Abstract

As the backbone of the Indonesian economy, MSMEs continue to look for business models to achieve sustainable business performance. Human Capital is an essential factor in dealing with crises, where the Human Capital strategy consists of Knowledge, Competence, and Expertise. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine and analyze (1) the effect of Knowledge on Innovation, (2) the influence of Competencies on Innovation, (3) the influence of Innovation on Business Performance, and (4) the influence of Expertise on Business Performance (5) indirect effect from Transformational Leadership on the MSME scale up model through frugal innovation (6) the indirect effect of Knowledge on Business Performance through Innovation. The number of samples in this study was 101 SMEs in Pangkalpinang City. The data is processed using the Partial Least Squares analysis tool. The results of the analysis found that the Knowledge and Competencies variables have a significant influence on innovation. The innovation variable has no significant effect on Business Performance.Innovation has not significantly affected business performance because the innovations carried out are still partial and not digital-based because digital literacy is still low. On the other hand, expertise has a significant effect on Business Performance. Thus, it shows that there is a need to increase the knowledge and competence of MSME actors to become innovative. Metacognitive skills, learning skills, thinking skills, knowledge, and motivation.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the fact that performance achievement at BKKBN (The National Population and Family Planning Board) of Bangka Belitung Islands Province in 2016-2018 was less than standard. This study investigated the effect of emotional intelligence and gender on employee performance of BKKBN of Bangka Belitung Islands Province. A quantitative descriptive study was used to collect data from 49 employees who were selected by saturated sampling technique. Data were analysed by using SPSS software. The findings show that emotional intelligence has positive and significant effect on employee performance. From gender perspective, there is no difference between the performance of male and female employees.

Abstract

Karya Makmur Village  is one of the villages in the Pemali District Bangka Regency Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The problem of Karya Makmur Village that the knowledge of MSMEs actors is still quite low regarding MSME development strategies both in terms of Human Resources (HR), marketing and  finance.  In addition, MSMEs actors also do not have product licensing legality such as Halal Certification and Business Identification Number (NIB). The method of  the program are outreach, education, training and mentoring. The stages of the activity consist of preparation, implementation,  mentoring  and  evaluation.  The  implementation  of the program has provided understanding, motivation, competency and skills in  MSMEs development both in  the fields of Human Resources (HR), Marketing, Finance and product licensing (Halal Certification and  NIB).  This activity will be periodically monitored and evaluated in order to maintain the sustainability of the program.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of expectation and level of performance to determine the level of conformity and indicators that are the main priority for improvement and patient satisfaction to improve service quality and satisfy patients at the Lubuk Besar Public Health Center. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach. Sampling was determined by the purposive sampling technique with a total of 100 respondents. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and interviews. The analysis used is Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). The results showed that the analysis of the IPA method at the level of conformity of the 5 dimensions of service quality at the Lubuk Besar Public Health Center had a value of 73.74% in the appropriate category only on the responsiveness dimension which was still in the quite especially on the speed and accuracy attributes of doctors treating patients, speed and friendliness of administrative staff, ability to respond and resolve patient complaints. The results of the calculation of the CSI method at the Lubuk Besar Health Center by 70% means that the patient is quite satisfied, but the puskesmas still need to make improvements to the attributes that have low values to improve service quality and satisfy patients. Abstract

Activities in managing village finances which are village rights and obligations that are valued in terms of money and goods, can be included in the category of village financial management, which contains planning, implementation, administration, reporting, and accountability of village finances; this is adjusted to Permendagri No.20 of 2018. The submitted report was still reporting responsibility in the village of Karya Makmur, which still made mistakes. The Bangka Belitung University Service Team conducted training and assistance for siskeudes in Karya Makmur Village. The purpose of this activity is to carry out training and mentoring of the village financial system, which is an application that can be used to help the village government manage village finances from the planning stage to the reporting and accountability stages correctly and appropriately. The activity method carried out by the service team is by approaching the village apparatus for training and assistance from the Siskeudes system. The parties involved in this activity were the study team and the Bangka Belitung Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP). The results of the activities of the apparatus have explained the errors that often occur from filling out the Siskeudes so that the Karya Makmur Village apparatus can avoid mistakes and have carried out a team evaluation related to financial recording with Siskeudes which has been carried out properly by starting with planning to implementing activities and making accountability reports. The existence of training and assistance on the village financial system in Makmur Sungailiat Village, Bangka Regency, increased the capacity of the village apparatus in managing village finances so that the management and administration of village finances, starting from planning, implementation, administration, reporting, and accountability were more orderly, transparent and accountable.

