Abstract

Kemampuan literasi siswa indonesia sangat memprihatinkan yakni 79% siswa Indonesia berada pada level rendah. Sedangkan hasil studi internasional yang dilakukan oleh Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) pada 72 negara di dunia tahun 2015, menyatakan bahwa skor rata-rata literasi matematika siswa Indonesia adalah 386 masih dibawah rata – rata. Guru harus memiliki keterampilan yang baik yang sedini mungkin sebelum melaksanakan pembelajaran matematika pada siswa. Tanpa terkecuali para mahasiswa calon guru Sekolah Dasar. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan literasi matematis mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar dalam membelajarkan matematika. Metode penelitian ini adalah pedagogic action research dengan tahapan think, act, look. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) kemampuan literasi matematis awal mahasiswa masih rendah dengan rata-rata hasil tes 50,5 ; (2) pembelajaran matematika berbasis literasi berjalan dengan baik; (3) terdapat peningkatan kemampuan literasi matematis mahasiswa sebesar 26,9 ; (4) pembelajaran matematika berbasis literasi berkontribusi terhadap kemampuan literasi matematis mahasiswa

Abstract

The aim of this study was to describe students' responses to the effectiveness of learning from home, since world pandemic of Covid-19. The research method used was descriptive quality research methods. The research subjects were 24 students of class VB, the homeroom teacher of class VB, and 6 parents of class students. The data collection used were questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study is : First, the student's response to the effectiveness of learning from home during the Covid-19 pandemic percentage score of 72.35% so it is included in the Good category. Second, the factors that become obstacles are health, interest, school, and physical environmental. Third, the efforts of teachers and parents are collaborating intensively; giving directions to children how behavior is used as examples; preparing study schedules; giving rewards; being friends and discussion partners; condition teaching and learning to use the online system; assignments are given in the form of worksheet; instill ways to maintain interpersonal relationships; provide ways of overcoming emotional behavior; provide effective learning instructions; provide opportunities for independent learning; do not turn on television when children learn; and discuss the rules of learning at home.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui prestasi belajar siswa dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi rendahnya prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 04 Bati. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Survei dengan metode menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis data menggunakan analisis faktor eksploratori dan analisis deskriptif. Jumlah populasi 115 orang siswa yang terdiri dari 60 orang laki-laki dan 55 orang perempuan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 74 orang siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pedoman observasi, angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yaitu prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 04 Bati Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 kategori rendah, serta ditemukannya 7 (tujuh) faktor yang mempengaruhi rendahnya prestasi belajar siswa yaitu: (1) faktor fasilitas sekolah, (2) keluarga, (3) psikologis siswa, (4) kemampuan siswa, (5) interaksi siswa, (6) media elektronik, (7) kedisplinan siswa. Faktor yang memberi kontribusi paling besar adalah faktor fasilitas sekolah yaitu sebesar 20,759%, kontribusi terkecil diberikan oleh faktor kedisplinan siswa yaitu sebesar 4,719% dari keseluruhan kontribusi yang diberikan oleh seluruh faktor yang besarnya 68,6%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan penalaran matematis siswa Sekolah Dasar Se-Kota Sintang. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Tempat penelitian dilaksanakan di 10 SD Negeri dan Swasta yang terletak di Kota Sintang pada kelas IV semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2018-2019. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Se-Kota Sintang. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV yang terdiri dari 30 siswa. Subjek terbagi menjadi siswa berkemampuan tinggi (KT), berkemampuan sedang (KS), dan berkemampuan rendah (KR). Data dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) data kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika pada tiap level kemampuan; (2) data kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa. Sumber data adalah skor hasil tes tertulis kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan skor hasil tes kemampuan penalaran matematis, dokumen, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian didapat kesimpulan: 1) tingkat kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada semua tingkat kemampuan masih tergolong rendah; 2) tingkat kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa dalam penyelesaian pada semua tingkat masih tergolong rendah; 3) kesulitan siswa pada umunya belum memahami soal dan sulit mengerjakan soal yang sifatnya tidak rutin.

Abstract

The Enhancement of Students' Cognitive Learning Achievement Through Contextual Learning Model on Multiplication and Division’s Matter. This research was based on the number of students who produce the resuits of cognitive learning under minimal mastery. The purpose of this research was to improve student cognitive learning outcomes and improve the learning process by applying the contextual learning model. The approach used in this research was descritptive qualitative approach with classroom action research method consisting of two cyeles. Subjects in this researchwere the students of elementary school  classs III 48 Lepung Beruang were 43 students who taught  by the modeling of contextstual. The instrument for measuring cognitive learning outcomes. The data obtained were analyzed by using desctiptive whit mean and Classical completeness value. The result of descriptive analysis shows that in cycle I, the result of 29 students is complete with an average of 66,00 and classical completeness of 67,44%. Furthermore, in cycle II, students who complete 37 students with average of 78,60 and classical completeness of 86,04% of students into good category. The results of this study can be concluded tahat the modeling of use can improve student learning outcomes on mathematic materials.Based on, the result of the teacher activity observation has been received 60% the first meeting, 65% the second meeting on the first cycle, meanwhile  on the second cycle at the  first meeting has got constantly becoming increasing 100%. The results of this research can be concluded that the use of contextual learning can improve the cognitive learning outcomes of students in multiplication and division material and improve the learning process of learning

