Abstract

This study aims to analyze tourist behaviour, perceptions, motivation to visit, and satisfaction towards Banyuwangi tourism and its impact on community empowerment. This is a qualitative descriptive study using snowball sampling to collect research data. Research informants were the Culture & Tourism Office officer, an officer of the Cooperative, Medium Business, &Trade Office, 87 tourists, 4 guides, 11 micro-business actors, and 4 Local Tourism Awareness Group representatives. Results showed that most tourists visited Banyuwangi to see Ijen's blue fire, Alas Purwo, & local customs. They gained information from word of mouth, the Internet, & social media. Most tourists perceived that Banyuwangi tourism has good transportation facilities, supporting infrastructure, and accessibility with an affordable entry ticket. The primary motivations to visit Banyuwangi were to escape the routine, gathering with family & friends, increasing local culture knowledge, enjoying sports facilities, and adventure. Most tourists were satisfied & would like to revisit Banyuwangi & recommend it to others. In the last five years, Banyuwangi tourism shows significant developments. It has a positive effect on the community, especially for micro-business entrepreneurs. Keywords: community empowerment, motivation, perception, tourist behaviour

Abstract

The geographical condition of the Banyuwangi district 5,782.50 km2 is partly a forest area. One element of the agricultural sector that has not been explored optimally is agro-tourism. The physical potential of the Banjar and Segobang Villages has volcanic and Alluvial types which are very fertile because they are located on the slopes of Mount Ijen. The purpose of this research is to encourage the people of Segobang Village and Banjar Village, Licin District to optimize their agricultural land so that they have added value by realizing agro-tourism through community empowerment. The method in this study uses qualitative methods. The results of this study are that farmers need guidance to manage agricultural businesses into tourism businesses, so it is not only limited to how to meet food needs. Village parties need to promote through social / web media, print media and festivals. The potential of each village needs to be combined with branding, Segobang Village with "MINA UMBAR" branding and Banjar Village with "JEMALI" Licin Sweet Orange Branding. Building a network between farmers and several resorts and homestays around the villages of Banjar and Segobang also needs to be done with the aim of good fish, organic rice, palm sugar and slippery oranges can be used as souvenirs and food and beverage menu items.

Abstract

Kegiatan Kepelabuhanan di Tanjung Wangi seperti tarif jasa labuh dan jasa kenavigasian masih belum dikelola oleh Kesyahbandaran dan Otoritas Pelabuhan (KSOP) sejak undang-undang nomor 17 tahun 2008 diterbitkan dan penetapan tarif jasa kegiatan kepelabuhanan lebih tinggi dari Peraturan Pemerintah nomor 15 Tahun 2016. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penyebab pengelolaan tarif kegiatan kepelabuhanan belum dikelola secara menyeluruh oleh Kesyahbandaran dan Otoritas Pelabuhan dan untuk mengetahui dampak yang ditimbulkan akibat terjadinya penerapan peraturan pemerintah nomor 15 tahun 2016. Metode dalam penelitian ini penggunakan metode kualitatif. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini direncanakan menggunakan purposive sampling. Informan kunci adalah Kesyahbandaran dan Otoritas Pelabuhan, PT. Pelindo III dan perusahaan pelayaran. Hasil penelitian ini adalah pengelolaan tarif kegiatan kepelabuhanan khususnya tarif jasa labuh dan tarif jasa navigasi masih dikelola PT. Pelindo III Tanjung Wangi sejak undang-undang nomor 17 tahun 2008 diterbitkan, karena PT. Pelindo III Tanjung Wangi mengacu keputusan direksi PT (PERSERO) Pelabuhan Indonesia III nomor KEP.13/PJ.5.03/P.III-2000. Namun sejak PP nomor 15 tahun 2016 diberlakukan pengelolaan tarif kegiatan kepelabuhanan sudah sesuai dengan UU nomor 17 tahun 2008 tentang pelayaran. Dampak yang ditimbulkan terkait penerapan PP nomor 15 tahun 2016 adalah bagi Kesyahbandaran dan Otoritas Pelabuhan dan Pelindo III yaitu kedua institusi tersebut dapat dapat mendukung program pemerintah pusat dalam meningkatkan pelayanan dan mengurangi praktik pungli. Bagi pengguna jasa, sebagian besar responnya positif karena didukung sarana on line.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify existing conditions, inhibiting factors and identify the right model to support inclusive education based on creative economy. The research method used is a qualitative approach. The informants of this research are the Education Office, the Branch of the Education Office of East Java Province, Banyuwangi Regency, Special Advisor Teachers, PLB Supervisors and Micro Business Actors. The results of the study revealed that the implementation of the curriculum used in the implementation of learning implemented by inclusive schools in Banyuwangi had adjusted to the needs of children with special needs. The obstacle for inclusive schools is that most inclusive schools are still struggling academically and have not prepared for the independence of the world of work, because inclusive schools tend to be for students with special needs who have hopes of going to a higher level of education. Meanwhile, vocational education for children with special needs tends to be in special schools. The absence of special educators in the creative economy and training carried out by the government through micro-enterprises is not sustainable. The right model used in the implementation of creative economy-based inclusive education in Banyuwangi Regency is by pioneering a double track inclusive school that combines academic and vocational activities as well as cooperate with micro business actors considering that Banyuwangi micro business actors have various types of business fields such as batik, souvenirs and culinary.

