Abstract

Amid the highly volatile fluctuations in the cryptocurrency market, the ability to accurately predict Bitcoin prices becomes crucial for investors and financial analysts. This study aims to develop a predictive model using Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) Neural Networks, a specific form of recurrent neural network, to predict Bitcoin prices. Historical data on daily closing prices of Bitcoin from 2015 to 2023 was used to train and test the model. Following data preprocessing, which included normalization and the creation of a time series dataset, the LSTM model was constructed with two LSTM layers and two dense layers to enhance the predictive analysis. The model was trained with the data split into 80% for training and 20% for testing. Results show that the LSTM model was able to produce fairly accurate predictions with a low loss value on the test data. Further evaluation through comparison with baseline models showed significant improvements in predictive accuracy. This research demonstrates the potential application of advanced machine learning techniques in financial analysis, particularly in predicting the prices of highly volatile assets like Bitcoin. With continuous improvements to the model architecture and parameter optimization, Bitcoin price predictions could become more reliable, helping stakeholders make more informed investment decisions.

Abstract

Background: Problems faced in the previous manual system include long queues, data inaccuracy, and slow administration, which hamper services to prospective students and parents. Objective: This study aims to improve the efficiency of the New Student Admissions (PPDB) process at Junior High School (SMP) Islam Abdul Wahid through the implementation of an online PPDB website. Method: The method used in this study is a software development approach with a waterfall model, which includes the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, and system testing. Research data were obtained through interviews with administrative staff and questionnaires to prospective students and parents. This website is designed using web technologies to ensure reliability and ease of use. Result: The results of this study are that the online PPDB website is able to speed up the registration process, increase data accuracy, and significantly improve the service system. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of the online PPDB website provides an effective solution in improving the efficiency of school administration and can be applied in other educational institutions as a form of digital innovation in the modern era.

Abstract

The management of student payments in Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren) often faces various challenges, particularly in terms of manual record-keeping, delayed reporting, and limited access to information for parents or guardians. Pondok Pesantren Sabilul Hasan Genggong in Probolinggo Regency is one such Islamic educational institution that requires a more efficient and transparent payment system. The purpose of this study at Pondok Pesantren Sabilul Hasan Genggong is to develop a student financial management application with a barcode feature using the Laravel framework, aimed at providing convenience for parents in monitoring the status of educational payments easily and in real-time. The system development in this research adopts the Waterfall model, a sequential approach consisting of several stages: Requirements Analysis, System Design, Implementation, verification, and Maintenance. In the implementation process, the Laravel framework is integrated with MySQL as the data storage medium. This research results in an information system capable of managing financial operations, particularly payment processes, generating accurate financial reports, and providing payment information access to parents through barcode scanning. With the implementation of this system, payment management in the pesantren becomes more structured, minimizes record-keeping errors, and enhances transparency and ease of access for parents. This system is expected to serve as an effective solution in supporting the digital transformation of financial administration within the pesantren environment.

Abstract

Customers are a critical asset to a company's success and ensuring their satisfaction is paramount. However, continuous churn can lead to reduced value flowing from customers, potentially jeopardizing a company's competitive advantage. Customer churn, where consumers choose products from other brands, is influenced by various factors such as promotion, price, product availability, and customer satisfaction levels. While much of the research on churn prediction is concentrated in the telecommunications, retail, and banking industries and only a few have conducted churn prediction research on online stores. This research aims to utilize data mining with a focus on machine learning algorithms, especially the tree-based gradient boosted models method that applies XGBoost, LightGBM, and CatBoost models, to predict customer churn in online stores. The research methodology involves data collection, data pre-processing, model selection and training, model evaluation, analysis and results. This research uses several libraries such as pandas library, numpy, matplotlib, and so on. The results of this study show that the XGBoost model achieved the highest accuracy in predicting customer churn, with an ROC curve of 0.66 and an accuracy value of 0.80032. The feature importance analysis highlights the gender variable as an important factor in model performance. This research contributes to improving customer service, minimizing churn, and ultimately increasing company profitability in the online store sector. Suggestions for future research include expanding data sources, testing with more evaluation metrics, exploring additional churn factors and comparing with other prediction methods for validation.

Abstract

Aplikasi Raport Digital merupakan sistem aplikasi berbasis web yang diharapkan dapat melakukan perubahan model kerja guru dari manual ke digital Guru dapat membuat penilaian untuk siswa bahkan mencetak rapor dan penilaian nilai hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) Untuk mengetahui apakah ada Hubungan penggunaan aplikasi raport digital dengan efektivitas guru di SMK 4 N Probolinggo, 2) untuk mengetahui seberapa besar hubungan permintaan sertifikat Aktivitas Digital Guru SMK 4 N Probolinggo. Penelitian ini adalah metode korelasi kuantitatif dan kualitatif yang diterapkan pada penilaian di SMK 4 N Probolinggo, Adapun Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa data primer, observasi dan dokumentasi. Pada penelitian ini mencoba membuat sebuah Aplikasi Raport Digital yang sudah berbasis kurikulum terbaru yang yaitu Kurikulum Merdeka, Adapun fitur-fitur yang tersedia dalam aplikasi ini diantaranya, ada inputan data master mulai dari siswa,kelas,guru, semester, setting dan lain-lain, Adapun hak akses yang ada dalam aplikasi bosrapot ini sebagai mana berikut ini: (1). Level Kurikulum merupakan level tertinggi dalam aplikasi ini, yang mana jika anda login menggunakan level ini anda dapat mengakses semua fitur yang ada didalam aplikasi ini, mulai dari setting, input nilai semua kelas, cetak raport kuantitatif, cetak raport kualitatif dan fitur-fitur lainya, (2). Level Wali Kelas merupakan level kedua setelah Level Kurikulum, dimana wali kelas diberikan hakases untuk melihat nilai-nilai yang sudah diberikan oleh guru kepada siswanya mulai dari nilai kuantitatif dan juga nilai kualitatif, pada level wali kelas sudah bisa mencetak raport kuantitatif dan raport kualitatif.(3) Pada Aplikasi ini level terakhir dalam aplikasi ini adalah level guru, yang mana pada level ini, guru diwajibkan untuk mengisikan deskripsi pada masing-masing maple yang diajarkannya, dan juga memberikan nilai kepada siswa, mulai dari nilai kuantitatif dan juga nilai Kualitatif sampai dengan nilai UTS dan UAS.