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS berbasis budaya Dayak Desa. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas X MIPA SMA Sinar Kasih Sintang yang berjumlah 8 orang. Pembuatan soal HOTS yang kontekstual dengan mengaitkan tentang budaya Dayak Desa pada setiap soalnya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes soal HOTS berbasis budaya Dayak Desa yang terdiri atas lima soal dan wawancara kepada siswa yang memperoleh data tertinggi dan rendah untuk memperoleh data tambahan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh hasil kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS berbasis budaya Dayak Desa dikelas X MIPA SMA Sinar Kasih Sintang adalah terkategori cukup dengan rincian sebagai berikut: persentase siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi sangat baik adalah sebesar 12,5%. Selanjutnya, 12,5% memiliki kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dengan kategori baik; 37,5% memiliki kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi  erkategori cukup; 12,5% memiliki kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi terkategori kurang; dan 25 % memiliki kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dengan kategori sangat kurang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the interest in learning towards students' mathematical reasoning abilities in exponential material for class X SMAN 4 Sintang. From the results of research that has been done by the author, the factor that causes low mathematical reasoning is the lack of student interest in learning. The research aims to analyze interest in learning and mathematical reasoning abilities. The method used by researchers in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The object of this research was class X students with a total of 15 participants. The data collection tools used in this research are student activity observation sheets, questionnaire sheets, and test question sheets. The results of research on class X students of SMAN 4 Sintang are in the very low category. This indicates that students' interest in learning exponential material with an average yield of 10.82%. While students' mathematical reasoning abilities were 51.66%. Factors supporting students' interest in mathematical reasoning abilities were motivation, encouragement from teachers and parents, association and discipline, inhibiting factors, namely learning that had not used learning media, students were busy themselves. Efforts made by the teacher to overcome the inhibiting factors of student interest in students' mathematical reasoning abilities are the teacher providing motivation to students, providing learning media, encouraging students to prepare themselves in the learning that will take place.

Abstract

Abstrack This study aims to determine the ability to think critically mathematically based on the learning motivation of high school students. The method in this study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The population in this study was in one of the Immanues Sintang High Schools and the number of samples was 17 students with heterogeneous abilities. The instrument in this study was a test of critical thinking skills with a total of five test items and a non-test in the form of a questionnaire to determine the characteristics of students consisting of 32 question scales. The results of this study showed that the ability to think critically mathematically based on the results of the test questions showed that the ability to think was lacking, almost 59 % of students got scores below completeness but seen from high learning motivation so that 41 % of students showed a positive attitude and were enthusiastic in working on the questions.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this community service programme is to develop leadership potential and leadership management among teenagers of karang taruna singantari in Boti village. This programme is designed to improve the ability of teenagers to lead, cooperate, and manage social activities. The method used was Leadership Management Skills Training for Youth Groups of Singantri Raya Karang Taruna in Boti Village. In its implementation, this programme was attended by 80 participants of Singantri Raya youth group in Boti village and followed the activities through 3 stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage. The method of training implementation includes leadership management time management lectures, group discussions, simulations, and case studies. Participants were also involved in practical activity management exercises and were given assistance and evaluation to strengthen understanding. The expected results of this training are the formation of competent leaders with honed management skills, increased participation in social activities, and the creation of a more collaborative and communicative teamwork environment among members of Singantri Raya Youth Organisation.Keywords: leadership management of youth organisations, Boti village ABSTRAKTujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM)ini adalah untuk mengembangkan potensi kepemimpinan dan manajemen kepemimpinan di kalangan remaja karang taruna singantari di desa Boti. Program ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan kemampuan remaja dalam memimpin, bekerja sama, dan mengelola kegiatan sosial. Metode yang digunakan ialah pelatihan keterampilan manajemen kepemimpinan bagi kelompok remaja Karang Taruna Singantri Raya Desa Boti. Dalam pelaksanaannya program ini dihadiri peserta Karang Taruna Singantri Raya Desa Boti berjumlah 80 orang serta mengikuti kegiatan melalui 3 tahap yaitu tahap perencaaan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi. Metode pelaksanaan pelatihan meliputi manajemen kepemimpinan manajemen waktu ceramah, diskusi kelompok, simulasi, dan studi kasus. Peserta juga dilibatkan dalam latihan praktik manajemen kegiatan serta diberikan pendampingan dan evaluasi untuk memperkuat pemahaman. Hasil yang diharapkan dari pelatihan ini adalah terbentuknya pemimpin-pemimpin yang kompeten dengan keterampilan manajemen yang terasah, peningkatan partisipasi dalam kegiatan sosial, serta terciptanya lingkungan kerja tim yang lebih kolaboratif dan komunikatif di antara anggota Karang Taruna Singantri Raya.Kata Kunci: manajemen kepemimpinan karang taruna, desa Boti.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low mathematics problem-solving ability of seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Belimbing Hulu. The purpose of the research was to improve students' math problem-solving skills by using Make-A-Match Cooperative Learning Model. The research used a qualitative descriptive approach with a form of classroom action research consisting of two cycles. The research instruments used were problem-solving ability test questions, observation sheets, questionnaires, and documentation. Based on the results of research and data processing from 22 students, the percentage of students' math problem-solving completeness increased from cycle I to cycle II, namely 59% to 100%, these results show that students are able to achieve the average. The increase in students' math problem-solving ability from cycle I to cycle II obtained an average of 67 to 83, these results indicate that the level of students' math problem-solving ability is in the high category. Furthermore, students' responses to the Make-A-Match Cooperative Learning Model were in the excellent category with an average student score of 80. So it can be concluded that the Make-A-Match Cooperative Learning Model can improve the mathematics problem-solving ability of seventh-grade students.