Abstract

Amid continuing advances in the world of digital marketing, the role of social media as an effective marketing platform is increasingly becoming key, especially for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). In facing this challenge, it is important for MSMEs to have human resources (HR) that suit the needs of the digital age. This research examines the urgency of developing human resources in the context of digital marketing, especially to advance the MSME sector in the realm of social media. The focus of this research is to consider the knowledge and skills required by MSME employees in using social media as an effective marketing tool. By implementing appropriate HR development strategies, MSMEs have the opportunity to gain significant benefits, including increased creativity, adaptation to changing trends, and the ability to compete in an increasingly competitive digital marketing era. In the context of human resource development in the digital marketing era to improve the performance of the MSME sector, the importance of special training and access to the latest information and resources are key strategies that must be implemented.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya permasalahan yang menunjukkan kurangnya minat untuk anak-anak TK dalam mengkonsumsi ikan laut karena sebagian besar alasannya rasanya terkesan amis dan juga ada yang beberapa siswa yang alergi gatal dll. Selain itu kurangnya pendorong dalam edukasi mengkonsumsi ikan laut juga menjadi permasalahan pada mitra, sehingga perlunya sosialisasi terkait kandungan ikan laut diadakan pada TK Aisiyah Bustanul Athfal 1 Dadapan Banyuwangi agar semua pihak lebih sadar untuk gemar konsumsi ikan laut. Permasalahan terakhir yakni belum ada program gemar makan ikan hanya program makan sehat saja, sehingga perlu ditingkatkan menjadi program Gemarikan agar bisa meningkatkan konsumsi ikan laut dan menjadi TK percontohan yang telah melakukan program Gemarikan. Adapun tujuan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini untuk memberikan edukasi kepada guru, orang tua walimurid TK untuk lebih sadar dan berinovasi dalam mengolah ikan laut agar anak-anak menyukai konsumsi ikan laut karena manfaat ikan laut yang mengandung omega 3 yang baik untuk perkembangan otak anak usia dini. Berdasarkan dari hasil kegiatan yang telah dilakukan ini yakni program GEMARIKAN sangat dibutuhkan untuk anak usia dini dengan memberikan edukasi kepada guru, walimurid dan mencontohkan atau mempraktekkan secara langsung untuk mengkonsumsi ikan laut. Setelah kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (Gemarikan) ini diharapkan dengan membuat program gemar ikan yang mewajibkan mengkonsumsi laut kepada murid-murid TK Aisiyah Bustanul Athfal 1 Dadapan Banyuwangi. Program wajib mengkonsumsi laut dilakukan satu bulan satu kali oleh murid-murid TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 1 Dadapan Banyuwangi dengan cara makan bersama-sama dikelas.

