Abstract

Organic molecules with a conjugated chain structure such as the Disperse Red-1 (DR-1) molecule are known as potential materials for photonic device applications. The aim of this research is to study the surface effect of Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) substrate and the external electric field of 2.6 MV / m in regulating the orientation of the DR-1 film molecules on the surface of the ITO substrate. The fabrication method used is the PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) method assisted by an external electric field. This method is a modification of the conventional PVD method which is equipped with the addition of an external electric field (E) in the chamber. The film was made on the surface of the ITO substrate with the deposition of DR-1 molecules in a variation of the external electric field, namely zero field and E = 3.3 MV / m. The films were analyzed and characterized using XRD (X-Ray Diffraction) spectroscopy. The X-ray diffraction measurement analysis showed that the DR-1 molecules were arranged in an orderly manner parallel to the surface of the ITO substrate, indicating an indication of the strong surface effect of the ITO substrate from the hydrogen bonding of the DR-1 molecule with the ITO substrate. The results of spectroscopic measurements show that with an increase in the external electric field, there is an increase in the effect of aggregation of molecules arranged in an orderly manner perpendicular to the surface of the ITO substrate.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using instructional video media on the learning outcomes of high school students in class X on energy materials. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Beo. The research design used a pretest posttest control group design, with the research sample being the experimental class and the control class. The experimental class was treated with learning using video while the control class did not use video. The instrument used in the study was a multiple-choice test. Based on descriptive statistical analysis, the average value of the control class was 6.48 and the average value of the experimental class was 7.86. Based on the results of the independent simple t-test, the value of -ttable > tcount then Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of using instructional video media on student learning outcomes. The use of learning video media has a good influence on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Physics learning process still has many obstacles including the limitations of the use of practicaltools in the learning process, teachers in teaching using methods that are not in accordance with thecharacteristics of the material being taught. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of thePhET Media Media-Aided Discovery Learning model on student learning processes and outcomes.This research is an experimental research with one group pretest & postest design. The populationis all students of class X1 at SMAN 1 Remboken 2019/2020, and the sample is class XI IPA 2. Dataanalysis of science process skills has fulfilled both good and very good categories (66% -79%) and(80% -100%). The average student learning outcomes seen from the posttest = 80 which is greaterthan the KKM value. T-test results obtained t-count = 3.093 and t-table = 2.051 with a significancelevel of 5%. Therefore tcount> table then: H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, it can be concludedthat the Discovery Learning model with the help of the PhET simulations media is effective againstthe process and student learning outcomes at SMAN 1 Remboken on the kinetic gas theory material.

Abstract

So far in physics subjects, especially material that contain many formulas, students have complained about difficulties in accepting the material. This is because the learning model and learning media used are still not in accordance with the material provided. The study aimed to analyze surveys about learning model used in physics lesson and tests using indicators of creative thinking ability specially on the material elasticity. This research is preliminary research with a descriptive research design. This research does not use a hypothetical test design but rather a description research project. The study was conducted on 181 students consisting of: 78 male students and 103 female students. The study uses three instruments to gather data, i.e. a.) a creative thinking test instrument of four indicators flexibility, elaboration, originality and fluency on material elasticity and Hooke law, b.) teacher interview sheet about learning model used in physics lesson, c.) student questionnaire about perspective of physics lesson, learning models and learning media. The results showed the creative thinking ability of students still belongs to the low category. The implication is that teachers must be able to apply appropriate learning models and learning media in the process so that students are able to receive the material well and have the ability to think creatively.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement in learning outcomes of the application of environmental physics learning with the discovery learning model on static fluid material. The research method used is pre-experimental research with a one group pre-test post-test design. This research was carried out in three stages. The first stage is by giving a pre-test to measure the initial ability of students, the second stage is giving treatment by using an environment based physics learning strategy with discovery learning model. The third stage is giving a post-test to measure the learning outcomes of the students as well as an evaluation of the learning done. The subjects of this study were students of Class XI F1 at SMA Negeri 1 Remboken. Based on the data analysis conducted using paired samples T-test obtained sig value. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05 so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that environment-based physics learning with the Discovery Learning model on static fluid material can improve the learning outcomes of students in Grade XI at SMA Negeri 1 Remboken.

