Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing how the verbal meaning of the proposition of Moro in Ternate society, what is the implication of the proposition of Moro for the community of Ternate. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, and the instruments used are observation, interview, documentation, free-to-speak (SBLC), and SPEAKING. Based on the results of the analysis of the Verbal Meaning of Moro's Dalil and Implications for the Ternate Society, it can be seen that the Moro argument is the advice of previous parents in the Ternate language which contains exemplary advice and becomes a life guide for every human being, as a medium in traditional ceremonies, as competitions in arts and cultural events, as the preservation of regional languages, and to strengthen friendship. Many people of Pulau Hiri Subdistrict still use the values ​​of Moro theorem in their daily life, especially among their parents. There are also young people who understand and are able to explain Moro's argument, especially among students. The solution is that apart from teaching parents to their children, the local government also needs to pay attention to provide a forum that can preserve Moro arguments in the sub-district of Hiri Island.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan eksistensi Orom Sasadu, dan makna verbal dan non-verbal pada tradisi Orom Sasadu yang diselanggarakan oleh Masyarakat Sahudi Halmahera Barat, Maluku Utara. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan adalah teknik Observasi, interview, dokumentasi, SLC, dan teknik Catat. Berdasarkan hasil dari peneliti dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) Sasadu saratakan nilai sosial, religi dan kebudayaan yang dapat menjadi pelajaran bagi generasi berikutnya tentang eksistensi, pandangan hidup dan sistem nilai budaya orang Sahu sebagai suatu masyarakat adat; (2) Tradisi orom sasadu biasanya di isi dengan acara makan bersama dan di hibur dengan nyanyian dan tarian adat masyarakat setempat yang dulunya berlangsung selama sambilan hari, namun kini acara ini hanya dilakukan satu hari saja; dan (3) Ada kemauan dari masyarakat setempat untuk tetap mempertahankan arsitektur rumah sasadu ini beserta tradisi Orom Sasadu. Usaha merenovasi dan melestarikan budaya agar dapat mengangkat kembali spirit atau konsepsi-konsepsi yang memiliki nilai positif dalam adat tersebut terutama terkait makna sosial, moral, kebersamaa, makna religious dan budaya. Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to determine the level of condition or status of language vitality that can be directed to save a language from extinction. The general purpose of the study of language vitality is to determine the status of a language, from extinct to safe categories. The status of the language has implications for the actions that need to be taken on the language in question, whether it is necessary to do conservation, revitalization, or simultaneously conservation and revitalization. For example, conservation actions in the form of documentation can only be carried out if the language is classified as extinct or needs to be conserved and revitalized at the same time if the language is categorized as endangered or threatened with extinction. Data for the study of language vitality consists of primary data and secondary data. Primary data is data obtained directly from the source and recorded by researchers. Primary data was obtained through a list of questions in the questionnaire. Secondary data is data that is indirectly obtained from the source. For example, data is obtained from village officials and related documents. Based on the index value of each indicator, we can say that although most people on Hiri Island speak more than one language and often interact with people from different linguistic backgrounds, the use of Ternate on Hiri Island is still dominant. People on Hiri Island still use the Ternate language as a means of communication in the family and community domains. Many parents still teach the Ternate language to their children and the children can still use the Ternate language well. The Ternate language is also still used in every traditional activity on Hiri Island. However, the use of the Ternate language began to be abandoned when the community carried out bargaining activities in the realm of markets, government, and education.

