Abstract

Cerpen yang dikarang oleh Kuntowijoyo sarat akan pesan-pesan moral dan juga kental dengan tradisi dan budaya Jawa. Melalui kumpulan cerpen tersebut peneliti bermaksud untuk menggali tradisi dan kebudayaan Jawa sehingga dapat menemukan sikap hidup masyarakat Jawa yang dapat diteladani. Pada penelitian  ini peneliti menggunakan desain deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data yang dideskripsikan dalam penelitian ini adalah data yang terkandung dalam cerpen-cerpen karya Kuntowijoyo. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik simak dan catat. Hasil analisis data berupa temuan representasi sikap hidup masyarakat Jawa yaitu: (1) sikap hormat, (2) sikap tanggung jawab, (3) sikap patuh, (4) sikap kerjasama/gotongroyong, dan (5) sikap bermusyawarah.

Abstract

Anak usia dini berkembang dengan baik jika diberikan stimulasi yang tepat. Salah satu kemampuan AUD yang perlu dipenuhi adalah kemampuan intelektual. Kemampuan intelektual ini dapat distimulasi melalui pembelajaran berbasis alam sebagai implementasi kurikulum Merdeka. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana implementasi kurikulum Merdeka melalui pembelajaran berbasis alam sebagai stimulasi perkembangan intelektual AUD. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelompok A TK Ekasari Ds Krandegan kec kebonsari Kab Madiun. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis alam dapat menstimulasi perkembangan intelektual anak usia dini sebagai implementasi kurikulum Merdeka.

Abstract

Emotions can be manifestations of affection, happiness, anger, annoyance, hatred, sadness, disappointment, fear, depression, and so on. In every emotion, humans can exercise emotional control or emotional regulation. Expressions of verbal emotional regulation can be in the form of positive or negative words, phrases or sentences depending on how emotional regulation each individual has. The aim of this research is to find out how STKIP PGRI Ponorogo students express verbal emotional regulation. The research method is descriptive qualitative. Where the researcher used a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire which contained five questions or situational contexts to collect research data related to the form of verbal emotional regulation expressions of STKIP PGRI Ponorogo students. Furthermore, the collected emotional data and forms of verbal expression of emotional regulation were analyzed using psycholinguistic studies. The results of data analysis in each situation context show that STKIP PGRI Ponorogo students are good when experiencing emotions of happiness, anger, sadness, anxiety and depression, expressing their verbal emotional regulation using positive and good sentences. The results of this research can add information regarding the sentences used by students in their verbal emotional regulation and can be used as reflection material for lecturers in improving the learning process..

Abstract

Persuasive language is a sentence that aims to invite and influence someone to follow what they want. The purpose of this study was to explain the use of persuasive language through rationalization, suggestion and conformity technique within cosmetic advertisements on television. The research is designed as descriptive qualitative, specifically discourse analysis. To analyze data, the researcher classified the types of persuasive language based on the Keraf ’s classification (2007), including rationalization, suggestion, and conformity techniques. A total of 51 cosmetics advertisement were chosen. The result of study showed that a number of techniques were clearly used in cosmetics advertisements in TV. Firstly, rationalization technique used in 17 cosmetic advertisements marked by the number of products, benefits, ingredients, and result obtained after using these cosmetic products. Secondly, suggestion technique used in 22 cosmetic advertisements, marked by showing the advantages of using the cosmetic products. Lastly, conformity technique used in 12 cosmetic advertisements which marked by the use of national artists or public figures.

Abstract

Research on politeness discusses the use or application of language (language use) in a particular language community. Speech society is defined as people who have various backgrounds in the social and cultural conditions that surround them. This study discusses politeness in terms of the meaning and function of speech. The purpose of this research is to describe the form of wisdom maxims, suitability maxims, and conclusions maxims found in the comments column on the Facebook group in the “Info Cegatan Wilayah Ponorogo”. This type of research was using descriptive data with qualitative approach. Descriptive data in this study were in the form of written words in the comments column collected from the field, based on existing facts. The results of the analysis conducted by the researcher, there were three types of maxims, namely tact maxims, agreement maxims, and approbation maxims.

Abstract

Literature is a work that built by the author based on his/her social sensitivity of environment. This makes literature has various perspectives. One of them is inserting the ideological element in the structure of literary works. The transfer of ideology through hegemony makes people different from one and another. Likewise, in the novel LautBercerita by Chudori, which tells the story of a life conflict realized in ideological differences. The purpose of this research is to describe the ideology of authoritarianism and democratic contained in the novel LautBercerita. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative, designed as literature review. The theory of Salamini on ideology was used to analyze the findings. The result of study showed that the novel depicted the ideology of authoritarianism and democratic which covered: i) elements of consciousness, ii) material elements, iii) elements of solidarity-identity and iv) elements of freedom.

Abstract

Poetry is the literary work that highlights the beauty of language. In everyday life, poetry is often found in song lyrics, which have a distincive and beautiful language style, for example the song album title Jadi Aku Sebentar Saja, popularized by Judika. The aims of the research are to descri be the figurative language in song lyrics and to find out their function. The research belongs to descriptive qualitative and designed as library research. The object of study which becomes the material of study is the song lyrics. From the results of the researcher’s data, it is known the description of language style contained in the Judika’s song album includes: (a) anaphora (b) epipora, (c) repetition, (d) alliterative (e) assonance, (f) polisidenton, (g) litotes, (h) hyperbole, (i) allegory, (k) metaphorical, (l) personification, (m) simile, (n) cynicism, (o) climax, and (p) irony. In addition, there is a stylistic functions of these figures. The function of language style is to enable song lyrics writer’s express his/her feelings about something that has been experienced, seen, or heard. Suggestions for readers when analyzing literary works of language style should be carried out more thoroughly and focus on the study in order to get maximum results.

Abstract

In literature, language style is often viewed as the author’s language technique to express all ideas in literary works with make it distinctive. This study is aimed at describing the language style in novel Hati Suhita by Khilma Anis based on stylistic theory; a theory that discusses the style or language style in a literary work, both in spoken and written. The researcher used qualitative research method and designed as literature review. The words of the object under study are the results of the study in this study. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the novel author uses (1) comparative language styles found in this study include: parable language style, personified language style, allegory language style, pleonamse language style, antithesis language style, and corrective language style. (2) Conflict language styles found in this study include: hyperbole language style, litotes language style, zeugma language style, paradox language style, and climax language style. (3) Linkage language styles found in this study include: polysindetone style, asindeton language style, metonymy language style, euphemism language style, antonomasia language style, parallelism language style, ellipsis language style, and alusi language style. (4) The repetitive language styles found in this study include: anapora language style, epistrofa language style, epizeukis language style, alliteration language style, and assonance language style.
