperoleh sebesar 49,794 µg/ml yang sesuai dengan rentang prediksi modelnya. Karakteristik ekstrak fikobiliprotein berdasarkan hasil validasi mengandung fikobiliprotein sebesar 49,794 µg/ml; kadar protein 46,67%; total fenol 465,76 µg GAE/g; aktivitas antioksidan 8,40%; warna L* (20,20), a* (-1,93), b* (6,71).ABSTRACTSeaweed based on color pigments can be grouped into three, namely chlorophyta, phaeophyta and rhodophyta. Gracilaria Salicornia seaweed is a group of rhodophyta that contains various active compounds such as pigments and antioxidants. One of the bioactive compounds that has the potential to be a source of natural antioxidants is phycobiliprotein contained in Gracilaria salicornia seaweed. The problem faced is the less than optimal extraction process of phycobiliprotein contained in Gracilaria salicornia seaweed. The purpose of this study was to carry out the optimization process, obtain the optimum formula and obtain the physicochemical characteristics of the extraction results of Gracilaria salicornia phycobiliprotein with the Freeze Thaw method using Response Surface Methodology (RSM). The results of this study indicate that the optimum extraction conditions were obtained by adding 55.737 ml of aquadest solvent, freezing time 172.114 minutes and thawing time 90.120 minutes. The predicted results of phycobiliprotein levels based on the optimization process were 54.507 µg/ml, while the validation results were 49.794 µg/ml which was in accordance with the model prediction range. The characteristics of the phycobiliprotein extract based on the validation results contained phycobiliprotein of 49.794 µg/ml; protein content 46.67%; total phenol 465.76 µg GAE/g; antioxidant activity 8.40%; color L* (20.20), a* (-1.93), b* (6.71).

Abstract

In this study will be further discussed how the role of man as a caliph on the face of the earth in social change. The formulation of problems in this study is; 1) what is the role of man as caliph on earth?; 2) What is the role of man on earth as a caliph in social change? The purpose of this study is; 1) to know the role of man as caliph on earth; 2) man as caliph in social change. This study uses qualitative descriptive research type with type of literature study research. Literature research is done through books, magazines, journals, the internet and so on. In addition, by conducting observational studies from previous studies. The results found are; 1) that social changes made by the hands of man himself are often involved with matters of destiny, such as social change in society is the economic condition of society. Our duty as caliphs or human beings on earth is to improve the standard of living of the people through social change using the medium of da'wah tools. 2) man is the caliph on the earth, the duty of the caliph in the Qur'an is commonly called imaratul ardh (prospering the earth) and worship allah (worship allah). God created man from this earth and assigned man to imarah on the earth by managing and maintaining it.

Abstract

In order to enhance its competitive position, UD Podang Mas is not solely concentrating on the manufacture of traditional carica preparations, such as cocktails. Instead, it is also diversifying its product range. This diversification includes the development of new products, such as premium cocktails, jams, concentrates, ready-to-drink beverages, and functional powders derived from carica seeds. The development of these product variants is undertaken in order to meet the increasingly diverse market requirements and changing consumer preferences. In light of the aforementioned description, the objectives of this study can be defined as follows: (1) The objective of this study is to analyze the feasibility of a diversified processed carica business at UD Podang Mas Wonosobo Regency based on non-financial aspects, including market and marketing, management and legal, technical, and social and environmental factors. (2) The second objective is to analyze the feasibility of a diversified processed carica business at UD Podang Mas Wonosobo Regency based on financial aspects. The analysis method used in this research consists of a non-financial analysis and a financial analysis. The non-financial aspects include market aspects, technical aspects, management and legal aspects, as well as social and environmental aspects, which are processed descriptively. In contrast, the financial aspect is quantitative data, which includes the assessment of NPV, Net B/C, IRR, and payback period. The results of the non-financial feasibility analysis at UD Podang Mas indicate that the production of processed carica products is a viable undertaking. This conclusion is supported by findings across a range of relevant domains, including market aspects, technical aspects, management and legal aspects, and social and environmental aspects. A financial analysis of six processed carica products produced by UD Podang Mas suggests that these products are economically viable.