Abstract

Keterbatasan alat praktikum fisika di sekolah di Indonesia, khususnya pada materi gerak jatuh bebas dan percepatan gravitasi, menyebabkan keterbatasan pemahaman konseptual peserta didik terhadap fenomena tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan mengembangkan alat praktikum percepatan gravitasi menggunakan Arduino Uno dengan sensor inframerah FC-51. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan tahapan perencanaan, perakitan, dan pengujian alat. Sensor FC-51 digunakan untuk mendeteksi waktu tempuh jatuh bebas benda uji, kemudian nilai percepatan gravitasi dihitung menggunakan pemrograman pada mikrokontroler Arduino. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa alat mampu mengukur waktu dengan akurasi tinggi dan menghitung percepatan gravitasi dengan ketepatan antara 96,51% hingga 99,76% terhadap nilai teoritis. Grafik regresi antara hasil pengukuran alat dan nilai teoritis menunjukkan hubungan linier yang sangat kuat dengan persamaan regresi y = 1,058x – 0,4288 dan koefisien determinasi = 0,983. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa alat berfungsi secara valid dan akurat. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa alat praktikum digital berbasis Arduino dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran fisika yang efektif, praktis, dan edukatif dalam memperagakan konsep percepatan gravitasi.

Abstract

The natural exploration approach (JAS) is used to utilize the surrounding natural environment as an object of knowledge. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the JAS approach on wave material on student learning outcomes. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The results showed that the experimental class produced an average pretest score of 6.14, and after learning using the natural exploration approach (JAS), the average posttest score was 63.66. The control class had an average pretest score of 4.42 and an average posttest score of 40. A statistical analysis using an independent sample t-test obtained a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.001 <0.05, thus rejecting and accepting . Based on the results, it can be stated that the use of the natural exploration approach (JAS) has an effect on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) cooperative learning model is an approach that focuses on active interaction between students through discussion activities and information exchange between groups. This study was conducted with the aim of determining the effect of the TSTS model on the learning outcomes of students at Tondano 2Public High School on the subject of temperature and heat. The method applied in this study was a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design,involving two classes, namely the experimental class and the controlclass. In the experimental class, the pretest results showed an average of 34 and increased to 83.05 in the posttest, while the control class experienced an increase from an average of 33.52 to 73.81. Furthermore, a statistical analysis in the form of an independent t-test was conducted, which yielded a sig. value of 0.0002 (<0.05), indicating that there was a significant difference in learning outcomes between the two groups. The application of the TSTS cooperative learning model proved to be effective in improving learning outcomes because it encouraged students to be more active, responsible, and directly participate in learning activities. From these results, it can be concluded that the application of the TSTS cooperative learning model has a positive effect on improving student learning outcomes on the topic of temperature and heat.

Abstract

As the holder of power in the administration of government based on the constitution, the president has set a new policy, namely regarding the mechanism for granting presidential approval to draft regulations of ministers or heads of institutions. With the birth of this arrangement, every policy of ministers or heads of institutions with certain criteria must obtain presidential approval before being determined. The mechanism carried out after harmonization has indirectly obscured the stage of forming laws and regulations that are prevalent today. With juridical normative research methods that use statutory, conceptual, and historical approaches, it was found that the arrangement for granting presidential approval actually brought back classic problems. The arrangement is harmonized with other regulations. There is vagueness in sentence formulation, use of words, terms, or phrases, which causes multiple interpretations. The arrangement also comes out of the national policy framework related to simplifying regulations promoted by the president himself. In its formation, there is also the possibility of the influence of bureaucratic political practices or competition among state administrative work units in finding alternative solutions to problems that arise in society.

Abstract

Pembelajaran konsep gaya gesek pada bidang miring sering kali hanya disampaikan secara teoretis sehingga kurang memberikan pengalaman empiris kepada peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan alat praktikum koefisien gesekan digital pada bidang miring berbasis mikrokontroler Arduino Uno menggunakan sensor inframerah FC-51. Alat ini mampu mengukur waktu, kecepatan, percepatan, dan menghitung nilai koefisien gesekan secara otomatis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development dengan tiga tahap, yaitu perancangan, perangkaian, dan pengujian alat. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa alat dapat mengukur nilai koefisien gesekan dengan akurasi tinggi, yakni sebesar (96,98 ± 0,01)% hingga 100%. Hasil pengukuran juga menunjukkan hubungan linear yang kuat antara nilai luaran alat dan nilai teoritis, dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,9986. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa alat yang dikembangkan dapat dijadikan sebagai media praktikum yang efektif dan relevan dalam pembelajaran fisika, khususnya dalam memahami gaya gesekan pada bidang miring.
