Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the Ummi method program in learning to read the Qur'an by SDIT Widya Cendekia students and the results obtained from the Ummi method. In carrying out this study the authors used qualitative research this study uses data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. After the data is obtained, the data is processed with several techniques, namely editing and data interpretation. Furthermore, all data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Ummi method program has good results so that it has a good effect on students at Sdit Widya Cendekia.

Abstract

Manajemen waktu merupakan kemampuan dalam merencanakan dan mengelola penggunaan waktu agar efisien. Bagi alumni S1 Psikologi yang sedang bekerja, kemampuan ini dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas kerja dan menghindari situasi yang terburu-buru sehingga dapat mencegah stres kerja karena menumpuknya pekerjaan. Bagi alumni S1 Psikologi yang melanjutkan studi ke tingkat magister atau profesi, manajemen waktu diperlukan dalam memanfaatkan waktu dengan efektif dan efisien dalam mengerjakan tugas akademik. Pelatihan manajemen waktu merupakan bagian dari kegiatan Program Pengembangan Keprofesian Berkelanjutan yang diselenggarakan oleh Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Negeri Malang (Fpsi UM) bekerja sama dengan Ikatan Alumni (IKA) Fpsi UM. Pelatihan time management dilaksanakan pada Sabtu, 29 Juli 2023 pukul 07.30 – 10.30 WIB secara daring melalui Zoom meeting. Peserta pelatihan terdiri dari 26 alumni yang lulus pada rentang waktu 2021-2023. Sebanyak 18 peserta mengisi kuesioner sebelum dan setelah pelatihan secara lengkap. Hasil jawaban peserta dibandingkan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan terhadap pemahaman manajemen waktu. Berdasarkan uji Wilcoxson Signed Rank Test diketahui pelatihan memengaruhi manajemen waktu peserta (p<0,001).

Abstract

Language is one of the domains of individual development. Language development is related to literacy skills, both from the beginning of life as well as in later times. Individual literacy abilities are related to academic achievement. Early childhood in the early stages of pre-school is the basis for the introduction and understanding of basic children's literacy. Therefore the concept of development and also efforts to maximize the potential for children's development is in accordance with their uniqueness. Because of its importance, this article will discuss developments related to language and literacy in children and the methods used in efforts to develop children's language skills and literacy.

Abstract

This research began with the implementation of the rice gathering, which is an arisan activity that is carried out in Jayi Village. This gathering is carried out 3 times a year and is carried out after the harvest takes place. In this arisan in terms of payment, the fee is determined which will get rice where the rice received will vary due to the uncertain price of rice. To answer this community phenomenon, the researchers formulated the problems that will be studied in this study, namely: 1) How is the implementation of the rice social gathering in Jayi Village, Sukahaji District, Majalengka Regency; 2) how is Islamic law reviewing the implementation of the rice social gathering in Jayi Village, Sukahaji District, District Majalengka. The research method used by the author is qualitative research, which merely describes the situation/events in the field (field research) in the form of observations, interviews and also documentation. The data that the writer obtained was then reduced, presented and concluded using descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study concluded that the rice arisan in Jayi Village, Sukahaji District, Majalengka Regency, was in accordance with Islamic law and some were not in accordance with Islamic law. The terms of the debt and receivables (qarḍ) are in accordance with the provisions. Then in the payment of this rice arisan, the muamalah principles have been applied, because the arisan participants are at risk with each other with the determination of the arisan payment. However, in obtaining the arisan rice obtained by the arisan participants are different, so that the practice of this rice arisan contains elements of gharar and lack of justice.