Abstract

Pertanian tidak hanya menjadi industri penyedia sumber bahan pangan, tetapi juga pemegang peran sentral dalam berjalannya roda perekonomian di Indonesia sebagai penyedia lapangan pekerjaan. Di Indonesia kegiatan pertanian didominasi dengan budidaya tanaman padi yang merupakan tanaman penghasil beras sebagai sumber makanan pokok mayoritas masyarakat di Indonesia. Kebutuhan beras yang tinggi di Indonesia, perlu diimbangi dengan penerapan teknologi seperti mekanisasi. Desa Sokaraja Lor merupakan sebuah desa yang memiliki potensi pertanian yang tinggi dengan luasan lahan sawah selebar 101 Ha. Akan tetapi, Pemerintah Desa dan Kelompok Tani Desa Sokaraja Lor masih belum memiliki alat dan mesin pertanian untuk pengolahan tanah, penanaman, dan pemanenan. Adapun hasil analisa yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan kebutuhan alat dan mesin untuk pengolahan tanah adalah traktor roda dua kelas besar sebanyak 2 unit dan traktor roda empat kelas sedang sebanyak 5 unit. Untuk tahapan penanaman membutuhkan transplanter tipe dorong kelas B sebanyak 4 unit. Proses pemanenan memerlukan combine harvester kelas C sebanyak 1 unit.

Abstract

Used cooking oil is a household waste that has not yet been optimally managed, potentially leading toeconomic losses and environmental pollution. This study aims to analyze the behavior of housewives inBanyumas District in utilizing used cooking oil, identify the potential for developing biodiesel from usedcooking oil, and formulate strategies and roles for relevant stakeholders to optimize used cooking oilmanagement. The methodology employed in this research is mixed-method, utilizing primary data fromsurveys and secondary data from various related studies and publications. The analysis reveals that mosthousewives in Banyumas directly dispose of used cooking oil without prior processing. Adopting a circulareconomy approach in converting used cooking oil into biodiesel can prevent pollution and provide asustainable alternative energy source. This practice can also raise public awareness about environmentalpreservation, promote responsible consumption, and create additional income and green jobs.Implementing this policy requires collaboration from various stakeholders, including the government,academics, business actors, the community, and the media

Abstract

Karakteristik fisikokimia dan atribut sensori kopi arabika dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan tempat tumbuh tanaman kopi dan proses pengolahannya. Tujuan penelitian mencari pengaruh kombinasi tingkat ketinggaian tempat tumbuh tanaman kopi dengan variasi proses sangrai terhadap atribut fisikokimia dan sensori kopi arabika Kabupaten Banjarnegara. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental yang menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan faktorial 2 faktor. Faktor yang diujikan pada penelitian ini adalah: 1) Ketinggian tempat tanaman Kopi dengan taraf: 1000 mdpl (Kecamatan Wanayasa), 1050 (Kecamtan Karangkobar) dan 1100 mdpl (Kecamatan Kalibening). 2) Level sangrai dengan taraf: light, medium dan dark. Faktor tersebut disusun kedalam rancangan faktorial sehingga diperoleh 9 kombinasi perlakuan. Perlakuan diulang tiga kali sehinggga diperoleh 27 unit percobaan. Pengujian atribut sensoris kopi arabika menggunakan metode analisis mutu skroring pembeda. Hasil penelitian ini adalah level penyangraian berpengaruh terhadap kadar air, pH, total fenol dan aroma kopi arabika sedangakn ketinggian tempat tanaman kopi tidak berpengaruh terhadap kadar air, pH, total fenol dan aroma kopi.

Tujuan Dari Penelitian Ini Adalah Untuk Mengetahui Untuk Mengetahui Hubungan Yang Signifikan Antara Kekuatan Otot Lengan Dengan Kemampuan Passing Atas Bola Voli Pada Siswa Kelas VII SMP NEGERI 2 JAYAPURA. Jenis Penelitian Ini Adalah Kolerasional Dengan Teknik Peengumpulan Data Menggunakan Tes Dan Pengukuran . Populasi Dari Penelitian Ini Adalah Siswa SMP Negeri 2 Jayapura Yang Berjumlah 40 Siswa Yang Di Ambil Menggunakan Teknik Total Sampling. Instrumen Yang Di Gunakan Dalam Penelitian Ini Adalah Kekuata Otot Lengan Menggunakan Tes Push Up. Tes Koordinasi Mata-Tangan Menggunakan Lempar Tangkap Bola Dan Tes Passing Atas Bola Voli Menggunakan ( AAHPER Face Pass Wall-Voly Test). Dan Analisis Data Menggunakan Uji Regresi. Dari Hasil Penelitian Ini Menunjukkan Bahwa: (1.) Ada Hubungan Yang Signifikan Kekuatan Otot Lengan Dengan Kemampuan Passing Atas Bola Voli Pada Siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Jayapura, Yang 0,399 >Rtabel(0,05)(Df:40)= 0,304, (2.)