Abstract

Pembelajaran di sekolah dasar masih banyak didominasi metode konvensional dan belum optimal memanfaatkan media berbasis web, sehingga keterlibatan dan hasil belajar siswa berpotensi kurang maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan mengevaluasi aplikasi media pembelajaran berbasis web untuk mendukung proses belajar-mengajar di SDN Jabung Sisir 01 Paiton. Pengembangan dilakukan dengan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Produk prototipe dibangun menggunakan HTML, CSS, dan JavaScript dengan desain responsif (mobile-first) serta palet warna biru–putih yang disesuaikan dengan identitas sekolah. Uji coba terbatas melibatkan 6 guru dan 90 siswa kelas IV–V pada materi IPA “Siklus Air” dan Matematika “Perkalian Dasar”. Kegunaan aplikasi dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan instrumen System Usability Scale (SUS), sedangkan efektivitas terhadap hasil belajar diukur dengan desain satu kelompok pretest–posttest dan dianalisis menggunakan N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan skor SUS rata-rata sebesar 82,3 yang berada pada kategori sangat baik, serta peningkatan hasil belajar dengan N-Gain sebesar 0,55 yang termasuk kategori sedang. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi media pembelajaran berbasis web yang dikembangkan layak dan cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran melalui penyajian konten multimedia, latihan interaktif, dan umpan balik instan, sekaligus memudahkan guru dalam memantau progres belajar siswa.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan permasalahan kesehatan masyarakat yang berdampak jangka panjang terhadap kualitas hidup dan produktivitas generasi masa depan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan wilayah rawan stunting di Kabupaten Probolinggo dengan menggunakan pendekatan machine learning melalui algoritma K-Means, serta menganalisis hubungan antara prevalensi stunting dengan faktor-faktor demografis seperti tingkat kemiskinan, akses sanitasi layak, dan rata-rata lama sekolah ibu. Data sekunder diperoleh dari Dinas Kesehatan, BPS, dan Dispendukcapil Kabupaten Probolinggo, serta dokumen perencanaan daerah. Hasil klasterisasi membagi kecamatan menjadi tiga kelompok risiko: tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Klaster risiko tinggi ditandai dengan prevalensi stunting di atas 14%, kemiskinan melebihi 20%, sanitasi buruk, dan pendidikan ibu yang rendah. Analisis korelasi menunjukkan bahwa stunting berkorelasi positif kuat dengan kemiskinan (r = 0,96) dan negatif dengan sanitasi (r = -0,93) serta pendidikan ibu (r = -0,96). Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya intervensi lintas sektor yang terarah dan berbasis data untuk mempercepat penurunan angka stunting, khususnya di wilayah dengan karakteristik demografis yang rentan.

Abstract

Pembangunan sumber daya manusia (SDM) di era globalisasi menuntut peningkatan profesionalisme tenaga pendidik, termasuk dalam pengelolaan administrasi kehadiran. SMK Nurul Amien Widoropayung di bawah naungan Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Situbondo masih menerapkan presensi guru secara manual melalui buku absen, sehingga menimbulkan kendala berupa lambatnya rekapitulasi data, kurangnya transparansi, serta potensi manipulasi kehadiran. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan mengembangkan Sistem Informasi Presensi Kehadiran Guru berbasis web menggunakan framework Laravel dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan basis data MySQL. Sistem dilengkapi fitur Global Positioning System (GPS) untuk mendeteksi lokasi guru saat melakukan absensi masuk dan pulang, serta QR Code sebagai mekanisme validasi agar presensi dilakukan di lingkungan sekolah. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) meliputi tahap analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, dan pengujian. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan transparansi dalam pengelolaan data presensi, serta memudahkan kepala sekolah dan operator memantau kehadiran guru secara real-time. Dengan demikian, penerapan sistem ini menjadi solusi efektif untuk mengatasi permasalahan absensi manual, meningkatkan kualitas administrasi sekolah, dan mendukung profesionalisme SDM di SMK Nurul Amien Widoropayung Kabupaten Situbondo

Abstract

This study presents the implementation of a Telegram FAQ chatbot developed in Python to address the difficulty of providing rapid and consistent responses to recurring public-service questions. The system stores question-and-answer pairs in memory, extracts FAQ entries from free-form text, and retrieves the closest answer using text similarity through Python's difflib library. The prototype also provides inline menus, an interactive quiz, FAQ reset and update commands, and an optional large language model refinement stage constrained by the retrieved context. The research followed an implementation-oriented prototyping approach comprising requirements identification, code analysis, system design, implementation review, and scenario-based functional inspection. Static analysis identified 14 principal functions, 273 built-in FAQ pairs, and 100 quiz questions. The implementation analysis indicates that lightweight retrieval can support a practical and resource-efficient FAQ automation prototype while maintaining answers within the available knowledge base. Nevertheless, production deployment requires stronger secret management, persistent storage, access control, logging, and empirical evaluation using real user questions. The study contributes a replicable architecture for controlled FAQ automation on Telegram and establishes priorities for subsequent reliability and usability testing.