Abstract

Guru bahasa Indonesia SMA, SMK dan MA (SMA sederajat) dituntut untuk trampil menulis naskah drama yang di dalamnya termasuk naskah monolog. Walaupun sudah begitu banyak contoh-contoh naskah monolog yang bisa diunduh secara instan di internet, guru harus bisa membuatnya karena siswa tidak mungkin bisa membuat naskah monolog hanya dengan ditampilkan contoh-contoh naskah monolog tanpa menganalis dan mempraktekkan cara membuat naskah monolog. Pembelajaran tidak hanya mencakup aspek afektif dan kognitif saja tetapi pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia selalu menekankan pada aspek psikhomotor. Berdasarkan analisis situasi dapat dikelompokkan beberapa permaslahan mitra yang harus segera diatasi, yaitu: 1).kegiatan menulis naskah monolog jarang dilakukan guru-guru yang tergabung dalam MGMP Bahasa Indonesia SMA Kota Ternate; 2) kurangnya keterampilan dalam menulis naskah monolog mempengaruhi kreatifitas dan inovasi guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran monolog berbasis teks; dan 3) kurangnya kemampuan berekspresi saat monolog. Hasil pelaksanaan pelatihan yang telah dilakukan kepada seluruh anggota MGMP Bahasa Indonesia SMA Kota Ternate. Kegiatan pelatihan yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 28 s/d 29 Juli 2023 bertempat di SMA N 1 Kota Ternate. Adapun pelatihan yang diberikan adalah menulis nasakah monolog dengan model kooperatif yang berlangsung sebanyak 2 kali tatap muka. Pelaksanaan pelatihan menggunakan metode ceramah bervariasi, demonstrasi, dengan teknik permodelan, dan latihan. Berdasakan hasil pengamatan, narasumber menilai sebagian besar guru yang menulis naskah monolog sudah bagus. Hanya ada beberapa guru yang kelihatan kesulitan untuk mengungkapakan ide cerita dalam nasakah monolog. Selain itu hasil evaluasi menunjukan bahwa sebagian besar guru dalam menulis nasakah monolog terdapat 6 orang atau 33,3% guru yang termasuk dalam kriteria sangat baik, 11 orang atau 61,1% guru yang berkemampuan baik, 3 orang atau 5,5% yang masuk dalam kriteria kurang baik dalam menghasilkan naskah monolog, dan tidak ada guru atau 0% yang termasuk dalam kriteria sangat kurang. Nini menunjukan bahwa solusi atau harapan kegiatan pelatihan agar 75% guru yang ikut dalam pelatihan ini dapat menghasilkan naskah monolog dengan baik bias tercapai.

Abstract

This research was conducted wiht the aim to find out how the students ability in writing poetry in class X SMAN 10 Ternate city and how to improve the ability to write poetry using the example and non-example models of grade X students of SMAN 10 ternate city. The methoud used in this research is descriptive quantitative and the instruments used are observation, interviews, tests and documentation.Based on the results of the studi, poetry writing skills improvement using example and non-example models class X students of SMAN 10 Ternate city consisting of 25 students can be seen that students are able writing poetry using model example and non-example, this is known from the results of research that there are worksheets on the pretest and postets which have increased, in the pretest and postest which have in creased, in the pretest with atotal value of 1.005 with and average value of 40,2 whereas the results of the posttest in the write poetry using the example and non-example models class X students of SMAN 10 Ternate city, with a value of 1.550 demgas an average value of 63,6 as many  23 students 68% have achieved (KKM) from the initial test results of 17 studens 92 % did not reach (KKM).

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of describing the meaning of tokuwela adat in Sangowo Village, and to describe the implications for regional literature in Sangowo Village. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative by using several data collection techniques in the study, namely observation, interviews and documentation. Based on data analysis, it is concluded that the meaning of tokuwela custom is a type of dance, namely the dance of the spirit of togetherness. Which is carried out during the wedding procession, the evening procession for young people's entertainment, the procession to enter a new house and entertain guests. in the wedding procession this dance has a meaning as building a generous household and conveying their joy, then the evening procession of entertainment for young people this dance has a meaning as only to enliven their village and they enjoy the entertainment, then the procession enters a new house which has meaning as gratitude, gratitude for what they get, and the last is the procession of welcoming guests which has the meaning as showing a sense of appreciation even though the person is not yet known by the local community. And for the implications for regional literature, the culture of the people of Morotai Island, especially in Sangowo Village, is a reflection of the sincerity of the soul and the spirit of being grateful for the gift of God Almighty to the land of its people.

Abstract

The teaching assistance activities in teacher education colleges are intended to train students early on to understand the real learning process in schools. They are guided by teachers in schools to experience and observe all teacher activities in the school. Therefore, the research aims to describe the conditions of the implementation of teaching assistance for students majoring in Language Education and Social Science Education at educational units in the city of Ternate. The research issues are focused on problems in the implementation of teaching assistance activities and the compatibility of program application with credit hours conversion and the grades programmed by students. The method used is a case study with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation conducted at the educational units where teaching assistance is implemented in Ternate, as well as the Coordinator of the Indonesian Language, English Language Education, and IPS Education programs for the 2022-2023 academic year. In addition to the faculty team, students majoring in Indonesian Language Education are involved in this research. The research results show that: first, teaching assistance is very important to be carried out so that students can directly master various teaching skills and the programmed courses, as there is thorough preparation by students, mentor teachers, and supervising faculty. Second, the conversion of grades from student programs shows a similarity in the assessment process according to the guidelines and detailed assessment rubrics in line with the learning outcomes of the courses programmed by students. Third, due to strict control, every implementation of the teaching assistance program is carried out well, and program participants are enthusiastic about participating in teaching assistance for the completion of their studies with maximum quality.

