Abstract

Social skills are an important aspect that needs to be developed for students because they are a protective factor in creating mental health. It's just that this is one aspect that is still underdeveloped in students. Social skills can be instilled in individuals in various ways, one of which is through training. This community service activity is in the form of Training for Trainers, which aims to increase the capacity of stakeholders to have higher social skills so that they can become role models for students. Participants involved in this activity were administrators, teachers, and caregivers of 30 students. The training lasted 2 meetings, each 3 hours. The training material includes adolescent dynamics, social skills, and the implementation of social skills through the FRESH values, which is an acronym for Friendly (friendly, likes to make friends), Respect (respect), Empathy (empathy or mutual understanding), Smile (smile or friendly to everyone), as well as Humble (humble and not feeling superior to others). The effectiveness of the training was measured using a questionnaire to determine improvements in FRESH implementation. Data were analyzed using central tendency statistics and described narratively. The results show that there has been an increase in the application of FRESH values among dormitory managers, teachers, and caregivers. This improvement is the key to continuous change towards more comfortable and harmonious conditions in Islamic boarding schools, considering that boarding school managers, teachers, and caretakers are the main role models for students while living in Islamic boarding schools. It can be concluded that social skills training through training for trainers has proven effective in improving the social skills of managers, teachers, and caregivers as role models to be imitated by students.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the role of BKI in dealing with the mental health of high school students. This research method uses literature study, by analyzing various literature related to Islamic counseling guidance and Islamic psychological theories that can be applied in an educational context. This study uses sociological and interpretive methods and the research subject in the literature study is literature material. The results of this research show that the impact on students' mental health is such as; stress, anxiety, depression, and even sleep disorders. However, the Islamic Guidance and Counseling (BKI) approach has proven effective in helping students overcome these problems through the integration of biological, psychological, social and spiritual aspects. With approaches such as dhikr, prayer, tazkiyatun nafs, as well as strengthening the values ​​of patience and trust, students are able to manage emotions, increase mental resilience, and cope better with academic pressure. BKI's holistic approach and based on Islamic values ​​also helps students find a balance between academic, social and spiritual, thereby strengthening relationships with family, friends and Allah SWT. This proves that the application of BKI not only provides solutions to students' mental health problems, but also shapes their character and maturity in facing various life challenges. The results of this research indicate that an Islamic-based counseling guidance approach can be an effective solution for overcoming mental health problems among high school students.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the role of Guidance and Counseling for inclusive children at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kartasura. Inclusion is a special education service for every child with special needs. Of course, it is one of the responsibilities of a guidance and counseling teacher at a school, especially at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kartasura, which is known that SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kartasura is one of the schools that accepts inclusive students. From the data obtained, SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kartasura has eight inclusive students, namely five students with a companion teacher for each student, and three students without a companion teacher. This study uses a qualitative methodology with a phenomenological approach taken from interviews with related BK teachers. Then the data is analyzed through interactive analysis. The results of this study are that BK teachers have an important role in helping inclusive students, including being the coordinator of each companion teacher, taking an approach to help inclusive students develop their potential, both in academic and social fields. The inhibiting factor for the role of guidance and counseling for inclusive students is the lack of assistance for some students due to parental disagreement. However, this is supported by inclusive students in this junior high school who show good development in socializing. Socialization efforts carried out by teachers regarding students with special needs (ABK) help non-inclusive students to understand and accept inclusive students, creating an inclusive and friendly environment for all students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada fase remaja awal, khususnya pada siswa SMP yang mengalami bullying di MTsN 2 Surakarta. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini mengevaluasi efektivitas Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) dalam merespons kasus bullying. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) serta referensi dari beberapa jurnal penelitian terdahulu. Hasil wawancara menunjukkan bahwa REBT dapat mengubah pola pikir siswa korban bullying menjadi lebih rasional, dengan langkah konkret yang diakui sebagai faktor krusial. Dampak positif REBT dirasakan oleh korban dan pelaku bullying, namun hambatan utama terletak pada tingkat keparahan kasus dan kesulitan mendapatkan data terinci mengenai bullying. Dengan melibatkan berbagai pihak, penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman holistik tentang peran REBT dalam menangani bullying di sekolah dan menekankan perlunya pendekatan yang melibatkan semua stakeholder untuk hasil yang konkret dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini secara empiris mengeksplorasi dampak psikologis bullying relasional terhadap siswa SMA. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami konsekuensi psikologis dari bullying relasional dan merinci metode penelitian kualitatif dengan wawancara terhadap guru BK, siswa pelaku bullying, dan siswa yang dibully. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang menjadi korban bullying relasional mengalami tekanan emosional, penurunan harga diri, dan perubahan perilaku. Guru BK memainkan peran penting dalam deteksi dini dan intervensi, sementara kebijakan anti-bullying dan partisipasi orang tua dianggap krusial. Kesimpulan studi ini menekankan perlunya pendekatan holistik dalam mengatasi bullying relasional di SMA. Implikasinya mencakup perlunya pelatihan untuk staf sekolah, kampanye anti-bullying, dan keterlibatan orang tua untuk menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang mendukung. Dengan memahami dampak dan faktor yang memengaruhinya, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan strategi intervensi yang lebih efektif untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman dan positif bagi siswa SMA.

Abstract

Cyberbullying is a form of bullying that is very vulnerable to occurring in teenagers, which is now easier and more often done using electronic or digital tools. The aim of this research is to determine cyberbullying behavior with its impact and the factors that influence cyberbullying behavior in adolescents. The method used by researchers is the library research method, library study. The results of the research were carried out by analyzing journals related to cyberbullying in adolescents. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that Cyberbullying is an action carried out by a person or group of people against another individual via text messages, images/photos or videos that tend to be degrading and harassing. Apart from that, cyberbullying can have a serious impact on an individual's mental development, one of the negative impacts being low self-confidence. Feeling lonely and isolated from the surrounding environment. On the other hand, there are also internal factors, including; Internal behavior is related to the personality characteristics of the perpetrator who lacks empathy. The external factors are caused by the rapid development of technology, as well as the increasingly easy way for technology to provide open social media for teenagers.