Abstract

Kepuasan pelanggan sangatlah penting dalam mengevaluasi kinerja bisnis. Semakin tinggi tingkat kepuasan pelanggan, semakin besar kemungkinan pelanggan untuk tetap setia dan membeli produk atau layanan yang ditawarkan di masa depan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan pelanggan kapal laut penyeberangan Ketapang-Gilimanuk. Faktor-faktor yang dianalisis meliputi persepsi harga, kualitas pelayanan, nilai, dan kepuasan pelanggan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif eksplanatori yang bertujuan untuk mengukur kekuatan hubungan antara variabel laten dengan model yang kompleks dan tidak dapat diselesaikan dengan alat analisis regresi. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 100 responden pengguna/penumpang umum kapal laut jalur Ketapang-Gilimanuk pada tahun 2021-2022. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi harga tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap nilai pelanggan, sementara kualitas pelayanan tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Namun, kualitas pelayanan secara langsung berpengaruh terhadap nilai pelanggan dan nilai pelanggan berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Selain itu, nilai pelanggan terbukti sebagai variabel mediator yang mempengaruhi hubungan antara kualitas pelayanan dan kepuasan pelanggan, sementara nilai pelanggan tidak berperan sebagai mediasi persepsi harga terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan masukan bagi penyedia jasa transportasi laut untuk memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik bagi masyarakat. Terutama dalam lingkungan bisnis yang sangat kompetitif saat ini, mempertahankan kepuasan pelanggan menjadi sangat penting untuk keberhasilan jangka panjang suatu bisnis. Kepuasan pelanggan adalah ukuran penting dalam mengevaluasi kinerja bisnis. Semakin tinggi tingkat kepuasan pelanggan, semakin besar kemungkinan pelanggan untuk tetap loyal dan membeli produk atau layanan yang ditawarkan di masa depan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membekali generasi muda, khususnya siswa SMA NU Gombengsari Kalipuro Banyuwangi, dengan wawasan dan keterampilan dalam bidang kewirausahaan serta pemahaman pentingnya manajemen bisnis dan isu kekerasan seksual. Program ini terdiri dari dua sesi utama, yakni pendampingan kewirausahaan bertajuk “Practice Young Entrepreneur” dan sosialisasi edukatif mengenai kekerasan seksual. Dalam sesi kewirausahaan, siswa diarahkan untuk mengenali potensi diri, menggali peluang usaha di lingkungan sekitar, dan menyusun rencana bisnis sederhana berdasarkan kreativitas masing-masing. Kegiatan ini juga menghadirkan para narasumber profesional dari kalangan akademisi dan praktisi usaha yang membagikan pengalaman serta strategi bisnis yang aplikatif. Di sisi lain, sosialisasi kekerasan seksual bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran siswa terhadap bahaya kekerasan berbasis gender, baik di lingkungan sekolah maupun dunia digital. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan, kepercayaan diri, serta semangat siswa untuk memulai usaha mandiri, disertai dengan kesadaran baru mengenai pentingnya menjaga keselamatan dan hak diri. Program ini diakhiri dengan presentasi rencana bisnis siswa dan penyerahan apresiasi, sebagai bentuk dukungan terhadap semangat wirausaha muda.

Abstract

Discipline is one of the key aspects in shaping students' character, especially in vocational school environments. The drill training (Peraturan Baris Berbaris or PBB) by lecturers, instructors, and cadets from the Academy of Maritime Banyuwangi at SMK NU Sudirman Rogojampi Banyuwangi aims to improve students' discipline, teamwork, and responsibility through structured activities. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation to evaluate the effectiveness of this training program. The results show that the PBB training enhances students' ability to follow rules, improves teamwork skills, and fosters a more disciplined character. The discussion of the research links the findings with previous studies, which indicate that discipline-based training is effective in developing students' non-technical (soft) skills that are relevant to the needs of the workforce. The conclusion of this study is that PBB training not only provides practical benefits in improving student discipline but also contributes to strengthening character education overall. The collaboration between higher education institutions and secondary schools has also proven to be effective in providing a holistic learning experience for students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to clearly understand the profile of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) classified as herbal products in Banyuwangi. Furthermore, the purpose of this study is to identify the problems faced by these entrepreneurs and the efforts made to overcome these problems. The approach used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The population in this study is micro, small, and medium-scale entrepreneurs classified as herbal products in Banyuwangi. The sample in this study is producers of herbal products in Banyuwangi who are still actively running their businesses. The data analysis method used is to process data in depth with data from observations, interviews, and literature. Data analysis techniques are carried out by summarizing, categorizing, and interpreting. The results of the study show that the profile of small, micro, and medium enterprises in Banyuwangi Regency shows that MSMEs in the classification of herbal products in Banyuwangi Regency on average start their businesses with their own capital. The number of employees involved in their activities ranges from 2-5, with a monthly turnover of between Rp 8,000,000 and Rp 80,000,000. The products produced by this herbal business in Banyuwangi include beverages, food, and medicines or herbal medicine. Information obtained from informants indicates that sales have increased by 30%-75% during the COVID-19 pandemic. The current challenge is the high cost of production. Financial support is also essential for expanding production scale. Difficulties in obtaining permits are considered very burdensome for business owners, hindering the expansion of marketing activities.