Abstract

The condition of learned helplessness is a condition that is vulnerable to undergraduate students. Various conditions of learned helplessness in students can be caused by changes in the environment, daily activities, and even academic challenges. Furthermore, this condition can impact a state of depression and even suicidal ideation in students. Various efforts are made to minimize or inhibit the negative impact of learned helplessness conditions by students through strengthening internal strengths within individuals, such as resilience. This research was conducted to see the role of resilience in minimizing conditions of learned helplessness among undergraduate students at Universitas Negeri Malang. This research is quantitative research with a correlational research design. Participants in this research were active undergraduate students at Universitas Negeri Malang. The instrument used to measure learned helplessness is the Learned Helplessness Scale (LHS) and the Adult Resilience Measurement Revised (ARM-R) for resilience. Both of them were adapted into Indonesian. The total participants involved in this research were 85 students from 8 faculties (M is equal to 19.99 ± 1.66). The results of the research show that there is a role of resilience in the condition of learned helplessness among undergraduate students of Universitas Negeri Malang, which is 23 percent.

Abstract

Adolescence is a transition period from childhood to adulthood. One aspect of development in adolescents is socio-emotional. If teenagers do not adapt to the changes that occur, they will have difficulty making choices, so when faced with problems, teenagers are unable to solve them. This article uses a research design that uses a literature review method from journal articles. The object of this research is the risk factors for suicidal behavior experienced by adolescents. The literature review was carried out from national journal articles. Searching for journal articles published in the 2018-2023 period using Google Scholar with several keywords, filtering was carried out using several criteria, namely articles showing a match with teenage suicidal behavior, the presence of suicidal behavior described in the article, and showing the underlying factors. Adolescents have suicidal behavior. Based on the results of literature studies, it is known that the risk factors for suicidal behavior in adolescents consist of three main factors: family, peers, and psychology. Low parental attention contributes to the risk of suicidal behavior in adolescents. Peer relationships and psychological factors such as mental disorders also play an important role. AbstrakRemaja merupakan masa peralihan dari masa kanak-kanan menuju dewasa. Salah satu aspek perkembangan pada remaja, yaitu sosio-emosional. Jika remaja tidak berhasil beradaptasi dengan perubahan yang terjadi, remaja akan mengalami kesulitan untuk menentukan pilihan sehingga ketika menghadapi permasalahan remaja tidak mampu untuk menyelesaikannya. Artikel ini menggunakan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kajian literatur (literature review) dari artikel jurnal. Objek penelitian ini adalah faktor-faktor risiko perilaku bunuh diri yang dialami oleh remaja. Literature review dilakukan berasal dari artikel jurnal nasional. Pencarian artikel jurnal yang digunakan terbit pada rentan tahun 2018-2023 menggunakan Google Scholar dengan beberapa kata kunci, dilakukan penyaringan dengan beberapa kriteria, yakni artikel menunjukkan kecocokan dengan perilaku bunuh diri remaja, adanya perilaku bunuh diri yang dijelaskan pada artikel, dan menunjukkan faktor yang mendasari remaja memiliki perilaku bunuh diri. Berdasarkan hasil studi literatur, diketahui bahwa faktor risiko terjadinya perilaku bunuh diri pada remaja terdiri dari tiga faktor utama, yaitu keluarga, teman sebaya, dan psikologis. Perhatian orang tua yang rendah, berkontribusi terhadap risiko perilaku bunuh diri pada remaja. Hubungan teman sebaya dan faktor psikologis seperti gangguan mental juga memainkan peran penting.

