Abstract

Giving zakat to mama biang is one of the problems of zakat distribution that has attracted controversy. In the people of Negeri Iha, Maluku, the giving of zakat mama biang has become a tradition that has survived into the modern era. The purpose of this study is to study the practice of distributing zakat to Mama Biang, the opinions of tafsir scholars and  the implications for  Islamic law. The study uses empirical legal studies with an anthropological approach to Islamic law. While data collection techniques are in-depth interviews and literature studies. This study concluded that the controversy over the distribution of zakat mama biang occurred due to differences in scholars' interpretations of the meaning of fīsabīlillāh which had implications for differences in people's understanding of Islamic law. People who maintain the tradition of zakat mama biang understand that the distribution of zakat mama biang is in accordance with Islamic law, relying on the opinion of scholars who expand the meaning of fīsabīlillāh to include mama biang. Meanwhile, some people understand that mama biang zakat is not in accordance with Islamic law.  The controversy over the distribution of zakat to mama biang also occurs because zakat is not distributed evenly to all existing asnaf, this  can also trigger gaps in society. Therefore, in the perspective of legal anthropology, the practice of giving to mama biang can continue as a local tradition, but this gift can be categorized as infaq or sadaqah, not zakat. So that this can give birth to harmonious legal implications between Islamic law and adat which has become living law.

Abstract

The integration of Islamic psychotherapy into contemporary mental health and rehabilitation frameworks has gained increased scholarly attention in recent years. This study presents a systematic literature review of peer-reviewed articles published between 2010 and 2025, focusing on the application, effectiveness, and theoretical foundations of Islamic psychotherapy in diverse settings. Utilizing the PRISMA 2020 protocol, 45 articles were selected from databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed, and Garuda. Thematic analysis revealed three major trends: the implementation of Islamic psychotherapy within faith-based institutions, the theoretical integration of Islamic principles with Western psychotherapeutic models such as CBT, and outcome-based empirical evaluations. Despite promising findings, the review identified significant gaps in scalability, methodological rigor, and digital adaptation. Few studies explored applications in public institutions or the potential of mobile and teletherapy platforms. The findings underscore the need for a more inclusive, interdisciplinary approach that bridges spiritual values and scientific practice. This study contributes to the development of culturally sensitive mental health strategies and calls for greater integration of Islamic psychotherapy into mainstream psychological services, supported by empirical validation, professional training, and digital innovation

Abstract

This research examines the dynamics, dogma, and dialogue of religious harmony through a comparative case study between Cigugur Village, Indonesia, as the center of Sunda Wiwitan belief, and El-Gamaliya, Cairo, Egypt, an old city area with Islamic and Christian communities. Using a qualitative approach based on a case study design, data was collected through in-depth interviews and participatory observation of religious leaders and local communities. The results show that in Cigugur, harmony developed from civil society initiatives through informal forums such as Bajigur, interfaith social practices, and the example of religious leaders without state intervention. In El-Gamaliya, harmony is supported by wasathiyah Islamic principles, daily social interactions and collective nationalism that create harmony between Muslims and Christians. Religious dogma in both regions is inclusive, accepting local traditions and diversity, with interfaith dialogue growing organically through shamanism rather than formal forums. This research confirms that religious harmony is effective through local values, grassroots dialogue and culture-based social integration, not just the state's normative approach. The findings are relevant to policies on religious moderation, multicultural education, and managing diversity in an increasingly complex global society.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation form and identify the opportunities and challenges of applying Customer Relationship Management (CRM) in an effort to maintain and increase customer loyalty at PT. Ranum Jaya Abadi, a Hajj and Umrah travel agency in Sidrap Regency. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews with management, staff, and customers, as well as documentation studies. The results show that CRM implementation is carried out through three main stages: identification of customer needs, increasing loyalty through sincere and personal service, and maintaining relationships through sustainable interaction. CRM opportunities lie in the use of digital technology for market mapping, operational efficiency, and service personalization. The main challenges are adaptation to rapid technological changes, data management complexity, and the need for human resource development. This study concludes that CRM implemented with Islamic communication principles (Shiddiq, Amanah, Tabligh, Fathonah) and local Pangngaderreng values is effective in building customer loyalty.