Abstract

This community service program is an activity by applying knowledge to the Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDES) Labuh Air Pandan, Mendo Barat District, Bangka Regency. The aim is to provide assistance in product creation and BUMDES financial governance. The method of implementing this activity uses the method of practice and demonstration which is manifested in three main programs. The first and second programs use a practical method by providing training that invites participants to directly process caught fish that do not pass the market into crispy fish snack products and fish sauce. The third program with a demonstration method in the form of assistance in the preparation of BUMDES financial reports. Indicators of program success are the availability of packaged finished products and BUMDES financial reports. Overall, the success of this program has reached 70% in its implementation because it has produced products. The activity is still in the form of a sample product and to evaluate the impact of the ability of BUMDES managers in compiling financial reports, it must be carried out more than the time required for this community service activity.

Abstract

IMPROVING THE COMVETITVENESS OF UMKM IN SRI MENANTI VILLAGE THROUGH FACILITATING THE ACQUISITION OF PRODUCT LEGALITY. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) have a very strategic role in the people-based economic development in Indonesia. The strengthening of this role must be increased by equipping businesses with permits that have been determined by the Government, such as food safety education certificates, sanitation hygene-worthy certificates, and home industry food production certificates. There are still many UMKM in Sri Menanti Village that do not have these product legality. Therefore, this service activity will facilitate the management of these permits. The method in this service activity is in the form of direct assistance for submissions, facilitation of laboratory testing costs so that all fostered partners obtain these permits. The fostered partners in this activity amounted to seven UMKM determined by the Sri Menanti Village Party. The result of this service activity is that the seven assisted UMKM managed to get these permits. The seven UMKM already have food safety education certificates, two UMKM have received HS-worthy certificates and five other UMKM have received PIRT certificates. Obtaining this license will make it easier for the assisted UMKM to market their products more broadly.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurial characteristics and startup strategies in improving business performance in Bangka Belitung Islands Province. Data collection in this study was conducted by survey method with in-depth interviews and questionnaires, providing a list of questions and statements to the 100 respondents, in this case, Startup Business in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The data analysis technique used the SEM Moderating approach with SmartPLS (Partial Least Square). The results indicate that Entrepreneurial characteristics positively influence improving business performance in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The startup strategy has a positive effect on improving business performance in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. Entrepreneurial characteristics and startup strategy together strongly influence business performance in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesiapan pelaku UMKM dalam rangka akselerasi digital entrepreneur (digipreneur) naik kelas dan go global berdasarkan perspektif Entrepreneurial Mindset (E-Mind) dan Financial Self-Efficacy. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kombinasi dan bersifat eksplanatori (explanatory research). Data penelitian merupakan data primer yang diperoleh dari penyebaran kuesioner kepada 100 responden pelaku UMKM di Pangkalpinang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif variabel Entrepreneurial Mindset (E-Mind) dan Financial Self-Efficacy terhadap kinerja UMKM Pangkalpinang.

Abstract

The implementation of the Merdeka Belajar - Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Activities by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Batch 1 (first) provides opportunities for students to choose various Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) programs consisting of eight programs offered, namely: (1) Building a Thematic Village/KKN; (2) Apprenticeship; (3) Entrepreneurship; (4) Humanitarian Projects; (5) Independent Study/Project; (6) Student Research; (7) Student Exchange; and (8) Teaching Assistance. The current program is Teaching Assistance, which provides opportunities for students to add insight and gain experience in assisting the teaching and learning process in the Vocational High School Education unit. Learning is carried out using offline and online methods; there is offline or face-to-face learning and online learning because it still suppresses the increasing number of COVID-19 cases. The program implemented includes carrying out the teaching and learning process, training for all teachers and activities for students