Abstract

This article discusses the readiness of individuals in early adulthood to enter marriage. Marriage is a relationship forged by a man and a woman to balance life biologically, psychologically, and socially. Although an age above 19 years is considered ideal for marriage, the main factor in marriage is the agreement and readiness between both partners before marriage. The method used in this article is a literature review by analyzing the psychological impact of the lack of readiness for marriage in early adulthood. The results of this article show that marriage must be prepared physically, mentally, and financially, and factors such as self-disclosure, trust, equality, intimacy, good conflict management, and open communication also contribute to marital satisfaction. Emotional readiness and emotional intelligence are important in maintaining the continuity of marriage and household success. Marriage without careful consideration has the risk of causing depression in partners, especially women. Therefore, individuals must carefully consider wedding preparations to avoid long-term negative impacts and ensure the family remains harmonious. AbstrakArtikel ini membahas tentang kesiapan individu pada masa dewasa awal dalam memasuki pernikahan, sebagai salah satu tugas perkembangan pada masa ini. Meskipun usia di atas 19 tahun dianggap ideal untuk menikah, faktor utama dalam pernikahan adalah persetujuan dan kesiapan yang disepakati oleh kedua pasangan sebelum melangsungkan pernikahan. Metode yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah review literatur dengan menganalisis dampak psikologis yang muncul akibat kurangnya kesiapan dalam pernikahan pada masa dewasa awal. Hasil dari artikel ini dapat diketahui bahwa pernikahan harus dipersiapkan secara fisik, mental, dan finansial, serta faktor-faktor seperti self-disclosure, kepercayaan, kesetaraan, keintiman, pengelolaan konflik yang baik, dan komunikasi yang terbuka juga berkontribusi pada kepuasan pernikahan. Kesiapan emosional dan kecerdasan emosi memainkan peran penting dalam menjaga kelangsungan pernikahan dan keberhasilan rumah tangga. Pernikahan tanpa pertimbangan yang matang berisiko menyebabkan depresi pada pasangan, terutama perempuan. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi individu untuk memikirkan persiapan pernikahan dengan matang agar terhindar dari dampak negatif jangka panjang.

Abstract

Humans face a variety of challenges and developmental journeys in every phase of life, including the emerging adulthood phase or at 18-25 years old, in which individuals build relationships, commit themselves to life's goals, and develop themselves. The shift from adolescence to adulthood frequently gives rise to doubt and unease, leading to a period of uncertainty known as a quarter-life crisis. This article aims to explore the role of social support from various sources affecting individuals who are experiencing quarter-life crises during the emerging adulthood phase. The research method used in the study of literature examines 10 journal articles that are relevant to the author's research. The data used in this research is secondary data, which is a type of data obtained indirectly. The data obtained was analyzed descriptively and thematically to describe findings in the literature and to identify key themes as well as relationships between information. The results show that the social support role of family, peers, and surroundings has a positive impact on reducing the rate of quarter-life crises in individuals between the ages of 18 and early 30 years. AbstrakManusia menghadapi berbagai tantangan dan perjalanan perkembangan dalam setiap fase kehidupan, termasuk dalam tahap emerging adulthood, dimana individu menjalin hubungan, berkomitmen pada tujuan hidup, dan mengembangkan diri. Peralihan dari remaja ke dewasa seringkali menimbulkan ketidakpastian dan kecemasan, memuncak dalam krisis pada quarter-life. Krisis ini dipicu oleh tuntutan dan tanggung jawab peralihan, serta tekanan sosial. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran dukungan sosial sehingga mampu memengaruhi individu yang sedang mengalami krisis pada quarter-life selama tahap emerging adulthood. Metode penelitian yang digunakan berupa studi literatur menelaah 10 artikel jurnal yang relevan dengan kata kunci. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder, merupakan jenis data yang diperoleh secara tidak langsung. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif dan tematik untuk menggambarkan temuan dalam literatur dan mengidentifikasi tema-tema utama serta hubungan antar informasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diamati bahwa adanya peran dukungan sosial dari keluarga, teman sebaya, dan lingkungan sekitar memiliki pengaruh positif dalam mengurangi tingkat krisis pada quarter-life pada individu yang berusia antara 18 hingga awal 30 tahun.