Abstract

Monolog memiliki kompleksitas dan kekhususan tersendiri karena meskipun merupakan wicara seorang diri, wicara ini disapaikan di hadapan orang lain. Perkembangan monolog perlu diikuti dengan pembinaan agar sekolah dan masyarakat tidak memandangnya sebagai pementasan drama yang ala kadarnya. Monolog perlu disikapi sebagai genre pementasan drama, yang bila dikemas dengan sungguh-sungguh dapat menjadi tontonan teter yang menarik.Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah masih banyak guru Bahasa Indonsia belum memeiliki ketrampilan dalam bermonolog. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan di laboratorium Komputer SMA 4 Kota Ternate yang merupakan kerja sama Tim PKM Fakutas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pndidikan Universitas Khairun dengan Musyawarah Guru Bahasa Indonesia Kota Ternate yang berjumlah 24 orang. Tujuannya agar setelah mengikuti peltihan, peserta pelatihan dapat mementaskan monolog dengan baik dan dapat melatih siswa bermonolog dalam kegitan pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Kegiatan Pelatihan Monolog dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan Teknik Permodelan. Pelatihsn dilakukan melalui 3 tahapan yaitu tahap pertama tahap penyajian materi, kemudian tahap pementasan atau permodelan monolog dan yang ketiga adalah praktek monolog oleg guru-guru peserta pelatihan.Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu berdasarkan hasil pengamatan, nara sumber menilai sebagian besar guru yang tampil sudah bagus dalam bermonolog. Hanya ada bebarap guru saja yang kelihatan agak malu sehngga kurang bisa berekspresi secara maksimal.  Selain itu, hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar guru sudah bisa bermonolog dengan baik. Terlihat dari tabel hasil evaluasi kemampuan guru dalam bermonolog  terdapat 6 orang atau 33,3% guru yang termasuk dalam kriteria sangat baik,  11 orang atau 61,1% guru yang berkemampuan baik, 1 orang atau 5,5% yang masuk dalam kriteria kurang baik dalm bermonolog, dan tidak ada guru  atau 0% yang termasuk dalam kriteria sangat kurang. Ini menunjukkan bahwa solusi atau harapan kegiatan pelatihan agar 75% guru yang ikut dalam pelatihan ini dapat bermonolog dengan baik bisa tercapai Monologue Training with Modeling Techniques for Indonesian Language MGMP Ternate City  Monologue has its own complexity and specificity because even though it is a solo speech, it is delivered in front of other people. The development of monologues needs to be followed by coaching so that schools and communities do not view them as perfunctory drama performances. Monologue needs to be considered as a genre of drama performance, which if properly packaged can become an interesting tethered spectacle. The problem faced is that there are still many Indonesian teachers who do not have the skills in monologue. This training was carried out in the Computer laboratory of SMA 4 Ternate City which is a collaboration of the PKM Team of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Khairun University with the Indonesian Language Teacher Conference of Ternate City, totaling 24 people. The goal is that after attending the training, the trainees can perform monologues well and can train students in monologues in Indonesian language learning activities. Monologue Training Activities are carried out using Modeling Techniques. The training is carried out through 3 stages, namely the first stage of presenting the material, then the stage of staging or modeling the monologue and the third is the practice of monologue by the trainee teachers. The results obtained are based on observations, resource persons assessed that most of the teachers who performed were good in monologues. There are only a few teachers who look a little embarrassed so they can't express themselves optimally. In addition, the results of the evaluation showed that most of the teachers were able to monologue well. It can be seen from the table that the results of the evaluation of the ability of teachers in monologue are 6 people or 33.3% of teachers who are included in the very good criteria, 11 people or 61.1% of teachers who have good abilities, 1 person or 5.5% who fall into the criteria are not good in monologue, and there is no teacher or 0% which is included in the very poor criteria. This shows that the solution or hope of training activities so that 75% of teachers who participate in this training can monologue well can be achieved.
