Continuous maintenance, management and protection efforts are very important in turtle conservation to avoid extinction and damage. This research aims to calculate the level of community participation in turtle conservation activities using quantitative methods by distributing questionnaires. The population in this study was the entire Patoreang Mampie Hamlet community around the beach and the sample size was 40 respondents. The results of the research show that the level of community participation in the form of planning is included in the high category with a score of 2.71 because the community's environmental awareness is very high and the management of the turtle house has provided education related to maintaining and preserving the existence of turtles and the level of community participation in the form of management is included in the category high with a score of 2.75 as evidenced by community participation in turtle conservation activities, turtle festival activities, and the release of turtle hatchlings. Participation in the form of monitoring and evaluation is included in the high category with a score of 2.60, which means that the community often gives free time to monitor and oversee conservation activities around the turtle house area so that they run well and effectively. Abstract

This research aims to determine community perceptions in forest management based on forest characteristics and forest management models in the Liawan Sub-watershed, Mamasa Watershed. Management and utilization of Indonesia's forest potential must be accompanied by maintaining and restoring previously existing ecosystem functions in order to maintain the preservation of forest ecosystems. Nevertheless. Local communities also act as conservator agents apart from only utilizing the potential of forest resources as well as a component of its management. Until the early 1970s, the local wisdom of very diverse communities still dominated forest management systems throughout Indonesia, especially outside Java. Indigenous communities, which have not had much intervention from exploitative government policies, still manage their customary forests autonomously to ensure the continuity of community life. The local knowledge of the people who live in the Liawan Sub-watershed is very important to know that the people still maintain the proper order of water sources. People living in the Liawan Sub-watershed area are very dependent on forests which contain water sources from Mount Sareong for clean water, agriculture and electricity generation purposes. There are many applications of local community knowledge in forest management around the Liawan watershed that need to be published as teaching materials and additional knowledge.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the best formulation of pine cones in making biopesticides, find out the processing of pine waste in overcoming pest problems in spinach plants and the growth of spinach plants that have been given biopesticide made from pine cones. biopesticide standard. The treatment used was a combination of biopesticide and pine cones with a ratio of L0 = control (without biopesticide), L1 = 1:10:3:1, L2 = 1:10:3:3, L3 = 1:10:3:6, Each treatment was repeated 3 times. Making biopesticide uses 250 ml of acetone solution, 6 liters of clean water, and pine fruit waste according to a predetermined formulation. It is hoped that the results of this research will be able to utilize pine cones in everyday life to become an economically valuable product to ensure the fulfillment of food needs in supporting food security and independence programs.