Abstract

Glass child, is a child who lives and grows up with siblings with disabilities or chronic illnesses. Glass child behavior is influenced by external and internal factors. External factors come from stimulus from outside that encourages the glass child to respond, while internal factors include the perceptions and emotional turmoil that the glass child is feeling. The aim of this research is to examine the glass child phenomenon through the locus of control theory by Rotter, by analyzing the dynamics of behavior in glass children. The method used in this research is a literature study. Through the analysis of eight journals, it can be seen that the locus of control in glass children tends to lead to an external locus of control. Namely, the glass child believes that as an individual has no control over her or his behavior, but is controlled by things outside himself such as other people, fate, in this case, such as parents, and other family members, who have high expectations, as well as environmental perceptions. Belief in fate, namely having a sibling with a disability. In addition, individuals with an extremely external locus of control tend to be more easily stressed and experience depression. AbstrakGlass child, anak yang tinggal dan tumbuh bersama dengan saudara dengan disabilitas maupun penyakit kronis. Perilaku glass child dipengaruhi oleh faktor eksternal dan faktor internal. Faktor eksternal yaitu ketika ada stimulus dari luar yang mendorong glass child untuk memberikan respon, sedangkan faktor internal mencakup persepsi dan gejolak emosi yang dirasakan glass child selama tumbuh dengan saudara disabilitas dan memiliki penyakit kronis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menelaah fenomena glass child melalui teori locus of control oleh Julian B. Rotter, dengan menganalisis dinamika perilaku pada glass child. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur. Melalui analisis delapan jurnal dan artikel dapat diketahui bahwa locus of control pada glass child cenderung mengarah ke locus of control eksternal. Yaitu, bahwa glass chlid percaya bahwa sebagai individu ia tidak memiliki kendali atas perilakunya, melainkan dikendalikan oleh hal hal diluar dirinya seperti orang lain, dan nasib. Orang lain, dalam hal ini seperti orang tua, dan anggota keluarga yang lain, yang berekspektasi yang tinggi, serta persepsi lingkungan terhadap saudara. Kepercayaan terhadap nasib yaitu nasib memiliki saudara kandung dengan disabilitas sebagai alasan yang akan menentukan diri dan perilakunya dimasa depan. Selain itu, individu dengan locus of control eksternal yang ekstrim cenderung lebih mudah stress.

Abstract

The use of digital technology, especially smartphones, continues to increase from year to year, from children to teenagers and adults. The use of digital technology for children must be accompanied by parents. Parental assistance in this case is called digital parenting. This article aims to provide an overview of digital parenting for children and adolescents through the integration of empirical findings from previous articles. The second objective is to find factors that play a role in parental digital parenting. The method used is a narrative literature review. The data used in this research were seven articles from 17 articles that were collected. The results show that digital parenting is influenced by various factors, namely: parental self-efficacy, technology access, internet access, demographic factors, socio-economic conditions and parenting style. The existence of programs such as eParenting also plays a role in digital parenting. Most parents understand both the risks and benefits of digital technology, and there are efforts by parents to reduce these negative impacts. AbstrakPenggunaan teknologi digital khususnya smartphone terus meningkat dari tahun ke tahun, dari mulai anak-anak hingga remaja dan juga dewasa. Penggunaan teknologi digital bagi anak haruslah dengan pendampingan orang tua. Pendampingan orang tua dalam hal ini disebut pengasuhan digital. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran pengasuhan digital pada anak-anak dan remaja melalui integrasi temuan empiris dari artikel terdahulu. Tujuan kedua yaitu mencari faktor yang berperan dalam pengasuhan digital orangtua. Metode yang digunakan adalah narrative literature review. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tujuh artikel dari 17 artikel yang berhasil dihimpun. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pengasuhan digital orang tua dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor yaitu: efikasi diri orang tua, akses teknologi, akses internet, faktor demografis, kondisi sosial ekonomi dan gaya pengasuhan. Adanya program seperti eParenting juga berperan dalam pengasuhan digital. Sebagian besar orang tua telah memahami baik resiko maupun manfaat teknologi digital, dan ada upaya-upaya dari orang tua untuk mengurangi dampak negatif tersebut.
